Kenji stepped back outside.It was now dusk, and Kenji wanted to take in the fresh air for the last time that day. Unfortunately, that was what the Chaos Hunters stationed on Mount Fuji wanted.

Meanwhile, Kenji's father grabbed his katana (Kenji was still wearing his on his belt) and the two of them were running silently through the house, blocking the doors as silently as they could. The hunters outside had no idea that they were aware of them, and Kenji couldn't have been more glad that they didn't wear their shoes inside. Once all the doors were barricaded, Kenji and his father grabbed the crossbows that they hoped they would never have to use, and went to the upstairs windows. The fight had begun.
