Title: Epic lego battle
Post by: korchi12 on November 11, 2009, 06:30:25 pm
Well this my first creation. It came out alright IMO. The camera I used wasn't to good though. Tell me what you think of them. Its a battle with the marines and germans as allies. The are fighting a russian terrorist group and a group of mercenaries they hired. they are fighting in bombed building.

Some things I would like to do to this though is get some more similar colored bricks.I had to use random colored ones :P

The battle overview.

BrickArms!
Awesome!

BTW, I do think this would work better if it was just the minifigs because the base is kinda weird with the discolorment, but the minifigs look awesome!

Lol I know right? I thought about it after I had posted it and the discolorment is pretty bad. Well for my next one I think Im gonna use just black or grey bricks. I have the zombies, marines and post-apoc troops ready :P

I think the minifigs are brilliant, where did you get that first mercenary?

It's really great to see your photos. Maybe you could make a stop-motion vid? ???

@Indy - Yeah I got a bunch.

@Maester - Yep, lol Im hoping to get some more tan bricks to make a dessert terrain.

@Sim - I could try. Im not that good at it and would need to research a bit to find out how.

@TBD - The first one on the right is a combinations of a dino attack d=body, Indy side pouch, and a head from the old school aquanauts I believe.

It's easy. Just have a camera. And each time you move a minifig further you take a new pic. Be sure to take the pic from the same place (Use something where you could put your camera on)

Oh. ok easy enough. I just have to keep the camera in the same place and need to rest it on something.

Nice work Korchi, especially for a first try, if you look back on my first LDD, it wasn't even close to how cool this is creation of yours.
