Sometime in the future, Earth is ruled by an Evil Empire.
However, there are a group of Rebel fighting the Empire. No, this is not Star Wars.

The Glory of the Empire has fallen, and the Emperor is dead. But new threats arise, both in the form of the Imperial Remnant and the Queen of the Empire, and in the form of the mysterious Other.


Kora has been defeated, and the Imperial Remnant is gone. Now is the time to strike the final blow for Humanity's freedom...The Other awaits!

Bio: Shiza is....Shiza.  She is known to burst into song during stealth missions, tell long, rambling stories that have no relevance to what's going on, have arguments with herself, talk to imaginary zombie ponies, and speak in gibberish.
However, when the need arises, she is a excellent hand-to-hand fighter, and understands machines almost as well as Kora. She is also an incredible cook.

Appearance: Shiza has what is known as "boat light eyes", that is, her left eye is red and her right eye is green. She has short blonde hair in a messy ponytail, is rather short (5 feet exactly), and thin. Her clothes are always several sizes too big, and she is always smiling. (The smile often looks rather disturbing, especially since she rarely blinks).

Bio: The General of the Rebels. Harsh, strict, and is constantly picking on Rose (as a result of the Jell-O incident).

Mecha Appearance: Kora has recently overhauled the S.H.I.R.A to be an exact double of her.

Bio: Named for her rather eccentric personality, the Cloud Cuckoo Lander is Shiza's personal mecha. It was recently upgraded by Kora and Carrie.
Mecha Weapons: Laser Blasters, Rockets, confetti cannon, stuffed monkey launcher, Soul Energy Amplifier.
Mecha Appearance: Alternating Pink-and-Green stripes, with a skull-and-crossbones on one side and a penguin on the other. It is also covered with glitter. It is a relatively small mecha (45 feet).

Mecha Model: Shinigami MX-2
Bio: Leo's new mecha.
Appearance: Pitch black, but covered with small sparkly gems to resemble stars. It blends in well in space.
Weapons: Homing missiles, lasers, shield generator.

Mecha Model: Star Striker Queen
Bio: Luna's personal mecha.
Appearance: Golden, with spikes on the shoulders. Has visor instead of eyes.
Mecha Weapons: Giant electrified throwing stars, lasers.

Appearance: A rather generic looking mecha. She hasn't even painted it, preferring to spend her time modifying its weapons.

Bio: William Chargas was formerly the emperor, but the rebels defeated him and he only narrowly escaped. He has elected to assist the rebels rather than allow the Imperial Remnant to doom the planet.

Bio: General Adrian Tyrr is the Empire's youngest general ever. He is also renowned as a tactical genius. Thanks to Rose, he has switched sides to the Rebellion! He spends most of his free time flirting with Rose Hamilton.

Bio: The Emperor's personal mech.

Gender: Male.
Age: Late 30s-early 40s.
Appearance: Bartok is extremely tall and muscular. The bottom half of his face was blown off in a battle, so his face looks rather like Darth Malak's.
Bio: Captain Bartok is one of the best pilots in the Remnant. No rebel has ever survived a fight with him.
Faction: Imperial Remnant.

Mecha Model: Proto X0-727(S)
Bio: The only known Command-Type prototype Imperial Mech, the Proto X0-727(S) is incredibly fast, maneuverable, and packed with weapons. What's more, in testing, it withstood a direct hit from a nuclear missile without sustaining any damage at all.
Weapons: Flamethrowers, Lasers, Missiles, Harpoon.

Gender: Genderless.
Age: As old as the universe...
Appearance: A humanoid being. Pure white in colour, but it appears to be covered with transparent rainbows.
Bio: The Other is a being made of pure Soul Energy. It speaks with billions of different voices all at once.

Bio: Admiral Kiriam Zel is both ambitious and insane - a dangerous combination. He enjoys seeing people die.

Bio: The Kel-Aviron is one of the Empires four Battleships, their largest and most powerful ships. The Kel-Aviron is built for air combat, and can hold up to 500 aerial mechs.

Appearance: Average height, with long blonde hair and icy blue eyes. Wears a standard Imperial uniform.
Bio: Captain Silth is currently in command of the Kel-Terrakron, but hopes to one day be Empress.

Mecha Model: Imperial Subterranean Battleship: Kel-Terrakron
Bio: The Kel-Terrakron is one of the Empire's four Battleships, their largest and most powerful ships. The Kel-Terrakron is build to operate underground, and can dig a 10-mile tunnel in 20 minutes. It can carry up to 250 mechs.
Weapons: Missiles, super-fast spinning, whirlwind generator, impenetrable armour.

Gender: Female
Age: 29.
Appearance: Red hair, one blue eye, the other eye is covered by an eyepatch. Wears a sailor's uniform.
Bio: Captain Koss is in command of the Kel-Hydreigon. She has been known to execute her subordinates for the most minor mistake.
M.I.A., Believed dead, though there are rumours she escaped...

Mecha Model: Imperial Aquatic Battleship: Kel-Hydreigon.
Bio: The Kel-Hydreigon is the underwater member of the Empire's four Battleships. It can carry up to 500 Aqua-Mechs and can go all the way to the bottom of the ocean with no ill effects. It is designed to look like a shark.
Weapons: Missiles, lasers, shield generators, teeth.


Name: Lieutenant Gert Yourm
Gender: Male
Age: 27
Bio: Lieutenant Gert Yourm in in charge of the Imperial Deep-Sea Hanger where the Kel-Hydreigon docks. The base is at the bottom of the ocean, so it's a good thing Gert likes fish. He is in command of the Whirlpool Generator and the Tidal Wave Generator, as well as an extra 750 Aqua-Mechs.

Character Name: Lloyd Cardigan
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Bio: Lloyd has been a member of the Rebels for about a year. Lloyd had been involved in some incidents with the Empire, and was unsuccessful in each of his solo attempts. However, the Rebels found him, and after that, he was with them, and has been fighting alongside them since, aiming to undermine the Empire.
Faction: Rebels
Character Appearance: Lloyd has brown hair and grey eyes. Lloyd tends to have his hair be messy, however, he does comb it down if there is anything important that needs to be done. Lloyd's uniform is white with grey stripes, along with a green version of the Rebel/SHIRA insignia. His clothing otherwise depends, but tends to involve black and grey clothing of some sorts.


Mecha Model: Outlook
Mecha Weapons: Right Arm: Beam Saber(Stored on back), Left Arm: Energy Pistol(Stored on waist), Shoulders: Dual Rocket Launchers(Clip x9 for each shoulder)
Mecha Appearance: The Outlook is a black and grey humanoid model of Mech. It's head is styled like a full-head helmet, with two glowing eyes as where eyes would be on a normal head, and two strips on metal on either side of the Outlook's forehead, which span all the way to the back of it's head. The Outlook has a trio of jet boosters on each foot, for in case there is any need for hovering, or long-range jumping.

Mecha Model: Silencer RBN-003
Mecha Weapons: Twin beam sabers, twin laser guns, twin shoulder mounted rocket launchers(Holds x15 Rockets each)
Mecha Appearance: The mech's appearance was based heavily off the original Outlook, however, the differences that the Silencer has can be seen; as it looks kinda like it's been streamlined, aside from the helmet, which has seven spikes that point back toward the back of the mech.

Character Name: Carrie Metran
Gender: Female
Age: 20
Bio: Carrie has been keeping tabs on the war for the past few years. She's been working as a normal mechanic in the mean time, however, has been collecting metal, and studying different ways of creating Mechs. As a result, she has started making her own Mechs, for the small group of Rebels she assembled herself. They have been fighting their own personal fights, however, haven't joined up with the main group of rebels just yet, barely avoiding capture numerous times.
Faction: Rebels
Character Appearance: Carrie has shoulder-length blond hair and bluish green eyes. Carrie tends to wear white shirts with blue jeans, however, the fact that she's a mechanic can be easily seen, as Carrie tends to have oil stains on her shirt from fixing up mechs or vehicles. Carrie usually keeps a wrench handy along with a backpack, so that she can fix up stuff on the fly. Carrie is approximately 5 foot 9.

Mecha Section -
Mecha Model: CRN-000
Mecha Weapons: The mech has an oversized wrench that is used as a makeshift hammer or staff. This is it's only weapon, but is used very effectively.
Mecha Appearance: This Mech is based off the standard humanoid model, however, it is slightly shorter, as Carrie wanted to conserve metal for weapons or other mechs. However, this helps to allow it to maneuver better than if she had created the mech different. The eyes of the mechs that Carrie created glow, and also has a 'jewel' in the centre of the heads of the mech, which act as a backup power source of sorts. The glow for Carrie's mech is purple, which matches the purple and white colour scheme that her Mech has.

Character Name: Drake Flarigan
Gender: Male
Age: 22
Bio: Drake met up with Carrie about a year ago, after being on the run for a year before that. He had been partnered with a fellow rebel when he was on the run, but narrowly evaded capture then, when the two were ambushed and the rebel had been captured. It is unknown, however, who that rebel was. Carrie found Drake shortly after that, and that's when the secondary group of rebels slowly started to form. He also has been out of touch with his family for the last two years.
Faction: Rebels
Character Appearance: Drake has bright red hair, and deep green eyes. He tends to wear red and white clothing, and has an orange and white uniform with red stripes. Drake is approximately 6 foot 1.

Mecha Section -
Mecha Model: CRN-001 Flare
Mecha Weapons: A flamethrower. Yes, a flamethrower. Yes, Carrie gave him that 'are you crazy?' look too. But he insisted on it. He also has a Beam Saber for backup, but doesn't use it as much as the flamethrower. Because it's a flamethrower.
Mecha Appearance: The mech certainly suits Drake's joking ways, along with his other traits. It's got relatively good defenses, along with a unique paint job consisting mostly of flames for some odd reason. Otherwise, it's not too different from normal, aside from the fuel canister on the back of the mech. Drake had wanted it to be coloured red, but Patch had taken that, so he settled for it being coloured orange, and the Power Jewel and eyes glowing orange as well.

Character Name: Iris Kardania
Gender: Female
Age: 25
Bio: Iris has an enigmatic past. She claims she doesn't remember her past, however, she can be seen deep in thought at times. While she has been around the other rebels for a while, even they don't know much about her aside from what she's told them.
Faction: Rebels
Character Appearance: Iris has long brown hair and yellowish brown eyes. She tends to wear white or yellow clothing, including her uniform, which is pure white, with some black lines to show the seams. Iris is approximately 5 foot 8.

Mecha Section -
Mecha Model: CRN-002 Purifier
Mecha Weapons: The mech has a beam staff, that can extend a blade made out of a laser, so that the staff can be to slash out at people from a longer range. The Purifier also has a Beam Sword for use if needed.
Mecha Appearance: The mech is relatively normal, except for a set of wings it has, to allow aerial combat. The mech is pure white, and the Power Jewel and eyes glow pure light, not affected by any kind of colour.

Character Name: Patrick 'Patch' Bell.
Gender: Male
Age: 22
Bio: Patch and Barry are the most recent members to join, though Patch had a different story than most. He hadn't been on the run, and had simply been living a normal life, though secretly had been wanting to get involved with the Rebels, and help them in their fight. So, when Barry was being attacked by Empire Soldiers, Patch helped out Barry, as the Secondary Rebels arrived to help out. Patch has a laidback approach to things, however, and sometimes accidentally spaces out while thinking of things, or rambles on about things that don't matter, which brings him to odds with some members at times.
Faction: Rebels
Character Appearance: Patch wears a normal pair of glasses, and has brown hair, and gray eyes. He typically avoids formal clothing, but likes to wear orange clothes. His uniform is red and white, with some orange stripes.

Mecha Section -
Mecha Model: CRN-003 Cannon
Mecha Weapons: This Mech has exclusively cannons of some sort or another. The Mech has a Twin-barreled Laser Cannon that has to be used with two hands because of it's size, and two shoulder mounted rocket launchers. Technically those aren't 'cannons', but it's close enough in Patch's opinion.
Mecha Appearance: This mech is shorter than normal, however, makes up for that in bulk. Patch had wanted a normal sized mech, but Barry making his requests forced Carrie to have to slightly shrink the mech in order to have enough metal for all six Mechs. The Mech has a targeting visor so the weapons could have better accuracy... Something that Barry says should have been on his mech. The Cannon's eyes and Power Jewel are bright red that shine through the targeting visor, and is primarily red and white.

Character Name: Barry Weltam
Gender: Male
Age: 26
Bio: Barry had been on the run like everyone else for approximately two years before he met up with the secondary group of Rebels. Barry joined up at approximately the same time as Patch, however, he's quickly taken to attempting to giving orders, much to the dismay of Carrie, who sets him straight about the leadership of their group. Despite his seemingly uncaring attitude to things, he gets serious when in combat, especially when protecting people.
Faction: Rebels
Character Appearance: Barry tends to wear a targeting visor at times when outside his mech, which is a pair of 'glasses' that has only one set of lenses, and a frame that borders the entire lens. He has light brown hair and green eyes, and tends to wear blue clothing. His uniform is blue and white to reflect that.

Mecha Section -
Mecha Model: CRN-004 Ranger
Mecha Weapons: Like the CRN-005 , this has exclusively ranged weapons. It has Twin Beam Rifles, and a shoulder mounted grenade launcher on the left shoulder, and a shoulder mounted Rocket Launcher on the right that can hold up to 30 rockets, but can only fire one at a time, due to it's design. If needed, the Rocket Launcher could be wielded with both hands for greater accuracy.
Mecha Appearance: The mech is slightly taller than normal, but is also armoured more than most Mechs, as requested by Barry, however, it nearly cost Carrie all the spare metal she had on-hand. However, it worked out well, as the tradeoff allowed the mech to have fairly good defenses, however, it didn't affect it's maneuverability much. It's eyes and Power Jewel glow cyan blue, and the mech is coloured blue and white.



Username: Flipz
Character Name: Justin Kronos
Gender: Male
Age: 21
Bio: Growing up, Justin was the sort of kid who was obviously cereberal, but whose father pushed him to fulfill his own lost dreams.  (His father aspired to be a mech pilot in the Imperial forces, but lost a leg and an arm in an accident, making him worthless to the Empire except as a Public Relations agent.)  When Justin was just eight, his father forced him to enroll in the Imperial Academy.  Ironically, the harsh Imperial discipline gave him more freedom than his father ever had; unfortunately for the Empire, this initial taste of freedom just left him hungry for more.  Six years later, during a Rebel attack, Justin made his escape with his then-girlfriend, and he was presumed dead by the Empire.
Justin laid low for several years, making a living by selling the odd devices he made, but news of a crackdown on Rebels-delivered by his father, no less-convinced him to resurface and join the rebels for real.
Justin has likely sold various components to Carrie and Kora through third parties, but if they have ever met it was likely a very brief encounter.
Personality: Justin is a very reserved person, due in no small part to his father's constant criticism of emotion as, "a waste and a weakness."  That's not to say he's quiet; he simply keeps his emotions tightly under wraps, much like Spock from Star Trek.

