It's not hard for me; I was just expressing my translation of what Lionytai meant; which he actually backed up in that post. =P
If I'm guessing correctly, I'm thinking the reasoning behind Lionytai's thoughts, is that such a wide limit of 'please me', means that any and all judges who want to judge it, would be divided, unless some utterly spectacular creation was submitted that got every single judge to agree on what should win. That could be avoided if it used a 'voting' process for the judges similar to some 'keep or let go' situations on reality shows, of course.
Again, none of this is my opinion. Would I like a writing contest? Sure; I'm not good at drawing, and I'll admit that; I can't write songs(... Or, well, maybe more 'I can't think of ways to finish songs'), MOCs are possible, but would not have any colour scheme at all; and so on, so written stuff would ironically be my only way of keeping up with awesome photoshoppers or the like.(Especially when you consider I once hated to write stuff, long before I joined forums. =P) However; does that mean I want to be selfish and have one particular entry limitation because of that? No; because I want the challenge; and in a way, this would allow that to happen.
One thing I would consider though... This is an untested idea, but has the potential to be very cool...
What about a Choose Your Own Adventure? Might not truly work, as everyone would be able to easily see the entire storyline without having to actually choose, and there'd be a lot of in-topic links; but it might be interesting. And if not as a contest, as an actual event of sorts, since we haven't had anything big happen recently, and it hasn't even been attempted on here before.
