thank the FSM, he's staying.  Grin

as a country, we'd be ruined if Romney had been elected.

My body is ready...

...To bask in the pure liquid rage the Republican party will be producing.

my mother is already screaming about Muslim conspiracies, civil war, and obama renaming the country after himself.

i'm not sure whether to be frightened of her or laugh at her.

Frightened.  I'd go with frightened.

To hear my father talk about how Romney was the only moral choice--especially given the way he treats my mother and me--I've learned a new definition of "blood chilled."  Coupled with the fact that this past Monday was the first time I'd actually felt real emotion without a corresponding sense of overwhelming shame in over three and a half years...well, let's just say Obama's reelection is a bit of good news I've been heavily overdue for.

In other news: If you have not yet seen Wreck-It Ralph, go see it.  NOW.  DEFINITELY worth it.  (The 3D wasn't nearly as good as on Pixar films, though, so I'd only recommend it if your theater's 2D projectors and/or sound systems are outdated compared to the 3D ones (something that I've seen happen in a LOT of theaters).  Do some research and make sure you find a theater with a good projector and a really nice sound system--the movie itself is glorious, but when I watched it my experience was hampered by an older theater with a rather lackluster sound system and the company I kept (which meant I had to suppress my reaction if the joke made was one they might actually understand). )
