Lloyd jumped in surprise, not expecting someone to suddenly appear behind him, and turned around, and then smiled.
"Hey Rose." Lloyd said, and then paused, and frowned slightly.
"Are you okay? Are you sure you should be walking around already?" Lloyd asked, as he didn't figure that she could have healed so quickly.

"It's the weirdest thing...I woke up this morning completely healed!"

"Huh, that is weird." Lloyd said with a slight frown, but then smiled.
"But that's also a very good thing. Good to know you're okay again." Lloyd said.

Lloyd smiled, and hugged Rose back.
"So, what's up?" Lloyd asked, meaning aside from the sudden healing.

"Well, someone stole my socks..."

"That's weird." Lloyd said, and paused.
"I wonder how correct I would be if I guessed Shiza?"

Servo approaches Lloyd from behind, then hears the comment about the socks, disguises himself as Jared, and quietly sneaks away.  You know, I bet Carrie could use a hand with stuff.  I should go see what she's up to...and see if she truly is up to something, in the other sense of the phrase...good grief, I'm turning into E.R.I.N.

Suddenly, E.R.I.N.'s current droid form, a small data messenger unit, collides with Lloyd from behind.  At shoulder height.  About two seconds later, he realizes that model of droid does not have flight capability.  At the end of the hall from which E.R.I.N. was thrown, Lloyd sees a very angry Bailey.
"Bailey, Bailey!  Don't shoot the messenger!"  E.R.I.N. looks around frantically.  She spots Lloyd and displays a blinking arrow on her screen, pointing at him.  "It was his fault."  E.R.I.N. scurries away just in time to avoid being trampled by Bailey.  She begins beating Lloyd with a book of fairy tales.  A very heavy book of fairy tales.
"One...night!  One...night...alone...with... my daughter, that all I ask!  ALL...I...ASK!!!!!  Can't you idiots avoid putting the whole world in crisis for ONE...****ING...NIGHT?!?!?!"

OOC: See, this is why you contact allies with a report in the morning, instead of relying on the resident Unreliable Narrator/sidekick to tell the Mama Bear that her allies managed to get themselves attacked by The Empire.  Again.
(Bailey's mad that she's left with more of their mess to clean up after; she was hoping to come in, spend a few hours talking strategy, and go back home to Brianna.  Now she's got to pitch in with the cleanup, make sure everyone's alive, make sure the new arrivals aren't traitors sent to kidnap her daughter, etc, etc, etc...also, she hasn't had her coffee yet. )

Shiza walked over to Bailey, looked at her thoughtfully, and then dumped a bucket of confetti on her.

Servo swoops in and grabs Shiza before Bailey can club her in the head with the book.
"Yeah, I think that would be a bad idea, Shiza.  I wouldn't get between her and Lloyd right now, and I'm made of titanium.  Among other things."

Lloyd blinked,  as he attempted to back away from the angry Bailey.
"What?" Lloyd asked, as he couldn't exactly put two and two together with the rapid rush of information right at that moment.

*Shiza thinks for a minute, then climbs on top of Servo*

(Rose): "Did I...miss something?"

"I dunno; it'd help if I knew what was going on myself." Lloyd said, in between getting hit.

"Last night.  I was supposed to have a quiet evening with my daughter.  Instead, my commo board starts blinking wildly--and if I hadn't remembered to mute it when I got home and your shenanigans had disturbed Brianna, you'd have an excuse to have such an empty brain because there'd be a hole from a sniper round through it.  Instead of having a nice evening with my little girl, I worried half the night over whether I needed to leave her behind--again--to come help you idiots, or if it was too late and Brianna and I were about to be vaped.  I didn't get ONE WINK of sleep last night because of you, and Brianna almost didn't get to sleep because she could tell I was worried.  And all because you and your Rebel friends can't keep out of Remnant sight for ONE NIGHT.  In fact, where ARE the rest of you morons?"  Bailey drops the book on Lloyd's foot, grabs his shoulders, and starts shaking him wildly.  "WHERE ARE YOUR REBEL FRIENDS?!?!?  NOW!!!!!!!"

OOC: Green Elf Bailey needs food coffee, badly.

(Shiza): "Leo and Luna left early this morning. Nerdie Girl found a lead on Leo's memory, and Nerdie and boring two-dimensional team leader are analyzing the fighting style of bad guy mecha that almost made Melons go boom."

Meanwhile, Lloyd couldn't answer anything, since he was getting dizzy from being shaken so much.

Leo waved Luna over to where he was hiding by the huge grey building.

Bailey unceremoniously drops Lloyd, walks over, and shakes Shiza's hand.  "Thank you.  Now, I'm going to go get my morning coffee, and if anyone wants something from me they can [unprintable]."

OOC: Shiza can't tell the difference between IC and OOC.
