-==Story [001]==-

The year is 2013. Rapid developments in technology have combined the typical Touch Screen MP3 player with the old nearly-obsolete CD Player. This advancement has boosted the sales of CDs; and has also shrunk the size of the disks to Mini Disks, given that the machines have to be relatively small these days to be portable. There has also been rise in Data-connected machines, as almost everything now, even the old antique contraptions, is connected to the internet, and Data in general, now.

Things are never easy, however, as this has seen the rise of crimes committed using Data, or over Data. People have started to also help protect themselves, however, criminal activity is still out there in neighbourhoods. Two years earlier, however, special disks were sent out all over the world, through the new CDs of a band called 'The Skies of Data'. Most people threw them out after they wouldn't work correctly on their CD Players; however, a select few at first had discovered the true power behind those disks; that they allowed the user to more or less become a data-based being. However, there were both people who used the disks for justice, and people who used them for nefarious purposes, because although you became a Data based being; you were still based in the physical world.

At first it was simply a fight against cyber programs that tried to destroy the real world, because of the powers of one individual. However; eventually, it became an all out fight between the two sides of the wielders of data. That is where you can help. Will you wield the power of the Data Disk for good; or for evil?

-==Locations [002]==-

[Cytek City]
This is the 'main city' of the RPG. Most of the initial Data Disks that had their purposes discovered originated in this city. The headquarters of The Skies of Data are located here.

More locations will be added as the RPG progresses.

-==Data Forms [003]==-

I mentioned about the importance of Data in the Story section, but I'm going to elaborate here. Data is an important part of Terra. It is a literal part of the planet, though for the most part, you can only interact with it through computers or other digital devices. There is more to Data than meets the eye, however, and not all of it is known at this moment either.

There is another way to interact with Data, however. On Terra, there are combinations between Touch Screen MP3 Players and normal portable CD Players. These use mini-disks, like you'd see on say a Gamecube. However; there are special disks, which have been on the rise recently, known as Data Disks. These allow the CD Players to read the golden disks, and then activate the Data that is stored on them. This Data grants special powers to the person who activated the Disk, most of which are only active while the CD Player is still running. These powers are granted because the Disk essentially turns them into a Data being... A Cyber Human of sorts.

These effects typically wear off when the Data Disk is turned off, however, there are some exceptions. For example, activating Overdrive(an ability that'll be touched on later), will alter your coding ever so slightly in some minute way. For example, once deactivated, OverDrive might change your hair colour from black to brown or red or so; your eyes to a different colour, or another similar difference, like maybe your hairstyle, but that's a larger difference, and is only present in anomalies. The OverDrive changes, however, are permanent, barring some weird experiment to change your coding back.

-==Rules [004]==-

1. Label your posts with IC and OOC, please.
2. Obey all forum rules.
3. No killing player characters without permission.
4. No "Leet". It's not allowed, and as such, shouldn't be in here.
5. God Mode isn't allowed all that much. While you can use martial arts and kung-fu and karate and the like to your heart's content, and might as well even know how to jump off walls if you have a way to... You can't singlehandedly take out a player character. There may be some exceptions, however, there are limits on the power that your characters have for a reason.

-==Punishments [005]==-

Ok, I dislike to do this, but, these are what you get if you break the rules.

1. You get a simple PM warning, telling you not to do what you did, plus a temporary power decrease.
2. You get a public warning, and a medium wound.
4. You get a critical wound, and a suspension from the RPG for two days.
5. You get your character killed off, and suspended from the RPG for a week, and when you get back you can make a new character.
6. You get one of your characters put on the most wanted list for the police, and you are banned from the RPG until I decide you are fit to play again.
7. That was your last chance the last time. You are permanently banned from the RPG, and all your characters are put on the most wanted list for the police. You can argue your point, but there's not much hope you can get back.

-==OverDrive [007]==-

OverDrive is a special ability of the armoured form your character has. The character can activate the ability, which drastically changes your character's appearance(They look like a cross between your armoured form, and normal form), and also enhances the powers that your character possesses, along with the physical strength your character possesses. However, OverDrive only lasts for a limited amount of time, and automatically deactivates the CD Player when it ends. Along with that, it tends to drain your character's stamina, and also has the side effect, the first time the ability's used, of changing your character's appearance slightly.

-==Factions [008]==-
-===The Skies of Data===-

Taking their name from the band that started everything; this faction is devoted to justice, if slightly different than most. The leader of this group is known as Tomas Greyson was one of the first known Cyber Humans, and had still been fighting crime for about six months prior to gaining his powers. The Skies of Data have been sending out Data Disks again, so new people could help them out in their fight, however, the Disks have also been getting into the hands of their enemies, as well.

-===The Police===-

Not talking about the band, but the literal police. They view both The Skies of Data and the Void Soldiers as criminals and nuisances to the peace, because of their constant fighting. The police are essentially the 'neutral' faction, given that they're against both of the other factions.

