Kenji jumped down from above, executing several complex flips as he did just because he could. "Anyone feel like reminding me how we got that code, anyway?" he asked, landing on his feet.

"I got it when I used that weird move on that Chaos Guardian that time. Still not quite sure how it actually happened, but..." Kaze said to Kenji, and turned to Rakoua.
"Might be an idea... But what if there's data also relating to the location of Neo and such?" Kaze asked, as Kazuki frowned.
"... About that..."

"Weird move?" Kenji asked, tilting his head. "Did it have a name?"

"Hmm... I think I remember saying something like 'Ki Data Drain', but I'm not quite sure where I got that name from." Kaze frowned, as Kazuki looked around, and Kaze turned to him.
"About what?"

"Ki Data Drain..." Kenji murmored, thinking over the name. "Sounds like something out of .hack or something..."

OOC: Oh, now you start to recognize that series.

"Hmm, now that you mention it, that is a funny co-incidence. Ah well, couldn't be related." Kaze said, shrugging.

OOC: Poor Kaze... =P He's totally wrong.

IC:
Kenji shrugged as well. "Guess it doesn't really matter. You were saying, Kazuki?"

OOC: I was actually reading it, saw "Data Drain," and I'm thinking "So that's where he got it... xD"

OOC: xD Nice. Yeah, that's where I got it from. =P

"Ahem. Well, we analyzed the code Kaze obtained. It seems that it's one fragment of a larger piece of code. However, we also found out something, from a readme that was put in there for some reason. Apparently the code fragments is assigned to eight 'Chaos Guardians'. The Chaos Guardians apparently have special powers that normal Chaos Hunters don't have." Kazuki explained, and Kaze nodded.
"I'd believe that; the guy we faced used Water powers or something." Kaze said, as Kazuki nodded, and continued.
"Now, the readme also mentions something interesting, about why the code fragments are given to these powerful Chaos Guardians. Apparently... Without all eight fragments of code restored to it's complete form... We cannot enter the main Chaos Hunter headquarters, see it... Or harm Neo."

OOC: And the plot thickens. >=D I just thought up the seeing the headquarters thing because I just changed the location of where the Chaos Hunter HQ is.

IC:
Kenji didn't even blink nor did he skip a beat. "So all we have to do is kick the butts of all of these Guardians, right? Where are they?"

He was cracking his knuckles.

"That's all the Readme said. I'm surprised we even got a Readme at all; maybe it was supposed to be part of their own communication system, or something. Either way, we don't know any of the locations, and even finding that last Chaos Guardian was pure luck; If Kaze hadn't gone off on his own... Again... we may never have found out about that until it was too late." Kazuki explained, and Kaze frowned.
"... So what now?" Kaze asked, and Kazuki sighed.
"We may have a clue with this cannon, or at least upgrade our handheld weapons, but for now... we wait. And of course since the school year just started..." Kazuki said with a smile, as Kaze sighed.

OOC: It's mostly a waiting game for the first little while. But we will have a Chaos Guardian battle... The official introduction of elements... possibly a CODEX enhancement(Either that, or next Intermission/Chapter)... The official return of the food fighter and his name... the introduction of new elements... And more?

"I see..." Kenji said, slightly disappointed that he wasn't gonna be able to knock some heads together. "Anything else before I start doing something else?"

OOC: Please come up with something to entertain Kenji. I have no idea what he wants to do. xD

"Well, I think there may be something to do around here... In fact, I think that there's a camp of Chaos Hunters nearby that may have been behind the attack. Could you check it out? Permission to fight granted, if they fight back." Kazuki said, and Kaze nodded.

OOC: After this, we have to roam the school for a little bit, I may have some ideas, but let's get this post spree going, I want to get the this part's ending quickly, so I can get closer to the end of the chapter. =P

Kenji smiled, fingering his hatana's hilt. It had been a while since he was able to bash some heads together.

A little while later, the group made their way out of the school, and looked around, as Kaze scratched his head.
"... Did Kazuki happen to mention which direction these Chaos Hunters were supposed to be in?"

[Rakoua]

IC (Rakoua):
"Nope. Well then, uhh... Where will we go?

"I don't know... Anyone got any suggestions?" Kaze asked, frowning.

"Lets go back to the place where we found the cannon and then see if we can find anything else..."

Kaze nodded, and the group headed in that direction.
