It's that time of the month again, actually a few days late, but meh. Anyway, this time we're spicing it up.

My vote goes to Nwj. Sure, he doesn't often show up, but he made this place. =P

I vote for Rakoua. I mean, he's done a great job the last few months and he deserves it. Plus he brought me here, and the place probably wouldn't have been the same if I hadn't decided to follow the link and join =) Plus he's been passed up the last few months, so I think this'll be his month this month.

How about you just make a poll, lock it, then vote every time someone posts?

I vote for B43enjami7n. He's helped me by giving clicks, letting me co-run his shop and other things. I would vote Rakoua, as he told me about MLNO, but I can only vote once...

I DO NOT like the idea of a public vote one bit!!!

Why not? People may have been getting featured just because they were popular or something. Look at Rakoua, he has been nominated for months now, and hasn't yet won, or Nwj, who made the site in the first place and hasn't won yet. Granted, if he were more active it'd help, but name one reason why voting through posts is any worse than having no reason to other than the fact you want to?

Yeah, it kinda makes you think about who you want to vote for, since it'd be silly to just say "I vote for Nwj."

Well, even if I agree that voting shouldn't HAVE to be public, I'd probably end up posting saying I vote for Jas765, so voting this way doesn't bother me.

I can see that it would bother some people, as they may not wish to give away who they voted for. Also, someone could have a reason to vote for someone, but also not wish to publicly state it so.

Anywho, I vote for Jas(as I already said) because he is a good friend, great banner maker, and I feel that he has contributed to the forum through skin making and making the forum more enjoyable(even if I'm never on when he's on...)

Here in America we FOUGHT for the right to a private vote. It is NO ONE's business who I vote for, and that's the bottom line.

MsRR: This way is trying to make it fair so people actually have a reason to vote instead of because they're popular. Tell me one way how the polls could work without people voting for no reason or something.

I vote for njw345 Because he made this site for Lego enthusiasts and we all wouldn't have met without him....

I vote for Jas due to his exceptional graphic artistry that he shares so freely on this site. I can clearly recall the void left when CRX had to close his active graphics shop and Jas has capably (though in a different style) filled a very necessary role on this site in both personal avatars and signatures as well as images for the RPG.

[An aside: While I do not normally discuss my voting patterns publicly, the FMotM is not quite on the same level as a political ballot.]

Maverick Hang-Out Zone. It was for an old DRC team, but was opened to everyone last year to join. Has a good RPG and a few good Strategy games. =)
