It's a nice game... but I hate my Glitch of reset-ey-ness.
It prevents me from getting anywhere at all, and all of my progress: Gone.

Hmm... That's a weird glitch. =/

It isn't happening now.
At long last.
But now, I have to fight for so mnay lost battles(not literally, but I mean I lost the progress)

Now that my progress is saved again, I'm doing two Glatorian at a time.
I just got Gresh to Veteran Tarix and Skrall to Malum or Strakk.... again.
I'm gonna be a bit more careful now... I've had a bit more experience.

PS. Talk to Metus as Strakk and ask him about Strakk.

Hey, don't go too far with Skrall, just in case it happens again =P

Alright... *tries to focus on Gresh but gets distracted by Spikeball*

Wait.. that's it! I was playing Spikeball, then I did the Skrall against malum battle. Then my progress resseted.
It MUST be the spikeball that did it. My advice? Don't do a Spikeball match then an Arena Match.

I played many Spikeball matches yesterday then arena matches and it didn't reset yesterday =/

Must've a been a onee-time thing... I 'm getting better at Spikeball I got a 'YOU WON' once and a 'DRAW'.
I wish it would give you an XP point to spend on a Glatorian of Your choice.

I beat the entire arena game using Gresh. BZP gets a special thanks :)

I spent most of my xp points on strength, so gresh now has 38 points on strength :P

That did let you win the matches more easily, didn't it?
I mostly upgrade Strength and Toughness.
Reasons:
Toughness=More resistance to attacks
Strength: You know...

Yeah, strength is pretty good to upgrade. I also upgraded toughness, but I don't use the recover that much, and the Thornax is too easy to dodge, so those are kinda useless to upgrade...

It's agility that upgrades your recover... and Thornax can be useful... but only in the first few battles.
So Toughness and Strength are the things to upgrade.

I don't like this game that much. The view is terrible, I can't get lined up very well. It is really slow, too. As in 1-2 second delays between click and action. It's also kinda simple and easy. I haven't lost a game yet and it got so monotonous I simply quit.

Gold Tarix on Gresh. You'll be singing a different tune if you think it's easy ;)

I'd try it if I were patient enough. I can't stand clicking enter arena and waiting 5 seconds for it to click. May as well play Drones' Menace and not wait. :P

It does things very fast for me... man is Gold Gresh annoying. And Gold Skrall.
Perhaps it's your internet connection.

I play video games online multiplayer with no lag.

And are these video games console games, as in games you buy for the PC? Because Bink already said, "Don't compare them to console games, because you'll more than likely get disappointed" or so. And I don't get much lag, and I don't my connection's the fastest around. Sure, it could be faster, but it's an online game. MLN slows me down a bit.

Plus we rarely get 3D games on LEGO.com.
It's not a PS3 game or MMO(RP)G, don't expect that high quality from it.

Plus, it's one of the first fully 3D games, and utilizes a plugin that Lego hasn't exactly used before. Plus it's browser based for this version, and the site itself uses flash in parts, so that slows it down too.

Why not compare it to PC games? They are funner, so I'll play them instead. Simple :P

And LEGO doesn't really use Unity... but it was not made by LEGO. it was 'published' by LEGO, and made by 'Serious Games Interactive'.

Because it's a free online game that's hosted by a company that makes toys. And backlot was also Flash(Or was it Shockwave...). This isn't Flash.

That was all it took... besided Malum, it was one of the easiest battles I ever did.

Bash spacebar. A lot.It's an isometric angle, so you should get the picture of the actual controls...

Pretty much the only way to win SpikeBall =P
And if a Skrall gets it and the other Gresh is in front of him? Switch quickly.

Which you can do even when you don't have the ball by pressing x then jamming on Space. =P

I think while playing I seriously damage my Space key... =P

Same here, which is why I haven't played it for a while. I may need to switch the key while I play it =P

That would be helpful... why not make it a key you never use? Like.. uh.. wait, I use all of my keys.

Got any tips for beating Malum?

Just simply Heavy hit him when he gets close and then whack him.

... Tips... beating Malum.... *Laughs* Just get up close and bash him many times with your light attack.

That's what I always do.

Vorox is super easy to beat with Skrall... FIVE HITS. Heavy hits, that is.
And he's the boss for Skrall. ::)

i have beaten every glatorian and suddenly all my medals dissaperaed (most), all my glatorians go to the rookie level, and i still have every glatorain!!! :(

I know... and once the same thing happened to my stats... but only for five secs.

I beat Gold Tarix and Gold Malum with gresh, and am somewhere in the Silver League with...

