My LEGO Nexus Organization

Welcome, one and all; to the second contest of the newly restored MLNO.

Your task? To build a MOC that depicts summer fun, a scene, summer activity, or summer "toy"... (boat, sailboat, wave rider, windsurf board,etc.) Maybe YOUR favorite part of summer?

You can use any type of system to make your MOCs. You can use LDD or real LEGO bricks, Mindstorms, or even your LU Property.  If you use LDD, it doesn't matter what mode you have it in, though it's encouraged to attempt to use something that others can get if they want.

Please take pics or screen shots from 2 or more angles, and post them in a size no larger than 640 X 480, or provide a link to larger images.

Rules:
You must depict something that is usually only seen when it is summer.

Try and include a minifig or more if it is a "scene" or activity, or have a place for the minifig in the "toy"

Link your entries in this topic. However, post the topics for your MOCs over in the MOC Corner, as it'll get more attention there.

You can also use this topic for discussing the contest.

The submission period for the entries is over on July the 31st, at midnight PST.
Voting will then commence, and end on Aug 14th , midnight PST.

The prize is a grand total of 10 rep and a possible image award for the winner, and each participant receives 2 rep points each.
You may enter more than one creation, however, please note that you will only receive the participation points once.
There may also be additional "surprise" prizes added during the span of the submission period.

 I think I'll have to work on this, I'd like to have something to build with my LEGO's again, at the moment, I'm lego deprived. =P I don't have the pieces to build another drome racer. :/

It also doesn't help that LEGO doesn't seem to think reviving the Drome Racers would be a good idea. =P Given that they're still not back.

 Yay! I just ordered the pieces to build another Drome Racer! The theme is secret though, I can't tell you yet. =) And I'm working on my summer thing right now.

Alright then. =) Maybe you should hold off building the Drome Racer, for the moment, though... ;)

Don't hold off on the MOC for this contest, of course. =P

 Actually, my pieces still have to ship, so holding off for the Drome racer really isn't optional. =P

I meant for longer than it takes to ship. =P

 Nah. I'll have finished my Summer thingymajigger by then. =P

How long do you think it'll take to build this? =P

 Which one? The Racer, probably 20 hours or so; the summer thing? Maybe an hour. =P It's not as complex.

Well, you might want to stretch the racer out; and not post it right away. </hint>

 Okay, I know what you mean. I'll probably finish halfway through August or something.

Well, in other news I finally started on my cruise ship! I'm wondering where this will go... (I also hope I have / am able to find enough pieces...)

In reality, I have no idea what I'm gonna do, oh wait, I just had an epiphany, perhaps a diorama of a....

Better hurry... it's almost the end of the month.
