All in all, I think it's safe to assume that coux is real.

Joking aside, this isn't good. Yet another duper in the Top 10s. I just don't get it. WHY DUPE?? It's breaking the ToU, a legal agreement between you and lego. And there's no benefit to it whatsoever. People could be using the time that they click themselves to do something useful. But they don't.

They want to be 'popular'. and he's disappeared since, but that isn't saying much as DT and Chase are currently featured in everything but the actual featured pages. >_<

The plastic pellet modules count as gallery modules. There are no factory equivalents.

Actually, I believe LEGO is working on a plan.. one that will effect both dupers and hackers.

Well it's about time. I think this problem has been going on for... a year? And LEGO has done NOTHING about it. Look at that pandobikini no-life tard. He's still there, isn't he? Isn't it OBVIOUS he dupes? There are hundreds of accounts that prove it, too!

Well, it seems that LEGO coudln't do anything. They didn't say what they will do to dupers.

They couldn't ban them? We as MLNO have found LOTS of dupers and have presented enough evidence for LEGO to know they were in fact duping. I'm pretty sure somewhere in the Terms of Service it makes duping against the rules.

Terms of Service. It's what you agree to abide to when you sign up for an account there.

Yeah he was hacked several months ago and hasn't gotten on since.  But there are plenty of others who resemble that description.

CRX: Pando was just up a little while ago... I doubt his story of being hacked. Especially since, when he claimed he was hacked, he was on here and bragged about reaching the end of the Bionicle rank quickly. ;)

Dupes= AgentTester, AgentTester1, and AgentTester2.  There might be more!

These are not only dupes, but the guy who made them hacked and stole  my old MSROWDY account, and the in next few days all the agent testers were rank 1 and on my FL.

I can't go into much detail, but mostly using methods other than simply guessing to get into an account.

My password was guessed, and it was before LEGO ID..  in fact LEGO ID was implemented early because of it. It had been intended to be implemented for LU.
It's a long story, and it is in the archives somewhere...

Anyway, duping is pretty awful, but lego can't really delete any, for fear of them deleting the wrong acounts.

Also, we've never had this before, but there is a difference between a Cracker and a hacker: a cracker just guesses your password. A Hacker forcefully gets your password without getting it.

Now, what would MLNO do if certain members here had dupe accounts?

Why do the dupers want to hack others? Creating accounts is already that evil. My aunt was rank 9 and she was hacked, now here account is somewhere .

What are dupers?

In MLN, users who have more than one account for their personal gain. For example, a user can have multiple accounts for the purposes of gaining clicks into the top ten. It goes against the terms of service, and is a form of cheating.

And LEGO also seems to do nothing about it.

They don't seem to take it seriously and I recall a rather ill-informed customer service reply indicating that Duping was okay. >_>

Duping is one of the main reasons I quit MLN. Now, I'm only on the LMBs, and rarely at that.  :-\

 Thanks Uraw, but did ya' delete him? I couldn't find him when I checked. I'm currently taking care of my cousin's page, and he told me to spend clicks on my page every day, but I don't think that that counts towards duping...

No, I don't think so, all my friends give me clicks if I let them go on MLN.

 Back when Tex and I both had a MLN page, we would give each other 50 clicks a day. Other than that, I may have discovered a new duper on the LMB.

Yeah, not that bad, it just feels crreepy.

 Hackers could also clear all of the clicks on your gallery, sticker, and factory modules, if they were really mean.

Or just use your account for their own needs. There's no limit to what they'd do really.

 Which brings us back to duping. Does it count as duping if you hack an account and use it to give yourself clicks?

It would be a form of duping in a way, but duping is creating an account of your own to click your own page.
