Title: Pokémon Black/White Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on April 10, 2010, 06:16:01 pm Discuss the upcoming games here.
I want to have topics for at least most of the sets of games, or game if it's a third version, and when better than for Gen 5? ;) Title: Re: Pokémon Black/White Post by: . on April 29, 2010, 03:58:21 pm it seems pokemons are now being sort of racist D=
Title: Re: Pokémon Black/White Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on April 29, 2010, 04:01:10 pm *Facepalm* Why does everyone jump straight to that? It could also represent Good and evil; Light and dark; Day and Night... ;)
Title: Re: Pokémon Black/White Post by: Teddy3333 on April 29, 2010, 04:04:34 pm Racist....Pokemon are expensive. The trading cards rmadenchina.
Title: Re: Pokémon Black/White Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on April 29, 2010, 04:06:20 pm We're talking about the games, Teddy... Not the cards. ;)
Title: Re: Pokémon Black/White Post by: Teddy3333 on April 29, 2010, 04:07:05 pm Opsos, mi badd.
Title: Re: Pokémon Black/White Post by: Dudebot5000 on April 29, 2010, 04:08:07 pm Besides, think about it. What color did a TV set come in in the old days? I don't see anyone calling that racist. =P
...Racist TV coloring. Is that even possible? xD Title: Re: Pokémon Black/White Post by: Teddy3333 on April 29, 2010, 04:09:42 pm Yes. 'Cause All the people were black and white, and therefore racist.
Title: Re: Pokémon Black/White Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on April 29, 2010, 04:09:50 pm Green: Absolutely correct. =) In fact; I think that may be what the names were based off...
Title: Re: Pokémon Black/White Post by: Dudebot5000 on April 29, 2010, 04:10:41 pm We have no idea. =D
The games were just announced recently. They aren't gonna tell us the plot that quickly. =P Title: Re: Pokémon Black/White Post by: B~T on April 29, 2010, 04:11:09 pm If I see any racial jokes made in this topic, I will lock it. Not that there are any, but...
And the graphics for these games are quite interesting... Title: Re: Pokémon Black/White Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on April 29, 2010, 04:13:03 pm Do the titles "Black and White" represent any form of symbolism with respect to the storyline of the games? Likely not; as none of them have in the past, aside from being somewhat like the colour of the cover legends.Title: Re: Pokémon Black/White Post by: . on April 29, 2010, 06:05:45 pm i think that the "platinum" of this generation will be pokemons grey
Title: Re: Pokémon Black/White Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on April 29, 2010, 06:08:00 pm Yeah; me too. That seem to be the general speculation, and really, it makes sense. Black/White/Gray; all grayscale colours.
Title: Re: Pokémon Black/White Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on July 14, 2012, 08:38:02 pm Hehe; love it when I need to eat my words. As everyone has known for almost a year if not longer, I ate my words big time(In both ways); as Black and White were indeed mentioned multiple times; with it even being N's goal, in a way(Separating shades of gray, representing people and Pokemon interacting together, into Black and White).
And that there's Black 2 and White 2, instead of Gray. =P |
