In addition to the normal penalties for double posts, all double posts will now be deleted instead of merged.
If you need a topic bumped, ask me, or any other staff member, or ask a friend to post a few words.
Those areas where a DP is permitted, eg your blog, a news column, a story in the creative corner, etc will not be deleted.
Members who have been here less than a month or two and may not know their way around will not have their posts deleted.
The reason for this is simple. A mod or admin has to do the same process to merge a post as you do to edit it, PLUS they must copy and paste, and then delete the second post.
It is a simple matter to EDIT your own post with the modify button.
Sadly some members have chosen to ignore this and even joke about it, so all must bear the consequences.