-===The Void Soldiers===-

This group is bent on causing destruction, and otherwise carrying out criminal activity. Recently, their leader had nearly pulled off an elaborate scheme, but failed at the last second somehow. It is unknown exactly what this scheme was. Their leader is known as Damon Wright, and obtained a Data Disk approximately six months after Tomas did.

A young man with brown hair stood by the window in a room on the 30th floor of a hotel building, as he looked over the city, which was named Cytek City,
They still don't realize what had happened recently... The man, who was named Tomas Greyson, thought with a frown, as he paused, and turned around, as his friend, Tammy, walked into the room.
"We've gotten reports of the CDs appearing in different places, in addition to what we've been sending out..." Tammy said with a frown, as Tomas nodded, and grabbed a vest from his chair, and put it on, a CD player of sorts embedded in the center.
"Alright then... let's go." Tomas said, as the two of them headed out of the room, and then headed into an elevator that took them to the lobby of the hotel...

OOC: </making stuff up on the spot> This Hotel's not likely to make any sort of reappearances. =P Though, who knows, I might have it be the source of an awesome fight or two. =P

OOC: Mind it being in Mexico?

-==IC: Trever==-
"Yeeeeee-haaaaaaa!"  On the 16th floor of the hotel, a man jumps from his balcony. looking like he's covered in armor and crystals.  He spins around and digs the crystals into the trunk of a giant tree, slowing his descent.  Fragments of the crystals break off and remain in the tree, creating hand and foot holds.  Finally, four feet from the ground, the armor retracts, and he hits the ground, now wearing a baggy tie-dye t-shirt, bell-bottom jeans, and a ratty brown  vest.  He has brown eyes and hair, and screams to the sky, "THIS...IS...AWESOME!!!!!!!!!  WOOOOOOOO!!!!!"

OOC: How close would the location of the hotel to the States? Technically I could somehow see Cytek in the distance, if it was close enough to the States. =P Aside from possible retcon issues from Tomas looking at Cytek in the distance, I have no problem with the hotel being in Mexico. =P

Tomas walked out, and suddenly stopped with a '0_o' look, as he saw the hippie guy drop to the ground.
Oh no... Tell me he's not... Tomas said, but had already seen the crystal armour, and sighed.
Great, our first potential new recruit, and he's a hippie. Perfect. Tomas thought with some sarcasm.

OOC: =P

-==IC: Trever==-
Trever spots Tomas and randomly runs over.  "Like, maaaaan, you can see the WHOLE WORLD from on top of this mountain, isn't it AWESOME??  And, like, we're surrounded by nature, and there's the AWESOME power of the Aztec all around her--and it's showing of it's SWEETNESS OF COOL AWESOME by, like, giving me CRYSTAL POWERRRRRRRR!  Man, I am like PUMPED, maaaaaan!  Oh, and I saw a UFO today.  Its' true, I swear!  They're after my sheer awesomeness, I know it!  And the government knows!  It's a conspiracy, maaaaaaaan!"

OOC: ...aaand intro catchphrase. :P

Tomas blinked, wondering which mental asylum this guy had escaped from, but nodded and waved slowly.
"I-I guess..." Tomas said, though he didn't really have a clue what he was talking about for the most part.

OOC: =P

"So, have you heard anything about a crystal skull around here anywhere, maaaaaaan?"

-==IC: Tomas==-

Tomas shook his head.
"Never heard of such a thing..." Tomas stated, with a shake of his head.

OOC: =P

OOC: I'll just jump in here. =P

-==IC: Will==-

 Will casually walked up towards Trever and Tomas. For the moment, he had no armor, yet the twin blades hung over his back. "Tomas Greyson?"

-==IC: Tomas==-

Tomas looked over with a frown, as he saw the swords, but no armour.
"Yeah, that's me." Tomas confirmed with a nod.

OOC: That's not usually typical, but given that everything... Well... let's just say underwent a few... 'changes' recently; I'll accept that. =P

OOC: You'll notice it was a question. =P And it was the best opening I could come up with.

-==IC: Will==-

 Will smiled and reached forward to shake his hand, activating his armor as he did so. "I'm Will. Pleased to meet you."

OOC: Would he be able to know that Tomas is looking for new recruits?

OOC: No, I meant the 'swords without armour active' thing. =P

And yeah, for the reasons mentioned in this post. ;)

Tomas nodded, as he shook Will's hand.
"I'm assuming you're here about the application to the band, then?" Tomas asked, using the code established in the inserts of the Data Disks they had been sending out recently, as they were looking for recruits.

-==IC: Will==-

 "You guessed right." Will said, still grinning. "So how do I get started here? I can already do a lot." He shrugged.

OOC: Oh. =P Let's just say that he prefers to carry those on his at all times. =P

OOC: Alright then. Again, it likely would have caused a slight canon problem if I had started it when the epic starts, but since I didn't, that's fine. =P

"Well; you caught us at a pretty good time, we were just about to start heading out." Tomas said with a slight chuckle.

