Either I'm really jaded, or Bravely Default's writing is bad when it comes to the "emotional" scenes. Because at the scene of a major character's death, my only thoughts were "That was way too obvious, and -Character- is overacting. And all this could be avoided if you'd just done the obvious thing like you were told to earlier."
Very fun game, though. (Oddly, the sidequest stories are much less cliched.)
