The MLNO Security Center was created in order to quickly notify MLNO citizens of a possible threat to the forum. It shows citizens the level of jurisdiction the threat is/may be present, the exact category, forum, and sub-forum the threat is/may be present, and the level of danger the threat is.

What is a threat you ask? Well, it could be one of the following, but not restricted to:

• Mass-spammer Attack
• Mass-flamer Attack
• Hacker Attack

These are just some of the basic types of threats that can strike MLNO.

The levels of jurisdiction here at MLNO are the following:

• Forum-Wide
• Category
• Forum
• Sub-Forum

A threat to the forum would be classified as a:

• Forum-Wide Threat
• Category-Wide Threat
• Forum Threat
• Sub-Forum Threat

As stated above, The Security Center will not only state the location of the threat, but the level of danger the threat is as well. They are as follows:

• Red Alert – A definite threat is imminent and is causing great disorder to forum activity. Administrator presence will be required. The affected jurisdiction/s may be locked down temporarily until the situation is resolved. In addition, a mandatory evacuation may be issued by the staff.
• Orange Alert – A definite threat is imminent and is causing disorder to forum activity. Administrator presence will be required. A voluntary evacuation may be issued by the staff. Citizens will be advised not to attempt to attack the threat, but to simply ignore it and leave.
• Yellow Alert – A definite threat is imminent. The affected jurisdiction/s will be put on alert. All forum-wide activity is proceeding normally, however citizens will be advised to be on the lookout for any unusual activity.
• Lime Green Alert – A possible threat is imminent. All forum-wide activity is proceeding normally, however citizens should be wary of a possible threat to the forum.
• Green Alert – There is no threat imminent. All forum-wide activity is proceeding normally.

The current forum status will be listed in the News Ticker, and will be changed at any time necessary.
