Legodac: reporters won't have access to the staff board, unless they're mods themselves, and if they're mods then they wouldn't have to require approval just to post a news topic.
I'm currently lobbying for them to have powers so they can actually report effectively(Why do we have to wait 10 seconds anyway, when that could be used elsewhere?), but Rahkshi summed it up. They won't have access to the staff boards. they get their Reporter's board, and unless they become a part of the staff and are a mod like KZ or B~T or so, then they won't have access to the staff board. There's no changing that.