-==IC: Damon==-

Damon smiled, as he looked out of the window of a large building in Cytek City, for show.
"So... Why haven't we succeeded yet? I thought sure we had; but... this is still standing." Damon stated, as he turned around to one of the Void Warriors, who nearly jumped in surprise.
"I-I don't know, sir." The member said, as Damon smiled.
"I see. Well, I believe that it might partially be because of The Skies of Data meddling in my plans... So let us go and get them out of our way, once and for all." Damon said, as he walked out of the room, leaving the Void Warrior to blink, as he didn't expect to still be standing there.

-==IC: Will==-

 "That's all?" He said with a suprised look. "I'm on?"

-==IC: Tomas==-

"Well, you did just prove what we need." Tomas said, motioning to Will's armour.
"We kinda need members, which is why it's so easy to join. But in all honesty? You already have the key to joining." Tomas explained.

-==IC: Trever==-
"So, like, what's happening, maaaaaaaan?  Let's go see the world, duuuude, fo rizzle!"
"What?"
"Let's...let's just go."

OOC: I really hope you DON'T get the reference here, it was just too perfect for the character.  Again, DON'T look it up!

OOC: I don't get the reference. =P

-==IC: Tomas==-

Tomas blinked, and raised an eyebrow to Trevor again.
"So... Who are you again?"

-==IC: Trever==-
"I'm like, part of the cosmic universe, maaaaaan, like all of use are, just mere manifestations of the Supreme Awesome that surrouds us, duuuuuude.  But, like, you can call me by my earthly designation, Trever of the house of Wayke, maaaaaaaan."

A bead of sweat ran down Tomas' face, as he had no clue what to say for a little bit.
"O-Okay then..." Tomas said, and frowned.
"So, I'm guessing you have some sort of... Err... 'Cosmic Form'?" Tomas asked, not knowing how to otherwise say for him to transform into his Data Form.

OOC: xD

-==IC: Trever==-
"Oh, yeah, maaaaaan.  When I listen to this random CD I found in my room, I like, become one with the power of the cosmos, maaaaaaan.  I don't know who The Skies of Data are, but they're totally awesome, duuuuuude!"  Trever demonstrates the armor.

-==IC: Will==-

 Will glanced at the hippie who had just activated his armor, and started talking again. "What would that be?"

-==IC: Tomas==-

Tomas sighed.
Great. He is one of us. ... Well, couldn't hurt... Tomas thought, and shrugged.
"Well; sir, I believe today's your lucky day... Do you want to join the Skies of Data?" Tomas asked ignoring Will's very likely look of astonishment.

OOC: =P

-==IC: Will==-

 Will still stood there, not really expecting an answer. "I guess that works well then..." He looked to Trever. "Who is this?" Correction. He thought to himself. What is he?

OOC: =P

OOC: Wait, who was Will talking to, anyway? =P

-==IC: Tomas==-

Tomas turned to Will, and shrugged.
"No clue." Tomas said, but then paused.
"Says he's Trever, though."

OOC: You got it right. =P

-==IC: Will==-

 Will looked at him uncertainly. "I see..."

OOC: No, the first post where you asked a question on this page. Were you talking to Tomas? =P

-==IC: Tomas==-

"And it's better for us to get him... Than the Void Warriors. The less people they get, the better for us." Tomas explained, after that.

OOC: Yeah, that's supposed to be a "who", and it was to Tomas.

-==IC: Will==-

 "True." He still looked distastefully at Trever. "Well... I must say I'm relieved that this was all it took to get on board."

-==IC: Tomas==-

"Yeah. Now the fun starts." Tomas said with a frown.

