Title: Pokemon: Red/Green/Blue Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on May 01, 2009, 02:34:59 pm I was thinking earlier when reviewing the stuff about things like the three legendary birds(Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres) being in Platinum, which happens around the middle or so when the Red Gyarados appears in G/S/C, that this would explain where the birds went from R/G/B to G/S/C... So, I thought, "Why not try and make a way to explain more about that?" I was gonna make a pun, but decided against it for the viewers' sake =P
Pokemon: Red Version(Chapter 1) *Beep, beep, beep!* A boy of around 11 groaned, and reached for his clock, and shut the alarm off, and looked at the time. 6:30? Gaaah... The boy groaned, and got up and rubbed his black messy hair, before quickly changing, and put his hat on backwards, and looked in the mirror. Hmm... The boy thought, and shrugged, picking up his backpack, and checked his PC for a sec. One new item received. The PC read, and the boy checked it, and found a 'Potion' in it. Sweet. The boy thought, and withdrew it, and placed it in his backpack, and then walked downstairs, and headed for the door. "Red!" A voice called, and the boy stopped, and turned around. "Professor Oak was looking for you, Red, I think he's at his lab, so you should hurry there." Red, the boy, nodded, and turned back to the door. "Okay mom, see ya!" Red said, as he walked out the door, and looked around the town. It was known as Pallet Town, and didn't have very many buildings, but did have the Oak Pokemon Lab in it, which Red started to walk to, and then walked inside, and looked around. There was only a few people in there right now, but among those was... "Hmph, you're looking for Professor Oak? He's not here." Said a boy of around the same age with brownish hair. "Daaang... You don't happen to know where he went, do you?" Red asked, and the boy looked at him. "No, for all I know he could be out of town, or something." The boy said, and Red sighed, and walked back out of the lab, and looked around, and then saw a piece of tall grass leading out of the town, which Red started to walk up to. "No, don't go into the tall grass!" Called out voice that made Red stop and turn around, and he saw Professor Oak run up to him. "It's dangerous, wild Pokemon could attack, you need your own Pokemon to be safe." Oak said, and thought for a second. "Here, come with me, I have an idea." Oak said, and walked towards his lab, and Red followed him, and when he walked in, he walked up to Oak, and noticed the other boy was there too. "Hey, Gramps, what's the deal of disappearing like that?" The boy asked, and Oak thought for a second. "Green? Oh, that's right, I asked you here too." Oak said, and turned back to Red. "Here, on the table are three Pokeballs, you can choose one of them." "What about me?" Green asked, as Oak turned to him. "You can choose yours afterwards." Oak said, as Red went up to a Pokeball, and grabbed it. "Ah, so you choose Bulbasaur huh, that's a good Pokemon." Oak said, as Red released it, and Green went up and grabbed a Pokeball on the far right, and let it out of it's Pokeball, a red lizard-like creature. "C'mon, let's see what our Pokemon are like. Charmander against Bulbasaur." Green said, as he told his Charmander to use scratch on Bulbasaur, which hit, though Bulbasaur didn't faint. "Ah, Green, pushy as always. Red, you haven't had a Pokemon battle before, have you? Your goal is to faint your opponent's Pokemon by getting it to 0 HP by telling your Pokemon what attacks to use. You can use items on your Pokemon to heal them and such too." Oak said, as Red wondered what kind of attacks Bulbasaur might have. "Uh... Tackle?" Red half-commanded, half-asked Bulbasaur, as Bulbasaur tackled Charmander, landing a critical hit, which took out around half of Charmander's health, as Charmander used another scratch on Bulbasaur, though Bulbasaur barely missed it by dodging. "Tackle again!" Red called out, kinda not sure of what other moves Bulbasaur had in the first place. Bulbasaur rushed Charmander again, and landed another hit, this time leaving only a quarter of Charmander's health left, as Charmander growled, and Bulbasaur reeled for a second. "Huh?" Red asked, and Oak frowned. "Growl reduces your Pokemon's attack slightly." Oak explained, as Red looked back at the battle. "Tackle, one more time!" Red called out, as Bulbasaur tackled Charmander again, and this time knocked the Charmander back, and knocking it out. "Hmph, I can't believe it! I chose the wrong Pokemon." Green said, recalling Charmander, as he walked toward the exit. "See ya." He said to them, as he ran out the door. Red then blinked, and recalled his Bulbasaur as well, and walked out the door... To be continued! I think I'll have each version cover around a third of the current story. Now, you know how people have been theorizing when Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald happens...? I think the happening at the same time theory is the best, and will try to incorporate it into the story eventually, maybe even focusing on the protagonists in those games. This'll also be based off both the games and Pokemon Adventures/Special, so, I may just include all the Pokemon in the versions. Also, it won't flip over to the R/S/E stuff until the end of this, and will only focus on the non-G/S/C Pokemon, since everyone's supposed to be surprised that there around 250 or so Pokemon then =P Title: Re: Pokemon: Red/Green/Blue Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on October 13, 2009, 03:45:28 pm Topic Closed.