But with lighter skin and a more golden-brown hair color.  Also, he wears the glove over the left hand at all times, and he will fight to the death to prevent anyone from removing it.  The glove contains a small magnetic energy manipulator that allows him to alter electromagnetic fields and electronic systems (i.e. force fields), but only at a relatively close range.  He is rarely seen without his robotic companion Servo, his mechanic's assistant.  Servo looks like a Magnezone with a robotic Hitmontop welded beneath, but not nearly as tough-looking (his weaponry and armor don't pop out until needed).  Servo "speaks" using a unique electronic language that only Justin can understand without electonic interpretation (i.e. a readout in a mech).


Mecha Model: JK-0 Quicksilver
Mecha Weapons: Power Gauntlet (basically a weaponized version of Justin's magnetic energy manipulator, left hand), wrist-mounted missile launcher (Pops out when needed, 2 missiles per shot, 8 in each hand), Repair Gauntlet (touch weapon; releases nanites into the target; these nanites can repair allied mechs or devour enemy mechs.  20 Charges, 4 charges will fully restore a disabled mech.)  Twin Beam Swords carried on back for backup.  Jump jets on "thighs".
Mecha Appearance: This mech is hidden in pieces at Justin's shop; he's put the various components together, but they have yet to be assembled.  When complete, the mech looks somewhat like a Golett coated in smooth, almost liquid-looking chrome covering, with cyan Tron Lines running along the limbs.  The hand weapons look like Iron Man's hand blasters.  The lines of this mech are impossibly smooth and sleek; this was a fantastically well-designed mech.

Mecha Section -
Mecha Model: CRN-005 Gunner
Mecha Weapons: Guns, guns, and more guns. Twin beam rifles, twin shoulder mounted laser cannons, and two beam guns on the upper legs.
Mecha Appearance: The Mecha looks fairly normal, however, it has been streamlined for quick movement while firing the beam weapons. It has not been painted yet, and the glows have not yet been set.

=Blade=

Username: Blade
Character Name: Ryan. Last name is not currently known.
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown, thought to be about 20 to 22.
Bio: Unknown.
Faction: Empire
Character Appearance: Ryan has dark brown hair, and tends to joke around with people, though is still cautious at times, and always tells that that's better than getting killed. Ryan's uniform is black with purple stripes, along with a fragmented-like SHIRA symbol, due to certain circumstances that will be revealed in time.

Mecha Model: Blitz SRN-006
Mecha Weapons: Twin Laser Cannons for either arm, and two quad rocket launchers on either shoulder.(x36 per each clip)
Mecha Appearance: Blitz is jet black, and looks like a normal Mech. However, it only has a single red eye in the middle of it's head, and there appears to be a visor over said eye. It has some purple stripes around it's body, but other than that, isn't very different than most Mechs. The Blitz stores it's Laser Cannons on it's back, and can grab them to quickly attack if needed.

Character Name: Sera Kingston
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Bio: Sera joined the Empire approximately two years ago, and has been working as the mechanic since. However, recently, a secret 'strike group' was formed in the Empire faction, and Sera was chosen as one of the pilots. However, shortly after the group's formation, as she heard details of the mission's success that her brother was on... It was also said that her brother died during that same mission, as the base that was attacked was destroyed in an explosion. The news was taken badly by Sera, but has recovered enough to take over the position of leader that her brother, Ryan, held before he died.
Faction: Empire
Character Appearance: Sera has dark brown hair, and piercing orange eyes. Her appearance reflects her personality, as she usually dresses in a style that reflects her careful, thinking mood. She is approximately 5 foot 10.

Mecha Section -
Mecha Model: SRN-000 Pulse
Mecha Weapons: This mech has a beam saber built into the wrist of the right arm, being able to activate without taking up a space for something in it's hand. It also has a pulse generator that can shoot an energy blast from the palm of it's other hand.
Mecha Appearance: The mech has it's base as the standard humanoid mechs, however, it has many differences. For one, it has 'wings' that are used to help with extended air fights. Second, as with all SRN models except the 'Blitz', there is a mouth guard instead of a closed mouth. This mouth guard has three evenly spaced gaps where cyan light glows from. The mech's colouring is black and light blue, though not as light as the cyan glow.

Character Name: Calvin Harrison
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Bio: Calvin apparently had an accident when he was younger, which is why he is bald, and rarely smiles, however, that's never been proven. He hates rebels, however, though he also hates the side-group of rebels more for some reason. It's theorized that the accident and his hate for rebels goes hand in hand, however.
Faction: Empire
Character Appearance: As his first name suggests, Calvin is, in fact, bald. It is said that it happened because of an accident when he was younger, but that has not been proven. He has dark brown eyes, and only smiles when he finds something funny; which isn't often. Calvin is approximately 6 foot 3.

Mecha Section -
Mecha Model: SRN-001 Crusher
Mecha Weapons: The mech is outfitted with an extremely large ball and chain, which is it's primary, and only, form of attack.
Mecha Appearance: This mech is slightly shorter than most, but the excess metal went into making sure the mech was heavily armoured. This fact, combined with the slow attacking ball and chain it wields, shows that it's supposed to be mainly a tanking mech. It's mouth guard has approximately ten gaps, however, they're narrower than most of the gaps on other mouth guards, and emits a bright orange glow. The mech itself is black and orange, however, it's not as bright an orange as the glow.

Character Name: Curtis Harmon

Age: 22
Bio: Curtis had a relatively normal life prior to joining the Empire. However, once he grew older, and began to see what was happening in terms of the war, that's when he knew he had to join the Empire. He has somewhat of an obsession with justice, and finding the truth, and that is why he fights against the rebels; since he believes what the Empire says, that they are chaos-loving criminals, who need to be eliminated. He disliked the fact that Ryan was so arrogant in his handling of the capture of one of the Rebels, and the apparent death of another one, but never voiced it before the fatal mission for Ryan.

However, otherwise, he usually smiles, except in combat, when he's serious to a point. He tends to wear black and white formal clothing, and his uniform is split equally black and white. Mecha Model: SRN-002 Truth
Mecha Weapons: Large handheld hammer, which he wields with two hands. He has no other weapons, feeling that explosives simply invite casualties.
Mecha Appearance: The Truth has a rather formal appearance. It has no fancy stuff, other than rockets to allow aerial combat. However, it does have it's torso redesigned to have the chest of the mech resemble a tie. The mouth guard has a glow of no colour in particular, just a normal white glow. The mech itself is black and white, with no hints of any other colour.

Mecha Weapons: Twin Beam Sabers, two shoulder mounted Laser Cannons. It can combine the handles of the two swords at the side to form a two-handed beam-axe.
Mecha Appearance: The Mech looks like the standard humanoid models, however, it has been streamlined for quicker movement. It has a backpack that could be used as a booster, but also has other purposes that are still being experimented on. It's mouth guard has a limegreen glow, along with three rectangular gaps, where the glow originates from. The mech itself is black and red, with some hints of limegreen colouring.

Mecha Model: SRN-004 Chaos
Mecha Weapons: Pulse Beam Rifle, and a Chain Rod, which is a set of chains that emits energy, and is attached to a handle. This allows the Chaos to grab it's opponents, and wrench them toward it, only to fire a beam through the chassis and destroy the mech quickly.
Mecha Appearance: The Chaos has a simply design, however, it's simple design also shows it's style well. The only thing that's truly different from normal is it's head. It has two 'spikes' that point toward the back of the head. There are also a couple spikes around the joints, but nothing too different from the normal mech designs. The mech's mouth guard has two rather large gaps, which emit a bright red glow. The rest of the mech is Black and red, the same colour of red as the glow, which is brighter than the red used on Owen's mech.

Character Appearance: This person's standard appearance has never been seen, even when not on a mission, as he's always in uniform. That uniform is typically black and green, with a tinted visor on his helmet. This person seems to be approximately 5 foot 11.

Mecha Model: SRN-005 Light
Mecha Weapons: One Beam Sword, one Beam Rifle, twin laser cannons on the tips of the wings.
Mecha Appearance: This mech is relatively balanced, in terms of streamlining and being armoured. It has a large set of 'wings' that help to propel the mech during aerial combat. However, it also has the advantage of acting as a secondary set of weapons. The tips of the wings have small, but powerful, laser cannons. It is said that the wings could also act like the backpack on the Break, but it is still unknown what that backpack is for. The mouth guard of this mech has a single gap, and gives off a bright green glow. The mech is green and black, not entirely the same colour as the glow, but very close.

Agent Bailey (last name classified) has been a loyal member of the Empire for many years.  She currently holds a top-secret position in Imperial Reconnaissance.
Personality: Though she appears to be highly emotional and mercurial, on the inside she is cold as steel.  It is unknown if she was always this way, or if she has hardened during her time in Imperial service.
Faction: Empire
Character Appearance: Shoulder-length black hair with a neon streak hanging down near the front.  She changes the color every week, and puts colored lenses in her eyes to match.  She is of Asian descent; everything else about her is obscured by makeup designed to make her as nondescript as possible; the better to blend in with the crowd.  She normally wears all black, but she always wears a utility belt of some kind; the attachments are usually black or another neutral color, but the belt itself matches her eyes and her hair.
She has an advanced A.I. named Erin built into her home computer.  It actually has more emotion than she does.  Erin is the only being Bailey trusts, and in return she guards Bailey's deepest secret.  It is uncertain as to whether Bailey programmed Erin, or if she was given to her by someone else.


Mecha Model: ERM-0003 StarStorm
Mecha Weapons: This monster, like Bailey, is not what it seems.  Equipped with front-mounted repeating blasters and machine guns, super-thick armor, and twin beam sword/blaster combos for hand use, the ERM-0003 StarStorm is already quite fromidable.  However, this bad boy also comes equipped with a bank of eight high-payload missile launchers that pop up in the back, each capable of firing six per minute and with a capacity of 90 missiles each, a shield generator capable of withstanding up to 90 Beam Sword strikes and 30 rockets (and that's not counting the durability of the generator itself, hidden internally behind all that armor), multiple mine layers, and several dozen laser cannons and EMP grenade launchers hidden on all sides to prevent sneak attacks (just in case anything can sneak past its state-of-the-art wide-range wide-frequencey sensor package, a standard feature on all Recon mechs).  As if that weren't enough, although it normally moves like the lumbering giant it is, the StarStorm is also equipped with numerous jump jets, allowing it to surprise its foes by leaping out of harm's way.  But wait, there's more!  Alongside the jump jets are ordinary repulsorlifts and rocket engines, allowing the StarStorm to fly.  That's right.  FLY.  And with starfighter-like agility to boot.  Of course, if anything is strong (or clever) enough to get within melee range and stupid enough to actually touch it, the ERM-0003 can electrify its entire hull, severely damaging (and perhaps destroying) anything-or anyONE-in contact with it.  This mech is fantastically expensive, but unlike most Empire mechs, it will pay for itself-whereas most mechs will have to be repaired and replaced, the ERM-0003 usually requires neither, saving money which is later be put to upgrading its already formidable arsenal.  Indeed, despite all its armaments, this mech's generator still has plenty of power to spare, and Bailey intends to take advantage of it...as soon as she's finished wiping you off the face of the planet.  (The ERM-0003 is one of a line of 1,000 Recon mechs, of which at least 50 are currently complete and operational.  Each mech is built on the same basic frame, but can be customized to suit the pilot.  Standard features of the ERM-series are: armor, shield generator, jump jets (not as many as the StarStorm, but still useful), hull electrification ability, sensor package.  Arms are not standard, and there are several equipped with one arm and a large, heavy weapon mounted on the other side.  Side-to-side balance issues are the only common weakness of the ERM-series, but the pilots of units as customized as the ERM-0003 have usually compensated for or eliminated that weakness.  In spite of their power and usefulness, ERM-series mechs are rarely sent into battle, mainly so they maintain their status as a powerful secret weapon, used to finish off cornered opponents.  Few have seen an ERM-series mech and lived to tell the tale...including Imperials.)

But with greyish-violet Samus Aran-esque arms with black Gresh/EVA fins on the shoulders.  (Unlike Samus, both arms on this mech end in hands.  For clarity, the beam sword/blaster combos have handles that hinge to turn the hilt into a gun shape.  They can be stored on the outside of the upper "thighs" of the legs in either configuration.)

Bio: One of the Imperial aides loyal to General Tyrr, she has had a crush on him for some time.

Character Appearance: She looks strikingly similar to Rose, but with a blond ponytail secured with a green scrunchie.  She's also about an inch and a half taller, but her body size in general (and in specific) is slightly smaller than Rose.
Personality: Though always professional, J has always had a crush on the General since she first saw his picture in a personnel file.  After much effort, she managed to get herself assigned to him just before he decided to turn against the Empire; as a result, she was one of the first to join him in his rebellion (though he had no clue of her affections, having never met her in person; he only issued orders over the comlink).  J recruited most of the rest of General Tyrr's group, or at least opened contact between them and the General.  Though she worked for the Empire, she is uncharacteristically cheery, having never truly seen pain or suffering.  It is unknown what the General's reaction will be to her when they meet.

Mecha Section -J was an aide, so she didn't have her own mech; however, she would likely take the Gunner or another simple mech.  Actually, she'd rather stay at HQ and help from afar, unless she was told the mission would be an opportunity to impress the General.  (She'd actually do a lot of unusual things if she were told it would impress the General...)

Character Appearance: The stereotypical 1950's film noir detective, from trenchcoat to fedora to Colt hand pistol.  He has a constant five o'clock shadow, even though he never shaves.  His tie is diagonally striped black-and-red.
Personality: The stereotypical 1950's film noir detective.  Like, to a T.
Mecha Section -
What, are you kidding?  The guy thinks he's living in a 50's film noir.  He has no clue what a mech even is, and if he saw one, he'd probably think it's some kind of steampunk invention built by a crazy rich guy.  He does, however, have one odd ability: using Soul Energy, he can build up power until it releases into a mile-wide burst.  Unlike Shiza's use of Soul Energy, though, his Soul Energy does no damage; rather, it draws everyone and everything in the burst radius into the world in Zamz Bade's mind, essentially transforming the real world into a film noir.  (The world goes sepia-toned, the lighting becomes more dramatic, background music plays, everyone's clothes change to look like the 1950s, people start talking like in the film noir movies, etc.)  Everything is still happening in the real world--if you're shot in the film noir, you're shot for real--but things and technology change to fit the 50s; so droids appear as people, Beam Swords become antique sabers, a message from a cell phone becomes a letter brought in by a random mailman at exactly the right moment, etc.  It's not a hard and fast rule, though, and anachronisms abound.  It's a random and strange effect, but it's only temporary.  Anyone who concentrates hard enough on the fact that the world makes no sense (that is, anytime any player says they want to end the effect via OOC) can dispel the effect for everyone...until next time, anyway.