-==IC: Trever==-
"What kind of fun?  One time, I was in the forest--these corporate types were tryin' to cut down all the trees, maaaaaan, and the po-po was lettin' 'em do it.  It was a conspiracy, maaaaan!  Anyway, I was in the forest putting crystal necklaces on the trees to change the negative vibes--those serious types can't stand positive energy, maaaan, it gives 'em indigestion.  ANYWAY, I was in the forest that time--I told you the other detail, right maaaaaaan?  ANYWAY, I was in the forest, when I found these white shrooms with eyes and green spots--it was trippy, maaaan.  Anyway, I'd never seen anything like it before, so I ate it--maaaan, it was weeeeeeeeird, maaaaaaaaaaan.  I heard this funny music noise, and all of a sudden it was like I couldn't be touched, maaaaaan, and I was like floating above the ground and all.   And so, like, I ate a bunch more, and like, I saw the image of this crystal skull, and it was all like, 'the legend of our story is like, true, maaaaaan, so you've gotta, like, find one of us or something, duuuude.'  So i was all like, 'OK', and he was all like, 'sweeeeeeet', and then I was like, 'All Right!'  And then I like, jacked one of the po-po's cars, and then I realized it wasn't mine, so I stopped there in the parking lot---stupid things, they don't need to make 'em bigger---and like, I got out, and the cops were totally confused, and I got in my car, and I left.  Then I like, found this guy in Louisiana, and he like, used to have one, but then this girl came along and someone tried to use the skull to murder her, and like, she proved it was a fake, or something, but then, like, I had another vision, and the fake skull like came to life and, like, told me where its brother is, so i hopped in my jeep and drove down here, and found this trippy energy field, maaaan.  the Aztecs had it MADE, duuuuuude.  So anyways, i was digging with some spoons I swiped from my hotel room, and then I saw it...the Flying Saucer of Akibumba.  It was obviously the government, they were mad I'd eaten their genetically mutant shrooms and had a vision of the skull that would reveal all of their secrets--I swear, it's a conspiracy, maaaaaaaan!  So, I was  like, all running, because the Phloxians will like, run you down, and suck out your brains and eat it, and put one of their own in--that's like, how they keep the population from finding out about them.  I told you, it's a conspiracy, maaaaaan, and the government is in on it!  So anyway, I was like, running in, and then I ran into the hotel, and the guy at the desk was all like, 'theres no such thing as UFOs and like, no running in the lobby and no muddy shoes,' and then I was all like, 'whatever', so I hitched a ride on a luggage cart and like, when I got to my room, I found this CD, and I was all like, I need to listen to this cause it'll cam me down and then my brain vibes will make the Phloxian ship explode, and so I was like, listening to it, and then like, all of a sudden, BAM!  Instant mojo.  and then I was all like, 'Aw, yeah!' and then I, like, knew that I had been chosen as Guardian of the Cosmos, and with my Cosmic Form I'd, like, save the galaxy from the evil dudes of darkness.  They're everywhere, maaan, I swear, it's a conspiracy!!!!"  Trever looks around, hiding from imaginary enemies.  Then, suddenly, he stands up as if nothing was wrong.  "So, like, why are we all, like, standing here, duuuuuuude.  When are we gonna get started, maaaaaaan?

-==IC: Will==-

 Will blinked. "Forgive my rudeness, but..." He stared at Trever uncertainly. "Are you high?"

OOC: =P

-==IC: Tomas==-

Tomas simply stood there, unable to say anything, as he stared at Trevor blankly.
"I-I-I see..." Tomas said with a blink. Tomas looked at Will, and slightly nodded, wondering why Trevor was acting so weirdly.

OOC: That's awesome. =P

OOC: The fact that Trevor's weird? =P

OOC: Nah, more the fact that Tomas looks to be agreeing with Will. =P

OOC: He is, I'm just trying to avoid actually outright stating it. =P

OOC: I wasn't. =P

-==IC: Trever==-
"Of course I am, duuuuuuude!  And so are you!  We're, like, on top of a mountain, maaaaaaaaan!"

-==IC: Tomas==-

Tomas sighed, as he slapped his palm to his face.
"Let's go, shall we?"

-==IC: Trever==-
"Sure thing, maaaaaan!  Lead the way, duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu uuuuuude!"

-==IC: Tomas==-

"Also, suggestion, stop talking." Tomas stated, as he started to walk down toward where the border was.

-==IC: Will==-

 Will followed alongside Tomas to the border. "I for one go to second Tomas' motion." He said, rolling his eyes and Trever's ridiculous speech.

-==IC: Tomas==-

Eventually, after some walking, they had passed the border, and arrived near the city of Cytek.
"Alright... Is everyone ready? I wouldn't doubt that everything'll start the moment we step into Cytek City. They're probably waiting for us too." Tomas noted, as he pondered whether to activate his data disk now, or wait until they got into the city.

-==IC: Will==-

 Willl activated his armor, leaving the helmet off for now. "You know, I almost don't know who is worse. The police, or the Void Soldiers... but yeah, I'm ready."

-==IC: Tomas==-

"Void Warriors." Tomas stated.
"The Police interrupt our fights, and try to make us out to be the enemies; but the Void Warriors are who we need to take down for good." Tomas said with a frown, and then quickly activated the Data Disk, and nodded when his armour and weapons materialized from the Data surrounding them.
"Let's go."

-==IC: Will==-

 "As I said... they're both bad." He muttered, following in suit with Tomas.

-==IC: Tomas==-

Tomas was right, then moment he stepped into the city, two people in armour dropped down, and smirked at Tomas, and quickly summoned their own weapons.
"Well, Will, looks like you get a crash course in how to fight. You ready?" Tomas asked, as he gripped his Dual Helix Sword with a frown.

-==IC: Will==-

 Will's helmet folded down over his head, and he casually pulled both weapons off of his back. "Oh... Fighting I can do... Bring it."

-==IC: Tomas==-

"Right." Tomas said, as he ran forward, and jumped up, as he slammed his Dual Helix Sword down at one of the opposing fighters. However, that guy simply backflipped, though Tomas quickly recovered, and waited for his next move.

OOC: Will gets the other guy, and another one will appear for the hippie when Flipz gets on. =P

OOC: Am I allowed to arm the enemy however I choose?

