Not too different from the original Cave Story, asides from three difficulties (easy, original, hard) and some new game modes. (Such as the Nemesis challenge along with three others. Along with improved graphics, remastered music as well as new music and the original music. It has options for the original or new graphics and options for original, new or remastered music. I prefer the remastered music.
