Nicholas and Mary are meeting to exchange presents. They agree to meet between the hours of noon and midnight, with the minute being a multiple of ten, but after that they have difficulties. Mary refuses to meet at any odd-numbered hour except 5 and 9. Nicholas refuses any hour divisible by 3 or 4. Both agree that noon and midnight are out, to avoid the confusion of two 12s. Mary is a night owl, and prefers the latest time that both are willing. Nicholas would prefer to be in bed by 9:30.
After agreeing on the hour, there is the issue of minutes. While they agree that the minute should end in a '0', the tens place causes them some conflict (though they both agree that the tens place should be greater than 0). Mary considers the number 4 unlucky due to an incident with a gorilla that she would prefer not to discuss. Nicholas would rather just get it all over with already, and prefers an earlier time. Mary prefers an even number, but is alright with 3. Nicholas would rather not have anything that has an even-numbered square.
Before a slapfight breaks out, perhaps you should tell them when to meet.
