As the song ends, the circuit breaker finally trips, plunging the whole building into darkness.

"Uh...yeah.  I guess it's time to leave.  Say, do you know who wrote that song?  It sure describes how I'm feling right now..."

"uh, linkin park? So" he said, turning to Shiro "where should we go then?"

"No clue." Shiro said with a shrug, as he thought for a moment.
"Fire boy, mind giving some light to the situation?"

"Perhaps if we go to this Linking Park, we can find out why I can't remember anything about myself or my past...do you know the way?"

"um, they're a band...." Marik said, holding his hand out and letting fire spring into a shere, that he tossed from hand to hand. "Back to Terakou i guess?"

Shiro sighed.
"Alright then; that's the best place for new Chosen Ones. Was kinda hoping to take down some Chaos Guardians before getting back; but that works."

"Well, I'm game for that, as long as you think its a good idea to take the noob along?"

"He took out half the third wave by himself with that technique of his." Shiro pointed out, referring to the Grenade trick.

[Flipz]

"Ok...I guess.  You think someone there can explain my an...anm..amna...memory loss?  Look, I have no clue what I'm doing, but long as you guys are watching my back, I'll try to watch yours.  OH!  I almost forgot!"  Aki concentrates, and sends his Ki Whip down to grab his dropped weapons.  "You know, I think I'm getting the hang of this...Also: Why are we standing here in the dark?  Shouldn't we try and turn the lights back on?  In case those guys come back?  Who are they anyway? Oh, and how did you do that trick with the guy's sword?  And making them stick to the wall?  And--"

Marik threw his fireball into the air, and it expanded to illuminate the room with an eerie green light. "They're the Chaos Hunters. Bad guys. world domination types. No more questions for a few, ok?"  Marik turned to Shiro. "you got a loation for that chaos guardian?"

"They are the Chaos Hunters. They pose as essentially the police force of the world; but... They are actually trying to rule the world. Not that they're far off, because of their reach, but..." Shiro said with a shrug.
"As for the place... Anyone happen to have a barrier power?" Shiro asked, a plan forming in his head. He however turned to Marik first.
"I think he might be nearby. Not sure where; but apparently he's up to no good."

"barrier?"

[Flipz]

Aki asked the same thing at the same time as Marik.  "Barrier?"

"Yes; a Ki shield. We'll need one for my plan to work properly." Shiro said with a sigh.

-==IC: Kali==-

Kali frowned, as she went over everything that happened.
Kaze had a choice to save me or Sonia... So why did he save me...? Kali thought to herself, as she shook her head.
I usually ignore him, I constantly seem to be upset when I talk to him, and usually storm out of the room, like I did earlier today... So... why did he choose me? Kali asked herself, as she walked toward the third floor.
All this is my fault... I should've listened to him; shouldn't have rushed out there like I did... But I didn't listen. Kali thought, as she sighed, and her frown deepened. Kali walked down the third floor hallway, still trying to piece together why Kaze saved her, but paused, as she looked into the Training room and saw Kaze attacking a training target quickly and harshly.

OOC: Just as a note, a lot of the stuff that'll happen in the Kaze/Kali ICs are more or less directly from the epic's chapter, since I don't really feel like typing out a parallel IC for that, since a lot of it is dialogue.

"as in this?" Marik said, holding out his hand and creating a wall of solidified ki.

"I don't know if I can do that--I just figured out how to use that...energy...whip...thingy .  What is Ki, anyway?"

OOC: Something I'm sure has been asked OOC several times by now...

"enegry" marik said, blasting a hole in teh wall.
"pure power" he elaborated, shaping the enegry into a sheild, then a brik that he threw to the ground and shattered, which evaporated.

"Ki is a mysterious new form of energy. It's not like other forms of energy, and can be solidified and such. Chosen Ones are manipulators of Ki." Shiro explained, though that was only a basic explanation, as he turned to Marik.
"If you can make that into a sphere so it can protect us, sure."

-==IC: Kaze/Kali==-

"Kaze?" Kali asked, and Kaze paused, as he turned around. Kaze paused as he saw it was Kali, and frowned slightly, but nodded that she could come in.
"I'm sorry..." Kali started to say, but Kaze shook his head.
"It doesn't matter... It was my fault." Kaze said, a frown on his face.
"I thought I could save you both; but I messed up. But where did I go wrong?" Kaze asked, a look of sadnes on his face, as Kali sighed.
"I'm not sure... In my opinion, I think everyone got shocked when you chose me... Including myself." Kali said, but paused for a moment.
"However, that's not what I wanted to apologize for." Kali continued, as Kaze looked up, confused.
"Well, partly, but the main this is... I'm sorry for the way I've been treating you since we first met 8 years ago." Kali said, and Kaze nodded.
"I don't know why I took such a disliking to you from the start... Maybe it was because I believed you were just some kid who interrupted people, or maybe it was your insistence... I'm not sure." Kali said, and paused for a moment, as Kaze simply listened.
"However, you started to make me wonder if I had made the right first impression; especially after you saved me from that Chaos Hunter during the attack, when..." Kali paused again, and shook her head.
"You know what I mean. That made me wonder if I had given you a proper chance; however... We never ran into each other after that." Kali said, and Kaze thought for a moment.
"Or maybe we did, and we never realized." Kaze added, and Kali nodded.

OOC: There's still more; and I have to be careful how fast I post this, because I need M'Raize and Sakeo for one part. =P Or at least Sakeo. =P

Aki shrugged.  "Sure.  Maybe you can teach me more about what I can do with this on the way so I can be more of a help when we find this guy."
