My LEGO Nexus Organization

The year is 2537, 18 years before the events of the Halo Series. You are stationed as a UNSC (United Nations Space Command) marine on the colony of New Harmony. All is going well until one day you look up in the sky to see a massive purplish Covenant space ship appears in the sky above you. You try to run over to your aquad but a crashing alien dropship crashes in front of you. Several Elites being to walk out followed by several grunts. You grab your gun out and aim it. As a marine you are prepared to do what you've been taught. As we all know, you're on your own now.

Sergeant Indy, reporting for duty, sir! My squad, excluding the radio men, got destroyed by the covenant. We were... brutally ambushed. Thanks to my radio men, though, we got out only with a broken arm.

*Static* this is........ Private...... O'Brien to Cormic *static*.............. I'm in the ditch some 50 meters from you. I have an overturned Warthog and several wounded marines. I need some help now.

*Static slowly goes off, and then I hear nothing* *I hop up* Men, we have some covenant to get back for. Huh. Gear up. We've also got one of our OWN to save.

Move out! *4 warthogs go off, looking for you in the deep, dark sky of the night*

*Private O'Brien and two other marines open fire on the overwhelming covenant forces. One of the marines is killed by three shots from a needler to his chest. Just as an Elite walks up to stab O'Brien a warthog jumps over from above killing the elite.*

O'Brien: Thanks I owe you one!
Cormic: No problem.
Marine #1: Aww Cormic we got a problem.
*A huge ball of plasma form a faraway wraith destroys one of the warthogs*
ODST #1: Sergeant we got Covenant Artillery and lots of it!

Cormic: Move, we gotta get O'Brien OUTTA here! All available ODST units (excluding medics), attack at the far right side of the artillery with Scorpions n' Gauss'!
Marine Commander #1: Yes sir!
Marines: *all get loaded up, and head toward artillery*

*Two medics pick up O'Brien and the rest of the wounded and move towards an open field*

Medic #1: I've called for extraction for the wounded. Pelican should be here any minute,
Pelican Pilot: This is Echo 420, I am en route to your location. Stay put as long as possible.
Marine Segeant: Perez, Hudson, stay with the wounded. Me and cormic will head up towards the city and take out any artillery. You two stay and make sure no one gets the wounded.
Perez: Yes sir!
Hudson: Yes sir!

*Three pelicans appear in the horizon heading towards the group of soldiers. Two drop off Gauss Warthogs and the other one drops a tank. Thw to fly off while one stays for evac. The medics carry the wounded toward the pelican when a sqaud of Banshees flies over.*
Perez: Banshees! Hit the deck!
Pilot: I'm losing her.
*Pelican spins out of control crashing into a group of trees*

*My squad hears a huge blast coming from the nearby field*
Cormic: Men, send out a scout warthog to check out what is going on and make sure the private, sergeant, and pilot's OK.
Marine Scouts: Yes sir! *They hop into warthog and ride off into the field*

30 Seconds Later...


Cormic (in the middle of a lecture): ...then, we must move out toward the left of the field to where we--*Just then, a artillery shot hits the scout warthog, killing both of the scouts*
Cormic: Men, full suppress attack on the artillery... NOW! Move, move, move! *All scorpions, warthogs, and bazooka men fire at the artillery*

*Medic lays down the wounded*
Medic: I'll stay here with the wounded you two look for any survivors in the pelican.
Perez: Hudson, come on we need to find that pelican.
*The two marines head out*

Meanwhile a transmission from the Covenant occupied city comes in.
Female Officer: This is the New Harmony miltia we ned to get these civilians out of here. Requesting back up now!
Marine: Negative, Ma'am we gotta take out these wraiths first.

Meanwhile...

