Title: Keyboard help Post by: Wantija$$$ on August 09, 2011, 12:15:40 am So on my Windows XP unit Ive come across a bit of a tragedy with my keyboards inputs. When ever I try to type in a question mark (and quotation marks, apostrophes left arrow thing and right arrow thing), it turns out like this: É.
So if any one could tell me how to fix this, I would gladly appreciate it. Title: Re: Keyboard help Post by: mtmerrick on August 09, 2011, 12:18:49 am http://www.usnetizen.com/fix_capslock.php

Also I guess I should've mentioned this before, but I'm running XP on BootCamp via Mac and using a Mac keyboard. Sorry about the inconvenience... (used spell check to get those apostrophes in >_>) Title: Re: Keyboard help Post by: mtmerrick on August 09, 2011, 12:39:50 am oh well then i can't help you :P

Title: Re: Keyboard help Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on August 09, 2011, 08:33:54 am Have you tried turning it off and on again?
Aside from that, is it one of those keyboards that's built into the Mac, or an external one you'd find on a non-all in one PC? Title: Re: Keyboard help Post by: mtmerrick on August 09, 2011, 02:04:55 pm huh o_O
even all in ones have standard keyboards - laptops are the only computers with keyboards built in. Title: Re: Keyboard help Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on August 10, 2011, 09:16:53 am Sorry; that shows me inexperience with all-in-one computers. >>;
Alright, have you checked the line into the computer? Title: Re: Keyboard help Post by: MsRowdyRedhead on August 10, 2011, 07:50:11 pm When did you last clean it?
Title: Re: Keyboard help Post by: Wantija$$$ on August 10, 2011, 09:00:55 pm It's all clean. probably just something in the settings that my Dad did or something. Besides I've got my Linux unit that's a million times better :P

Title: Re: Keyboard help Post by: Wantija$$$ on August 10, 2011, 11:26:16 pm Ok, I found out the problem. I was using English (Canada) as my standards and formats thing, so I switched it to English (United States).