Mecha Model: ERM-016 Iron Chef
Mecha Weapons: The Iron Chef is armed similarly to the basic ERM-series mech described in Bailey's profile, but has an arm attached to a hammer in place of a left-side weapons pod and an arm attached to a flamethrower on the opposite side. It also has an "Iron Defense Mode" In which the mech braces itself, covers all moving parts with iron plates, and diverts all power to shields and armor. In this mode the iron Chef also has a limited self-repair ability, but is completely immobile and can't fire. It takes 5 seconds to enter or exit this mode.
Mecha Appearance: Same as Bailey's mech except as noted above. No fins on arms. Has two red stripes at the top of each limb as well as running along the bottom of the main body.

Mecha Model: SRN-0026 Risk
Mecha Weapons: The Risk is little more than a transportation unit. It posesses two Beam Rifles mounted to the shoulders and two high-yield missiles that may be launched from the chest in an emergency. The Risk uses a jetpack and repulsorlifts to move around, as it has no legs. The Risk is intended to direct Imperial troops in battle, and possesses a high-speed uplink with all Imperial mechs not programmed to resist it; this link allows the pilot to take direct control of the other mech if needed, but can only be used for a short time. Since Kronos has no legs, he cannot move the other mech, but can utilize its weapons. Otherwise, this link is used to transmit tactical movements on the battlefield to units under its command.
Mecha Appearance: The Risk looks like the top half of Dr. Inferno's mech from the LEGO Agents series, but with five-fingered hands on both arms. The orange "cuff" on the right arm remains, as it can project a holographic map of the battlefield anywhere needed.

Lloyd snapped his eyes open, as he glanced at the time, and then sighed.
Only 6... Why is there such a need for this racket? Lloyd mentally complained with a sigh, as he sat up slowly, and looked around. The morning alarm to get everyone up was blaring at the moment, which was the cause for Lloyd's current mood. Lloyd got out of bed, and quickly changed into his day clothes, as he walked out of his room, and looked around.
Let's see how many people just stuffed something in their ears again, or had some other form of ignoring that alarm. Lloyd thought, as he leaned against the wall nearby and waited.

OOC: No, I don't think you do. =P

IC: Leo dragged himself out of bed, threw his shoe out the window, and went to retrieve it.
Rose awoke, walked over to the box of desserts she and Luna had gotten on their last trip to town, removed two marshmallow, plugged her ears with them, and returned to bed. Luna did likewise.
Kora had already been up for two hours working on S.H.I.R.A, and Jared was already in the briefing room.

OOC: Hmm... This teasing is making me think I do. =P

Lloyd raised an eyebrow as Leo passed, and Lloyd noted that the other pilot had one shoe missing.
Oh not again... We go through more windows than most people... Lloyd thought with a sigh, as the blaring continued overhead.
When will General Vox learn that people find ways around this alarm anyway? Lloyd wondered, and sighed again, as he didn't notice anyone else pass.
Looks like the others pulled night shifts again. That, or... Lloyd thought, as he walked up to the door to Rose's room, and knocked loudly.
"I know you're in there." Lloyd said over the alarm, as he rubbed his eyes with his free hand.

Rose and Luna slowly exited the room. Luna was silent as always, and Rose sleepily mumbled something about monkeys.

"We've learned more about the Empire's Super-Soldier Project. They are taking criminals from the prisons, brainwashing them, and using a special chemical to make them super strong. Your assignment is to infiltrate their laboratory and destroy it."

"Do we have the schematics of the place, or has our resident hacker run into another firewall whose password is not 'password'?"

Kora was holding a doughnut in one hand and a flash drive in another hand. She walked to the projector...and plugged in the doughnut. A second later, she realised her mistake and plugged in the flash drive instead. The schematics of the base appeared in midair.

"Bravo, bravo..." Lloyd said and waved his hand in the air randomly.
"So; where would guards be stationed, do you think?" Lloyd asked, as he leaned back in his seat, and studied the schematics carefully; they'd come in handy during the mission for sure.

(Kora): "Everywhere. Sure glad I get to sit in my room and remotely control S.H.I.R.A, and don't have to put my life at risk."

(Jared): "Our mechas are fueled and ready to go, though we'll have to enter the base on foot."

(Vox): "Who's giving this briefing?!"

"What about security cameras? It helps if we can avoid trouble most of the time, especially on a mission like this." Lloyd asked, as he looked over to see if Rose was listening.

"Alright; anything else that's good to know? Any tanks that could be blown up easily?" Lloyd asked, as he glanced over to see what Rose was doing again. He had a funny feeling he'd have to explain everything once they started out on the mission.

Rose had moved on to drawing a penguin with a bow tie.

"That's all we know...oh! We do know who is commanding the base: General Adrian Tyrr. So be careful..every rebel that's gone up against him has died."

Lloyd just stared at the drawing with a blank look on his face, and looked back up at the hacker with a nod.
"I see; so we're going up against one of the leaders huh. Should be interesting." Lloyd said, as he interlocked his fingers, and then stretched out, and leaned back again.

Lloyd stepped onto the lift for his Mecha, as he glanced over to Jared, and nodded.
Finally some major action. Lloyd thought, as he climbed into the cockpit of the Mech, and then turned around and sat down in the seat, as the hatch on the front closed.
"Lloyd Cardigan; all systems check." Lloyd said, as he glanced down and muttered under his breath, and quickly climbed out of the seat, and back behind into the small change room, as he quickly put on his uniform, and sat back down in his seat.

(Jared): "S.H.I.R.A Squad, deploy!"

OOC: Wow.

Lloyd nodded, as the eyes of his Mech suddenly lit up and started to glow. After a little bit, Lloyd found himself outside of the Rebel Base, and looked around to make sure there were no Empire troops to ambush them, and opened a comm link to Rose.
"Rose; you there?" Lloyd asked, as he had his Mech start to move in the direction of the Lab that the mission was to take place in.

OOC: ?

IC: "Of course. I'm not going to miss the chance to blow stuff up!"

(Leo): "Enemy fighters coming in at 4 o'clock."

BOOC: Leo ALWAYS sounds depressed. Even when he's happy.

"So; did you hear anything of the briefing, or were you busy drawing?" Lloyd asked Rose, and then heard Leo over the comm link, and whirled his mech around, grabbed his Energy Pistol from the 'belt' of his Mech, and took aim at one of the fighters with his mech's targeting reticules, and then fired a shot at it.
"Though; looks like you'll have some practice before the mission." Lloyd added onto his conversation with Rose, as he kept an eye on the fighters.

"Yeah, well we just got janitor duty for tonight again, because you and Luna decided to sleep in." Lloyd said with a frown over the video commlink. He then turned his attention to a fighter who was about to sneak up on Rose, and then quickly aimed at the fighter, and pulled the trigger on his energy pistol, as a laser shot at the fighter, and pierced right through it. Lloyd thought he heard someone yell out "AAAAAAAAAAAAAH~!" as the fighter exploded, but paid it no mind.

OOC: Now the RPG is perfect... The Wilheim scream. =P

IC: Rose and Leo moved back, and Jared and Luna moved forward, vaporising dozens of mechas.

-==IC: Lloyd/Outside Base==-

Lloyd watched as the others started to decimate the incoming fighters, and then grabbed the handle for his Beam Sword, and the Mech pulled it off it's back, and held it in front of itself. Lloyd looked around, and then ran toward a Mech that had just deactivated it's cloaking features, and raised an axe above it's head. It's target was Rose, but Lloyd activated the jet boosters in his Mecha's feet, and swiftly piloted his Mech toward the enemy Mecha, and sliced right through the Mech's cockpit with his Beam Sword.
"Rose; you should really watch your back, you know." Lloyd said to Rose, as he had his Mech stand back to back with Rose's Mech, as he scanned the skies to see if there was anything else intending to try and take the Rebels down.

However, there were no enemy mechs left.

(Rose): "I thought watching my back was your job."

(Jared): "Cut the chatter, people. Enemy base dead ahead."

-==IC: Lloyd/Empire Lab==-

Lloyd was about to comment on Rose's statement, however, Jared's report about the labs being near made him think otherwise.
"So, where do we leave the mechs? Do we set an alarm on them that goes off like those old cars used to? Bloody annoying those were, from what I've heard on EmpireTube."

OOC: =P

"We're landing in an empty field nearby."

-==IC: Lloyd/Empire Lab==-

"Alright." Lloyd said, as he piloted his Mech over to said field, and then had his Mech kneel down, as he attached his bungee cord to the hook just inside the door to the cockpit, and then password protected the Mech's internal systems. Lloyd the opened the door to the cockpit, and cautiously climbed down, tossing the bungee cord up after he unhooked it from his uniform. Lloyd then looked around to see where the others was, as he frowned, wondering how they'd get to the site in question... Especially without being seen.

Jared came out first, carrying a set of grappling devices.

Leo can out second, holding...a sock.

Luna was not holding anything.
S.H.I.R.A was the next out.

Rose was the final one to exit-understandable, considering she was carrying more than a dozen guns, plus several grenades and a rocket launcher.

"... Rose; I'm not even going to ask how you got that by General Vox." Lloyd stated, and pulled out the four explosives that he had brought from his Mech.
"Get in, set timer for six minutes, and get out." Lloyd said simply, as he looked back to Rose.
"Also, for those who didn't bring over nine thousand firearms... mind us borrowing some?" Lloyd asked, as he raised an eyebrow at the girl.

OOC: I just realized how well those rockets would work as a distraction.

I vote SHIRA going as the distraction. =P

*Rose idly tosses a grenade at Lloyd*

Lloyd just looked at Rose blankly, and rubbed his forehead.
"Anyway; let's go." Lloyd said, and looked to see where a covert entrance was.

*General Adrian, via loudspeaker*
"Rebel scum. You have fallen into my trap! Prepare to d-"
*Adrian notices Rose*
"Wow. You are beautiful! Do you have a boyfriend?"

"Yes, now go away." Lloyd said with an annoyed look on his face, though he figured the whole reason that happened was some camera on the building.
There goes the plan for not being seen...

(Rose): "I do?"

"Just go with it." Lloyd whispered to Rose, as he glared up at the Camera he now saw.
"Do you really think you can take us down? You're seeing the elite of the elite here. And there's about nine dozen more people all cloaked around the base. Just give up now, and maybe we'll leave you to scurry back off like the vermin you and the empire are."

OOC: I'm having so much fun with Lloyd. Now I honestly can't wait to get TML done. ^_^

In response, the entire wall revealed itself to be made of millions of tiny laser blasters.

Lloyd raised an eyebrow at that.
"Touche." Lloyd admitted, but had an idea, and smiled.
"Could you really take us, though?" Lloyd said, as he held up the grenade that Rose had handed him.
"You even try something, I could blow your pathetic little building up. This is a new type of grenade. It looks normal; but it could reduce your pretty little lab to nothing in an instant. And it could be set off by those lasers. Are you willing to risk it?" Lloyd asked. He was taking a chance, but knew he had to risk it. Besides; if needed; his mech was on standby, waiting for his command on his TouchPad he had behind his back, which was conveniently blocked from view because of his proximity to the others.

(Adrian): "..........."

*Rose loads the rocket launcher*

*S.H.I.R.A prepares it's weapons*

"That's what I thought. Now; are you also willing to risk potential info getting lost because of killing us?" Lloyd asked, partly trying to offer him a potential scenario. However, Lloyd also placed his hand to his ear, and whispered the following over comm link to Kora...
"Set cam to loop... I forgot to put my program to record, and we might be here a while otherwise." Lloyd spoke, meaning, essentially, to put the security cameras to loop one section of the tape, so that they could sneak in without being seen on the cameras, as Lloyd put his hand down, and simply kept looking to the Camera.

(Kora): "Pepperoni, extra cheese, and-sorry Lloyd, I'll do that in a second-..."

(Adrian): "...What info?"

"Any info. Don't you guys have the 'Interrogation For Dummies' book? Or any similar edition?"

OOC: Note: he's ironically not trying to insult Adrian. =P

"No, but I have several thousand laser cannons trained on you. So either tell me everything, set me up with that gorgeous girl, or prepare to die."

"Okay then. I was born back 18 years ago, on the 11th of November. I have no clue of the weather conditions, but I assume it wasn't bad out at the time." Lloyd started, keeping his face straight somehow, as he 'misinterpreted' Adrian's statement.

OOC: </stalling while Kora hacks in and loops the feed>

(Chief Technician): "General! All of our monitors are suddenly showing old Disney cartoons!"

(Jared): *Via comlink* "Ready...When I give the order, attach your grappling hook to the roof and prepare to scale the building while they're distracted by Mickey."

Lloyd rolled his eyes, and motioned to the ventilation shaft cover that was on the one part of the wall that wasn't covered in lasers.
"Seems easier." Lloyd whispered over the comm link, though he wasn't opposed to either solution.

OOC: Might just be me and my Goldeneye Tactics. =P

By the way, when I said six minutes, it meant 3. =P

"No, the Empire has a habit of putting lasers INSIDE ventilation shafts now."

"Their loss." Lloyd said with a shrug, but then smiled, as he pulled off the cover slowly, and winked at the others.
"Let's give them another distraction." Lloyd said, as he waited for the signal. He had an idea, and this would work perfectly.

OOC: I so want a mission that takes place on a dam where everyone's supposed to parachute in. I blame Goldeneye, yet again. =P

OOC: That can be arranged....

IC: Jared gave the signal.

Lloyd nodded, and pulled out the pin from the grenade he held, and then tossed it in the shaft. Lloyd then tossed the grappling hook up, and latched it in.
"Go, go, go!" Lloyd whispered over comm link, as they needed to climb quickly.

OOC: I'm assuming Lloyd was the last to actually get the Grappling Hook attached. =P

Luna was the first up, and was already placing some silent explosives on the roof. Leo and Jared guarded her, while Rose did her best not to drop her grenades and S.H.I.R.A charged all it's weapons.

Lloyd was near the top, when the grenade he had thrown exploded, sending a burst of flames out the ventilation shaft, and likely the other way as well, along with likely opening up multiple problems structure wise, like no more ventilation shaft. Lloyd climbed up finally, and nodded.
"Now what?" Lloyd asked, as he looked around to make sure nothing else happened badly.

The silent explosives blew, creating a hole in the roof large enough for a human to squeeze through.

Lloyd nodded, and then attached his grappling hook to the hole, peered down it to make sure no-one was waiting with a machine laser gun, and when he saw that wasn't true, he dropped down, and prepared for the infiltration.

S.H.I.R.A followed Lloyd. After it came Leo, Luna, and Rose.

Jared gestured for the team to split up: Leo and Luna would take path #1, he and S.H.I.R.A  would take path #2, and Rose and Lloyd would take path #3.

Lloyd nodded, and started down path three. Lloyd reached down to his heel, and quickly drew a knife, as he made sure the mines that would be needed for the destruction of the lab in itself were safely fastened on the belt of his uniform.
"Alright, let's hurry." Lloyd said to Rose quietly, as he crouched down, and started walking down the path quietly, attempting to not attract the attention of any guards... Yet.

