I'd wager that a good amounts of the press isn't quite as wrong as you'd think. And I'd say double that the fact that people seem to distrust the 'press' in situations like this kinda is how things got into this mess both here and in Britain with Brexit.

Another thing is this stuff about 'liberal' press. At this point, I don't think that anyone can afford to divide humanity like this. Not when some people still can't seem to learn to see each other as actual people.

Let me try and explain what I'm trying to say here. The registries may or may not be real, but the sheer fact that it can be a possibility, combined with the very real comments that Trump has made, and also combined with who he's appointing to different places, make me very sketchy on this whole thing. I haven't even actually seen half the news articles, and yet this still just... I don't even know why I'm typing any of this up.
