My LEGO Nexus Organization

Ok, for like 3 days I could not log in. I finally do and apparently my GD account is gone and reset to Plotkin, all my private messages are gone, and so is my profile. Whats going on guys?

The forum got deleted; and just got restored yesterday. Someone hacked in and deleted everything.

The most recent backup was from May 2010, so that's where we are now.

Comments are currently broken, too.

Oh ok. I was like um what?

Ohh... right.
So,
1 - Any idea who it was (just some troll or sum'n)?
2 - Is it worth finding out?
3 - Is there any permanent damage? Well, 'cept losing a years worth of posts.
4 - Now I hope you've learnt a valuable lesson on backing up your work =P

SMF is responsible for backup of the forum as a whole.

No, actually, someone hacked his account and the Admin account. I was there when it got deleted. Evil, evil.

Well is that why I can't say anything on peoples pages or you know send messages.

As for the comments; that seems to be resulting in an error; but I haven't had a chance to test it yet.

Comments are not working for now...

How do I get to rank 6? I can't figure out how to get the licenses, or what to do with them. I have the ectrician's liscense, what do I do with it?

Mahri: This seems to be the most recent backup, so... The only way we may get everything back, is if everyone posts everything again.

As long as the forum stays united, MLNO will be able to get back on track.

 The hacker is still here. I just lost another 200+ PMs.

And since there's now no feasible way to gain 200+ PMs overnight, since happy mousing comments doesn't work anymore... =P

Disappointing, however. =/

The only areas that are really heartbreaking are creative corner and MA.
Especially creative corner. So much talent shared,  so much work gone.

Other stuff is disappointing, but I am pretty sure you can go forward without anything that is missing.

Well; as for me; I'll be recreating everything in time. Might actually get around to TML, but... I need to get a new list of names now. =P

Are you guys still recovering the data? Also I just realized, my new account has the same name, email, details as my old one, so... What would happen if you recovered it and put it back on the forum?

Ha, true :P the fourm possibly couldn't handle a time-paradox thing so easily. But are you still trying to recover the forum?

I am not in the loop on that anymore.

Ironically, neither am I. xP I haven't gotten a single update on the progress for quite some time; so I'm thinking we're gonna have to do it ourselves, as I kinda figured. =/