OOC: Be warned, I've got tons of skills in stealth combat from the new Goldeneye. =P

"Righ-"

(Adrian): "Hello, beautiful...care to join me for dinner? Of course, the offer is only for you. The rest of the rebels will perish."

Guns appeared in the walls.

"... Can't you evil people think of more creative things?" Lloyd asked with an annoyed look on his face, as he scanned for the correct way through, or at least a way to avoid those guns.
"Besides; we've both got things to do tonight, so the offer isn't really available." Lloyd said as he rolled his eyes again, at his attempt to hit on Rose, as he placed his hand on his ear to open the comm link to Kora.
"Can you do anything about these traps? They're not making this any easier than it could be; and there was never any mention about them being inside the lab."

(Kora): "Sorry, I'm focusing on controlling S.H.I.R.A at the moment."
(Adrian): "I'm evil? You're the bad guys! Well, except for you, Rose...I doubt anyone so beautiful could be evil."


OOC: he knows her name because he's been reviewing the list of known rebels.

"Have you ever stopped to consider why we might be rebelling?" Lloyd asked, as he noticed an alcove that pretty much only contained a door. Lloyd grabbed Rose's hand, and led her into it, and then smashed the control panel for the door, to try and make it so that it couldn't be closed.

OOC: You had to go and put lasers in these ventilation shafts. How do you expect anyone to sneak into a place without those? xP

"Because you're criminals. The Empire's forces prevent crime, so you wish to destabilize the Empire to make a profit!"

*Rose loads her rocket launcher*

"Is that what they're saying now? Huh; they're getting creative. We're not trying to make a 'profit'; we're doing it because your precious Empire is oppressing people. And if you'd stop playing video games, and went outside, instead of just glancing at your security screen, maybe you'd say that. I have half a guess that you're in the basement level of this place; am I right?" Lloyd asked, partially trying to buy time, as he analyzed the best way to get past the next round of guns.

OOC: Would a good idea be to simply run past all these, or would that not be as likely as James Bond movies make it look? =P

OOC: Remember: in the RPG, god-moding is mostly allowed.  ::)
IC: "I have been outside. And I've seen proof that the Empire preserves Order. Without us, the world would be in ruins!"

"Do you seriously believe that? The Empire hasn't been around forever; and humanity got along fine before that." Lloyd said, and motioned to Rose to run in three seconds, as he planned to run past all the guns quickly.

OOC: Thanks. Now that confirms a later plot point for me. =) I need to start creating more characters; then we can have epic mech battles. =P

Rose nodded.
"Yes...and before the Empire was formed 200 years ago, the Earth was in the middle of a global civil war!"

"That doesn't mean anything. That's been happening pretty much for all of existence one way or the other." Lloyd said, and nodded in confirmation to Rose, as he shifted to the entrance of the door alcove, and then quickly ran across the hallway, as he grabbed Rose's hand to make sure that she didn't get left behind somehow.

As she ran, Rose fired a rocket into the wall, obliterating the loudspeaker, a camera, and several guns.

"Good job. That guy was annoying me. He should stop talking now." Lloyd said, as the two of them ran down the hall, as Lloyd checked the schematics on his portable computer quickly.

OOC: Aka, an iPhone. I assume that all portable computers are that in this year span. xP

OOC: Yeah, pretty much. =P
Though Kora does use a laptop to control S.H.I.R.A.

IC: According to the schematics, the turbolift to the Master Control Tower was one floor up, and the main lab was one floor down.

OOC: Well, yeah, but still. =P It'd be like those new things out, where the 'phone' is the main device, and the laptop is the console, maybe?

Also, is the lab where we blow stuff up, or is that where the stuff we need to download is?

"We'll have a lot of running to do, it looks like. Surprising, though..." Lloyd said with a frown, as the two continued to run down the hall.

"Wha?" Lloyd gasped, as he skidded to a stop, and pulled on Rose's arm to make sure she didn't skid into the field either.

OOC: Mind going along? escaping from enemy prison is always fun, and the prison is right next door to the lab (so they always have plenty of people to experiment on).

Lloyd growled, as he looked around, to see if there was any way of getting out of this, though he didn't really see any...

General Adrian approached the prison. He walked right past Lloyd, and handed Rose a bouquet of flowers.
"All you rebels will now pay the price for defying the Empire."

"Unless...you'd like to go out with me?"

OOC: What are the cells like? What kind of protection? Same old steel bar cells, since they didn't figure anyone could escape those? =P

Lloyd narrowed his eyes, as he attempted to think of a way to get out of there.

Lloyd's eyebrow twitched, as he walked up to Adrian, and then grabbed his shirt, spun him around, and then locked his arms around the General's neck, making sure not to hit the laser bars.
"... Yeah... No. Release us now." Lloyd said, an annoyed look on his face.

IC: Adrian kicked Lloyd in the knee, hard.

"... Are you seriously asking that when someone's got your head inches to a laser bar?" Lloyd asked, face blank, as a bead of sweat ran down his face.

Lloyd shoved Adrian out of the way, and then nodded to Rose, as he walked out of the cell.
"Thank you. Now, judging by the time, I'd assume we all ran and get out of here." Lloyd said, and ran in the direction of the exit that he had seen on the schematics.

Rose ran as well.

(Adrian): "......OK, I think I'm going to get out of here too."

(Soldier): "Sir, should we run too?"

(Adrian): "...duh."

-==IC: Lloyd/Escaping Empire Lab==-

Lloyd panted, as he quickly ran forward, hoping that they had thought to set the timer to have enough time so they could escape, as Lloyd saw the exit nearby. Lloyd pulled out his portable computer, and quickly tapped a couple options on the screen, as he pushed himself to run faster, and grabbed Rose's hand once more so that she didn't get left behind, as Lloyd's mech activated, and quickly headed toward the main entrance.

Rose jumped through the door, landing next to Lloyd in the mech, as the building exploded.

(Jared): "Nice timing, you two."

-==IC: Lloyd/Outside Destroyed Base==-

"Would've helped if Sir Flirts-A-Lot hadn't been stupid and not opened that stupid cell sooner..." Lloyd said over the comm link, as he thought for a second.
"Well; I guess it's time to go back then." Lloyd said, as he stood the mech up, though... That seemed too easy...

(Jared): "Who is Sir-actually, I don't want to know."

*From out of the rubble appears a giant mecha, covered with guns, missile launchers, etc*

Lloyd turned his attention to the new Mecha, as his facial expression turned to one of shock.
"What is that...?" Lloyd asked, as he prepared to pilot the Mech away if he needed to. Lloyd turned his attention briefly to Rose.
"Looks like you'll need to stay here for a bit; not safe for you to get to your Mech right now..."

"Aww....I don't get to fight?"

(Adrian): "Rebel scum, you will pay! You just destroyed three years of medical research, and you still have the gall to call yourselves the good guys!"

"You can help me fight." Lloyd said, and then shook his head at Adrian, as he opened a comm link to him.
"So, Sir Flirts-A-Lot... You really think that was medical work, creating Super Soldiers to use against us? Sounds like a story I read from quite a few years ago; had things named 'Chaos Hunters'. They were supposed to fight evil, but their leader was the evilest of them all."

OOC: Told you I'd get a Chaos Hunters reference in somehow. =P

"Super soldiers are the next evolution of man! Human beings, with no flaws! Perfect bodies, extreme intelligence...I know firsthand how amazing this is. After all, I AM one of the first successful super soldiers."

"Not yet...but with more research, it may be possible! Except that YOU blew up one of the main laboratories!"

"Didn't you not just hear me? It's not possible." Lloyd said, getting annoyed, and the video comm link showed that.
"And besides; do you think it would be available to anyone? No; the Empire would just hoard it for their rich 'clients', like anything they do. Do you even realize how little the normal citizens get? I doubt it, seeing as you likely rarely go outside your lab."

"Enough of your lies, rebel! Prepare to die!"

Lloyd rolled his eyes again, and prepared, as he nodded to Rose.
"Let's go." Lloyd said, as the Mecha quickly ran toward it's giant opponent. Lloyd operated the arm to grab the sword on it's back, and swing said sword toward Adrian's Mecha with a sweeping motion.

Adrian blocked and fired several missiles at the rebels.

*Jared's mecha attacks with lasers*

*Leos mecha is not responding*

*Luna's Mecha fires a missile*

Lloyd frowned, as he had his Mecha fire lasers at the missiles that appeared, and turned to Rose again.
"Can you control the missile launcher? When our opponent attacks with missiles again, just fire off some in return." Lloyd explained, as he aimed at the Mech's head, and fired off three shots toward him at close range, and then jumped back, and concentrated.
Alright... Best battle plan for now would be...

(Rose): "No problem."

*fires missiles at Adrian*

*Adrian dodges*

*Luna blasts Adrian with lasers*

*Jared blasts Adrian with lasers*

*Leo launches a rocket at Adrian*

Lloyd scanned the surroundings, as the Outlook ran forward, and then slashed out at Adrian's mech quickly. Lloyd backflipped away quickly before Adrian could respond, however, and fired three shots at the mech while upside down, before the mech righted itself, and then slid back quickly.

Adrian's mech began to spark. It then fired missiles in every direction.

"Now." Lloyd said, as he aimed at some of the missiles being fired, and fired off lasers at the missiles in question.

OOC: I wish there were more Mecha games...

The missiles exploded.

Rose launched a rocket at Adrian, as the other mechs fired lasers.

Lloyd swung the Outlook's sword toward Adrian's Mech once more, as he prepared for whatever the Empire warrior would do next.

Lloyd waited with the mech in a battle stance, as there was always the chance of there being a second mech, like in most Boss battles.

(Rose): "Is he..dead?"

"I doubt it..." Lloyd said, as he kept in the cautious stance for the moment.

OOC: You're just waiting for us to drop our guard, right? xP

OOC: *whistles innocently*

IC: *static* (Kora): "...ys? Yo.. ere? W..t ha...e.ed?"

After hearing the static, Lloyd switched open the official video Comm Link to Kora.
"Kora? You're not clear at all... Could you repeat that?" Lloyd asked, even though he had gotten most of the idea of what she said... Lloyd had a very bad feeling about this, if a blocker was in effect... Lloyd switched open a vid comm link to the others as well.
"Be careful; I have a bad feeling about this..." Lloyd warned, as he watched the ruins of the mech cautiously.

(Kora): "..ign...l? I...pi...za...epper....ni.... .ic....r.................bana n......"

-==IC: Lloyd==-

"Kora; now's not the time to order food." Lloyd said, with a sigh.
"Do you see anything on radar?"

"...Hmm....I do....ee an.thi...."

-==IC: Lloyd==-

"Then what's causing this interference...?" Lloyd asked, a frown on his face, as even the picture seemed to be distorted.
"I mean, I thought you made these systems correctly, and they shouldn't break down randomly like this..."

OOC: =P

"..........chsdxh............"

"Huh?" Lloyd asked, as he couldn't make out any of that last statement that Kora said.

OOC: Something tells me it's a good thing there was static. =P

(Rose): "General Ox sounds right...."

Lloyd smiled for a second, which was rare for him today, at Rose's comment, as he temporarily switched off the comm link.
"Gotta agree." Lloyd said, and then switched the comm link back on.
"Alright. I'm not gonna risk Rose heading back to her Mech, but we'll bring it back now." Lloyd said, as he piloted the Outlook to where Rose's Mech was located.

(Rose): *Slyly* "You just want to keep me in with you, don't you."

(Jared) *thinking*: Why is his nose heading into a ditch?


OOC: Static is funny. =P

Lloyd shrugged.
"You're always off somewhere getting into mischief. We never actually get to talk." Lloyd said simply, as the Outlook reached Rose's mech, and attached a bungee cord to it so the Outlook could drag it back to base.

"I told you, that thing with the Jell-O was a complete accident!"

-==IC: Lloyd==-

"I'm not doubting that. I meant the marshmallows this morning, more than anything." Lloyd said with a smile to Rose, as he piloted the Outlook back to base.

"...Oh."


*blushes*


(Jared): "...I'm beginning to think it was really stupid to put them together..."
(Leo): "you think?"

-==IC: Lloyd==-

"It's okay. Though we do have janitor duty tonight. I still say that the General randomly decided to fire the cleaning staff again; we just have to hope he hires them back by tomorrow." Lloyd said with a shrug.
"Though Leo, he's on his own. It was his fault he decided to toss his shoe out his window. Again." Lloyd said as he rolled his eyes.
"By the way, sorry about that improv earlier. But that guy... He just seems like the kind of person to hit on anyone he sees. And he just wouldn't have treated you right." Lloyd said, as he looked over to Rose.

*blushes again*

OOC: Ironically, Adrian has never even LOOKED at a girl other than Rose before. 

OOC: Seriously? There wasn't any female staffies that the Empire could've sent? =P

"So... What now?" Lloyd asked, not sure what to say now.

OOC: Of course he had female underlings. And he looked at them the same way he looked at the males: As pieces on a chess set.

IC: "I..er.." *nervous*

OOC: Nice. =P

Lloyd glanced at the surroundings for a second to make sure they weren't about to crash into anything, or anything wasn't about to attack them, and then thought about what to say as well.

(Leo): "I'll bet you fifty dollars they end up embarrassing themselves."

(Jared): "You'd win that bet."

(Kora): "WHY IS THERE A GOPHER IN MY CHAIR?!?!?!"

"So... What are you planning to do after we get debriefed? Try and get some more sleep to make up for what the general interrupted?" Lloyd asked, not having a clue what else to say.

OOC: A gopher? xP

"Er..yeah, I guess..."

OOC: Shiza collects strange animals...

Lloyd nodded.
"Sounds like a good idea. I think I might try out one of those mech simulations that I believe Kora's been talking about. ... Though, I could be wrong, I sometimes accidentally fall asleep while she's doing one of her speeches." Lloyd said with a kinda sheepish look on his face.

OOC: Hmm. I expected someone to pop out and try to kill us by now. xP

"I understand maybe every sixth word when she's talking...It always makes me feel stupid."


(Kora): "WHAT THE H***, SHIZA?! WHY DID YOU TURN MY BED INTO AN ANT FARM?!"

-==IC: Lloyd==-

"You shouldn't feel that way." Lloyd said as he looked to Rose.
"It's not your fault she always insists on using techno babble instead of terms everyone knows. Heck, I don't even understand every single thing she says... Especially when she runs everything together." Lloyd said, nodding slightly.

"I know...but it still makes me feel stupid. She's twelve, I'm sixteen! I should know more than her, not the other way around..."

Lloyd didn't feel up to pointing out the fact that she just said the wrong age, but nodded.
"It's okay, really. It doesn't matter to me." Lloyd said, and then smiled.
"What matters, isn't how much you know; but what you know." Lloyd said, as he looked at the surroundings once more to make sure they weren't about to be ambushed.

OOC: According to the character profiles, she said the right age....

IC: "That sounded really deep. And thanks."

(Jared): "We're almost back. Be ready to transmit authorisation codes."

