Title: Mak's Mindstorms Dog.. I helped...
Post by: MsRowdyRedhead on July 31, 2011, 11:20:46 pm
2Mak07 made this a while back and I helped.

I took the pics, and Mak helped with a few. ;)

The stone bear is larger than  bread box, for reference.

After resizing the images, I looked again and realized this was in 2009.. Mak was 9 years old when he built this.

Great job Mak!! You're a true NXTer now. Building quadrupeds is a difficult task for any builder, but yours seems like a good design. Excellent job on the head and using the friction pieces for the ends of the feet. You seem to have all your wires under control too.  ;)

Good job helping, MsRR. Any credit above that should be yours, please take it.  ;)

Mak did the most of it.. I made a suggestion or two and fetched pieces.

I also helped with the programming.

That looks pretty cool, I must admit, and given that this was made two years ago, this is a very good job.

Sorry for the late reply, but this is a true piece of ingenuity! The walking system looks simple, yet complicated at the same time! Next walking robot I make, I think I might borrow that idea! :D

Great job Mak!