-==IC: Will==-

 Will advanced on his opponent, watching his sword carefully. His own daggers were meant for speed, and he'd rather it didn't come to a brute force fight with this guy.

OOC: Go ahead. =P

-==IC: Tomas==-

Tomas watched as his opponent held his extremely large broadsword to the side, and smirked. The opponent ran forward, and Tomas brought his Dual Helix Sword to block the blow, but got pushed back a bit from the attack.
Looks like I'll need to use ranged attacks. Tomas noted, as he prepared to fight with his full strength.

OOC: You could have Will notice that Tomas is seemingly having problems in this fight, just as an intriguing thought. =P

OOC: Okay. Just curious, are we all at the same level of strength?

-==IC: Will==-

 Will swung forward at his opponent, clashing his dual blades against the soldier's longsword, then kicking him away with lightning speed, he rolled over towards Tomas to get next to him. It would be easier to fight together.

OOC: I hope that's what you meant. =P

OOC: Unlike DoaH, yes. =P For now. =P

And I was more like 'He's our leader? But he can't fight...', and then I'd obliterate the opponent. =P

-==IC: Tomas==-

"Stand back." Tomas said, as he held his sword up, and it began to glow, as Tomas smirked. Tomas sliced his sword down, and an arc of data energy was sent from the blade of the sword toward his opponent, who had a surprised look on his face, as it sliced his shoulder, and cut through the armour around there as well.

OOC: Oh. =P

-==IC: Will==-

 Will rolled to evade yet another swing of his opponent's sword, forcing him to leave Tomas' side anyways. He retaliated with a blurring blow to the face with his right hand, while his left locked with the sword to keep it at bay.

-==IC: Tomas==-

Tomas focused, as the opponent looked at Tomas incredulously. Tomas held his sword to the side, slowly edged toward the attacker, and smirked, as then spun around in a circle, slashing his sword around as well as unleashing a circle of energy at the opponent as well.

OOC: Spin Attack. =P

-==IC: Will==-

 Will's assailant cried out as he heard the cartilage break in his nose. Will took the advantage, and rushed forward to disarm his sword.

-==IC: Trever==-
"Face the power of COSMIC AWESOME!!!!!!!11!!!one!"  Trever engages his armor and starts shooting crystals everywhere.  Literally.  Everywhere.

-==IC: Tomas==-

Tomas had to duck to dodge one of the crystals, and sighed.
"Don't shoot your allies!" Tomas said with a slight frown.

-==IC: Will==-

 Will only just managed to grab the still schocked soldier and put him in front of his body, taking all of Trever's crystals in the general direction.

OOC: Am I owning this guy to much? Or are they supposed to be easy right now.

OOC: They're like the Hunters. =P Though they will get stronger as we go, unlike the Hunters. =P

-==IC: Tomas==-

Tomas raised an eyebrow, but then paused, his opponent already subdued, as he sensed someone approaching... Someone strong.

OOC: Also, technically those guys are the criminals... =P

OOC: Okay. There aren't any Void Guardians, are there, because that would suck. =P

-==IC: Will==-

 Will tossed the groaning soldier, now completely disabled due to some quick work with Will's dual daggers, off to the side. "What's the matter?"

OOC: Get owned void soldier. =P

Story Post

OOC: They don't have 'Void Guardians'... Just the Void Warriors. It's the name of their gang. =P The only uber powered Void Warrior so far... Is their leader.

-==IC: Tomas==-

Tomas tensed, and then looked to Will.
"Get down!" Tomas yelled out, as he pushed Will to the ground, and then dove to the side, just as an invisible shockwave sliced through part of the ground where the two were standing prior to that. Tomas rolled away, and turned to face where the attacker was, as the attacker landed on the ground, and simply smiled.
"... Damon." Tomas said with narrowed eyes.

-==IC: Will==-

 Will looked up to see a face that he wanted buried in the ground more than anyone else. Damon Wright. He struggled, restraining himself so as to not try and destroy him. Deep in his mind, he knew that he had a slim chance of winning.

-==IC: Damon==-

Damon simply stood where he was with his smile, as he looked between Tomas and Will.
"Looks like you've already started to recruit, Tomas... How intriguing. I wouldn't fight, though, if I were you." Damon said with a slight smirk, as he turned to Will.
"And who are you, anyway?"

"Oh yes, there are definitely a lot of those people." Damon said with a nod, as he swung his sword at Will to try and use that shockwave attack again.

OOC: What image? And maybe I'll do that. =P

 Will rolled under the shockwave attack, and suddenly both weapons were out of their sheaths, gleaming with excitement. "But of course... we could have a civil conversation instead of fighting a battle that we know will end with neither of us dead."

"We could. Or you could just save everyone a lot of trouble, and just join me now, instead of me having to beat you." Damon said, his smile still on his face.

 Will hesitated; this had not been what he was expecting at all. "Join you? You want me... to join you. The Void Soldiers." He lowered his weapons slightly.

Damon paused, as his smile vanished, and his eyebrow twitched slightly.
"It's the Void Warriors." Damon stated, with a sigh.
"But yes. I want you to join the Void Warriors."

