1. As with most forums, double posting is prohibited. It takes up bandwidth, which slows down the site's performances as a result. If you need to add in something to your prior post, and no one else has posted after you, then please just edit it, instead of posting a new post. Double posting is classified as a misdemeanor, unless repeated infractions occur.

2. Nothing inappropriate for for people twelve years of age and younger is to be posted here. MLNO is a family oriented site, and it would be unacceptable if anything vulgar was posted here. "Inappropriate content" may include one of the following, but is not restricted to: sexually oriented content, profanity, and references to adult-oriented media). Posting such content is classified as a felony, and potential consequences include temporary banning, permanent banning, and multi-reputation point deduction.

3. Spam, which stands for Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages, may not be posted at the MLNO. Spam is classified as a misdemeanor, unless repeated infractions occur. Please see the MLNO Forum Help Center for more information on spam.

4. Under no circumstances is anyone allowed to flame and insult each other. Flaming is classified as a felony, and potential consequences include temporary banning, permanent banning, and multi-reputation point deduction. Please see the MLNO Forum Help Center for more information on flaming.

Insulting anyone, be it staff or members, is not tolerated. This includes calling people terms that are meant to be degrading to them. You may have differences with someone, however that does not give you the right to insult anyone. Insulting can be punishable as a misdemeanor or a felony, depending on how severe the situation is.

5. The posting of pictures of yourself is prohibited, in order to maintain everyone's identity in real life. Remember that as soon as you post a picture on the Internet, it is out there for everyone to see - and anyone can save it onto their computer. Anyone ranging from average people, to predators. Posting such pictures is a misdemeanor.

6. Posting glitches or codes used for illegal purposes, and asking for illegal glitches or codes related to MLN is prohibited, as it is considered cheating. These glitches/codes may include getting a particular badge or item illegitimately. Punishment for circulating these kinds of glitches or codes may include temporary banning or multi-reputation point deduction, and asking for them may result in a warning or one reputation point deduction.

7. Discrimination against one's sex and race is strongly frowned upon. Everyone is born free and equal, as defined by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The act of discriminating against someone is a felony, and punishable by a varied banning length or multi-reputation deduction.

8. You may not ask for an administrative position, or any other position involving enhanced powers. The chances of you receiving such a position will be decreased that way. In addition, threatening the MLNO in any way, is a severe transgression, and will not be taken lightly by the MLNO staff. The ban sentence length depends on the severity of the threat made.

9. If you spot anything suspicious or unusual, relating to any form of criminal activity, then immediately report it to the staff. Speaking up could help stop something before it becomes a much more severe problem.

10. Posting of personal information like last names, addresses, phone numbers, etc is forbidden. You may reveal your first name if you which, but you may not reveal anywhere your last or full name. This is to make sure that everybody's identity is kept protected.

11. Religious and political discussion and debate is allowed on the MLNO, to a certain degree. Please see the Debate Board rules for more details.

12. If a moderator has posted saying that a topic will be locked, but you can still post in it, do not post saying that the topic is still unlocked. The moderator will most likely be in the process of closing it. If however they go offline before they have locked it, then please contact an administrator or a global moderator who is preferably online to lock the topic.

13. The registration of multiple accounts is not allowed. Please PM an admin before registration if a sibling would like to join.

14. Profile comments with an unreasonably large sized font and filled with nonsense are banned on the MLNO. Consequences for posting such comments are the same as posting spam - first a warning, then a rep deduction, and finally a ban if it gets severe enough.

MyLEGO Network Organization Staff Protocol and Procedures

1. When locking a topic, please make a note in the closing post stating that the topic will be archived 3 days after the initial locking. On that date, it will be archived. Do not archive it a few days early.

2. All topics that are exactly one month old are officially outdated, excluding holiday topics, stickied topics, and database topics. If you are unsure about a topic please PM one of the four mentioned below. After one month has passed and there are no new posts in it, then it is to be locked and archived accordingly. If it is revived, then it is also to be locked and archived accordingly.

3. If you must edit a post for a certain reason, please edit it, and at the end of the post insert this:

Tag the edit with "EDIT:", make the text bolded and colored red, type the reason why the post was edited, and sign your username at the bottom.

4. If someone had double-posted, please merge their posts together and make an edit in their post stating not to double post.

5. If someone is excessively spamming, you have the right to delete all the unnecessary posts and issue a B.O.T. (Back On Topic) warning in the topic. If necessary explain why the posts were spammy and why they were deleted.

6. If something big happened to the forum and an administrator is necessary and not on, immediatly email one of the administrators (nwj345, MÆLSTRØM, Rahkshi8000, or Omega Blademan (Forum Janitor/Maintenance)).

7. If a flaming session begins you must be impartial to deal with the situation. Do not take sides in it. Try to peacefully resolve the conflict, not participate in it.

8. Do not abuse your power in any way.
