Looks interesting. I really don't have any clue, since we don't know that much of LOU yet, but I'd assume Brickkeeper's pet, since it was mentioned.

I just started the quest today, even though I've had the module since it came out... More because I only just uploaded a LOU-related thing than anything else =P

If it does have something to do with that, then I'm stuck. The only thing I have that can do video (now) is my phone... and its not that great.

No, it's not part of the collection tab, instead the inventory. It seems we might just be able to make our own videos from clips from Networkers, like with the soundtrack for loops.

I do not think there is a connection between the video slot in the inventory, and LU.

They've got many mods checking LU's Creation Lab. AFAIK, there aren't many mods checking MLN, because there's nothing there for them to really mod.

What if videos will become something like 'cool creations', it has it's own section in the LEGO club site?

There's something That is evidence against that, the fact that this is in the inventory tab, instead of in the collections tab.

This is also true.  Still, it would be cool to be able to put your own vids on your page.

Yeah, but it would have need for the mods to watch every single vid all the way through...

They could put a limit on how often you can upload vids, as well as their length.

wrong i sent one of my pics i took and uploaded. the same way i did with a lot of other ones. not a ldd file included. it is a bionicle pic. i really don't know ???

"Pirate from Lego Universe Sets Sail for My Lego Network

Very soon, another personality from LEGO Universe will drop anchor on My LEGO Network. The newest Networker from the game is named Captain Jack Knife. The captain lives for the moment while leading his band of hearties (that’s pirate-speak for “friends�), the Black Seas Barracuda crew!

The Barracuda pirates once plundered the waters of LEGO Universe with pride and honor, but some time ago Captain Jack Knife’s blustery bravado got their ship stuck in a shady part of town! The captain displayed the courage of at least fifty men when the Barracuda crew was looting on the high seas, and he still swaggers even though nowadays he spends most of his time scheming to free his ship!

So far, it’s been a fiasco every time the pirates have taken a shot at getting their ship back out to sea. One big reason for the repeated failures is that Captain Jack Knife likes to keep his pirates happy with plenty of their favorite drink – root beer! What’s more, the captain’s crewmembers don’t pay him much mind if he calls them things like “lazy scalawag� while he’s lying in a hammock!

Music is one thing that will always rouse Captain Jack Knife from one of his frequent naps. The captain loves a tune, because he digs getting down and dancing—so much so that many of his close mates have learned to take cover when he starts shaking his booty!

Though he’s not the greatest dancer, Captain Jack Knife most definitely is good at counting treasure. The Barracuda pirates’ mountain of riches may not tower as high as it once did, but the captain still has a trove of lovely trinkets for trading!

Captain Jack Knife says, “Yar, me young hearties, ye can come an’ see me soon on My LEGO Network! Har har! Together we shall share root beer and talk o’ tradin’! Yar, ‘twill be a bigger blast than a bloomin’ boatload o’ cannons! Arrrr!!�"

So far, I can't get to Captain Jack Knife on MLN - but hopefully soon.

Sorry for off-topicness, but how did you sign up for the club email? I've gone to the page to register, entered my address, but when it says 'choose what you want to be subscribed to', only the LU newsletter appears!
It wont let me continue if I don't change settings on the page (the only setting being un/subscribe for the LU newsletter).
Did this happen to you?

I said yes.
Too bad he didn't say the names of the new networkers... or did he?

Wow I've missed a lot! I'm just happy that he sent out plastic pellets... because I was completely out after making the badge.

The first few times I was, but that time I wasn't. It didn't make a difference.

I signed up the day they put it out, and then they stopped sending me LU newsletters. Not that I was getting any... :-\

Hmmm... weird about the different email options that people have.

Jas - you're in Australia, right? Maybe that's why it's not showing the Lego Club option for you. I only suggest that because I can't see some stuff about Brickmaster because it is only available in the U.S. (I'm in Canada) - so maybe the Lego Club email is also geographically limited (though why it would be I don't know).

As for the Shop... maybe they are only making it available to people who can pay / adults. Parents can get upset about direct marketing to minors.

I just received the latest LU newsletter. The new networker is named *Spoiler*. I also have the new Plastic Module up. It makes 10 plastic per day plus 1 for every 5 clicks (max. harvest is 20).

Please do not reveal the new networker yet, I'll allow it after around a week. And definitely don't give out the code for the module. Which, BTW, is awesome. =P Much better than the old version.

I kind of wished it would have been smaller (2 blocks instead of 3) but the rate of return is much improved. 

I just hope this "Mini-Rank" is better than the Bionicle Rank which some folks were finishing in just 3-4 days and wasn't fully setup correctly.  This story sounds better to begin with hopefully it is well thought through and properly setup from the begining.

People were finishing early only because of the nature of the modules and in some cases because of duping, *coughpandocough* Me, who has been slightly more active on MLN, I got done in a week or two. Still before the update, but I had been gathering materials, and also got the stuff I needed to send minus the spear before I got the oath.

Sorry Blade.  :-[ Didn't see anything in the newsletter to suggest that anything other than the module code was secret.

The new module is cool, and... you said we could share the new networker in a week? I'm just asking because I'm the news person over at GS for The Lego Union.

JJ/Lynndr: I just wanted the stuff to remain secret for a little while, so it can be mysterious, but if you want to in other places(Minus the Module code), sure, but here I would like everything to stay secret for at least a week. But, the Module code stays secret even after that, forever. We're not having a repeat of the LCM badge =P

The Echo Code has been figured out by some people, but it isn't to be given out right yet. I don't even know if it should be given out once the event has passed.

Great job overcoming the My LEGO Network Challenge! Did I mention that Retuned Tuning Fork parts like the Endless Ohm and the Heliotropic Harpoon Handle are a bit tricky to come by? No? Well, in the known universe, only a ninja leader named Numb Chuck can chant the Endless Ohm. Don’t believe all that you may hear about Chuck! After all, science has proven that smashing bricks with mind power alone is very nearly close to impossible! Also, the last known holder of a Heliotropic Harpoon Handle is Captain Jack Knife of the Barracuda Pirates. The chances of Jack trading for the Handle are—let’s see here…Well, maybe you’ll catch him in a good mood! One last thing! Relations between the pirates and ninjas are, um, a bit awkward—openly hostile really. Good luck then! * will be thrilled if—I mean when you take him a Retuned Tuning Fork!

Like I wrote Lego when they used that adjective in the description of one of the Racers sets, the actual meaning of that word has no place in Lego. ;)

I would of thought that the mods would purposely try and deny posts mentioning the code, but I guess not.

They did until I emailed them about it. =P  They changed it in the next catalog.
And no worries.

Anyway, it just shows you that we (not you, since you actually went to an event, but the rest of us) can take a stand for the moral decision.  It's often the minority that has to.

That would be the intelligent thing to do.

With the knowledge that some MLNers view me as a role model (or a god, either way =P), I posted on LMB discouraging use of the code.  I also told Lego that they should deactivate the code once those who attended the Event get the badge, and to make future codes more obscure.

Hopefully it'll get through. ::)
