South Padre is my favorite beach spot (when there's not a hurricane, otherwise, you want off the island) (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d3/Entrance_to_South_Padre_Island.jpg) You can only reach it by going on that bridge, and if it breaks there's no way off the island except by a ferry that only runs on weekends. (ask me how I know) There's also a funny rule for the island.
