You're oversimplifying the issue. It is not about "oh noes apple is literally satan", it's about patent laws being a massive cluster...thing.

In the tech sector, everybody is suing everybody right now, and most companies are giving as good as they get.



Here's a (simplified!) diagram on the subject, published in Digital Trends on the 18th. As you can see, the entire thing is so complex that it's not even legible. You're oversimplifying the issue.
