No, it was one of the "features" I absolutely LOATHED about FireRed: the trainers were absurdly tough for the cash they gave out, and I couldn't buy 10 Pokeballs at once to get a Premiere Ball. It led to several LONG strings of Vs. Seeker abuse at certain points.
I need a pokemon I can catch up to this point that can handle Cut, Rock Smash, and Strength, with Flash being a nice bonus if possible.
EDIT: Wha--? YES!!! I just caught:
*Female Whismur (Premiere Ball)
*Male Level 7 Abra (Ultra Ball) (Got the UB from my Zigzagoon's Pickup)
*Female Nincada (Premiere Ball)
AND my Treecko evolved into Grovyle! YEAH-UH!!!