I beat Golden League with Malum first, then got Gresh to the end of Gold league, earning quite a few awards along the way. Then, I decided I'd do the Spikeball awards. I crushed the Skrall in one match by 10-0. =P In one of the matches, my last one, I tried got to 9-0, with only a minute or so left to go, and tried for 10-0 again, and got within scoring distance, and shot just as the time ran out... The thing scored, and then started counting down, and just as I hit exit, it went "Go", and when I went back... Interestingly enough, even though I only had 8 wins at that time, then 9, I got the 10 win award, and it say to exit, so I can only assume it was a glitch, and when I hit exit, it treated it like I won again, and gave me the award. Pretty cool, but weird.

Are you saying to minimize it or close it?

No, I mean, get the timer to around one minute, get past the first Skrall, and shoot, if you've done it right, wait for it to hit the pole without it touching the ground, and it should start the "Ready, Set, GO!" stuff, which is when you hit exit, and when you get back to the char select screen, you should have a message saying you won pop up again. Of course, I only tried it the once...

Where can you exit Spikeball in the middle of a match? I've never been able to exit a spikeball in the middle of it...

No, I mean that the timer runs out as the spikeball's hitting the post, and behind the exit button notice, it's getting ready to start, and if you hit exit when it turns to go, you'll get back to the char select screen. The game's ended, but it thinks another had started because of the goal after the game was over. So, when you head back to the char select screen, it thinks you won again.

Wow... amazing glitch. That certainly helps players to get awards a little more quickly...

One problem of course, I only did it once.

I decided to win the match again, just to win it legitly though ;)

Oh, I found a good strategy while I was fighting my way to the top with Tarix, I found out the arena has boundaries(duh), and that there is a way to put them into a strategy. Move slowly to the back wall, making sure your opponent follows. When you get there, fight for a bit if you want, but try to turn so where you WERE is now where your opponent is trapped. If you're lucky, your opponent will just stand there instead of moving up or down, and you can just move in and out to attack him with light attacks before he attacks you back. You can get in like 3 or 4 or 5 attacks in a row in like this. I beat Gold Gresh with this method ^_^

I know... I managed to see all six crowds of Agori that way.
Although I'll probably use that strategy for my next battle with Tarix, since I'm working on him.

Gold Tarix with Strakk when working on the Sniper award is just about impossible >_< I get him down to around health level 3 and he defeats me >_>

That must suck... he was easy to beat with Gresh, Vorox and Skrall...
IMO, Gold Tarix and Gresh heal way too much. especially Tarix, who refills his health in like, 3 seconds.

And he does it so dang often. And as soon as I get close he backs up, or whacks me with his flick attack >_< And obviously Thornax doesn't work...

Thornax doesn't work? When he's healing, get quite a way away from him and shoot.
Make sure it's at full power... but if he avoids... then dang.
And his flick attack... annoying. What's a coincedence is that I was against Rookie Strakk with Tarix and his flick attack was quite a bit slower than when I was facing him.

No, that's the thing, even at full power it only takes off about a quarter-half his life bar, which he then proceeds to regenerate back >_>

That sucks then.
Gold Tarix must be hard to beat without lots of Toughness and Strength though... I beat him in 10 hits by upgrading those.

Gold?!  I'm still stuck on veteran Tarix!

I have beaten gold with 3 Glatorian... here's a tip: Upgrade Strength and toughness. Really helped me in Silver and Gold.

One prob, if you do that, you can't get all the awards, which is why I'm having so much trouble ;)

Then Facing Tarix on gold must Suck.
But after, you'll have the extreme easiness of Malum and Vorox!

Then I have to face Skrall, who I barely got by when I fought him last...

Skrall... oh yeah. He almost P'wned me when I faced him as Gresh... it took 3 heavy hits to get him down 1 life... and he regenerated his health in like 2 seconds... man... he was so hard. The good thing is that as Skrall, I don't have to face him.

I just got way better at Spikeball matches.
3 Macthes 1, 1 lost.
I play them very rarely... and this was after I had my progress wiped.
And on my 4th match and 3rd win, I won without the Skrall Shooting. It's really easy. Just mash Space a bazillion times. (I think I damaged my keyboard...)

I got 100% on Glatorian Arena today, but no BH Trap module still. =/

We were supposed to get it when we got the Agori Honor badge, Rank 5.
And.... there's no reward for getting 100%, is there? The Official Glatorian Arena topic on BZP is saying that you get an award for completing it 100%...

Nope, only the 45 awards you see. =/ And early BZP rumours said that you got the BH Trap from GA, so I guess that was a myth that's now busted too... =P

Then I guess completing 100% is not worth getting for me...

