Title: April Monthly Contest- Project Rebuild! Post by: mtmerrick on March 30, 2010, 03:13:57 pm After a long hiatus, monthly contests are back!
In this contest, entrants MOC, but unlike most MOCing contests, this one has a major restriction: you may only use one set. That's right one set you rebuild into something completely new. You may make as many entries as you like, but you may only use pieces from one set per entry. First place winner will be awarded 2 rep, and a custom award ((http://i630.photobucket.com/albums/uu25/JasMart/moctrophy.gif)), and 2nd and 3rd place will receive one rep. fill this out to enter: user name: entry name: set used: entry pic: secondary pic: (optional) gallery when public: (optional) MOC topic: (optional) Entries will be open for two weeks starting April 1st, and will be open for two weeks. I think I'll be adding to this all night, I only wish I was better at taking pictures...here's my submission... user name: legodac entry name: Cranes, Trains and OH, MLNO! set used: #10133, BNSF GP-38 Locomotive entry pic: The first picture, because it falls within the guidelines of the contest, although the third pic is my favourite because it shows where the model came from. secondary pic: sliding doors, movable boom, simulated line, and only 6 pieces left over. gallery when public: MOC pages, (when I find the time) MOC topic: It's a Train Crane, still used today this BNSF Rail Crane is capable of uprighting and hoisting a rolled over locomotive, but is usually tasked to changing twisted and worn out rails.