OOC: You said 17 when the RPG started. =P

Lloyd nodded.
"You're welcome." Lloyd said to Rose, as the Outlook approached the base quickly, and Lloyd tapped keys on the on-board screen to prepare for the authorization soon.

OOC: That was a typo that has since been corrected.

IC: (Jared): "Transmit codes now!"

Adrian awoke in a pile of rubble.

OOC: A typo... Suuure... =P You sure you just didn't typo this? =P

Lloyd hit enter on the transmission screen, as the command prompt appeared.
"Lloyd Cardigan, Outlook BLD-000 reporting back." Lloyd spoke, as he thought for a second.

OOC: Considering I fixed that two days ago..I'm sure.

IC: (Rose): "Rose Hamilton, Sharing Lloyd's Mech. Code 44-D6-PL0."

(Control): "Approved. Please park your mechas in the main hanger."

OOC: Doesn't matter, anyway. =P

Lloyd nodded, and the Outlook moved forward, and then stopped at the dock for the Mech, as the lift started to move up, and the cockpit for the Outlook opened up.
"Alright; let's go, there's a report to give."

"I always dread this part...Vox always finds some part of the mission to yell at me about."

Shiza ran up to the mecha. "Brbehniojikal!!!"

"Eh?" Lloyd asked with a blank stare as some kid ran up to the Outlook and spouted off gibberish. However, he did turn to Rose, and smile.
"Don't worry; this time we can share the blame."

*Laughs*
"OK."

(Shiza): "FRHDEGIBGDDD!!!"
*runs off*

Lloyd looked back at the kid who had just ran off, again spouting nonsense.
"Err... Who's that again?" Lloyd asked Rose, as a bead of sweat ran down his face.

