Sweet. I'll have to play it when I get my new hard drive, because even GA2 is slow, and it's probably because of me streaming my browser from my MP3 player... So I doubt another Unity game would be any faster. ;)

Nice find man! I was JUST about to post this when I saw yours! lol!!! I got to level 3......and then my computer took a dump  >:( ah well!

I;ve beat levels 1,2,3 and 4 so far but it says that 3 is still new and whenever I 'unlock' 5 and 6 it says 3 is still new and no now levels.

Anyone else have this glitch?

Yah it wouldnt let me save mine.......might be my internet though.........although I checked the signal and it was pretty strong.......meh.....I dunno.......Were you able to use the force?

LEGO Star Wars: The Quest for R2-D2 game now available for play online

A new LEGO Star Wars game is out today, and best of all it's free and can be played online now. LEGO Star Wars: The Quest for R2-D2 has been created by game developer Three Melons for LEGO. It's a free to play online web game. A version of it was released earlier in May this year, but today's release features much more. It feels far from being just a browser based game. Using Flash and the free Unity Web Player plug-in, you can really enjoy this LEGO game. You can play it full screen without any other intrusions on your desktop or display. You're also playing with, or against, a world of players using a global scoring system.

To save your score, get achievements, and participate in the galactic conquest, you'll need to create a LEGO ID. If you don't have one, you will be guided through the steps on quickly setting it up. You'll want to register to get on the leaderboards as well! You can select from two characters to begin with, which include Anakin Skywalker (Republicans) and Asajj Ventress (Separatists). Finding Platinum Bricks during gameplay allows you to upgrade your character.

LEGO Star Wars: The Quest for R2-D2 keeps track of how many Republicans and how many Separatists have completed the missions. Republicans are currently in the lead, so catch up Separatists! There's a limited time to participate in the battles, so check it out soon and fight for your side. Whether you are part of the Republicans or Separatists, get playing now and determine the fate of the galaxy. It's a must play and won't cost you a cent.

Ok, this game WILL NOT SAVE. I tried playing not signed in, then signing in, and it wouldn't save. Any ideas why?

It's also one of the best game son LEGO.com IMO. The two unity-made games they have, IMO, are the better games.

Also, anyone competed it yet? And has anyone found a 'platinum brick' yet?

Besides, I don;t care if mine saved or not, I had that glitch...

Saves for me. .. Or at least while it's logged in, haven't tried logged out.

Does the score stuff work for you though? The score for myself alone does, but other than that...

On a Mac it works fine for me. On Vista it's glitchy.

Yeah, I've found 7 or 8 so far, I think there's one on every level.

No, not every level. The most I've found is 11 or 12.
