Yeah, That's what I posted in the Pokemon topic saying the next gen was on the way. ;) Apparently Nintendo's getting a new graphics chip made or something that'll put the graphics capacity either at or close to Wii level or something, but it's currently just a rumour I think.

They just came out with the DSi though...

Exactly. Nintendo is always making improvements to their stuff though. I mean, the Gameboy had like 10 or 12 different forms.

This'll be like what the Game Boy Advance was to the Game Boy/Game Boy Colour probably. Not like the GBA to DS. A new version of a semi-older console. Also, take note that this is probably gonna be like 2010-2011 for Japan, and us the following year or so.

Huh. IGN says it's a huge new thing, whereas most other sources say it's just a slightly larger screen for the elderly. =/

You know, the DSi is an improvement on the DS. I mean, it doesn't really jump out at you at first, but over time, you see what a big improvement it is. Not to mention the new Flipnote Studio, which is pretty awesome IMO.

That's not the new DS. That's just an updated DSi. The one I'm talking about probably won't just have a bigger screen.

Anybody know if Nintendo came out with any kind of adapter for DS/DS Lite cords?

Adapter? You mean like the charger? =P

IDK. But it was revealed that a DSi Speak channel is comin' out sooner or later...

No, like a plug to put on the end of a DS charger so it'll work for a DS Lite. Because they have two different conecter things for some reason. >_<

Hmm, don't know. =/ Haven't really needed to check, because my DS is the same type as your falling-apart one. =P

I just wanna know, cause if I get a newer one, I'll need all new cords. And if I get a used one, God knows how long it'll last. =P

I'm pretty sure the cords come with it, because I got an extra DS charger with my DS.(GBA and DS chargers are the same 'til the Lite.)

Yeah, I know they come with a wall charger. However, I use 2 wall chargers and a car charger already. Don't really feel like getting a whole 'nother round of stuff. =P

Yeah, but that's all you really need, and you'd automatically get it with the system, so if you went for a Lite/i, then you'd have all you really need =P

Hmmm... That would be the only exception, but I don't use one anyway. =P

Keep, it'll be useful for road trips in the car.  :P

You mean replace. =P He's getting a Lite or so, and the old DS Chargers don't work for the Lite. =P

No, I'm considering it. I could still very well buy a used DS-old at a farmer's market somewhere. =P

They did, I have 2. (one for car charger, one for wall)

I got a DS Lite for my 18 year old bro. We have Brain Age 2, Mario Kart, Narnia: Prince Caspian, a ton of Megaman games, and one other I can't think of. It's red and black.

I recommend  www.Craigslist.org. It is all local sellers, and I have gotten some very good deals.

So...anyone here interested in Golden Sun DS? I never played the original, but I'm a big Nintendo RPGer and it looks pretty good in its E3 first look.

I may try it out when it's released, as I never played the first two...