OOC: The one person Lloyd luckily hasn't run into. xP

(Jared): "That's Shiza. Kora knows her somehow."

~~~Briefing Room~~~~~

*Shiza is sitting upside-down in her chair, wearing bunny ears, a fake mustache, and a tuxedo*

(Rose): "How'd she change so quickly?.."

"I have no clue..." Lloyd said, as he looked at the girl with a blank look on his face, and then walked over to his seat, and sat down, waiting for the briefing.

OOC: We just need one more operator I think. xP And maybe one or two more pilots.

OOC: ???
IC: (Vox): "Well done, everyone except Rose."

-==IC: Lloyd==-

"Why everyone but Rose?" Lloyd asked, as he looked at General Vox with a bored look on his face of sorts.

"Everyone else completed their missions, while Rose flirted with the enemy general."

-==IC: Lloyd==-

"I can verify the opposite happened." Lloyd said, as he stared at General Vox.
"That flirting 'general' took an unhealthy interest in Rose, yes, but that doesn't mean that it was welcomed." Lloyd said, and then frowned.
"Besides; it wasn't 'everyone' else that completed their mission; and the only reason that happened was because Rose and I both got captured, as we were nearing our targets."

"I'm sure it was Rose's fault you were captured."

"No, it wasn't." Lloyd said, as he frowned.
"In fact, I think it was mostly mine. Haven't you always said, 'never taunt the enemy, unless you really know you'll win'? Well, I shattered that advice into a million pieces for this mission. Though..." Lloyd said with a frown, as he thought on what Adrian had said.
"Though we completed the mission successfully, with no casualties of our own... That General had said we'd fallen into their trap..."

(Vox): "He did? What were his exact words?"

Lloyd paused, and ran through the morning's events in his head.
"He called us scum, and then said we had fallen into his trap." Lloyd said, and then recalled the next part.
"Oh, and he would have killed us, if he had've gotten the chance to."

(Shiza): "Obviously, he's working for the squirrels."

Lloyd stared at the kid who commented with the blank stare he had had earlier, as a bead of sweat ran down his face.
"I'm not even gonna comment on that."

"Why, are you working for them too? No, of course not. You're just a tomato."

Lloyd turned to Kora, the blank stare still on his face.
"Is she insane?"

"Sometimes, I think she's the only sane one."

Lloyd shook his head, as he placed his hand on his forehead.
"What's the world coming to...?"

(Vox): "IF we can get back on subject...Leo, Lloyd, and Rose...You're cleaning the bathrooms using your toothbrushes."

Lloyd raised an eyebrow at that.
"What about Luna?" Lloyd asked, as he had remembered that she had been late as well.

"Luna is in charge of picking up every fallen stick in a three mile radius."

Lloyd raised an eyebrow, but didn't really say anything.
Why does she get the job that's merely tedious, though? Lloyd mentally wondered, and then nodded.

"Good. Now get out of my sight."

Lloyd rolled his eyes, as he stood up, and started to walk out of the room, however, he paused.
"When are we cleaning everything again? You said tonight earlier, but it's not exactly tonight yet."

"I was going to let you wait until after dinner, but thanks to your snarky comment...GET CLEANING!"

Lloyd sighed.
"I was just asking..." Lloyd said, and then rolled his eyes.
"Yes sir." Lloyd said with a salute, and then walked out of the room, before he snickered.
He thinks he's being harsh by making me use a toothbrush? Heh.

Rose: *groans*

"What's wrong?" Lloyd asked Rose, as he walked toward his room with a slight yawn.

"All my outfits look exactly the same, and if you haven't noticed, they're not exactly good for cleaning in."

OOC: Given that you never did give an appearance description for her... =P

OOC: I told you, just Google "Gurren Lagann Yoko" and imagine her with brown hair. That's Rose.
Besides, I don't think the word filter would allow me to describe Rose. =P

OOC: Okay then. ::) Though, looking at Yoko, I could find a few ways to describe her without running into filter problems. =P Since the appearance doesn't necessarily have to deal with certain things, mostly just clothes and hairstyle and what colour of eyes that person has. Though that's just me. =P

"True... Have you considered getting a new wardrobe for things like this?" Lloyd asked, just out of curiousity.

IC: "Last time I tried to buy something from the mall, the owner called the police to claim to bounty on rebels."

"Eh, I could help there." Lloyd said, with a smile.
"We'll work on that later, though." Lloyd said and thought for a second.
"I doubt Luna'd mind you borrowing some of her clothes for a little bit, right?"

"Luna's clothes say (and I quote): 'I wish I was dead. I hate myself and everyone else. I'm ugly and stupid.' I'll see if Kora will let me borrow her clothes."

Lloyd blinked, and watched Rose go to ask Kora.
Okay then... Lloyd thought with a sigh, as he waited for Rose to return.

*Rose returns five minutes later wearing a mechanic's outfit*

"It's a little small...I kinda forgot she was four years younger than me, and barely five feet tall."

OOC: Not surprising, considering Kora is very mature and has three doctorates.

Lloyd was going to point out how he was going to point it out before, but thought better of it.
"Alright then. Anything else before we start cleaning the bathrooms?" Lloyd asked, not moving from the wall he was leaning against yet.

"There's a giant spider on your shoulder."

Lloyd simply brushed it off his shoulder, and smiled.
"Anything else?" Lloyd asked with a chuckle.

"That's it."

"Alright then." Lloyd said, and walked into his room quickly to grab his toothbrush, and then walked back out.
"Alright; let's go then..."

(Kora): "General Vox, I've obtained some interesting information..."

Lloyd walked down the hallway, unaware of what was happening in the empire a ways away...

"Governor 2892, what is the status of the Rebellion?"

(Chargas): "A constant thorn in the side of the Empire."

"So you have not yet crushed them."

(Chargas): "It is only a matter of tim-"

"If the rebellion is not crushed, we will be forced to activate the Human Extinction System."

OOC: ... Hmm. That sounds familiar somehow... I can't place it... Where have I heard that before...? =P

(Vox): "I fail to see how a takeout Chinese menu is important...."
(Kora): *sweatdrops* "heh...wrong file..."

Lloyd stopped outside the door to the bathroom.
"Alright... This is the best place to start... You ready?" Lloyd asked Rose, as he wasn't sure.

-==IC: Member of the Empire==-

"Requesting audience with the Emperor to discuss the strategy." One of the Empire Fighters said to the guard, as he nodded.
"Audience will be granted soon, I will say when you're cleared for entrance."

OOC: Just tell me when, and control the emperor. I'll detail the plan in IC. =P

(Chargas): "Masters, I..I am needed."

"Very well. But do not fail again, human."


(Chargas): "ENTER!"

The Soldier entered, and nodded.
"My emperor, I am here to discuss the infiltration mission that we had been talking about regarding the Rebels... You know, the one where our two backup members for this mission attacks the base, and one or two others infiltrates the base with us, and tries to blend in?"

"I'm the emperor. I don't NEED recaps."

-==IC: Empire Soldier==-

"Alright, alright... But the plan's ready, I think, sir. All that needs to happen, is for the attack to begin, and for us to infiltrate the base."

"so? Get on with it! I have an empire to run!"

"Yes sir." The soldier said, as he walked out of the room. He headed toward the Mechs, as three others gathered with him.
"Plan is a go." The soldier said, and the other two nodded and ran off to their mechs, leaving only the last person not saying anything.

*in the rebel base, the alarm goes off, startling Rose and causing her to smash her head into the sink she was underneath*

Lloyd looked up, and stood up slowly.
"... What's going on?" Lloyd wondered aloud, and then noticed Rose, and walked over to her.
"Are you okay?" Lloyd asked, a frown on his face.

*dazed* "We really are tomatoes..."

"Rose, now's not the time for your daydreams..." Lloyd said with a frown, as he looked back in the direction of the speaker for the alarm.
What could be causing this...?

"right....let's get to the briefing room."

Lloyd nodded, and helped Rose up, and then started to head toward the briefing room.

"And the enemy base is located below the dam. However, because of an EMP field around the base, we...Well, look who showed up. Rose, have you EVER been on time?"

-==IC: Lloyd==-

"Well if you hadn't decided to put the alarm on full blast, maybe we might have been here sooner." Lloyd said, as he rolled his eyes.
"So, a dam mission..." Lloyd said, a smirk on his face as he ran the possibilities through his head.

-==IC: Enemy Soldiers==-

"Closing in on target... Will be there in three... Two... One..." One of the soldiers in his transforming Mech said, as he readied a missile, and then fired it toward the Rebel Base quickly.

*The base shudders*

(Soldier): "Sir, I don't mean to alarm you, but Imperial mechs are shooting at us..I think we may be under attack."

-==IC: Lloyd==-

"Wha?" Lloyd asked, as the base shook again, causing everyone to be unstable on their feet. Lloyd grabbed onto the table for support, and then grabbed Rose's arm so she didn't fall down, and frowned, as he looked around.
"Do we have cameras to show what's going on outside?" Lloyd asked, as it helped to know what they were dealing with.

-==IC: Enemy Soldier==-

"The plan's working perfectly..." The soldier said, as he and his partner touched down outside the base, and started inside.
"Alright, let's go." The soldier said, as his partner stopped. The soldier turned around, and looked at his partner curiously.
"What's wrong? Let's go." The soldier said, and his partner walked up to him, and then turned to the base's entrance.
"The soldiers are trying to come into the base!" The partner yelled out, and turned to the soldier again.
"I am the rebel known as Ryan. And this is my mission." The partner said, as he pulled out a knife, and quickly stabbed the soldier.

OOC: </setup for future stuff>

(Kora): "Cameras are offline!"

"What's going on out there...?" Lloyd asked, and heard someone yell out in the distance.
"I'll go check that out." Lloyd said, and ran off in the direction of the sound...

*The rest of S.H.I.R.A Squad splits up and investigates other parts of the base, in case there are more attackers*

Lloyd ran to the entrance, and slowed down, as a man approached him.
"Who are you?" Lloyd asked, ready for anything.
"I'm Ryan... I just arrived here to join the Rebels; but the Soldiers started to attack. One of them tried to get in, but I stopped him..." The man said, as he motioned to the entrance, where a dead soldier laid.

"Looks like they got in." One of the soldiers said, and his partner laughed.
"Yeah. Now; should we take them down? They aren't fighting back, and we might just get a promotion!" The Soldier said, and the other soldier chuckled, and then agreed, as the two prepared another rocket each, and launched them at different parts of the base.

Lloyd yelled out, as another couple of explosions rocked the base.
"Gah... Come on!" Lloyd said to Ryan, and then ran off to try and find the others, and make sure they were okay.

OOC: This isn't intended to injure or kill anyone, by the way. =P

*Rose launches a comically large missile at the imperials from a window*

Lloyd blinked, as he found Rose shooting from a window.
"Why are you using a rocket launcher instead of a mech?" Lloyd asked Rose, slightly confused at that.

"Felt like it."

-==IC: Lloyd==-

"I see... Well we should probably get to our mechs and take these Empire Soldiers down properly." Lloyd said, and yawned again.
"I have a funny feeling this is going to be a long day..."

*Runs to her mech*

*Skids to a stop*

"THERE'S A MONKEY IN MY MECHA!"

Lloyd skidded to a stop as well, and then back tracked, and blinked.
"What the...?" Lloyd asked, raising an eyebrow at he saw the chimpanzee.
"... I have a feeling I don't even want to know..." Lloyd said, as he looked over toward his own mech.

*Rose shoos the monkey out of her mech and climbs in*

Lloyd opened the cockpit of his mech, and quickly got in, as he closed the cockpit, thankful there weren't any animals, as he quickly set up the Mech.
"Lloyd Cardigan, heading out!"

"Rose Hamilton, about to blow up three enemy mechs!"

-==IC: Lloyd==-

Lloyd opened up a comm link to Rose.
"Preliminary scans only show two... Wait. Hang on..." Lloyd said, as an icon appeared and blinked as it drew closer.
"A remote drone just appeared. Okay, looks like you were right, good job." Lloyd said with a smile and nod, as he waited for the platform to rise, though he looked up, and noticed that the hatch was trying to be opened, but wouldn't go past a certain point. Didn't exactly help that it was sparking, either.
"... Kora, we have a problem."

(Kora): "I see it. Attempting manual override now."

-==IC: Lloyd==-

"I don't know if that'll work..." Lloyd said, as the platform kept getting closer to the top, and the hatch still hadn't opened... The handle of the Outlook's sword popped out of it's holder, as Lloyd reached for it, ready to act if the hatch didn't open before they got closer to the top.

"Yeah..I can't override."

-==IC: Lloyd==-

"'k. Sorry Kora." Lloyd said, and the Outlook grabbed the handle of it's Beam sword, and Lloyd activated the jet boosters to rocket upwards, and then hovered there, as Lloyd had the Outlook slice the two sides of the hatch off, and then grabbed the two sides after quickly replacing his Beam Sword.
"Looks like some redecorating might need to take place." Lloyd commented, as the Outlook flew upwards, and then stopped it's climb, and hovered in the air, and then tossed the two pieces of steel into the empty ground near the base, and grabbed the gun, and then fired a laser straight through one of the fighter Mech.

"Hahaha! This is going great! And since we destroyed that hatch, they'll never be able to respond!" One of the Soldiers said with joy over the comm link to his partner, who rolled his eyes.
"That's true. Just don't get ahead of yourself." The Soldier warned, as the first soldier chuckled.
"There's literally no way they can... Wait; what's that?" The soldier asked, as he saw the beam sword cut through the steel, and then saw the Outlook fly out, and hover there.
"... Oh you've gotta be kidding m-" The soldier started to say, but got cut off by the beam that the Outlook fired, which shot straight through the soldier's mech, including the cockpit, and caused the mech to explode with very large explosions.

OOC: Casualties of war. =P

*Rose and Leo followed in their mechs, vaporising several enemies.*

However, shortly after, everything was gone.
"Huh; there were more backup than originally thought, I guess..."

OOC: Originally I had only thought there to be two, as it was going to be a distraction. But that works too. =P

(Shiza): "Whee! They went boom!"

"So the kid can speak with sanity. That's a surprise." Lloyd commented over the comm link with a slight chuckle.
"Guess we should head back." Lloyd said, and turned around to see the two fragments that used to be the hatch.
"... Kora's not gonna let me live that down, is she..."

(Shiza): "Oh, hello Mr. Coconut!"

"... Mister Coconut...? What are you talking about?" Lloyd asked, a blank look on his face once more.

"He's a pumpkin!"

-==IC: Lloyd==-

"Yep. That definitely was a miracle then... She's back to talking insanity." Lloyd muttered, as he slapped his hand to his face.

(Controller): "Land when ready, guys"

-==IC: Lloyd==-

Lloyd stepped onto the platform as it descended, and then nodded.
"Alright, let's wrap this up quickly, and get back to briefing." Lloyd said over the comm link.

(Vox): "So, what's this about a new rebel?"

-==IC: Ryan==-

"I may as well explain that, seeing as I'm the one who wishes to join." Ryan said as he walked into the briefing room after everyone else did.
"My name is Ryan, and I wish to join the Rebels. I arrived just as one of the soldiers attempted to breach the entrance, and killed him when he thought I was going to help him get in."

(Vox): "Well...good work. Maybe we'll finally be able to replace that incompetent Rose."

(Rose): "Standing right here..."

(Vox): "I know."

"I don't think she needs replacing. Besides; I believe you need all the help you can get at the moment; am I correct?" Ryan asked, as he looked at the General.

(Rose): "Thank you."

(Vox): "I suppose so."

"Alright then. So, how does one sign up for the rebels anyway, there any formal process?"

"You shot an Imp. You're in."

-==IC: Ryan==-

Ryan blinked, as he looked to see who said that.

OOC: Shiza? =P

OOC: No, that was Vox. Imp is short for Imperial.

OOC: But he stabbed the soldier. =P

OOC: Vox didn't see it. When he heard you killed a soldier, he assumed it was with a gun.

OOC: Ah, true. =P

"Alright then." Ryan said with a nod, as the magic canon being retconned Ryan's earlier response.

(Jared): "Welcome to S.H.I.R.A Squad."

Ryan nodded, and Lloyd sat down.
"Alright; now then, back to the briefing?"

(Shiza): "Let Shiza recap!"

"Oh great, the insane one recaps this..." Lloyd muttered with a sigh.

However, no-one seemed to be around, as Lloyd walked toward the hangar area.
"Kora, you up for filling us in on the way?" Lloyd asked over the comm link as he walked toward his Mech.

"We've got to destroy a dam to flood an enemy base, I think."

"Destroy a dam? You sure?" Lloyd asked, as he thought.
"Is there anything nearby or anything?"

OOC: Maybe Vox should get on the line to finish the briefing properly. =P

"A mecha production factory."

-==IC: Lloyd==-

"And... we have to destroy the dam?" Lloyd asked, as that didn't seem correct.

"Because of an Emp field. We need to blow up the dam since we can't enter the bas-EEEKKK!!!"

(Shiza): "Shiza guesses Kora doesn't like swimming pools in her room..."

Lloyd raised an eyebrow.
"What's wrong Kora? Why did it sound like there was a splash just now?"

OOC: We don't need to blow up the dam. =P Though, technically that could help too, I guess. Actually... That works perfectly. >=D Split into two teams, one being Ryan's solo infiltration to retrieve and capture the blueprints for the mechs; and one being everyone else, infiltrating the dam to blow it up.

I'm still saying no lasers in those ducts, though. =P

"There's a ****ing swimming pool where my bed used to be!!!!"

Lloyd raised an eyebrow at that.
"I didn't know you replaced your bed with a swimming pool. I guess everyone has their own definition of a 'water bed'."

"I didn't do it! But I think I know who d-"
(Shiza): "You like?"

"Oh geez; she's causing trouble again?" Lloyd asked, having a feeling who Kora thought it was.

(Jared): "Let's go, team."

Lloyd nodded, and got into the cockpit of his Mech quickly, and activated the controls of the mech, as he got ready.
"Lloyd Cardigan; ready to launch." Lloyd said, as he activated the jet boosters, and launched upwards, actually using the boosters to fly, though not for long because of gravity being in play and all.

"Jared Fisk, ready for launch!"
"Rose Hamilton, ready for launch!"
"Leo, ready for launch...."
"Shiza Tannana, riding a unicorn!"
*Luna says nothing*

Lloyd landed the Outlook, and looked around.
"Alright; let's go quickly." Lloyd said, and then looked to the right, as a black Mech appeared.
"Let's get this show on the road then." Ryan said with a smile, as Lloyd nodded, and ran toward where the dam was located...

(Jared): "The location has been programmed into your mechas."

Lloyd nodded, and ran toward where was indicated.

OOC: You're running this mission, remember?

OOC: I know. I just wanted you to buffer my post. =P

The team finally arrived near the dam, and Lloyd nodded.
"Alright; we'll need to find a place to hide our mechs, and then grab our parachutes, and make our way to rendezvous point." Lloyd said, as he looked around for a place to safely leave the Mechs, and then piloted over to there, and then got out of his mech, grabbing a silenced pistol in the process.
"Now remember; stealth is our biggest factor in this mission, we have to get in and out quickly. Set the timers for the explosives to be six minutes."

OOC: He means six minutes now, but... =P

S.H.I.R.A began scanning the area.

Lloyd didn't take the time, as he simply crouched down, and ran forward, motioning to the others to follow, as there weren't any guards in sight so far.

OOC: I'm just gonna make it easy on us, and have everything be easy until we get closer to the dam. =P

S.H.I.R.A. Squad followed.

