Title: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on August 27, 2011, 11:24:56 am Have fun with this, guys; might not be official, but I'm gonna put as much effort into making this as fun and Zelda-like that it might as well be. =P Might have an epic accompany it, but that would be way in the future, if so. =P

It has been said that there are three Oracles... The Oracle of Seasons, and the Oracle of Ages have been located. However, the last one has continued to remain lost. Six months have passed since Koume and Kotake's plan to revive the evil king Ganon was stopped at the hands of Link and Zelda. However, Link had gone to journey across Hyrule once more after that win, and hasn't been seen for two months now. It is unknown what has happened to Link, however, there have been rumours that the dark monsters that Ganon formerly ruled have been roaming the countryside of Hyrule. It is also rumoured that there have been sightings of the final Oracle... The Oracle of Destiny. It is unknown why the monsters formerly loyal to Ganon would be active once more, however, it is always possible that they could be attempting to revive their old master. That is but speculation at this point, however, as there has been word of people leading the monsters... However, as before, the purpose of that is currently unknown. Princess Zelda has started to gather warriors to help defend the land of Hyrule, fearing an attack. She has also ordered the warriors to investigate the disappearance of Link, and find more information on whether the Oracle of Destiny is truly active, along with where the Oracle of Destiny is located. In addition to this, it has rumoured that lands once thought forgotten and simply a myth have started to reappear, with the entrances opening once more. The only one that has been confirmed so far is Termina, the land seemingly parallel to Hyrule. The specific entrance to Termina has not been confirmed yet, but it appears to be in the Lost Woods, located within the Faron Woods to the south of Hyrule Field. With legends in the past, present, and future of Hyrule... Will you be the ones featured in the legend of how the land is saved once more? Or will you be included in the legends as the one who finally destroyed the kingdom? -==Locations [002]==- -===Hyrule===- This is the starting location for most new players. This is the legendary kingdom of Hyrule, and it's geography is a mix of all locations from all the games. A further in-depth look into the kingdom will be added closer to the start of the RPG. -===Termina===- Termina makes it's first reappearance since Majora's Mask, but has remained mostly unchanged by time. Due to it being in an alternate dimension, events has occurred that haven't in Hyrule, and vice versa. However, the same items have more or less been created in both locations. This includes some items thought lost to time. -===Labrynna===- Not much has changed in Labrynna given that it has only been six months since the Oracle Incidents. Over the six months since the Oracle Incidents, Labrynna's inhabitants slowly expanded where they lived, and began to co-exist similar to how the inhabitants in Termina do. -===Holodrum===- While Holodrum is still slightly recovering from the unbalancing of the seasons, the land has remained relatively the same over the past six months. As with Labrynna, the inhabitants of Holodrum have slowly began to unite, and have began to coexist. Subrosia is still under Holodrum, however, the people of Holodrum have continued to keep their distance from Subrosia for the moment. There will be more locations brought into play as the RPG continues on. -==Items In General [003]==- The item system for the most part is similar to the actual games, however there are some exceptions. For one, there are items that are considered 'special', and there will only be one or two of said items. This includes special items like the Harp of Ages from the games. This will be considered on a case by case basis, and to prevent someone from potentially taking all the special items, there is the possibility of restricting how many can be obtained for yourself, but again, that will be considered a case-by-case judgement call. There is always the possibility of the items being surrendered to another character upon your character's defeat, of course. For the basic items, such as the Bow or Hookshot, there will be multiples of those, either given out in a dungeon, or by your faction, or a town if you have no true faction. Equipment wise, there are many possibilities for them, like having special gauntlets, but those will be a special case, to make certain that they are not overpowered for the portion of the story that is currently going on. As for upgrades, you will be able to upgrade your sword eventually, however, keep in mind that the special items clause applies here. Master Sword will be the biggest case-by-case decision, as the only wielder shown so far is Link, and the true whereabouts of the Master Sword as of the Oracle Games is unknown. And there is only one Master Sword, to boot. -==Rules [004]==- 1. Label your posts with IC and OOC, please. 2. Obey all forum rules. 3. No killing player characters without permission. 4. No "Leet". It's not allowed, and as such, shouldn't be in here. 5. Keep to the power that your character currently has, and do not god mode. If you wield a Triforce piece somehow, then don't abuse it's powers. -==Punishments [005]==- Ok, I dislike to do this, but, these are what you get if you break the rules. 1. You get a simple PM warning, telling you not to do what you did, plus a temporary power decrease. 2. You get a public warning, and a medium wound. 4. You get a critical wound, and a suspension from the RPG for two days. 5. You get your character killed off, and suspended from the RPG for a week, and when you get back you can make a new character. 6. You get one of your characters put on the most wanted list for the Kingdom of Hyrule, and you are banned from the RPG until I decide you are fit to play again. 