OK.. it has reached 102 here in Portland at 5 PM. Could still climb. The breeze is gone. The dogs have been inside downstairs with my dear son Sean. It's much cooler there. 80 inside at the thermostat.. slightly higher here at my desk, even with all the East facing windows covered. Thank goodness there is a small window AC in my bedroom. I know many of you have lived through a month of this.. and I know my body will adapt soon... it just hasn't yet.
its possible that you may not adapt before its gone

Its down to 93 outside, 81 inside..