 Will looked at Damon. Although it stood against everything he'd ever believed in, the offer was still tempting for some reason. It seemed like a good idea to give in, but... "No." Will said, still staring at Damon. "I stand with Tomas."

OOC: So who is that again? =P

OOC: Damon's inspiration. Shuukuro Tsukishima. =P One of the main bad guys now in Bleach. Can change your memories with a simple slash of the sword, though I don't think I'll go that far; that's just asking to mess with minds. xD

Again, I don't think Damon's entire appearance is like that, but parts of Damon's personality is based off Tsukishima's; like his tendency to smirk and smile just to taunt his opponents. =P

Damon shrugged with a smile.
"Alright then; you can die with him." Damon said, and sliced at Will once more.

OOC: Is there a shockwave in this attack?

OOC: Yes. Yes there is. =P

 Will ducked under the sword, and slammed both dagger's into the sword to stop it from going on a return path.

OOC: Where's Tomas in this whole thing? =P

Damon smirked, and jumped back, as Tomas slammed his sword into the spot where Damon was moments before.

OOC: It's hard to IC two characters at once when one's simply talking to another. That's why they always seem to stand to the side at times like that. =P

OOC: Okay.

 "There are two of us that are competent, and one of you." Will said, activating his visor. "Are you ready?"

Damon smirked, as Tomas charged up his sword. However, Damon disappeared, and Tomas growled, and then looked around quickly for where he went, and then paused, and looked up, and jumped back just before Damon slammed his sword to the ground.

OOC: Don't underestimate Damon. =P

 Will only just missed being cleaved in two by Damon's sword. He activated his speed boost, and came at Damon, striking at him from a dozen directions.

Damon smirked, and blocked the majority of the blows, and dodged the ones he couldn't, though a bit of his left arm's armour got sliced a bit, which seemingly revealed a weakness.

-==IC: Will==-

 Will continued hiling blows upon Damon, caught up in the frenzy of battle.

OOC: How do you use OerDrive?

OOC: Good question. =P

Tomas frowned, as he saw Damon parry most of the blows, and smirk.
"Get back!" Tomas called out with a frown, as he slashed out at Damon and sent a sword beam at him.

 Will was caught up in the heat of the fight, and didn't hear Tomas. Instead, he pressed harder, his arms and dual daggers a blur.

OOC: Sorry for all the earlier typos, I only had one hand available. =P Now I have two.

-==IC: Damon==-

Damon, however, vanished once more, and appeared behind Will, and held his sword out to the side.
"Heh. Should've listened to Greyson."

-==IC: Will==-

 Will stumbled from the sudden loss of resistance against his swings, and tried to turn around as fast as possible while bringing his blades into a defensive position.

-==IC: Damon==-

Damon then unleashed a three strike combo, each strike sending out a shockwave attack.

-==IC: Will==-

 Will managed to evade the first two, and then the third one slammed into him full force as he clashed blades temporarily with Damon before getting knocked back.

-==IC: Damon==-

Damon raised an eyebrow, as the attack had been deflected toward Will's left arm, but seemingly didn't cause any damage.
"Intriguing."

-==IC: Will==-

 Will pulled himself to his feet with some difficulty, seeing as he was still disoriented from the blow. He slowly raised his dual daggers again."What?"

OOC: So no one knows how you use OverDrive?

OOC: I haven't figured that one out yet. =P I believe it's a buildup of power; ala Ki Aura, but I have no clue. Just think of it like that until I get to figuring that part out. =P

"You deflected my shockwave." Damon mentioned.

OOC: So Will wouldn't be able to use it right now? =P

-==IC: Will==-

 Will almost doubled over and groaned slightly. "Not very well apparently."

OOC: Now? No. =P

"Enough that it didn't kill you." Damon pointed out, and smirked.
"Usually that's a definite killing blow." Damon explained.

 Will fought to stay up. "I think I can see why." He in a tight voice.

OOC: Given that he just took a lot of a usually killing blow... It is understandable why. =P

Damon smirked, and pulled his sword back as if to slash again, however, Tomas ran in front of Will, and frowned.
"I'm your opponent now." Tomas said, and Damon chuckled.
"No; I would like to see his potential..." Damon said, and then turned and disappeared, as Tomas frowned.

OOC: He's letting us off the hook. =P

 Will didn't even bother to turn to see if Damon was behind him. He deactivated his helm. "Is he gone?"

Tomas deactivated his Data Disk with a frown.
"Yeah... That was weird." Tomas said with a frown, and then remembered why they were heading to Cytek, and smiled.
"Come on; let's go to our new base."

 Will deactivated the rest of his armor and slowly walked towards Tomas. "Let's not take it to fast..." He said cautiosly, not sure he should be talking or not.

"Right." Tomas said with a nod, as he led the group toward the new base.

 Will followed alongside Tomas. "Are there beds at this place?"

"Lots of them." Tomas said, as if he knew something that the others didn't yet.