7. That was your last chance the last time. You are permanently banned from the RPG, and all your characters are put on the most wanted list for the Kingdom of Hyrule. You can argue your point, but there's not much hope you can get back. -==Profile Submissions [006]==- Post the profiles in the discussion topic. Code: Username: -==Factions [007]==- The Knights of Hyrule While the Knights of Hyrule are typically a closed group, they have been recruiting over the past month, in anticipation of a potential battle. The Knights of Hyrule are dedicated to the protection of Hyrule and Princess Zelda. Link is considered an honorary member of the Knights of Hyrule. Recently, the Knights of Hyrule have been allowed to explore the kingdom of Hyrule for information about Link's whereabouts, and also explore other regions to find out information about the Oracle of Destiny. The Army of Darkness This army appears to be mostly formed out of monsters who were formerly loyal to Ganon... However, they have expanded recently, and now include other inhabitants of Hyrule and other regions, so it is theorized that the Army has been recruiting recently. It is unknown who the leader of this group is, or what the motives of the army is. There has been little info that has been gathered on the Army of Darkness, so the biggest hint to dealing with them is to be extremely cautious. I'll create a discussion topic for this in a moment; however, just to say, I still have a couple posts to make, so just wait a tiny bit. =P /EDIT: Fixed some things I had accidentally left in from the template from Skies. =/ Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on August 27, 2011, 11:55:09 am -==RPG News [008]==-

Faction: The Knights of Hyrule Character Description: Wears a blue robe, with a very light blue tunic underneath. Because of his red mullet and blue eyes and the way his robe hangs, he constantly has to tell people it's not a dress. -==IC==- Clouds gather over the land of Hyrule. In the distance, a large army is gathered, the people who are part of the army typically clothed in black. Opposite to them, a bright light shines, as knights riding white horses and in standard issue armour stare the army in black down. As both armies yell, and charge at each other, however, a spot in the middle of the battlefield shines brilliant green, and a humanoid female shape appears, and unleashes a bright flash of green light that engulfs the fighters. A blond haired girl gasped, and sat up in bed quickly with a frown. Another vision... The girl thought, as she sighed. The last time that happened, Veran nearly took over Labrynna with her powers, and Ganon was nearly revived. This doesn't seem all that good either... The girl thought, as she walked over to a mirror, and saw her blue eyes stare back. However... This may be a hint that the Oracle of Destiny may finally appear... I'm just not sure whether that's a good sign or not. The girl thought with a frown. And to top it all off, Link still hasn't been sighted... The girl said, as she noted the name 'Zelda' above her bed. I might be Hyrule's princess... But what does that mean, when I can't prevent potential disasters? Zelda thought, with a sigh. OOC: Just set up, since pretty much everything deals with Zelda and her premonitions. =P Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Flipz on August 27, 2011, 06:56:19 pm -==IC: Elian==-
"But I swear, I don't mean any harm! I'm just trying to glean rumors so I know when to get out of the way--" "Save it for the princess, spy. Consider yourself lucky I'm in a generous mood, Normally you'd be short an arm for being anywhere near here." "Or a head," the other guard said. His companion threw him a look, and he stayed quiet. Elian struggled in the guards' grip, then sighed and acquiesced, letting them drag him along the hallway. Master always said there's no use fighting destiny...I just hope I can convince Princess Zelda to let me live to find mine... Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on August 27, 2011, 07:01:23 pm (Viralarir): Right. This is the last time I try to steal something from the castle.
Viralarir thought this as she surrendered to the guards. (Guard #1): "Didn't we arrest you last week? And the week before that?" (Viralarir): "Ehe." Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Flipz on August 27, 2011, 07:16:33 pm OOC: This is vaguely reminding me of how Blade opened Rosewater. :P
-==IC: Keldeo==- Keldeo opened his eyes. Darkness. The haven of his kind. Perfect. He spread his wings and took flight, searching the ground below. Not for food, nor for some poor misguided soul who sought to oppose evil and had to be defeated. No, Keldeo was on the hunt for something else...power. Power for the Army of Darkness. Keldo's job was to find recruits for the army. Once he found a suitable target, they would join the Army...whether they wanted to or not. -==IC: Elian==- Elian thought he heard someone else being arrested, but when he turned his head to look... "Eyes forward, spy!" Elian quickly turned his head before either of the guards to aim a blow at it. He strained to listen, his pointed ears almost quivering as he tried to overhear the other's conversation. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on August 27, 2011, 07:22:42 pm (Guard #2): "So what are you trying to steal this time? Zelda's crown? The Great Fairy's Mask?"
(Guard #1): "The entire treasury?" (Viralarir): "All of the above?" ~~~ Sunshine. She'd always wondered what that was. Now she felt it for the first time. The air smelled fresh and sweet, and the grass felt good on her feet. Kelss was now certain that she'd made the right decision by leaving her dungeon. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on August 27, 2011, 07:57:47 pm -==IC: Orion==-
Orion looked up at the Castle of Hyrule, and frowned. Well... Time to start my first day as part of the Knights of Hyrule... Orion said, as he walked up to the doors of the castle, and the guards at the castle nodded, as they saw the badge that Orion wore around his arm for the moment to show he was a new recruit. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on August 27, 2011, 08:07:49 pm (Viralarir): "So...off to the dungeon again?"
