Title: Featured Member: August Nominations Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on July 01, 2009, 09:03:43 am Okay, it's that time again, time to put in your nominations for Featured Member of the Month! Please read the rules for this carefully, as there'll've been a few changes after some things got pointed out during the last poll session.
Rules: You can't nominate yourself. The person who you nominate must be active and have over 50 posts here. You can only nominate someone who hasn't won in a year, for example, if someone won July 2008, you can nominate them again in July 2009. Please don't multi nominate, because there's no need to really... If someone has a nomination, they're in. You have to give a very good reason to nominate someone, as we will be switching back to the normal poll method, as that seems to have won by a landslide in it's own poll. /Edit to the above: Have two solid reasons to nominate someone. "They've been a good friend" doesn't count. He's done loads for the forum, and deserves something for what he's done. Also, I know he's invited people to the forum, helping it to grow (including me).

The young man I'd like to nominate easily meats the qualifying standards with over 700 posts. To my delight, he joined here back in early November of last year. Like most of us, he had a slow start until he got used to the feel of the forum. He started a little shop and has since become pretty succesfull in trading with others here and always keeps his word. Though some of his posts are a little hard to understand, he makes them and always replies to his mails. These are just a couple of reasons, I have more. When you read his posts, it's not hard to figure out that he is one of many here who gets excited and shows a great deal of enthusiasm for this place and with his LEGO. That means everything here, for without this type of person, MLNO would fail. Though being a good friend who has helped me many times and vice-versa, doesn't qualify, I'm saying it anyway. I'm saving this for last, he is also one of the finest LEGO modelers I've ever come across and when you ask him for something, he always goes out of his way to help you.