Lloyd crept through the multiple facilities that were near the dam, but still didn't see anyone yet.
"What, did everyone go for a coffee break at the same time?" Lloyd asked over comm link, as he continued onward, toward the dam.

(Shiza): ♫ "Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way!"♫

"Someone stop the kid from getting us caught please?" Lloyd asked, wondering who exactly authorized her to go on this mission, as he continued moving forward.
"It's weird; we're still not running into any trouble..."

♫ "Grandma got run over by a reindeer..."♫

"I mean it, someone shut her up before we get caught." Lloyd said with a sigh, as the group neared the Dam.
"We're nearing the rendezvous point... Likely if anything goes wrong, it'll go wrong then."

*Shiza begins yodeling*

Lloyd backtracked, and clamped a hand over Shiza's mouth personally.
"Now let's go infiltrate a dam." Lloyd said, as the group neared the point where they'd jump and use the parachutes to safely land at the bottom of the dam.

OOC: Everyone else should go first. Maybe excluding Rose; I have a plan so that she can get some brownie points. Though this whole stunt's likely to really get Vox mad. =P

*Shiza hums happily*

S.H.I.R.A used its rockets to go down first. After it went Luna and Leo, and finally Jared. Rose was having some difficulties with her parachute.

Ryan smiled, and jumped off the dam, and activated his parachute halfway down, the parachute obscuring his brief smirk.

-==IC: Lloyd==-

Lloyd noticed as Rose had some trouble with her parachute, and then took it off, and handed her his own.
"Here; at least it'll work." Lloyd said, though he didn't notice the soldiers that were now running toward the two of them.

OOC: Don't have her jump unless you really want me to do my crazy stunt, and yet still survive. If you want to see it, I'm sure there's a video of the parachute scene from the Goldeneye remake game. =P

OOC: God moding is allowed...

IC: *fumbles trying to get it on*

OOC: I know. I just would have a very long talking to from Vox when we got back. =P

"Here; lemme help..." Lloyd said, and successfully got the parachute onto Rose, and then turned around to see quite a number of guards surrounding the two of them.
"Stay where you are! You're surrounded!" The guards stated the obvious, as Lloyd frowned.
"Your parachute! Give it to us!" The guard said, and Lloyd pulled it off slowly, and held it out toward the guard slowly. The guard walked toward Lloyd slowly, but then paused.
"The girl's parachute too." The guard said, and Lloyd frowned, but nodded, as he walked toward Rose, and undid her parachute again, and pulled it off as well, and handed the guard Rose's original parachute first. However, as the guard turned to pass the parachute to his partner, Lloyd grabbed Rose's arm and pulled her closer, and then held out his Parachute toward him, with the handle facing inward. The guard hesitantly grabbed the pack of the parachute, and then Lloyd pulled the handle, causing the parachute to activate, and Lloyd then grabbed Rose, and held her so that she wouldn't get hurt, as the two of them jumped off the side of the dam with no parachutes.

OOC: Told ya it was crazy. =P

(Rose): "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?"

Lloyd was going to respond, but they crashed into the water before he could. Lloyd had spun around so he hit the water first, however, and the two of them tumbled toward the bank near the dam, while somehow still surviving the fall.
"I didn't think yours would work." Lloyd panted, and then sheepishly smiled.
"Sorry about that." Lloyd said, as he heard a chuckle, and looked over to see Ryan standing there.
"Trying to show me up, are you?" Ryan said with a laugh, as Lloyd panted still.
"Let's just get a move on." Lloyd said, and Ryan interrupted him.
"Wait; for the rebels?" Ryan asked, and Lloyd nodded.
"Of course. Always for the rebels."

If you haven't noticed yet, this dam mission is heavily inspired by Goldeneye, and some of the dialogue in this mission will be from Goldeneye. =P

"...Great. As if this wasn't hard enough, now I have to infiltrate an enemy base while soaked to the bone. Though..that was a pretty impressive stunt."

"Thanks." Lloyd said with a smile to Rose, and then frowned.
"Yeah; that wasn't the best outcome that could have happened." Lloyd said with a frown, and Ryan tossed them a towel.
"Don't worry; I come prepared." Ryan said, and Lloyd raised and eyebrow.
"I'm going to grab the blueprints for the mechs from the factory; I'll meet you inside the dam shortly." Ryan said, and Lloyd nodded.

(Rose): ...Bunny towels?

Lloyd raised an eyebrow, and then shook his head, but began to dry himself off anyway.
"Let's hurry and get in there, they're likely waiting." Lloyd mentioned, as he finished drying off.

"Right behind you. Unless you'd rather watch my back?"

Lloyd paused, and frowned.
"Uhh... Did you happen to bring any weapons? It seems I either dropped my pistol up on the dam, or dropped it in the water..." Lloyd said with a frown.

"If I had any weapons on me, you could see them."

"True." Lloyd said, and frowned.
"Well then, I'll go first. At least I've got my knife... And we shouldn't run into anyone until we meet up with the others." Lloyd said, as he walked forward, and pulled his knife out quickly, ready for anything.

*Rose follows him*

Lloyd entered into the main area, and saw that the hatch to one of the ventilation shafts was open.
"Looks like they went that way..." Lloyd said, and thought for a second.
"Say, do you know anything about close combat? Just curious, since you always seem to use guns."

".......I'll steal a gun from one of the guards."

"Alright then..." Lloyd said, as a guard walked into the building, and saw the two. Lloyd turned around and raised an eyebrow, as the guard's eyes widened, and before the guard could react, Lloyd ran up, and drove his elbow into the Guard's chin, which knocked him out pretty quickly. Lloyd then grabbed the guard's gun, and tossed it to Rose.
"There you go." Lloyd said with a smile.
"Consider it a very late present for the holidays last year." Lloyd said, and walked up to the duct.
"Who goes first? Guy with knife, or the girl with the gun?"

"Ladies first! So I guess you're going ahead."

"Uh." Lloyd said, and just looked at Rose.
"You're kinda the one of the female variety here."

"Yes, you do seem to notice that about me."

*Climbs into the vent*

"Oof...this vent isn't really human-sized..."

"Yeah; we have to go this way, though." Lloyd said, as he climbed in after Rose.
"From the schematics, this should lead straight into the part of the Facility that leads to the part of the dam that we need to get to, though I think there might be a lockdown right now. Hopefully the others are disabling that now."

*clang* "OW!"

"Watch your head." Lloyd cautioned Rose, as he stopped and waited for Rose to move forward again.

"Yeah, I'll do that."

"Alright, that's good then." Lloyd said, as the two of them started down the duct again.

"Where are we going?"

"To meet up with the others?"

"where are -oof - they?"

"They should be just ahead..." Lloyd said, though Lloyd looked past Rose for a second.
"Watch out!" Lloyd said, as he saw an unopened grate ahead of her, and stopped moving.

Rose froze.

"Can you undo that grate? Just push on it if you need to..." Lloyd explained, though wasn't quite sure why there was a grate that wasn't off...

OOC: We went the wrong way. =P But don't worry; I have an idea. =P

*Rose punches the grate out*

Lloyd breathed in, but then nodded.
"Quickly, before any guards show up."

*Rose jumps down, gun at the ready*

Lloyd quickly moved out of the duct as well, and looked around, as he raised an eyebrow.
"This is..." Lloyd said, as he saw that this was pretty much the heart of the dam. He looked up, as he saw that Ryan had somehow just arrived.
"There's a second entrance from the Mech facility. I used that to get in here just now... Where are you guys?" Ryan asked over the comm link, and Lloyd waved his arms, as Ryan looked down.
"Good. Now plant the charges on the tanks down there; we can activate them remotely, later." Ryan explained over the comm link, as Lloyd nodded, and moved toward the tanks, as he pulled out the remote mines.

OOC: We beat the rest of the squad here. =P

(Jared): "Does she HAVE to walk on her hands?"

(Kora): "Just be grateful she stopped singing."

Lloyd walked forward, and carefully attached one of the mines to one of the tanks.
"1..." Lloyd counted, as he went over to the next one, and did the same.
"2..." Lloyd then headed for the third tank, and placed another mine on it.
"3...." Lloyd turned to the one next to it, and placed a mine on that as well.
"That's 4... Nearly done..." Lloyd said while he attached the fifth mine, and walked over to the last tank there.
"And that's 6." Lloyd finished, as he attached the mine.
"Alright; let's rendezvous with Ryan, hope the rest of the Squad shows up soon, and get out of this place ASAP." Lloyd said, as he walked in the direction of the next room...

OOC: Have them meet up quickly, theoretically we'd need backup, but... Just stick near Lloyd. =P

*Rose follows Lloyd*

Lloyd walked through, and stopped as a bunch of guards smirked, as their leader held a gun to Ryan's head.
"Throw down your weapons! Or I shoot him..." The leader said, and Lloyd frowned, and whispered over the comm link.
"Mission status pizza... abort infiltration."

OOC: Now would be the time for the Calvary to arrive, only to have to do the same thing. =P That, or they can take an alternate route out.

Also, I'm making up the term to mean 'complete'. =P Aka, it's a 'get out of here as far as you can' phrase. =P

*Rose holds up a live grenade*
"I will use this."

Lloyd slapped a palm to his face.
"Rose! If you use that here, we might get killed along with everyone else!" Lloyd said in desperation, given that they were right near by the tanks.
"I'd listen to your friend." The leader said with a smirk, as he tilted his head to the side. Lloyd noticed a nearby box on wheels, and made his way over to it, leading Rose near it to.
"I will give you to the count of ten to put down your weapons, or I will be forced to shoot your friend." The leader said, with a smirk.
"10..."

*Rose throws the smoke grenade*

However, that does nothing thanks to the air conditioning that is active for once. Even if it's weird to have the air conditioning on.
"9... 8... 7..." The leader said with a smile, as Lloyd began to roll to box to the side exit, which apparently lead outside. He nudged Rose to follow him slowly, and one of the soldiers noticed and frowned, as he fired off a couple shots at the two, all missing wildly, as the leader growled.
"You imbecile! You could kill us all!" The leader said, as Lloyd continued to move the crate toward the exit...

OOC: Again; this scene is out of Goldeneye, just as a mention. =P

Rose followed him.


(Jared, outside): "What a surprise...Lloyd and Rose are late as usual."

Lloyd motioned for Rose's gun quickly, he had a plan, given what Ryan had said earlier, but it would require very precise timing... They didn't have 6 minutes, or even 3 minutes. Lloyd then noticed a tank nearby, and smiled. Or did they...?

Rose handed him her gun.

Lloyd looked behind them, as he saw they were very close to exit.
"6... 5... 4... 3..." They were nearly there; he just needed to get a little closer...
"2..." Lloyd shook his head, and then tossed away his knife, and then place the gun on the ground.
"... Too late." The leader said, and then shot Ryan. Lloyd stared in shock, but then frowned, as the leader smirked, and began to approach the two of them.
"You let your friend die, and now you will die too." The leader said, as Lloyd quickly grabbed the gun, and then fired at the tank.
"Go on!" Lloyd yelled to Rose, as he ran up to where Ryan was, and picked him up quickly, as he ran out, avoiding the bullets that were now flying from those who hadn't been blown across the room. As the two of them made it a safe distance away, and a good height away from the dam, the three minutes had passed, as the whole plan was blown sky-high. Lloyd grabbed Ryan's Portable computer, and frowned, as he shook his head.

"Is he dead?"

"Seems like it..." Lloyd said, as he frowned, and shook his head again.

"Our first casualty..."

"Yeah..." Lloyd said with a frown, and then looked around.
"We should find the others..."

OOC: By the way, Ryan's on the ground, we're leaving him. =P

Rose followed him.

"The Empire ambushed us. They had him hostage; and then killed him. We only barely escaped..." Lloyd said as he shook his head.

"However, we did destroy the dam, so in a way, the mission was a success... Even though it came with a price."

Jared nodded. "OK...back to base, people."

Lloyd nodded, as they headed back to the mechs.

Lloyd got into his mech, and then activated the comm link to Rose.
"How are you holding up, Rose?"

"I've never had an ally die...only faceless enemies."

"Yeah... But we can't let it get to us; that's what the Empire wants..." Lloyd said with a frown to Rose.

"When we kill one of them...they could have friends...a family....people that love them. Are we bad people?"

"No... We're not bad people... This is a war. It's not something that is the best solution, but..." Lloyd said with a frown.

*Rose is silent*

"You still there, Rose?" Lloyd asked, wondering if the comm link was working.

"yeah...I'm just thinking."

"Thinking?" Lloyd asked, not quite sure what she was thinking about.

"About when we kill the enemy..."

"What about that?" Lloyd asked, mostly for curiosity's sake, as he had a feeling what.

"Those are people...they're not evil, they're just doing what they think is right....They have family..."
(Jared): "Approaching base."

"Some of them, that's true for; but not all of them. If all of them believed that; we wouldn't be in this predicament in the first place." Lloyd said, as they neared the base.

*Rose is silent*

(Jared): "Transmit codes now."

"Lloyd Cardigan, BLD-000 Outlook returning." Lloyd said, as he piloted his Mech toward the gate.

"land when ready."

Lloyd piloted his mech onto the platform, and then waited as it descended.

*Rose steps out of her mech*
"Cover for me at debriefing. I'm going for a walk in the forest. I need some time to think..."

Lloyd frowned, but then nodded.
"Alright. Just, don't get into trouble, okay?"

OOC: *Is wondering if I should wait a couple missions to advance the plot, just to let things sink in, or advance it now*

A cloaked man walked through the empire headquarters, and bypassed the security guard outside the Emperor's room, as he rapped on the door four times.

*Rose walks to the forest*

(Shiza): "Why is everyone sad?"

(Chargas): "Enter."

"... The plan is proceeding very well, sir." The cloaked man said, with a slight grunt.
"They fell into our trap. And the next part of the plan can be arranged now. However, whether it starts right now, or waits a little bit, that is up to you, my lord."

Lloyd sighed, a frown on his face.
"Ryan was killed in an ambush after we set all the mines."

(Shiza): "So? He'll be OK soon."

-==IC: Lloyd==-

Lloyd growled, as he snapped.
"He's dead; he won't just be 'okay'; he's gone, you got that, you little kid? And you just sang while it happened." Lloyd yelled at Shiza, not caring if he hurt her feelings right at the moment, as she didn't seem to realize the scope of things.

"Of course he's dead. But he'll get better soon."

"Do you even understand what being dead means?! Being dead means you don't 'get better'; you're dead; destroyed; gone; finished; you aren't alive anymore; you are not able to do anything, because you're not living." Lloyd said, getting frustrated with this little kid.

"...........But...when we kill the bad guys, they come back..."

"Well we must not actually kill them then. And if you mean mechs, then multiple people pilot those, and even then, the mechs can be rebuilt. People can't."

"...Why not? That isn't fair..."

"Because Mechs are machines; artificial things. People aren't machines, as I kindly explained to Sir Flirts-a-lot." Lloyd said, as he turned away from Shiza.

*bursts into tears*

Lloyd sighed, and frowned, as he turned toward Shiza.
"It's okay..." Lloyd said, as he sighed again.
"I'm sorry I blew up at you like that."

*sniffs*
"Why do people die?"

"Most times it's just the way life goes..." Lloyd said with a frown, as he inwardly growled at the whole scenario.

OOC: So... People affected so far by Ryan, which is only going to grow... 3. Lloyd's technically taking it hard, but I'm also including later on in the plot as well. =P

Lloyd walked up to Rose with a half smile on his face.
"Hey..." Lloyd said, as he sighed.

"Hi."

"How are you holding up? Did that forest trip help?" Lloyd asked, as he honestly didn't know what to say right at the moment.

"What? Oh, yeah, it was fine. Why wouldn't it be fine? That's a silly question." *flustered*

Lloyd was about to ask why she seemed to be blushing, but decided to ignore that.
"How are you doing, though?" Lloyd asked, recalling the conversation in the mechs.

"Hm? Oh, er, I'm, uh, doing better."

(Soldier): "Ah, welcome back, General Tyrr. How was your walk?"

(Adrian): "I-it was fine! Why wouldn't it be fine? That's a silly question." *flustered*

"Alright then." Lloyd said with a brief smile, and slightly paused.
"You might not have much trouble from Shiza anymore."

OOC: Permission to kill Adrian? =)

"Oh no, what did you do to her?"

OOC: No. =P

"I kinda got mad at her nonchalant attitude to people dying... And kinda yelled at her." Lloyd said, becoming more and more meek as he spoke for some reason, as a bead of sweat ran down his face.
"But to be honest; I didn't mean any harm..."

OOC: Not really the kind of this a good guy would do, but sure.

IC: "...Oh...."

OOC: Who said it'd be a good guy? =P

"She kinda calmed down a bit, but... I don't think we'll have any more problems with monkeys in the mechs." Lloyd said, and then frowned.
"This whole situation... It's hitting me hard as well." Lloyd admitted, and shook his head.
"There was nothing we could have done, but... Still. It shows just how evil the Empire can be..." Lloyd said with a sigh, and then half-smiled again.
"But at least we survived, right?" Lloyd asked Rose.

The cloaked man exited the Emperor's room, and smiled malevolently.
Now it begins. The man thought, as he walked down the halls, and narrowed his eyes, as he walked toward the one known as General Tyrr.
"You are under arrest." The man said, a scowl on his face.

(Rose): "Right".

(Adrian): "Of course. May I ask why?"

"So; what now?" Lloyd asked, not sure what to do.

"Fraternizing with the Enemy, and promoting Rebel activity." The cloaked man said with a growl, as he grabbed General Tyrr's arms roughly, and forced him into the nearby wall.
"And guess what; because of that, you don't get a phone call or a lawyer. Too bad for you." The cloaked man taunted, as he roughly led Adrian down the hall, and then pushed him down the stairs that led to the prison cells.

"I don't deny speaking with that beautiful rebel, but I never promoted any rebel activity."

"Governor 2892..Be cautious. The more complex your schemes, the more likely they will fail."
(Chargas): "Not to worry, Masters. This is sure to succeed."
"The only sure thing in this universe is the stupidity of lesser creatures such as yourself."

(Rose): "Go to bed? It's almost midnight."

"That's what they all said." The cloaked man growled, as he grabbed Adrian by the collar and quickly handcuffed him, as he tossed him into his jail cell.
"Now I believe you have Rebel information. And you will give it to me." The man said, as he picked up a nearby chain, and walked toward Adrian, after locking the door.

"True... It's been a long and painful day..." Lloyd said with a nod, and then smiled.
"And don't worry about the alarm tomorrow." Lloyd said enigmatically, as he headed toward his room, and paused.

"Not much, but it'll replace the one you had to use earlier. I got a bunch from the Empire a while back..." Lloyd whispered, keeping his eyes peeled to make sure Leo didn't find out.

"It's been a long day... Good night." Lloyd said with another smile, as he walked into his room, and closed the door, and made it three steps to his bed, before he collapsed onto said bed, and fell promptly asleep.

OOC: There are no counter techniques. The empire assumed it did the brainwashing so well that the Super Soldiers COULDN'T turn rouge.

IC: Adrian yawned. "Is this going to take much longer?"

"It's an anti-serum that undoes what the Super Soldier formula does to you. The Empire has been secretly making it, just in case the rebels got a hold of it somehow." The man said, and walked over to Adrian.
"And now you will have it used on you."