Because I wanted  A BH trap, but I still play it for the experience and to get better at combat games.

Well, it's looking like everyone who completed it early might not be getting it, but it's something good to try to complete, just to test yourself ;)

I've already failedat getting some of 'Focus on ___ and ___' awards then.

no. there are 4(or 6)  that kind of  medals. There is a possiblity of 12! that's why.

You've got to spend 15 points on one ability to get the firts few kinds of those badges, and 25 for the sedond one. Only 8 of 'em.

Tap the space bar rapidly all the way through. Get some practice, and you'll win eventually.

NO , NO, No, that won't work. when they launch yuo stnad in front of the other guys and they wil give the ball to you.

It does work. I have tried it millions of time, and it works.

With GA2 coming out soon, I'm gonna start spectulating that MN is the first chacracter you have.. How it will work, I don't know, but backflip, butt-kicking Fire tribe Glatorian and a new location, it sounds more promising than the first version.

I'm surprised nobody noticed it on the bottom of the Glatorian Arena icon or in the fun zone that an update was coming...

Yeah, I noticed it. I'm sure it says they're having a new arena for the game which is Vulcanus.

I wonder if you can use the normal Glatorian there...
Like once you have the Gold League completed with them you can take them to the New Location...
It may have ther Vehicle Glatorian/Agori in it, like you can talk to them like you could with normal Agori.

Really, most of the figths I have now are fast-paced.

After all, I did this is one match:

Stronius was about to heavy hit, I thornax Flipped. I went up to him and I blocked. I attacked him. He was going to quick attack him, so i side stepped. We both thornax flipped at the same time- I dodged,. he didn't.

Oh yeah and Glatoiran Fights now count as Legend Fights... 0_o

What does everybody think of GA3? I haven't tried it yet, though it sounds awesome and far better than GA2.

It's awesome. Lack of an awards system is slightly disappointing, but meh.

I've completed it with every character.

If there 3 more battles for 15 matches for each glatorian, I would be happier.


Oh yeah and Strakk's final fight is Ackar in Night Arena Magna... shoulda been Vulcanus, since the clip after was Strakk attacking Ackar after the fight in TLR. Or at least it was for me....

I played the game..... it was too slow.

You need everything closed but that, and it runs faster, or your computer is too slow to play it.

Sometimes it glitches up and doesn't load though.

It's not possible for me to close other things because I need to open the file in another folder to play it.

Yes... You can create a shortcut on the desktop.

But my father said too  many things oin my desktop will make th ecomputer run slower. I only have 8 things on my desktop. and 8 on the quick launch.

Wallpaper and special effects will make it run slow. I don't think icons would...

That's a tiny amount.  Definitely will not slow your computer down... it's the stuff INSIDE the icons, not the icons themselves.

oh, yes, I think that's what my fathe meant. But each Icon still stands a very very little part of memory. Little adds up into a lot.

1 or two kb is a lot? I think that's the filesize of an icon... It's just a sprite image. ;)

1000 Bytes=1 KiloByte.
1000 Kilobytes=1 Megabyte.
1000 Megabytes=1 Gigabyte.

From what MTM said, I'd assume at minimum, an icon is like 500 bytes. And as most computers come with at least 2 Gigabytes nowadays... Even if the icons did take up space, it'd be a very small fraction of it. ;)

Yeah, none of those were made by Sim unless he has a different name on BZP and has an account there, but there's another site that, IMO, is very complete. I don't have the URL at this moment, but I know Herochild has it, and it was made by a few members on BZP. And that one, I think, was made by Gatanui, but don't quote me on it.

VNOG, yes it has a save function if you download the 'save' version.
MNOG II, yes it is also included.

When somebody have questions, just ask at the MLN BLOG (link is in my signature), the owner Gatanui checks the blog everyday and is been able to answer all your questions.

Yep, that's correct.

For VNOG you need the Flash 9 Debugger to play.

It has most of the games is what I'm saying. And from what I know, yes, it should have those games; I think the only one that may not be on there is Matoran Escape, depending on if the files were ever obtained and such.

The archvies are gone though; there are no more Kanoka points... The MLN update a couple years ago made sure of that. Heck; none of the old games can be accessed anymore.

Not late 2008. 2009. I remember after hearing that the archives were going down, that I set a mission to complete VNOG without using the more powerful Weapons.  And I did do it, before they got took down.

Sad I never completed MNOG II, Matoran Escape, Piraka Attack, or island Assault. The 2006 games seemed to be the only games I never completed....  I really wish Rhotuka Spinner Challenge still existed...
