It is an honor to announce that Sim533 is our 500th member!

Some of you have been here since the early days, when activity was low and the forum's fate was uncertain. But look at MLNO now, a great forum, yes, it was a bumpy ride, but it is a great forum with five hundred members!

Welcome, Sim533, and congrats on being 500!

That it sure is... We've been through so much over the past 2 years(Might as well say it, as it's very close to being so). And hopefully we just keep on growing. Here's to another successful year this coming year. =)

Congratulations to the forum for having 500 members, and only up for two years.  That must be a great feeling for those that have been here for a while.  I hope to still be active after two years from now or sooner when we get our 1000th member.. imagine that! :)

He wasn't actually the 500th member, simply the 500th to actually log on and post. We are above 600 membercount, but only 500 or so have logged on an posted.

Incorrect. The only reason we're above 600 for the member IDs is because of deleted members like Red's old account and such. it doesn't matter if the members are logged in; half of them haven't even come back after registering by the looks of some of those 'Never' online members.

I did came back after registering... Maybe a reason that they don't come back is that they must wait that long... (up to 10 hours)

Yeah, but we're not on every second of the day, so some may have to wait, it's not our fault... =/

With how many admins are you that could accept or reject users?

All of the active admins are in the EST timezone. >_> Sure, some are on the 'night shift', but there's still some that pass by until I get on or so.

Are admins really doing night because there is nobody others. On Vanderdecken12 and my site. I'm doing the day (this and 10 hours ago) and vanderdecken12 doing (this and the 10 next hours). We are both admins... 

Remember, EST. You may be in a different Time Zone, and Dudebot and Rahkshi aren't always on. I say night shift because it's like 10 or 12 at night and they're still on. =P

yes, I live in another time zone. Actually you must find another good admin that don't live in that time zone. Maybe upgrade a mod...

Why do we have to promote an admin? It's almost impossible to have an admin on every minute of every day. While it'd be nice, one, it wouldn't truly be secure, and two, we'd have to find someone that could be on while none of the current admins are one that's actually good at using the ACP.

It's more important to have active mods. Admins can visit every day for certain periods of time to take care of spammers or other duties [and of course hang around the forums] but moderator activity is more important.

Not promote a admin, i mean moderator. That are the people that admins trust the most...

... I mean promote someone to an admin. And technically just because someone's a good mod, doesn't necessarily mean they'll be a good admin.

I know how to work the ACP, because I'm the techy admin at BrickLand.  It takes some time to get used to, but I know it inside out know :D