(Guard #1): "Actually..this time, we'll let the Princess decide what to do with you. Come on." (Viralarir): *gulps* Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on August 28, 2011, 07:19:24 pm -==IC: Zelda==-
Zelda looked up in surprise, as the door to the throne room was opened, and two people were dragged in. "What's going on?" Zelda asked with a frown, honestly wondering what was going on. OOC; =P Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on August 28, 2011, 08:33:32 pm (Guard #2): "This is the fifth time we've caught this same thief. And since the dungeon is obviously not going to work, we came to you."
(Viralarir): "Nice crown...is that solid gold?" Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Flipz on August 28, 2011, 08:49:56 pm -==IC: Elian==-
"Your highness, this man was caught within the inner courtyard, spying. He claims he was trying to glean rumors about events outside the kindgom, but I doubt his purposes were--" "Your highness, please. Everyone knows the Hyrule Castle Guards are the best surce of information in Hyrule. If one pieces toghether their tall tales you can often find hidden truth. For instance, just today I was hearing rumors of a hero in a green hat and tunic--" "Silence, Spy! The princess is here to decide your fate for trespassing on the grounds of the Royal Family of Hyrule. She does no have time for your lies!" Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on August 28, 2011, 09:01:52 pm -==IC: Zelda==-
Zelda ignored the first guard and prisoner, more intrigued by the second one, especially at the piece of information he told. "Green hat and tunic? What rumours were these?" Zelda asked suddenly, likely surprising the guard. OOC: =P Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on August 28, 2011, 09:05:12 pm Kelss stood in the middle of the field for a moment, then an important thought entered her mind: Now what?
~~~ (Guard #2): "What the-GIVE ME BACK MY WALLET!" (Viralarir): "Hehe." Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Flipz on August 29, 2011, 12:26:07 am -==IC: Elian==-
"Mostly tall tales. Stories, telling of how they were the ones to teach him skills with a blade, claiming they had defeated him in battle. Few have given his true name, and the ones that do are mutually conflicting, but one name for him that appears often is Link. Some say he fell, out in the Lost Woods, mortally wounded in his final fight with evil but unwilling to show his weakness to others. Some say he's abandoned us, racked with guilt for some undisclosed transgression. Others say his battles with darkness planted a seed of darkness in his heart, and he now lurks in the shadows, plotting Hyrule's downfall. Still others say his triumph against evil earned him a place among the gods, and he has ascended to a higher state of being. But in all these tales lie a few threads of truth. That after his battles in Labrynna, Holodrum, and Subrosia, he left the kingdom for an unknown, mysterious purpose. That he returned some of his most powerful artifacts to their former homes. And that one day, in the hour of greatest need, he will return." Elian hesitates for a moment, but, deciding he has nothing to lose and everything to gain, he continues. "There was one more rumor, your highness. But you must understand, I have only heard it but once, just before this man apprehended me. That the forces of evil seek to destroy Link. That the banishment of darkness shall last only so long as he lives. That if he is to return, new heroes must arise to be at his side, ere the darkness overtakes him, and destroys Hyrule's last hope. I admit, it sounds unlikely, but...when my master vanished he left behind a few fragments of his prophecies. Only one was complete enough to read: For when the Hero of Oracles appears to banish the darkness, verily it shall contest his courage. But ere others arise to defend his work, his destiny shall remain void, and the world as it is shall be lost... At least, as best I could assemble it. It...it's my only clue to my master's whereabouts, and...well, now it appears that prophecy, from so many years ago, could be our only link to Link's." Elian bowed his head, and awaited word of his fate. OOC: This'll explain why he's officially with the Knights of Hyrule, instead of just doing his own thing. He's spared, but only if he joins. ;) Also, here's my personal timeline theory: MM-TP-ALttP/LA-LoZ/AoL SS-OoT- TWW/PH-ST-TMC-FS/FSA The Oracle games COULD go at the end of either timeline. This would fix most of the timeline problems in a reasonable way (at least as far as I can understand). Alternatively, the Oracle games take place before TWW, and our failure in the RPG leads to that Ganondorf's escape and rise to power and the flooding of Hyrule. ;) Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on August 29, 2011, 09:19:53 am OOC: I've seen a similar timeline. One thing, though, isn't the Ganondorf from FS/FSA the same one from LTTP onwards? Could work either way, but...(Unless there's two Tridents of Power...)