*Scorpions, Gauss Warthogs, and USNC soldiers shoot at the artillery, wiping out a few tanks, though, with a price*
Cormic: We have an officer down! Requesting backup! We need--gah, oh my... *zzz-ch-zeet-ch-ch-ch: radio goes out*

*a few seconds later, a huge purple blast covers the sky*
Marine Medic: It looks like we've lost our main defense from the artillery.
Marine Medic 2: We're doomed. Everything, lost. We need to... retreat.

*Dozens of marines run under heavy fire from the covenant*
Marine 1: Fall back, head for the rally point in the fields.
Marine 2: I got a soldier down
Marine 3: Medic!
Marine 4: Wraith! Get some cover!

*suddenly, the wraith pulls up to the marine* *the marine then pulls his hands up, but sees a red blinking laser pointed right at the engine*

Marine 4: GET DOWN!!!

*the red laser then stops blinking and sets to be just red, until... BOOM* *the wraith gets obliterated by the spartan laser*

Cormic: Now, that's a laser. Though, instead of spartan laser, they should've named it something better. *drops laser*
Medic: Cormic, sir! *salutes to Indy* We gotta get out of here. We need someone to pick us up. Otherwise, we'll perish.

Marine 2: Navy isn't sending in anymore pelicans they've already lost to many down here. We're gonna have to move by foot.

Marine 5: You've got to be kidding me.

Marine 2: It's our only chance Corprol. I suggest we head up towards the city. It's our only chance.
*A large metal piece from a destroyed UNSC Cruiser high above the land falls*
Marine 2: Get some cover!

Medic: Sir's, our supplies are running too low. We don't have anything to eat or drink.
Marine 3: So, we have no chance here?!
Cormic: Medic, do you still have O'Brien? Or did the pelican get thru?

O'Brien: I'm here, sir. Pelican crashed a few hundred yards away. Navy............ isn't coming....in.
Medic 1: I'm losing him!
Medic 2: Get him some biofoam, he's got a punctured organ!

Random Marine: *goes off and gets sick from looking*
Cormic: That's what is inside of me? Sick. Get him bundeled up, NOW!
Medic: Yes sir! Get that foam on 'em!
Marine 3: I'll run and get it from the warthog.
 
Later on, the Marine goes off and runs to the warthog. But, just as ge gets to running back, a sword strikes him from the back, and tumbles to the ground...

* marine hears the sound of the sword.*
Marine: Corprol!
*No responce is heard*
Marine: Stay low!
*The other marines lower their heads as the Marine fires his Assualt rifle in a round direction in attempt to hit the elite*

Elite: *deactivates his sword, so no-one can see him*
Cormic: Stay low. Get your gili's on. Cock your weapons.
Marine 2: I can't SEE-AH! *a sniper shot shoots him bulls-eye in the helmet*
Marine: No! Medic, medic!!

Cormic: O'Brien, you still with us? You can't fall asleep. If you do, our mission will... fail.

Marine 1: Sir, it's to late. O'Brien is down. We need to follow his orders and advance into the city before we wind up like him.
Marine 2: Get in the remaining hogs and head up towards the city.
*The marines get into the warthogs as Corprol Locklear heads towards a small trench where several chairs and a radio stand are located.*
Locklear: I'll stay with the wounded.
*Locklear approaches the radio where he hears communications from the space battle*
Comms Officer: Sir, two Covenant destroyers in bound
Admiral: Charge up MAC rounds, fire all archer pods.
Comms Officer: Yes, sir.
*Sound of plasma fire*
Admiral: What the heck was that?
*Sirens go off*
Comms Officer: Plasma torpedos.
Admiral: Rodriquez, damamge report?
Crewman Rodriquez: Damage is minimal, it deactivated our MAC though.
Admiral: Master Sergeant, launch remaining Longswords. Get as close as you can to the shields and activate the SHIVAs.
Master Sergeant McDonald:Yes, admiral. *Over loudspeaker*: All pilots to the deck now.
Comms Officer: I got reports of an in system slipspace rupture.
Admiral: Ours?
Comms Officer: I don't know yet

Meanwhile, back on ground...

