idea: perhaps the BIOS was updated?if that's the case, it may be a different key now.

No, not me. =P Linux/Unix all the way. =D I only use Windows because that's what I need to use.(Hence why I've been spending so much time messing with a VERY old variant of Knoppix recently, and will have Ubuntu 10.4 in a few days... I'd have the current version of that, but I don't think it'd run correctly, for multiple reasons. =P)

I haven't had much of a chance to use 7, but from what I remember of what i did use of it; it just seemed like a newer XP. =P Not to say I wouldn't upgrade if I got the chance, of course. Roll Eyes

I think the different Linux variants are intriguing, however, since each has as many differences within one OS type, as between a Windows PC and a Mac. Yet they're neither. It's very intriguing. =P

I am SO UPSET!

I had my computer worked on to fix the not being able to get into safe mode issue.
While he was working on it it blue screened, (after he edited bios
Then he had to take it into the shop
Now it is slower than it was when he started ( It wasn't slow before)

I am so ticked I could explode.

Warning.. do not be the one to set me off...
