They will not be allowed into the actual staff board unless they're staff.

What was being heavily debated over was if they'd get their own board; which was pretty much unneeded in that way, since it had already been made when this topic was made.

However, as I have mentioned elsewhere; I do not agree that the reporters should have to move their stories from one board to another just to get it into the news, since in that time, if we had been almost getting a news story out first, we may lose that edge and get it out later than other sites.

I'm not looking for powers, mod or otherwise, but the public has a right to know, it's the constitution of most countreys.

I still believe that a tested and proven and trustworthy reporter should have access to some of the MLNO's governmental goings on.

Reporting as I've stated, would be proof read and approved for posting, this isn't the real world afterall, but we do use it as a guide, don't we?

For now I suggest that that Blade is correct, let's make a reporters bourd, so that the ones interested in sharing, get to be heard as soon as possible, we can deal with evolution as time goes by.

Only if a reporter is on at the time the topic is posted. Otherwise it could be a longer period of time, and some members of other sites may view this forum just for news, as guests.

You have to factor in that if they don't go to the 'move topic' screen from the post screen(Many don't, it's an easy option to miss. ), then it takes longer for the other screen to be opened. And if there are slower computers or internet sources(Like network cables, or just plain what type of internet you have; just went over that), it could be slower.

But it is quick for me as well.

Legodac: There will be no access to the staff boards for Reporters unless they're mods themselves. And there is a reporters board; is everyone skipping that section of my post(s)? =P

Read again Blade, the tested part, as I've stated in a prior post, I agree with you, until one passes the mod test, they don't have access to the government. Once passed however, they should, and be able to report on approval only.

Let's stop the discussion and make this happen, we can evolve as time goes by, but discussing doesn't start anything.

The reporters bourd, the only thing we should be discussing is who are the reporters, or can anyone report?