30 minutes of riding passes... the city is near.

Cormic: Get your guns ready. We have company. Load the gauss'.
Marine: Yes'ir! Fogath, get that scorpion ready!
Fogath: Yes, sir! *loads machine gun turret* What about the cannon?
Cormic: We have no ammo for it. Leave it be.
Langez: Cormic, sir, we have covenants! Orders?
Cormic: For O'Brien! FIRE! All men, go, go, go!

During the battle, spartan lasers, gauss', scorpions, and other heavy weapons destroy most of the town, though eliminating most of the covenants. For those who got away, they will be hunted down by the USNC.

Locklear (via battlenet): Goodwork Cormic, Any info on the civlian populace?
Perez: Most of the rest of the colony got away on freighters. Don't know 'bout the city Cormic's in though.

Radio:
Comms Officer: Admiral, we got a message from Gamma Station.
Admiral: Patch them through.
Comms Officer: Yes, sir.
Gamma Station: We have two UNSC Prowlers inbound to your fleet. They are here for a recon mission, we need you to protect them and allow for them to attach a tracking device on one of the Covenant cruisers..

Cormic: *chc-chh* This is Cormic. Officer?
Comms Officer: Ah yes, we were just talking about you. How did the battle go?
Cormic: Surpisingly well. Though, we lost 4/17 men. We plan to... *chc-chh*
Comms Officer: He must have gone out of range. Send more troops down there with 'em with the Gamma's purpose.
Gamma Station: We already have two prowlers, if you didn't here. But we'll send 'em more.

*a video link comes in and shows on a digital screen*
Cormic: Sorry for the losing of the signal. I forgot to mention something. O'Brien's... gone. I am... sorry, sir.

Just a heads up, I was reffering to the UNSC Prowler space craft.  ;)

Oh, OK. I thought you meant the land prowler. :P

Admiral: Cormic, I need you guys up on these ships, the Covenant are using landing craft on us. The MACs can't stop them, so we need all personell on board.

Cormic: Admiral, we need some type of transportation. Mind sending down a scout?
Marines: *get their gear ready*

Admiral: McDonald prep your pilots for VTOL.
Master Sergeant McDonald: Yes, sir. *over loudspeaker* I need 3 pelicans ready to go now.
*3 minutes later, the Pelicans depart from the bay. One is shot down before being able to reach the surface, killing it's crew.*

Marines: Yeah! We're saved! Now, to get out of the forsaken area!
Cormic: Don't get your hopes up too high. They still have a little ways to go before landing. Medic, get O'Brien's body. We're takin' him with us.
Medic: Yes'ir! Gregson, I need your assistance.

*Pelicans arrive*
Pilot: Everyone onboard now, before we get shot down.

Marines: *all get on board*
Cormic: *gets on board, and waits for further word*

Pilot: We're heading back up. Mount up.
Marine: How's the situation in space?
Pilot: 57 of ours versus 18 of theirs.
Marine 2: We must be kicking butt!
Pilot: Not at all. There plasma weaponry is unstoppable. The battle just started and we already lost the Austin, Virginia, and Prophecy.

Marine: Well, that's not our business. We were supposed to save O'Brien, but that didn't work out. *looks at the body covered in an American flag*
Cormic: Agreed. What's the purpose of us--
Pilot: Heads down; we're in the battle now.

*the Pelican starts to shake and shiver, knocking out some equipment as a shot flies by them*

Pilot: I need you to protect the inside of the Frigate Gaurdian's Wake from Covenant boarders.
Pilot 2: We are approaching it now.

Pilot: *comlink comes on* Men, keep your head down. It may get a little...
Marine: I hate it when they do that. They keep us guessing.
Cormic: Best to keep our heads down and gear up, like he said.
Marine: Yes'ir!