 "Great." He said wearily. "First one visible is mine."

 Will continued walking, gradually feeling better as he did so. "So where exactly is this new base?"

 Will's eyes sparkled with excitement. "No... way."

 Will followed in, looking around. "This is nice... very nice."

"Been looking for something like this for a while. Only just found it; we had been staying out of town before this so we could avoid constant attacks while looking for a permanent base." Tomas explained, and then chuckled.
"And this is only the lobby."

"Like, when have I ever rambled, maaaaaaan?  Unless, like, you were that donkey from three weeks back, because that poor little dude was, like, waaaaaaaay tired of me talking after I went looking for the Mayan Talking Cross.   I was all like, 'Woooooo we're gonna find this maaaaaaan,' and he was all like, 'no way, duuuuude,' and I was all like, 'no, maaaan, it's like totally real, maaaaaan,' and he was all like, 'whatever, maaaan, I'm gonna go eat some grass.'  And then he like, dumped me off his back, and he like, kicked me in the head, and I was all like, 'Maaaaaaan, I totally like, forgot about the trees,' so I like, walked all the way back to town, and I like, got on a plane, and then I was like, pushed off, and I like fell into the trees.  And since they, like, all saved my life and alli, I was all like, 'I'm gonna save ya from the government, little dudes!', and so I stayed to keep 'em from getting chopped down.  Because, like the bog companies are all controlling the government, but then the CIA brainwashed everybody.  I keep tellin' ya, it's a conspiracy, maaaaaaaaan!"

"Nah, save your energy." Tomas said with a chuckle, as he walked over to the elevator, and pressed the button to go up.

"Permission granted then." Tomas said in a low whisper, as the elevator dinged.

 Will proffered for Tomas to go first and lead the way. "I won't forget." He whispered back, dead serious.

Tomas walked into the elevator, and waited for the others to get in.

Trever walks into the elevator, and turns to see Will hadn't gottin in yet.  "Come on, duuuuuude, we don't have all day.  Hurry up, maaaaaaaaaan!"  The doors start to close...

 Will walked in quickly, spared a quick glance at Tomas, then decked Trever full force in the face to knock him out.

Thousands of razor-sharp crystal shards shoot out of the armor as it deactivates, filling the closed elevator as Trever is knocked unconscious.

 Will activated his armor with no time to spare as hundreds of tiny crystals slammed against it; it wasn't entirely effective, but the bulk of the attack was deflected. Will deactivated his armor again. "Great." He said. "Now I have a dozen or so crystal splinters to get rid of..."

Tomas blinked as the shards sent at him had just barely missed him, giving an outline of Tomas on the wall.
"Well that was certainly interesting."

Trever begins to snore.  Loudly.

The elevator then dinged, and Tomas sighed, as he stepped out of the elevator.
Been a long hour...

 As Trever started snoring, Will flinched. "There has got to be some way to shut him up..."

-==IC: Tomas==-

"Don't worry 'bout him, just leave him there." Tomas said with a slight chuckle. He had a bad feeling though, but he couldn't tell why.

 Will looked at Trever thoughtfully. "Would it be bad if we suffocated him? Just a little?"

"I think we need all the allies we can get, so it will kinda be bad." Tomas said with a slight chuckle.

 Will sighed. "Maybe he'll eventually get better..."

"Maybe." Tomas said, as he showed Will to the command centre first.

Nira Li shivered.  This was it.  According to word on the street, this is where the legendary band, the Skies of Data, were headquartered.  "C'mon, gang," she said to her band, "let's get in there and show 'em what we've got!"

Tomas walked into the command centre, as he looked around at the many monitors on the walls, and the people manning the computer systems.
"This is where we will be informed of any updates in what's happening." Tomas said, as two separate alarms went off, both at the same time. One to state that someone unknown was entering the building, and one for a radar.

-==IC: Will==-

 "And those are the alarms saying that I don't get to go to sleep yet?" Will asked with a resigned expression. Although, in truth, he really felt just fine by now. =P

-==IC: Tomas==-

"Yeah, pretty much." Tomas said with a nod.
"First things first... The perimeter alarm. It only sounds in this room so that we can have an ambush against an ambush, but... that doesn't matter. Dunno who it is though; unless Damon tracked us here already..." Tomas said with a shrug, as he glanced at the Radar Alarm.
That worries me more, however... but the base comes first.

 Will activated his armor and drew his weapons. "I don't think he would've done that. I would guess it's either rouge Void Warriors, or some other people that we don't know and probably aren't friendly."

-==IC: Tomas==-

"Whatever it is; it's either we investigate that... Or quickly figure out why the Radar's Alarm suddenly went off." Tomas said with a slight frown.

OOC: First objectives will be up soon, but given that we have absolutely no Void Warriors as PCs, I have a feeling we might get lucky and have a Skies victory for this quest. =P

 Will nodded to Tomas. "I follow you."

