The burst hit me in my left arm, burning my skin. However, it didn't hit the muscle or the bone, so I was pretty much OK.
"You don't seem to be having much luck, perhaps all those Chaos Hunters you mentioned would have more? Because I think we killed them all..."

OOC: That's a challenge.

"Oh yeah?" Sonia asked, as the clicking of about 50 guns behind them challenged that statement.
"I'd think you're wrong."

[Rakoua]

IC (Alt Rakoua):
"Remind me to tell myself that I am an idiot..." I said, sighing, and prepared to jump in case the hunters decided to fire.

The Hunters aimed, but didn't fire just yet. Meanwhile, Sonia simply looked at the Rakouas, and frowned.
"You're outnumbered, and overpowered. Will you give up yet?" Sonia asked, raising an eyebrow skeptically.

[Rakoua]

IC (Rakoua):
"How do I say this... That's a negative. You got us surrounded, which means we can now shoot at you in all directions." I said, while nodding at alt Rakoua.

The Hunters, at about that moment, opened fire on the two Rakouas, as Sonia frowned, and teleported away, to a spot slightly higher up in the immediate area.

Appearing on the scene shortly after he dropped off Aki, and after Sonia teleported to the roof, Naikage looked over at Sonia, and teleported to her with a scowl.
"We need to talk." Naikage stated, and grabbed her arm, to Sonia's surprise, as he teleported the two of them back to the Chaos Hunter Tower... To Neo's command chamber, to be specific.

Waiting just outside Neo's command chamber to be called, InAki leans over and whispers quickly to Brooke.  "Sorry to bring you into this high-level stuff so quickly, but...well, better the danger of politics than the perils of combat.  Just keep close, follow my lead, and do everything I say, and you should be able to stay out of trouble.  For now, once I'm called in, I want you to join the other Hunters guarding the door."  InAki stands and waits, his bearing perfectly military.

"Come in." Neo called from behind the door, a hint of annoyance in his voice, however, the door opened, to reveal the command centre with all the Chaos Guardians present, with only a few seats remaining. Sonia was seated, with Naikage standing behind her. The rest of the seats were numbered, with seats number one to three, five, seven, and nine empty. Seat number 4 was also empty... For then.
"Excuse the lack of people sitting down, they've either already been defeated, haven't shown up yet, or are on a mission currently." Neo stated with a scowl, as a familiar looking person with a constant smirk sat in seat eight, and looked over toward the newcomers. A girl with blondish-brown hair, who looked around Naikage's age sitting in seat ten, with a seemingly bored look on her face. She looked over at Aki, her grey eyes not betraying her thoughts, as she shrugged, and waited for the meeting to start.

OOC: Keep that character in mind. She will become veeeeeeeeeery important. Trust me on that.

/EDIT: Also, I just realized I can start hinting toward these kinda things, since I kinda have to now. xD

OOC: I'm assuming--based on something that has to happen later--that there are generic "mook" CH guards inside the room at the doors; Brooke is serving as one of them at the moment.

Oh gosh.  I just realized.  Muhuhahahaha.  Oh gosh, Brooke's life is about to get complicated.

InAki nodded respectfully, and looked around the room.  Let's see...ah, yes, that would make sense.  And...mmhmm...VERY interesting...one to keep in mind.  InAki felt Aki's familiar prodding, and allowed him to take control seamlessly.  "There is nothing to forgive.  The circumstances that led to my being here were...unusual, to put it kindly--" at this, Aki glared venomously at Sonia, before returning his attention to Neo "--and so I cannot expect the circumstances of the meeting itself to be any different.  It is I who must ask your forgiveness, Sir, for my knowledge of protocol is...somewhat limited.  I'm afraid circumstances beyond my control prevented my taking the time to learn such things before my infiltration of the Chosen Ones.  So please forgive me for having to ask--how would you prefer that I address you?"  As he talked, Aki took note of everything about the room--exits, potential exits, the ideal and likely exit strategies of his fellow Guardians, and, more importantly, exit strategies for Brooke.  He could not afford to turn and look at the girl, but his senses registered an unusual degree of fear--whether from what she had seen at A.I.M.S. or from the obvious power contained within the room, he could not know, but for his purposes it would serve him well.