Doesn't matter too much, but yeah. =P I don't think the Oracle Games take place directly after OoT for two reasons: One, the Hero of Time not showing up was the reason why the world was flooded... And secondly, the Triforce is whole throughout both Oracle Games. Just to mention. =) -==IC: Zelda==- Zelda listened to the tale, and then solemnly nodded. "I see..." Zelda said, and then thought for a moment. "I have made up my mind... You, the boy with the dress, will be spared if you join the Knights of Hyrule. You seem like you would be able to serve them well." Zelda said with a nod. This information sounds correct, and would definitely explain multiple things... Such as why the Army of Darkness is gathering... But what would that purpose serve? Zelda thought, a slight frown on her face, but hidden from view, as she awaited Elian's response. OOC: I purposely threw in that comment. Gonna have Zelda make a slight joke. =P Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Flipz on August 29, 2011, 02:41:04 pm -==IC: Elian==-
"Actually it's...a...robe...nevermind. I, uh, agree to your...offer?" He said, expecting an order, not an offer, and having no clue of the proper protocol. OOC: :P And of course there's two Tridents of Power; the same items exist in both timelines. ;) Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on August 29, 2011, 02:47:46 pm OOC: Yes, but are we to assume Ganon stole them in both?(Especially when he kinda died in one of the Timelines for certain. =P) But other than that, that kinda works, but again, doesn't really matter. =P
-==IC: Zelda==- Zelda nodded, but addressed his first comment. "Well, it is technically a dress. See, dresses go right down to the ground, while robes are off the ground this much." Zelda said, indicating the distance from the ground by using her hands. "Therefore, that's a dress." Zelda said, with a wide smile, as the guards just stood there, blinked, and looked at each other, not sure what to say. OOC: xD Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Flipz on August 29, 2011, 03:09:20 pm -==IC: Elian==-
Elian was also dumbfounded. "...You're very pretty," he said before he could stop himself. He turned bright red, and hid his face. "You...uh...probably get that a lot," he said, valiantly trying to recover. OOC: XD Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on August 29, 2011, 03:12:59 pm -==IC: Zelda==-
Zelda quickly blushed, and then turned her head away. "You're dismis-" Zelda started to say, when the throne room door opened, and Orion walked in. "Hope this isn't a bad time." Orion said, and Zelda turned serious and nodded. "This is Orion; one of the Knights of Hyrule." Zelda explained, as Orion nodded. "First day on the job. You said you had something to tell me, princess?" Orion asked, and Zelda nodded once more. "Yes... And this would go for you too, mister dress boy." Zelda said, and Orion raised an eyebrow, and then noticed Elian, and simply nodded in understanding. OOC: xD Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Flipz on August 29, 2011, 03:34:33 pm -==IC: Elian==-
"Oh, my apologies, Princess. I should have introduced myself. My name is Elian, son of Korukas. At your service," he said, bowing deeply. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on August 29, 2011, 03:41:03 pm -==IC: Zelda==-
Zelda nodded to Elian. "Okay then." Zelda said, and began her own tale. "This is why I called Orion here. I wish for you two to explore Hyrule. See what you can find out about the Hero of Oracles... Link. See if you can locate him. I'll likely send more of the Knights to help you eventually, but for now, you're the only two who I can spare for this moment." Zelda explained, and then allowed a brief pause. "Your other side mission, is to find out where the Oracle of Destiny is. Locate her, and bring her here safely." Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Flipz on August 29, 2011, 03:46:44 pm -==IC: Elian==-
"Very well, Your Highness, it shall be done. I have heard rumors of his previous activities in both Labrynna and Holodrum. Do you know for certain which land he last visited? It might be a promising place to look." Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on August 29, 2011, 03:50:05 pm -==IC: Zelda==-
"The land he last saved was Labrynna..." Zelda said, but paused. "However, he returned to Hyrule, and journeyed all over the place there. I have no idea if he returned to Labrynna or Holodrum, however." Zelda explained. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Flipz on August 29, 2011, 04:04:46 pm -==IC: Elian==-
"Alright, then, we shall travel across Hyrule to Labrynna, and see what rumors we come across. The moment we hear of something, we will send word back to you. Is there anything else you wish us to do before we embark upon our quest?" Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on August 29, 2011, 04:06:20 pm -==IC: Zelda==-
"That is all; but I do have a warning... Beware of the Army of Darkness, as they may try to stop you." Zelda warned, but nodded. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Flipz on August 30, 2011, 03:42:02 pm -==IC: Elian==-
"I will remember that warning, Your Highness." With that, Elian bowed once more, then left the chamber. While he waited for Orion, he looked around, trying to guess where the armory would be. No sense going out unprepared. OOC: I think Zelda should start out with a bow and arrows instead of a sword nd shield, since most of the time the only thing she uses besides magic are Light Arrows...which means she's had practice with the normal sort. If I recall the wiki article correctly, she was only seen with a sword once. ;) You could include the Shiek weapons, but IDK if that would be too much of a giveaway... Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on August 30, 2011, 03:46:41 pm OOC: Well, no-one starts with a bow, so since we have no clue what items Zelda and Link have otherwise, I just put that down. =P Like has a Bow and Arrow, though.
Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on September 12, 2011, 03:22:04 pm -==IC: Orion==-
Orion nodded, and then headed toward the armoury to lead the way. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Flipz on September 12, 2011, 03:54:09 pm -==IC: Elian==-
The moment he steps into the armory, Elian claims a long coil of rope. "You can never have too much rope." He finds a couple of obscure potion ingredients, and he delightedly mixes them in a small cauldron, dipping the ends of his staff in the odd, bubbling mixture. He lights the ends of his staff from a torch on the wall. "Burns forever." After a few seconds, he blows the flames out and shows the staff to Orion. "And never does any damage to the wood. One of the few lessons from my old master I actually paid attention to." He pours the rest of the potion into a nearby flask, then cleans the cauldron and adds the potion and cauldron to his pack. He also tries to heft a Hylian shield, but finds it too cumbersome to use in addition to his staff. "Hmm...it's good protection from the back, but it feels like a waste of resources. Should I take it anyway?" He then looks to Orion's gear. "Unless you want it." OOC: /needs you to tell me what to do. :P Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on September 12, 2011, 04:04:19 pm -==IC: Orion==-
"Well, if you're worried about it getting in the way, why not try this?" Orion suggested, as he handed Elian a Wooden Shield. "Made from the wood of the Great Deku Tree, so it shouldn't break from normal blows, though fire likely should be kept away, if it's not your own." Orion said, though he looked over the rest of the equipment to see what Elian could use. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Flipz on September 12, 2011, 04:15:28 pm -==IC: Elian==-
"Say, you wouldn't happen to have any Deku Nuts around here, would you?" He exchanged the Hylian Shield for the Wooden shield. It still didn't work well in his hand, but by tying it to his arm as a buckler it proved unobtrusive and usable with his staff. "I should probably treat this as well, but I'd need more supplies. No sense in wasting the castle's entire alchemy supply on little old me." Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on September 12, 2011, 04:20:32 pm -==IC: Orion==-
Orion nodded, and picked up a bag of the flash bang-like objects. "There's a common saying, 'never leave on a journey without something to stun attackers'. Or maybe I just made that up, I haven't really figured that one out yet." Orion said with a chuckle. OOC: I'm definitely gonna eventually make a Sheikah character that utilizes those; as Sheik is awesome. =P Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Flipz on September 13, 2011, 12:11:29 pm OOC: So, needles, chainwhip, and poofy-ninja-move? And what are you thinking of getting for Keldeo? =P -==IC: Orion==- "Have you got everything?" Orion asked, as he leaned against a wall patiently. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Flipz on September 13, 2011, 12:30:48 pm OOC: And what are you thinking of getting for Keldeo? =P OOC: Oh, I don't know, something like, you know, maybe, some interactions? :P-==IC: Elian==- "I don't know. The shadowy person smirked. "I doubt that." The person said, and walked forward. "Keep up you search. However; I've got a special task for you to pass to whoever you find... Keldeo fluttered down, listening to what the other said. He smirked evilly. "Interesting. Very interesting." He sized the other up. "It's a pity you're already in the Army of Darkness, or I'd recruit you. Too bad I can't take that credit." Keldeo flew back up to his earlier perch, and prepared to take flight once more. Quit slouching off and let's get moving!" the mage grumbled as he stomped to the gate. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on November 18, 2011, 08:53:55 pm Kelss was wandering Hyrule Field. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on December 22, 2011, 01:49:58 pm OOC: Okay, as I mentioned in the discussion topic, due to the official Timeline being released, it looks like this both fits in perfectly, and that I'll need to edit the official characters a slight bit. I'm gonna assume that between LttP and the Oracle games, there was about maybe a year of time difference. That would mean that Link would be 17. Then a few months here and there, at most maybe 4 months, and at the very least 1 month, between Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages... And given the instability of Time travel, I wouldn't doubt that maybe 2 months had passed in total during Ages. Therefore, I'm not entirely certain on what to put Link's age; since it's either that he turned 16 right that day, and all the turmoil happened on his birthday, he turned 16 exactly nine months prior to the conflicts in LttP, and all that definitely means that he's 18, or stuff like that. Bottom line is, I'm just going to be vague and put his age as 17, but we have a rough time scale of the actual dates. =P
Also, now that I've played through Minish Cap again, Kinstones will definitely be playing a part in this. It's just awesome.(But will actually be able to be kept track of, unlike the actual game. =P) Also, due to this new timeline... That means that my plan can go on perfectly. And maybe I can also explain a few other things for the other games.(Though the Oracle games already explained one thing. xD) Too long, didn't read? That's okay. Summary is that things will get turned up to 11 very shortly. No IC right now, because I need to collect my thoughts. I can't IC as Orion, obviously. =P Maybe a Zelda IC... Alright, sure. Zelda IC now. -==IC: Zelda==- Zelda sighed, as she shook her head, and looked out the window, and thought about all the stuff that had happened to everyone over the last little while. Why was Ganondorf so intent to capture me? I know I was one of the seven Maidens, but that couldn't be the entire story... Could it? It's just weird... Zelda thought with a frown, as she turned away, and thought about other things. What happened when you were traveling, Link...? Why haven't you returned to Hyrule? The kingdom needs a hero again... And the Hero of Oracles is one of the only ones who can step up to that role... OOC: Also, that literally means one of. It's including our characters, but obviously someone who is known to obliterate Ganon is wanted first. =P Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on December 24, 2011, 03:13:34 pm Viralarir looked around Hyrule Field.
