Title: Star Hunter
Post by: KnightsFan on December 02, 2009, 03:38:02 pm
A third starfighter I made. Somehow, the name I chose sounds familiar so if I stole someone's name I'm sorry, it wasn't intentional.

This one started out quite small and, to be honest, really bad. Then one morning I spent a solid two hours messing around and finally came up with this. I flipped the direction it travels, tried about ten different wing configurations and finally re-used the engines seen on this model. (http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/KnightsFan/Legos/Deltawing/starship_right.jpg) I think it turned out quite nicely. :)

Anyway...

Front - In case you want the minifigs-eye view (http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/KnightsFan/Legos/StarHunter/front.jpg)
Back - A nice view of the flames and spoilers (don't ask me why a starship needs spoilers) (http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/KnightsFan/Legos/StarHunter/back.jpg)
Cockpit - nothing special here, just an empty cockpit. (http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/KnightsFan/Legos/StarHunter/cockpit.jpg)

Star Hunter is actually a Lego.com user's name.  He's amazing!

Oops...

Rak: I don't know, I don't have any Exo-Force sets. They may be the same pieces though.

MsRR: Thanks!

Sweet. They are EF clips, because I have one. Great color scheme too, but IMO the back should have some black on top.

EDIT: missed a letter in 'black'

Huh, learn something new every day :P

Thanks! Actually, I didn't even have a color scheme other then symmetry and I only had access to black and various shades of gray. Except for the flames and cockpit, of course.

Getting caught up here, time is a little freer during the holidays for me.

Wow KF, That's awesome, makes me wanna start opening more of my collection to find those extra special pieces. Awesome build man.