"That's the thing..." Tomas said with a slight pause, as he turned to Will.
"You're the sane new recruit. Do you think we should investigate the newcomers or the radar first?" Tomas asked, not saying the full reason.

 Will stared at the ground for a few seconds. "What exactly does the radar signify?"

"To be honest, I don't kn-" Tomas started to say, but Tammy frowned.
"The data has been analyzed. ... Tomas, it's her." Tammy explained, and Tomas sighed in desperation.
"Great. Just great. Right when there's a potential attack." Tomas said, and paused, as he turned to Will.
"What the Radar's saying, is that a very powerful person has been found." Tomas said, and stopped for a second, as he tapped a screen, and pointed to it.
"Her name is Rona. She has been very involved in this battle a great deal; however, she disappeared after the last great incident that Damon caused. She hadn't been seen since. However, her appearing now could mean multiple things... One being that the battle is about to start up once more and have fights that could cause damage." Tomas said with a frown.
"One thing's certain, however... We need to find Rona before Damon does."

-==IC: Damon==-

Damon smirked, as he looked up.
"Is that so...?" Damon asked, as the Void Warrior member nodded rapidly.
"Yes, the others have spotted Rona in Cytek City once more!" The Void Warrior stated, and Damon smiled.
"Perfect. Now, let's get word out... Capturing the girl is our biggest priority."

OOC: Remember, there are many mysteries I'm keeping quiet right now... Like the nature of that incident I keep mentioning, and why Rona's so important. That one, however, will be resolved soon enough hopefully.

 "You go for Rona, if Damon appears, I can hold him." Will said, feeling fully energized once more, veins pumping with adrenaline.

Nira Li & The Best walks into the lobby...to find it completely empty.  Nira crossed the room to find the doors to the elevators locked down.  "Looks like they don't want to talk to us.  That's OK, right boys?  After all..." Nira activates her Data Disk, and suddenly is covered in speakers.  "...We just need them to listen. 1, 2, 3, 4!"

Nira was not amused.  She caught the look in Tomas' eye, and blasted him with a concentrated wave of pure sound that threw him across the room and embedded him in the wall.  "Want to try that one again?"
She turned back to Will.  "I hope you're not going to be as stupid as your pal over there, because 'You're pretty' is not the response I'm looking for.  'You're hired,' maybe, but NOT 'You're pretty.'  Got it?"

 Will raised and eyebrow and smiled throughout the entire speech. "You think I'm pretty?" He said increduously. "Well, I can't say your the first, but thank you. And just so you know, I think the same of you." His face straightened as he lightly touched a knife at his side. "Though if you try that again, you may regret it."

In response, Nira repeated her move from earlier, blasting Tomas with a pure stream of sound.  This time, though, the wall didn't hold, and sent him flying--coincidentally, right in the direction of Rona.

OOC: Rona's nowhere near here, just to say. =P I want the whole search thing to be a hunt, though it shouldn't take too much longer, after this. If you meant Tomas' girlfriend, Tammy, then yeah, that'd work. =P

Tomas, however, dug his feet into the ground, as he appeared to be struggling against the sound wave, however, he smirked, and energy started to gather around the blade of his sword, as he unleashed the energy in a sword beam aimed toward Nira.

 Will was watching with an amused smile on his face. He leaned over towards one of the band members. "I have money on Tomas."

Tomas heard the comment, but didn't respond, as he waited to see what happened.

Nira spins out of the way, and a vortex of sound appears around her.  She spinjitsu's over to Tomas, trapping him in the vortex before blasting him through the roof of the building.  Several hundred floors above.

Tomas, however, grabbed onto one of the floors as he smashed through it, and held on, his sword behind him, as he smirked, and sliced through the opposite edge, and he sent another Sword Beam toward Nira quickly.

Nira merely blasted waves of sound around her, warping the path of the beam.

OOC: That's right, these sound waves are so intense they warp the fabric of spacetime!!!!! [/totallyimplausibleexcuse] :P

BIC: Meanwhile, her armor began playing the the Skies of Data cover of Crashed by Daughtry.

Tomas simply smiled at that, and dropped down, as he gripped his sword with both hands, willing to wait until the last possible moment to slash out at Nira with another sword beam.

Nira stops playing around and just creates pinpoint sound waves in Tomas' ears specifically designed to cause massive disorientation and/or unconsciousness through overload of the brain.

Tomas growled, and unleashed another Sword Beam as he closed in on her.
Of all my powers, I don't have something to counteract annoying sound waves. You've gotta be kidding me.

Nira dove out of the way, and send a continuous pulse of sound at Tomas, running through sound frequencies to find the natural frequency of his armor.  While continuing to maintain the disorientation pulses.

Tomas growled somewhat, as his eyes flickered in intensity, and he gripped his Double Helix Sword with a smirk.
"Interesting. Haven't had to use this in quite a while." Tomas stated, as his sword seemed to shift to a different form... In fact his whole armour appeared to shift to a different form, as he concentrated, and then slashed out at Nira, while a large amount of energy was released from round him.