There is a special item there that is of need if this impending war is going to be ended before it even begins. I would go myself; but there's two problems..." Link explained, and then frowned. "One, I'm attempting to infiltrate the enemy group, which means that no-one can know I've been found. Secondly, one can only wield one legendary weapon at a time." Link continued, and nodded. "I need your help on this, Viralarir." Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on December 25, 2011, 06:02:53 pm "You want my help? ♥"
-==IC: Link==- "Not totally." Link said, with a shrug. "They were able to save most of the realms just before total destruction. Not that it helped Clock Town." Link said with a chuckle. OOC: In fact, I recently reworked the entire first post of the RPG to expand it based on the new Timeline update, and, well, that's one of the first things I realized. So, Termina's a little messy, but not fully destroyed. ... Except for Clock Town. That was obliterated. Luckily everyone but the most stubborn people got out. =P Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on December 25, 2011, 06:26:53 pm "OK, I'll do it. Anything for you. ♥"
If Kelss looked up, she would notice a smiling person in a black hat and tunic, that sat on a throne of sorts. "Welcome. My name is... Well; you can call me Link." The shadowy person said, as his brown eyes looked at Kelss with a smile. -==IC: Sanctuary==- Vira didn't run into any further trouble as she moved toward the Sanctuary. However, it was very likely to be guarded, probably. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on December 25, 2011, 06:54:53 pm Kelss stood shakily. "I will call you whatever you wish, Master."
~~~ Vira snuck into the sanctuary. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on December 25, 2011, 07:00:34 pm -==IC: Link?==-
Link smirked, and nodded. "Good. You already know your place." Link said, as his dark brown hair was noticeable. "Now then. I have a mission for you." Link said, with a frown, as he looked at the nearby map of Hyrule. "There's been an artifact that been long since lost, and I need you to find it." -==IC: Sanctuary==- Vira was indeed able to get in without being seen, and there were two things she would have noticed right away. The first, is that there were seemingly trees and such inside this sanctuary. The second... Was the sword that was in a pedestal not far in front of her. The sword had a golden orange hilt and crossguard, and the blade was shaped like a typical longsword would be. There had not been any talk about this for a long while... But those who paid attention to legends, would realize that this sword, was in fact a sword of legend... The Four Sword. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on December 25, 2011, 07:02:24 pm Vira took the sword.
~~~ "Anything, Master." Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on December 25, 2011, 07:06:28 pm -==IC: Sanctuary==-
Two things happened in that moment. One, the castle started to shake, as a shadowy substance appeared around the pedestal with a maniacal laugh, and two, Vira split into four, due to the power of the Four Sword. "Perfect... It has been so long since I was last free of my shackles... Free to wreak havok upon this pathetic world once more..." An ominous voice spoke, as a glowing eye could be seen from the middle of the shadows, as they began to float up, and then appeared to grow wings. "And I have but you to thank for that." -==IC: Link==- Link nodded with a smile, as he looked at the map once more. "Go to that village. That 'Kakariko'. Find the artifact, and return. It is crucial." OOC: Dang, now I have to think up an artifact to find. D= Maybe something that's needed... Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on December 25, 2011, 07:12:31 pm (All four Viras): "If you want to thank me, some rupees would be nice."
~~~ "Yes Master. Would you like Kakariko destroyed?" Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on December 25, 2011, 07:19:54 pm -==IC: Vaati==-
"I will thank you for not destroying you and that accursed sword, you insolent child." The shadowy winged monster said, as he took shape more, but was revealed to be just that... A giant winged eyeball monster. "Know my name, and know it well. My name is Vaati, and by drawing that cursed blade, you have sealed Hyrule's fate." Vaati said with an evil laugh, as four miniature eyeballs opened, and then shot a blast at each copy of Viralarir, even as he dissolved into shadows and vanished, to go and wreak destruction elsewhere, as yelling sounded out through the castle. -==IC: Link?==- Link shook his head. "No need, unless that's the only way to find it. They will learn the power of the Army of Darkness either way." Link said with a smile. OOC: I know this is seeming similar to Four Swords Adventure right now, but do keep that in mind. But, that being said, it's only natural, since the Four Sword is around and sealing Vaati. Obviously anyone who draws it will break the seal. =P Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on December 25, 2011, 07:24:39 pm The Viralarirs dodged. "****. Well...how do I turn back into one person?"
