Title: Planet Cirraea Creatures Post by: B~T on March 19, 2010, 09:01:04 pm (http://i485.photobucket.com/albums/rr213/B_T_Energized/Project%20Cirraea/Kurrapedo.png)
Kurrapedo Despite its innocent appearance, it is one of the most ferocious animals on Cirraea. It is physically similar to today's cetaceans, but it is not one. It travels in packs to hunt down larger prey. It's torpedo shape helps it swim at high speeds. The ridge on its back helps it balance when swimming. The paddle tail provides it a good burst of speed. To obtain oxygen, it goes up to the surface and absorbs it through its skin. Like all the members of its sub-phylum, it has a waxy coating to prevent water loss, and in the ocean, it increases speed. More art from the GIMP. Comments/criticism welcome! Title: Re: Planet Cirraea Creatures Post by: MsRowdyRedhead on March 19, 2010, 10:38:22 pm That is amazing.

Rassapidia These creatures specialize in speed. It lives in groups, easily outrunning their predators. They can sometimes get caught though. They are omnivorous; sometimes they hunt or scavenge, sometimes they graze. The air pores are located on the shoulder instead of the head for more airflow when running. When mating, males pump blood into their crests. They also become aggressive, and a male will screech at its opponent for the right to mate. I hand drew this, and I use shading. This was actually drawn in the last day of 2009. I have more drawings, but this is the only one shaded so far. Comments/criticism welcome!