[Rakoua]

IC (Rakoua):
A few seconds before that, we jumped, using an illusion to make the CHs think we're still on the ground. The bullets passed trough the illusion and hit the CHs on the other side, killing most of them.
"Okay, so, now can we get back to killing you?"

The Hunters that remained responded by continuing to fire at the two Rakouas, quickly.

"Just Neo works fine for me." Neo stated, as the blonde looked over at Aki, shooting him a 'what are you doing?' look, though Neo paid no attention.
"To the purpose of this meeting... For one, half of the Chaos Guardians have either already been defeated, or are on their way to being defeated." Neo said, and looked over at Sonia with slight annoyance.
"We had a perfect opportunity to kill the Chosen Ones, and yet they still live. Why is that?" Neo asked, looking straight at Sonia.

[Rakoua]

IC (Rakoua):
"Oh great. Now we have to wait for them to run out of ammo." I said, as alt Rakoua made an ice wall around us.

The Hunters simply continued to fire non-stop, apparently not running out of ammo any time soon.

IC (Alt Rakoua):
I created some Anti-CH propaganda on some Plasma Screen TVs to make them consider what they're doing with their lives.

The Hunters simply shot the TVs first, and then continued to shoot at the two Ki Strikers.

IC (Rakoua):
"Looks like a different approach is needed..."
I teleported to next to some CHs and smashed their heads together, and then I teleported away to dodge their fire.

The Hunters, however, ignored their downed friends, and simply continued to try and kill the two wreaking havok in the area.

"I'll tell you why."  Aki raises his hand and slowly revolves in the center of the room.  As he reaches Sonia, he points dramatically at her.  "Her.  She and her friend Erica got jumpy, and oh-so-cleverly started a fight with the Chosen Ones.  And lost."  Aki rolls his eyes.  "Rather than slowly draw them into the city, draining their reserves with constant fights and the looming danger of discovery--after all, it takes a lot more Ki to kill something quickly and quietly than it does to just blast 'em all--rather than taking the smart, logical, sensible plan, Erica decides to jump out and start a fight with three fire-types and Rakoua--all at full strength.  Then, when she inexplicably starts losing, does she call on her troops?  No!  She just keeps fighting until they've got her half-frozen--"

"Frozen?" someone asks.

"Yeah, fire-types can absorb heat.  Don't you guys read?  So anyhow, after these two fire-guys pull a Vakama, I have to risk breaking cover just to extract her--and then the fool starts attacking me!"

"But that's not all of it.  You'd expect that, with Erica out of the picture, the troops would have moved in and mowed down the Chosen Ones...but no.  When I got back, this moron--" Aki jerked his thumb dismissively over his shoulder at Sonia "--decides not only not to kill them outright, but to blow one of the biggest hidden cards we had to play: herself."  Aki spins and glares angrily at the Chaos Guardian of Sonics.  "Have you learned nothing in all your time here?  I know we trained you better than this--I got a grand total of FIVE MINUTES with Naikage, and yet even I know better than to blow an operation by giving away your best hand."  Aki spins on his heel with carefully calculated disgust.  "Neo, these were not the actions of a responsible, reliable Guardian; nor were they the actions of an individual who is an asset to this organization.  These mistakes belong to a fool.  A liability.  I'd say some punishment is in order, wouldn't you?"

Neo mused over that for a moment, as Sonia frowned, not liking the tone that Aki had, as she looked over at him with half-blank eyes. However, before she got a chance to say anything, Neo spoke up again.
"Yes; I do believe you are right. She has indeed disappointed me, and I believe that she's still trying to resist control." Neo said, though mumbled the last part to himself more or less.

"All right, then.  I believe I have a solution."

Aki spins and unleashes his Ki Whip upon Sonia.  As he drags the girl forcefully from her chair, she is struck by a second burst of energy.

"Ki...Data...DRAAAIIIN!!!!!!!!"

There is a burst of light, and Sonia is thrown roughly back.  Still glowing from the expenditure of power, Aki turns his head, exchanging a silent look with Neo.