~~~ Kelss bowed again and went in the direction of Kakariko. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on December 25, 2011, 07:27:16 pm -==IC: Sanctuary==-
Vira had more problems to worry about at that very moment, however, as the energy blasts then manifested themselves as Stalfos, who then turned to look at the four copies of Viralarir, and held up their swords like a battle cry, as they rushed toward the four who were the same. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on December 25, 2011, 07:30:45 pm The Viralarir's all swung their swords at the Stalfos.
Heh. Easy. I killed a Stalmaster during training, after all. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on December 25, 2011, 07:32:30 pm -==IC: Stalfos==-
These Stalfos, however, blocked quickly. Obviously they had learned a thing or two from their ancestors. Perhaps literally. OOC: =P Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on December 25, 2011, 07:39:57 pm Viralarir swore in Ancient Hylian, and attacked again.
~~~ Kelss arrived at the outskirts of Kakariko. "OK...So I kidnap someone, then hide in the Shadow Temple until I get the artefact. But...how do I tell them I want the artefact when I don't even know what it is?" Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on December 25, 2011, 07:56:38 pm -==IC: Link?==-
"Or, just search, and don't do that." Link said, as he appeared beside Kelss suddenly, and then disappeared as he walked forward. OOC: =P -==IC: Sanctuary==- The skeletons blocked again, and formed a circle around the four Viras. OOC: </hint> Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on December 25, 2011, 08:47:07 pm "Yeep! Yes Master! Still don't know what I'm looking for though..."
~~~ The Viralarir's did a spin attack. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on December 27, 2011, 10:00:53 am -==IC: Kakariko==-
A glow of light seemed to shine off in the distance. -==IC: Stalfos==- The Stalfos died in a burst of flames... That Spin Attack really did the trick, and a glowing crest seemed to appear on Vira's left arm. The crest looked something like a bird with outstretched wings... The crest of the Hylian Knights. OOC: You're an official member now. =P Since they know the Spin Attack and all. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on December 27, 2011, 03:51:26 pm =====IC: Lisha=====
At that moment, a crazy-looking girl charged into Kakariko, holding a sword by the blade and pointing the hilt at random people. "HAND OVER THE CUCCO AND NOBODY DIES!" =====IC: Kelss===== Taking advantage of the random distraction, Kelss headed in the direction of the light, a bit disappointed that she wouldn't get to explore the Shadow Temple. She was starting to miss her Dungeon. =====IC: Viralarirs===== "OK, so I (we?) am now a Hylian Knight. Great. Now how do I get back to normal? The universe can't handle this much gorgeousness." Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on December 27, 2011, 04:13:50 pm OOC: xD
-==IC: Zelda==- "I'm afraid... That the only way for you to return to normal, might be to seal away Vaati." Zelda said, as she walked into the Sanctuary with a frown. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on December 27, 2011, 05:08:22 pm =====IC: Viralarirs=====
"Oh no. I refuse to participate in this RPG if I have to deal with four of me." =====IC: Lisha===== The crazy pointed the hilt of her sword at a cow and began yelling at it. =====IC: Kelss===== Kelss continued walking towards the light. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on December 27, 2011, 05:20:06 pm -==IC: Zelda==-
Zelda blinked, and gave Vira an odd look. "What a... 'Ar Pee Gee'?" Zelda asked, thinking Vira was insane or something right now. -==IC: Kakariko==- That light then warped her somewhere. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on December 27, 2011, 05:21:54 pm =====IC: Kelss=====
Huh, didn't know dungeon bosses could use warps. =====IC: Viralarirs===== "Well, a Link to the Past was supposed to be an RPG. They changed it for some reason though." Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on December 27, 2011, 05:26:19 pm -==IC: Zelda==-
Zelda continued to look at Vira funny. "Are you feeling alright? You sure that split didn't affect you weirdly?" Zelda asked skeptically, as she had no clue what a 'Link to the past' meant. She knew what a Link was, obviously, but other than that... -==IC: Place==- Kells then ended up in a place that looked like a Fairy Fountain would. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on December 27, 2011, 05:58:10 pm =====IC: Kelss=====
"Yick. Faeries." =====IC: Viralaris===== "I got split into four people. Of course it affected me weirdly!" Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on December 28, 2011, 09:58:31 am -==IC: Place==-
However, there weren't any fairies. There was simply a locked treasure chest in the middle of the room, seemingly glowing. -==IC: Zelda==- "Yes, but it should've just manifested your personality in different forms. Based off what I've heard about the past, when it was last drawn, at least." Zelda said with a shrug. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on December 28, 2011, 02:53:55 pm (All Vira's at once): "Well, it didn't. And seeing things from four different angles is really disorienting!"
