My LEGO Nexus Organization

Cartoon Network Enterprises and The LEGO Group have struck their first ever product-development deal in bringing a line of construction toys based on the popular animated series Ben 10: Alien Force.

The toy line will feature never-before-seen LEGO elements and what the company calls “a new twist” on classic LEGO.

“Over the past four years, Ben 10 has established itself as a global brand that continues to expand and thrive in different categories and markets,” said Christina Miller, vice president, Cartoon Network Enterprises.“ Expanding this relationship with LEGO, the leading construction toy brand, is an exciting opportunity for Ben 10 that will continue to build towards years of future success at retail.”

The LEGO Ben 10: Alien Force line is scheduled to launch in the construction toy aisles in the U.S. in spring 2010, and will roll out in additional territories thereafter

I read somwhere that these wont be exactly a LEGO line. ;) But something different as mentioned in the article. (Bionicle for example)

The shows from the original are pretty horrible to me, never watched Alien Force...

WHAT? How could you do this LEGO? First Disney, now... Ben 10? I just hope the classic themes like BIONICLE, City, Space, Power Miners and Agents don't go too soon...

Does anyone know what it'll be like now though? Who knows, they could surprise us and it'll be epicly awesome. And might I remind you that with Disney you get Prince of Persia sets. ;)

Halo isn't for kids, if you remember. And don't say that kids play it, it's still rated M, and they're not about to advertise stuff like that.

What I want them to make something next though, is Megaman Star Force, the Finalize forms of SF3 would be epic.

Do you know how the sets will turn out? And as Bink said, you guys forget who they're catering to, plus tons of merchandise in stores already kinda says they'll do well, not they'll fail. You should probably give it a chance, and if anything, they'll more than likely have good MOCing parts, which, while I don't mind the decision, would be the only reason I personally would get them, since I'm staying with Bionicle and such if anything for new sets.

I never watch that show, even though I used to watch it before, but I only watched a few episodes and that's it. Now I recall back into the past, and boy that show was pretty corny.

you know, now that I think back to the 2 or 3 episodes I've seen, they probably are going to try and do this like Galidor.  If they do it as minifigs, it'll probably be awesome (if you're a Star Wars/Star Trek fan like me who is always on the lookout for peices I can use to MOC aliens); if they do it Galidor style, it'll not only make for terrible sets, the series will bomb.  Badly.

NO! NOT GALIDOR!!!!!!! though some of the bionicle mocs i've seen w/ galidor parts have been pretty cool.......

You know, how 'bout we actually wait for pics before we bash the sets 'til they're nothing? >> And Galidor was cool, at least the game, and while the sets could've been better if they had more actual things to build, they were good. And had good pieces to use in other stuff.

I didn't like Galidor. Wasn't it a TV series too? If they have a set with just a minifig alien in it I may give it a chance. For MOCs and combining with Space Police 3 sets.