OOC: I assume the hooded figure is lying, since the supersoldiers are genetically created.

Lloyd yawned, as he opened his eyes, and got out of bed with a smile.
Good; it's 5:59. Lloyd said, and as he opened the door, the alarm went off. Lloyd then walked over to the door to Rose's room, and then opened it with a smile.
"Rose; time to get up."

OOC: You can't change a persons genes...
IC: The anti-serum did nothing.

"Rose; it's time to get up." Lloyd said, resisting the urge to laugh, as he saw the girl on the floor.
"What, couldn't make it two seconds to get to the bed?" Lloyd asked, as he leaned against the doorway, and waited for Rose to get up.

IC: The wall behind the cloaked figure exploded. fifty masked people charged in, shooting at the figure.

The cloaked guy quickly dodged, and then disappeared.
"You're all under arrest. You have gotten the Death Penalty, for acting as rebels." The cloaked guy said, as two knives appeared from under his sleeve, and he ran toward the people, and started to hack and slash at them.

"We're not going to school, Rose." Lloyd said, with a sigh, as he walked over to the sleeping girl, and shook her gently on her shoulder.
"Come on, wake up, Rose."

(Chargas): "What is going on here?"

(Masked figure #17): "Lord Chargas Sir! This man has illegally arrested and tortured the General!"

"That is not true." The cloaked man said, as he produced his credentials, and showed them to the masked figure.

"I'm not planning on hurting you..." Lloyd said with an exasperated look on his face.
"If you'd wake up, you'd see it's just me; Lloyd!"

(Chargas): "I've never seen this man in my life. Take him to my private torture chamber for interrogation."

The cloaked man rolled his eyes, but followed Chargas, though shrugged off any people who tried to forcibly make him follow with a glare.

Lloyd smiled at that.
"So, you with us now, sleepy head?" Lloyd teased, as he stood up, and looked to the door.
"So, let's go, otherwise we might get put on janitor duty again."

(Chargas): "Change in plan. I have found a new use for general Tyrr, so he must be kept alive...for now. Proceed to the next phase."

"Fine; just... remember this. He has the potential to defect... And we must not allow that to happen." The man said, and nodded as his black hair fell in front of his eyes, as the man smiled malevolently.
"And this will work out well. Just remember to keep the good General away from the dungeons..." The man said, as he walked out of the room.

OOC: Now, or still wait? I'm not sure what you meant by next phase, as the next phase theoretically is the mission where things go... South. So, if you don't have anything planned, then we can continue; but if not, then I'll just say that this happens later or something. =)

Lloyd smiled, and then walked out of the room, and headed for the briefing room, though he did keep making sure that Rose actually followed him.

"Emperor; you know that we haven't gotten the procedure for permanently eliminating them down correctly, right? He could turn into our worst enemy if left unchecked." The man said with a frown.

OOC: If you're planning some big turncoat scheme, You may wish to wait until my plot gets a little further in. =P

(Shiza): "Lloyd and Rosie, sitting in a tree.."

(Vox): "IF we can get on with the briefing?"

"I have some info that could be of use to the Rebels; have the members 'Lloyd Cardigan', and 'Rose Hamilton' meet me at the Casino Field tonight." The man said, masking his voice as he sent that message to General Vox.

OOC: That would be before the briefing.

Lloyd was now a bright shade of red, as he nodded to Vox to start the briefing.

"We have two separate missions today. First, Lloyd and that screw-up" *Glares at Rose* "Will meet with an unknown informant at the Casino Field tonight."
(Shiza): "I bet it's a trap!"

*Ignoring Shiza* "The rest of you, we've discovered some disturbing evidence that the Empire is using public schools to conduct brainwashing experiments. You will infiltrate the Renvor College, and search for proof in the following locations: The nurse's office, the chem lab, the computer lab, the headmaster's office, and the staff lounges. If you find proof, send it to Kora and destroy the college."

"Alright then. Will the missions be happening simultaneously? Because it might be an idea to have some backup; not directly present; but in waiting just in case we don't report in at a certain time." Lloyd said with a frown.

"You can take care of yourself, and I don't really care if we lose Rose."

"Do you think we can afford to lose any more members of the team? Besides; I would care if anything happened to Rose." Lloyd said with a frown.

"We have no choice. We don't have enough agents."

"If the missions aren't simultaneous, that won't be a problem." Lloyd said, as he looked at General Vox with a frown.

Lloyd scanned the area, as they touched down to the ground, the darkness of night obscuring most anything that was nearby.
"Alright, let's go..." Lloyd said, as he climbed out of his mech, and then walked forward to where the meeting was supposed to take place.

OOC: How long do you presume this storyline arc might last? Just wondering. =)(Not meaning mine; I mean this arc in general. =P)

*Rose looks around*

OOC: Before we continue this, how fast do you suppose my mysterious person could travel? Faster than the others could react? =P

OOC: Fairly fast, I'd say.

Lloyd walked forward, and stopped, surprised, as he heard a slicing sound.
"Ah!" Lloyd gasped, as he grabbed his side, winced, and looked around quickly.
How? Lloyd thought, as he heard laughter from around the area.
"Rose; be careful!" Lloyd said, as looked over to her, as a mysterious figure appeared behind the girl, and slammed his hand down on her neck before she could react. Lloyd's eyes widened, and he reached for his knife... However, the person appeared in front of him quickly.
"Too slow." The person said, as he sliced at Lloyd's torso diagonally upwards before he could react.
W-what...? Lloyd thought, as he fell to the ground, trying to comprehend this person's speed.
"Hmph; you're weaker than I thought." The person said, and Lloyd looked up as the figure walked into the light, and flipped his hair back so Lloyd could see his face, and Lloyd's eyes widened, and then narrowed.
"H-how...?" Lloyd asked, As the figure, now revealed to be Ryan, smirked.
"Simple; I never got killed. That was simply a trick to make you think I was dead... So I could destroy you all." Ryan said, and walked over to where Rose was.
"Get away from her!" Lloyd yelled out, and then gasped with another wince as he tried to move, but found that the wound wouldn't allow that. Ryan smirked, as he turned his head to the pilot.
"You can't do anything in that condition; so why are you threatening me?" Ryan asked, and picked up the girl, and walked back to his Mech.
"See ya." Ryan said, as he climbed into his Mech. Lloyd growled, and pulled his Portable Computer forward, and tapped a few icons on the screen. As Ryan was about to fly up in his Mech, a laser blast flew past his mech, nearly missing the mech's shoulder.
"Bad move." Ryan said, as the Mech whirled around, and fired a laser shot straight through the cockpit of the Outlook; which caused it to explode in front of Lloyd's eyes.
"Hmph; that was a very bad move." Ryan muttered, as the mech lifted off the ground, and then sped back toward the Empire HQ.

OOC: I'll have her moved to another outpost, of course. =P

And now I'll need a new Mech; I'll make up that profile soon. =P

*unconscious, Rose moans*

Ryan headed back to the Empire base, the green Empire insignia on his uniform standing out, as he smirked.

"Let's get three things down first. One, you will tell me everything about the rebels. Two, the rebels don't care about you, they simply used you. Three, because of the last fact, the rebels will not rescue you. Partly because the only one who would seem to want to rescue you, is more than likely dead right now."

"One: If you think I'll talk, you're even dumber thank you look.
Two: Actually, I know for a fact that only one of the rebels doesn't like me.
Three: You don't know him the way I do."

Lloyd laid in one of the beds, unconscious. He had survived, barely, but it was currently unknown when he would actually wake up. His mech had been destroyed beyond repair and recovery, but the first thing would be for him to wake up.

OOC: Who would be there? I need someone to remind Lloyd what happened. This oughta be interesting for Character Development. =P

OOC: Shiza, Kora, and Jared.

IC: Rose looked up as the door opened.
"back alrea-" *sees Adrian come through* "-dy?"

Ryan followed shortly after, grabbed Adrian by the back of the neck, and dragged him out, as he tossed him against the wall.
"You're not allowed in there, sorry."

OOC: Didn't he recommend not doing that? Given that he'll likely help Rose escape? =P

To say this, I don't want Rose escaping yet, would destroy my attempts at char dev for Lloyd. =P

"I was ordered to handle the interrogation."

"So you can smuggle her out? I don't think so." Ryan said with his eyes narrowed, barring the entrance still.
"This is not an interrogation that a rebel sympathizer has any business dealing with."

*Smirks* "So, you'll disobey a direct order from Chargas?"

OOC: Rose isn't escaping for a while.

"Until I get confirmation from the emperor himself, no good-for-nothing rebel sympathizer who thinks everyone except Chargas to be below him will handle this interrogation." Ryan said with a frown.

"This was." Ryan stated, as he slammed his knee into Rose's chest quickly.

OOC: Imperials train their agents to say nothing under torture. Rebels train their agents to be sarcastic under torture. =P

"Sarcasm will get you nowhere." Ryan said, as he slammed Rose's head against the wall; not enough to truly damage her, but with enough force that it wasn't just a playful shove.

OOC: I'm surprised though. =P

Lloyd groaned, as he slowly flickered his eyes open, not sure what was going on at the moment, or where he was.

"Where'd the pickle go?"

"Hmph; you're in a pickle yourself; that's the least of your concerns. Now tell me what the mech is, and what it's for."

OOC: Rose's attitude never shows up when she's talking to Lloyd. =P

And all that, and no-one reacts to Lloyd waking up. *Shakes head in joking disapproval* =P

"Yeah; well there's just me." Ryan said with narrowed eyes, as he kicked out at Rose's stomach.

"Still saying you aren't feeling pain?" Ryan asked, as he tilted his head to the side.

Lloyd moaned once more, this time in annoyance.
Of course Shiza stays here to annoy me when I wake up...

Lloyd groaned, and moved his arm up slowly to try and wave Shiza away.

In response, Ryan kicked at Rose's legs, to try and knock her down to the ground.

(Rose): *weak* "Y..you little...b...******..."

"And you're a rebel." Ryan said, as he glared down at Rose.
"Hmph; I'm still not going to kill you. Not yet."

Lloyd sighed, as he looked around the room to see who else was there.

(Jared): "Hey. You're awake."

Lloyd blinked, but slowly nodded.

"What happened?"

"Ryan happened..." Lloyd said with a groan, as he tried to recall exactly what happened, and blinked, as he looked around the room, and froze as he both didn't see someone in the room, and a sudden memory crossed his mind.
"... Where's Rose?"

"She...wasn't there."

Lloyd stayed silent, and then sighed, and shook his head as he looked down.
"I should've done something... Gah." Lloyd said with a slight wince, as he pounded the bed with his hand for a moment, and then settled down for a second, before he remembered something else.
"... The Outlook?"

"Your mech was..."

Lloyd sighed, as he finished the sentence.
"Destroyed... I had hoped that I had dreamed up that last part, especially when I started getting hit with wet noodles shortly afterward..." Lloyd said, as he sighed again, and took new interest in staring at the opposite wall.

"...You're more upset about losing your mech than losing your girlfriend?"

OOC: Cue "She's not my girlfriend" denial. =P

Lloyd blushed, as he turned to who spoke.
"S-she's not..." Lloyd said, and blushed again.
"Besides; I'm not upset about my Mech... I just wanted to confirm that everything that I remembered actually happened..." Lloyd said, as he frowned, a sad look on his face, as he shook his head.
"I shouldn't've let that happen... I said I'd protect her..."

Lloyd just continued his session of 'stare at the wall'.

Mecha Model: Silencer RBN-003
Mecha Weapons: Twin beam sabers, twin laser guns, twin shoulder mounted rocket launchers(Holds x15 Rockets each)
Mecha Appearance: The mech's appearance was based heavily off the original Outlook, however, the differences that the Silencer has can be seen; as it looks kinda like it's been streamlined, aside from the helmet, which has seven spikes that point back toward the back of the mech.

RBM(Rebel Number) 000 is the Outlook. Which, needs it's profile updated, as it's not the Outlook Silencer, I just made it be the Outlook, so stuff like this could happen. ;)

"Needles...?" Lloyd asked, as he raised an eyebrow at Leo.

(Leo): "Crazy school nurse..."

Lloyd's eyebrow went higher, but he did nod, before he took back to staring at the wall.

"...what's up? Where's Rose?"

Lloyd frowned, though he didn't take his eyes off the wall. His eyelids closed slightly, making his face look sad.
"She... She was captured..." Lloyd said without looking away, as he shook his head once more.
"I should never have let it happen..."

"Love NEVER ends well."

"I'm no- Oh whatever... Doesn't matter now..." Lloyd said with a frown, as he turned his eyes back to the wall, and shook his head again, as he narrowed his eyes, and looked back.
"I will say this, though... When I get my hands on Ryan, he will die for good."

"He was the one before the ambush." Lloyd said with narrowed eyes.
"He faked his death, and was just using us. It's a good thing the mission started so quickly after he arrived, otherwise he might have found out about some of our pending missions, or other stuff."

Lloyd's eyebrow twitched, as he judged the distance between the two of them.

Lloyd growled, and shook his head, and then turned back to the wall.

Luna looked at him sadly, then turned to leave.

Lloyd shook his head, with a frustrated sigh, and then slowly stood up, and started taking the medical stuff off.

(Jared): "So...rescue mission?"

"One way or another, we are rescuing Rose, and killing Ryan for good." Lloyd said with a wince as he ripped off the multiple indicators, and narrowed his eyes.

Ryan walked into the Empire prisoner cell, and smirked.
"Wake up."

*Rose groans and wakes up*

Ryan smirked then.
"It's your lucky day; you're getting a change of scenery."

"Stand up." Ryan said with narrowed eyes.

*Rose stands*

Ryan then added another set of handcuffs to Rose, as well as cuffing her feet as well.
"Follow me."

OOC: If you have Adrian follow, I want a kill-on-sight order.

IC: Rose followed silently.

Ryan smirked, as he led Rose to a darkened room, with the only thing lit up being a black van.
"Get in."

In response, since Rose had switched to the Asterisk Language, Ryan shoved her into said van, and hopped in, as the van closed it's doors, and then drove off through a secret passage, and then out of the headquarters.

OOC: I mean it, too. =P

"What, no talking? It'll help make the trip shorter."

Ryan then turned to a monitor and raised an eyebrow.
"Who order the Copy Pasta?"

Ryan sighed, as his eyebrow twitched.
"What do you want to eat, at least?"

"Your entrails."

"Ha, ha, very funny. I wasn't joking. You need to eat."

"So you  can drug my food? I wasn't born yesterday."

"Why would we do that? Truth serum doesn't actually exist, after all, and we need you alive... For now."

"Governor... what are you planning? It seems foolish to rely on human emotions to achieve our ends."

(Chargas): "Ah, but Masters...love is the most powerful force of all. And I will use it to crush the rebels."

"See that you do. Your planet is expendable."

OOC: Any stuff for Lloyd? I never got a response. =P And Lloyd needs the Silencer before he goes and tries to get Rose back, likely way before he should move given that he was just critically injured. =P

Ryan paused, as he looked at the screen, and raised an eyebrow, before smirking.
"Ah... Apparently the Empire just confirmed the death of your little friend. They saw the Rebels burying a casket just outside their base." Ryan said with a malevolent smile.

OOC: Once we get back to the rebels, I'll explain that away. =P

"New mech...?" Lloyd said, kinda surprised, and then smiled.
"Thanks Kora." Lloyd said with a nod, as he walked up to it.
"What's it called...?" Lloyd asked, kinda curious.

"Why? Because you know there's no chance of you being rescued now?" Ryan continued to prod, as he smiled malevolently.

"The Silencer, huh...?" Lloyd asked, as he looked it over, and a sweatdrop then ran down his face.
"... Kora... You based this off the Outlook, didn't you?" Lloyd asked, as it looked like an upgraded Outlook.
"Not that that's bad or anything." Lloyd added with a smile, as he thought for a moment.
"I think I have an idea of how we can throw the Empire off..." Lloyd said with a smirk.
"They made us think Ryan was dead? Time for us to return the favour."

OOC: And that's what's called 'whoops'. =P

"Do we have a spare casket? If we bury it, preferably full of rocks, but if we have a human shaped dummy, we could put it in there to fool their scanners. Make them think I'm dead. That way we'd have the surprise factor." Lloyd said, as he ran through possible ways of making this work.
"We could make it seem like a brand new pilot was piloting the Silencer, and since it isn't the Outlook, we could pull that off." Lloyd said, and then paused.
"Is there a way to block communications from outside the Squad, at least for the Silencer? That way we could pull that off even easier."

Ryan then smirked
"I'm taking it there might be another reason for you being so upset? Possibly I was wrong about earlier." Ryan mused, and then smiled malevolently, as he secretly flipped a recording switch.
"Do you, or did you, love Lloyd Cardigan?"

OOC: Yeah, yeah, this is mostly just ammo to use against Adrian. =P

(Shiza): "Shiza has a life-size doll! Shiza will go get it!"

(Kora): "I'll encrypt it so no one else can hear us."

"D-dress-up...?" Lloyd said, as his eyebrow twitched once more.

Ryan smiled malevolently, and saved the recording, as he nodded.
"Alright then. Thank you." Ryan said, as he walked to the other section of the van, chuckling to himself on his victory.
Perfect. Ryan said, as he plugged the recording device into his personal computer, created a copy, and then sent the copy to the Empire servers. He then decided to send another copy of the file over to Adrian, mostly just for kicks.

"Any idea where Rose could be? If they're expecting a return attack, I'd doubt they'd keep her at the main base..."

*Rose sobs*

"They'd probably send her to some secret prison.."

"Alright... But where would those headquarters be then...?" Lloyd asked, as he thought for a moment, trying to figure out where it would be.

(Kora): "Incoming transmission...from the Empire!"

Lloyd frowned, and quickly ducked behind cover, in case there was a camera that they could see, and pulled a sheet over him.

The transmission had no visual, and the speaker digitally edited their voice.
"Rose Hamilton has been taken to the following location: "

coordinates then appeared on the screen. A minute later, the screen went blank.

(Jared): "Another trap?"

Lloyd frowned, and thought, and masked his voice with the sheet quickly, just in case.
"Run the co-ordinates, see if it matches anything."

(Kora): "The transmission cut off, you don't need to mask your voice...hmm...there's an abandoned research center there..."

"Alright." Lloyd said, and nodded, as he thought.
"It's our best bet. I'll stay in the mech and provide backup, however, if you find evidence that Rose is there, I am going in." Lloyd said.

(Kora boots up S.H.I.R.A): "Let's go!"

"Right." Lloyd said, and climbed into the Silencer quickly, and typed in the activation code, as he raised an eyebrow.
"Wow, Kora, this boots up even faster than the Outlook; good job." Lloyd said, impressed, as he looked in the back, and found a new uniform, that was black and green instead of white and green.
"And thanks for the new uniform." Lloyd said, and quickly went into the change room to switch into his new uniform, before he reappeared in the cockpit and nodded.
"Let's go."

(Kora): "No problem!"

(Vox): "What are you doing? Get back here!"

(Jared): "**** you, Vox. Rose is in trouble! S.H.I.R.A Squad, deploy!"
