Title: Official Unreleased Sets Topic Post by: Rakoua on December 09, 2009, 02:52:53 pm Welcome to the official unreleased sets topic!
Here, you can post images of unreleased sets and discuss them. However don't post leaked images, as they are ILLEGAL. Most leaked images either have a "Confidential" watermark sign on them or are blurry, so look for the pictures similar to those on LEGO.com. Any leaked images will be deleted! Title: Re: Official Unreleased Sets Topic Post by: uraw911 on December 09, 2009, 03:42:43 pm Um, it's not at S@H yet. It's on Brickset if that's what you mean.
Title: Re: Official Unreleased Sets Topic Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on December 09, 2009, 03:46:54 pm ... Could've sworn I saw that one up there earlier... Ah well...
Title: Re: Official Unreleased Sets Topic Post by: Shoots Da Kine on December 12, 2009, 01:59:28 pm Hey guys,
I was scanning a website that I use extremely often, and I came accross some really cool August 2010 pics for the news LEGO sets! Here are a few: (http://www.1000steine.com/brickset/images/3222-1.jpg) (http://www.1000steine.com/brickset/images/8092-1.jpg) (http://www.1000steine.com/brickset/images/3182-1.jpg) (http://www.1000steine.com/brickset/images/7591-1.jpg) (http://www.1000steine.com/brickset/images/7595-1.jpg) (http://www.1000steine.com/brickset/images/7688-1.jpg) I will post more pictures later. Right now, it needs to be NEWSIFIED. *NOTE: These aren't 'leaked' pictures. Enjoy! ;D ;) Title: Re: Official Unreleased Sets Topic Post by: Kritzelei on December 12, 2009, 02:05:16 pm Whoa... Zurg has Glatorian hands! And a Zamor blaster thing! I like the Sandspeeder and the Limo/Plane helicopter thing, but I really think LEGO should have improved the way they make LEGO Airports, as that one looks exactly the same as the last one except it has a slightly different colour scheme.
Title: Re: Official Unreleased Sets Topic Post by: Shoots Da Kine on December 12, 2009, 08:13:30 pm I know, I know. They're replacing BIONICLE with THAT!? :P
And yeah, I have to agree with the airports... they need a new design... Title: Re: Official Unreleased Sets Topic Post by: Ddude The Insane on December 12, 2009, 08:21:19 pm I HAVE JOY!! ;D
* is noticing Zurg* I HAVE WANT. I'm am being Toy Story diehard. Interesting pics you are having there. I am also liking the Star Wars one. =D Title: Re: Official Unreleased Sets Topic Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on December 13, 2009, 08:21:12 am I know, I know. They're replacing BIONICLE with THAT!? :P No they're not. ;) The new line's coming summer '10.And yeah, I have to agree with the airports... they need a new design... Also, these are the January sets if I'm not mistaken, so I'll just change the title to reflect that. ;) And some of those Toy Story sets look cool just for the unique pieces, or pieces in colours we haven't seen them in before.(... Is that a new green?) Can't really comment on the City sets, as I'm not really a City 'fan'. Title: Re: Official Unreleased Sets Topic Post by: Legodac on December 13, 2009, 08:28:37 am The green soldiers and jeep in Toy Story look awesome, can't wait. I remember as a kid I used to have those little green guys all over the place, not Lego of course. I think it's cool that they would make this, I'll be buying more then 1 for sure.
BTW, no offence to Indy, but perhaps this should have gone to The Official Unreleased Sets topic Title: Re: Official Unreleased Sets Topic Post by: Rakoua on December 13, 2009, 09:00:16 am Agreed with Legodac, merging with the unreleased sets topic!
Title: Re: Official Unreleased Sets Topic Post by: Kritzelei on December 13, 2009, 09:06:54 am Didn't know there was a topic for un-released sets! Are pictures from Brick/Toy Fair allowed? Or are these known as leaked?
Title: Re: Official Unreleased Sets Topic Post by: Rakoua on December 13, 2009, 09:08:02 am Sets are sent to BrickFair and Toy Fair and such by LEGO, so no, they aren't leaked.
Title: Re: Official Unreleased Sets Topic Post by: Kritzelei on December 13, 2009, 09:13:37 am OK, it's just on some pictures I've seen the boxes are marked Confidential.
Title: Re: Official Unreleased Sets Topic Post by: Legodac on December 13, 2009, 09:14:43 am I really like Rahkshi's review, although I do think it's a Jeep and not a Hummer. You see in Toy Story, the green Army guys are based on American soldiers from WWII, hummers weren't around till a few decades later.
Anyways, cool review nevertheless. The best part about the Army guys is that I've always wanted to build a Lego Diorama of WWII complete with my tank designes and now the toy story souldiers will make it complete. The best part is that it's still Lego, mix and match the figures, keep the helmets, use yellow faces, keep the torsoe and then individualize your foot soldiers by swapping legs, say brown, you would then have a more authentic looking U.S. Army guy. This is gonna be my "finest hour" Title: Re: Official Unreleased Sets Topic Post by: LordVaderRulez on December 13, 2009, 10:47:34 am The toy soldiers will come in handy if you can swith them around and I'm looking forward to more civilian city sets. I'm tired of lego city being an authortian place.
Title: Re: Official Unreleased Sets Topic Post by: Legodac on December 13, 2009, 11:15:58 am It wouldn't be Lego if you couldn't. I'd be very disapointed if they were all fixed figures, though I'm guessing they'll be interchangable. BTW, the hands could changed to, don't know though if I've ever tried to change arms.
Hey LVR, I'm not sure what you meant about your Lego City comment, could you elaborate? |