Pilot: Coming in on the Wake.
*Pelican appraoches a large frigate the on the side readUNSC Gaurdian's Wake.
Pilot: Covenant air inbound, brace for impact!
*Pelican crashlands in the ships bay knocking over crates.*

*the ship roles over a few times before landing downright*
Marine: Everyone alright?
Squad: Err.
Marine: Let's get going. Pilot, you there?
Cormic: *checks the necks of the pilots for a pulse* I can't find a pulse. Get a medic and a CPR team out here, pronto.

Marine: When was the last time we had a pilot who didn't crash a pelican....
Sergeant: Watch it marine!
*Sound of explosion Covenant boarding craft hitting the ship*
Comm Officer: All forces to northwest armory.

*the marines and Cormic head over to the area where the covenant boarded, and ready their weapons...*

Marine: What the--
Cormic: --keep your mouth shut. They are unloading something...
Marine: Like what?
Marine 2: It looks like--
Cormic: --a bomb. Men, secure your weapons. Wait for further orders.

Comm Officer: Fire Teams Alpha, Beta and Zulu en route to starboard hangerbay A-1, Fireteam Charlie en route to Northwest Armory. Cormic, reinforcements on the way. Stay put.
*Sound of more plasma fire*

Cormic: Alright. We'll be here.
Marine: Any updates...?

Marine Officer: I am Second Lt. Aahad Syed, currently the CO of these three fireteams here. I need all forces to make sure the covenant do not get their explosives onboard this ship. If you don't agree then get out of my way. Is that clear.
Marine: Yessir!
*Sound of more plasma fire, followed by the hangarbay door breaking open.*
Marine Officer: Allright here we go! Open fire on them!
Marine 2: Standard Covenant postion. Little guys in front big ones in back. Make sure they don't get close to us.

Marine: Grenade! *throws grenade at a grunt, making it fly out of the hanger and into space*
Cormic: Suppress fire! Now! *USNC Marines start shooting like mad at the elites*

Marine: We lost most of fireteam Alpha! There's to many of them!
Marine Officer: Shoot your gun, marine! Spend that tax payer money.
Marine 2: Take this! *Throws grenade, but gets killed by Plasma fire.*
Officer: Cormic, I got Covenant breaching the control room of ths ship. If they get there hands on the navigantional data, Humanity is done for. I'm heading up there, fight back the Covenant down here, I'll tkae of the rest my self.
*Cocks shotgun*

Cormic: Yes sir! *runs toward the control room, but encounters a hammer brute* *Cormic then silently pulls out a shotgun, aims for the back of the head and... poof* I'll be there ASAP.
Marine: We're gettin' killed down here! Stupid--*gets shot by plasma rifle, then flies back*
Marine 2: *gulp* GAH! *shoots down another elite*

Meanwhile...

Cormic: *nearing the control room, he spots the grunt guards, then turns toward them and eliminates them both with a pistol* Near... there... sir.

EDIT: I accidentally said 'elite' instead of 'brute...'

Elites don't use gravity hammers, Brutes do.  ;)
Marine Officer: Cormic, you're orders were to fend off the boarders. I'll take care of the navigation data.

WHOOPS! Didn't see that you posted...

Cormic: IDRC. ;D :P ROFL! :D (that really happened, JSYK. XD)
Marine: Err, we need backup!

Comms Officer: Fireteam India in bound, Cormic. ETA 5 minutes.

Cormic: Alright--*chh*--we have another problem: the main generator for the engines have been breached. If they take it out--*chh*--we'll have a prob--*chh*--lem.

Fireteam Alpha: We lost team Beta and team Zulu. We are being overun by enemy forces requesting change of objectivies.
Commander Syed: The Covenant have control of most of the ship. I am intiating the Cole Protocol. All Navigation data will be destroyed and remaining forces will retreat to the hangar. Is this understood?

I'm dearly sorry, LVR. I am leaving, and I won't be able to play with you anymore. :'( :'(