~~~ Kelss approached the treasure chest. Hopefully Bosses are allowed to open chests... ~~~ Lisha pointed the hilt of the sword at her reflection in the springs. "HANDS IN THE AIR!" Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on December 28, 2011, 03:00:36 pm -==IC: Zelda==-
Zelda raised an eyebrow when Vira said that. "That's odd... Oh, I know, i don't think the magic fully kicked in." Zelda said with a smile, as she held her arms out in front of her, and closed her eyes as her hands glowed, and the glow then surrounded the four Viras, and when the glow faded, the split was actually a split, and not just a four-body split. OOC: =P This is more like the Four Swords split, not like the cloning in Minish Cap. =P Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on December 28, 2011, 03:04:42 pm (All four Viras): If I kill the others, then I'll be the real one again.
Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on December 28, 2011, 03:12:02 pm -==IC: Zelda==-
"Also, if you kill the others, you might die yourself." Zelda said with a nod. OOC: =P Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on December 28, 2011, 03:14:16 pm *all the Viras sweatdrop*
Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on December 28, 2011, 03:17:29 pm -==IC: Zelda==-
"Plus, Vaati typically needs to be defeated by cooperating with everyone." Zelda pointed out, but frowned. "I've heard that Vaati's minions have been gathering around Faron Woods, near the Lost Woods... Could you go check it out for me?" Zelda asked, concerned about things. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on December 28, 2011, 03:18:47 pm (All the Viras): "No."
OOC: :P Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on December 28, 2011, 03:20:47 pm -==IC: Zelda==-
"If you do it, you'll be one step closer to becoming yourself again." Zelda pointed out. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on December 28, 2011, 03:22:57 pm *all the Viras turn and head toward the Lost Woods*
Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on December 28, 2011, 03:46:40 pm -==IC: Zelda==-
Zelda nodded. "Knew that would work." Zelda said with a smile, as she walked out of the Sanctuary herself. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on December 28, 2011, 03:51:49 pm OOC: Not sure what to do with any of my chars.
Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on December 28, 2011, 03:59:54 pm OOC: Have Kelss try to open the chest, have insane person be insane, and have the four Viras head toward Faron Woods, while all the while bickering amongst each other. =P And also keep in mind what all happened, and have Vira think about that. =P
Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on December 28, 2011, 04:04:20 pm Kelss attempted to force open the chest.
~~~ Lisha swung the hilt of her sword at the water. "How dare you threaten me! I was threatening you!" ~~~ Vira 1: "I think we're lost." Vira 2: "I'm tired!" Vira 3: "Maybe we should get out of the lake before we drown." Vira 4: "FISHIES!" Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on December 28, 2011, 04:08:48 pm OOC: Have you read the Four Swords Adventures manga by any chance? =P
-==IC: Place==- That, in fact, did not work. A shine was noticeable down a hallway nearby, however. -==IC: Wherever Vira Is==- It turned out, however, that they weren't far from the entrance to Faron Province now, however. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on December 28, 2011, 04:11:50 pm OOC: No.
IC: Kelss first attempted to use her psychic powers to open the chest. ~~~ Vira 1: "Hurry it up, people!" Vira 2: "I'm bored!" Vira 3: "What are we looking for, anyway?" Vira 4: "I like pie." Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on December 28, 2011, 04:13:23 pm OOC: Wow. xD
-==IC: Place==- That didn't work either. -==IC: Faron Woods==- A glow could be seen further down the way. There was an 85% chance that that was relative to the mission. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on December 28, 2011, 04:15:51 pm Kelss headed towards the shine.
~~~ Vira 1: "Come on, to the glow!" Vira 2: "I wonder if it's valuable..." Vira 3: "Think there are any Stalfos here?" Vira 4: "TREEZ!!!" Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on December 28, 2011, 04:22:56 pm -==IC: Place==-
The shine continued down the hall. -==IC: Faron Woods==- The glow disappeared, as the woods continued to be in view, but not much else. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on December 28, 2011, 04:27:45 pm Kelss continued to follow the glow. Her legs were getting tired, so she used her psychic powers to hover. I pity humans. They have to walk all the time.
~~~ Vira 1: "Keep moving!" Vira 3: "We don't even know where we're going!" Vira 2: "I'm BORED!" Vira 4: "I wonder if sound is edible." Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on December 28, 2011, 04:47:00 pm -==IC: Place==-
It was still a long way down the hallway, however. -==IC: Faron Woods==- After following the woods, however, they saw an Octorok, all by itself. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on December 30, 2011, 03:41:23 pm Kelss used her psychic powers to move a bit faster.
~~~ (Vira 1): "Just ignore it." (Vira 2): "It might be important." (Vira 3): "KILL IT!" (Vira 4): "Bunny!" Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on January 04, 2012, 07:48:36 pm -==IC: Octorok==-
The Octorok then looked at the four Viras blankly, and then frowned, as it turned around, hearing something odd... Something like... lots of feet slamming against the ground quickly... In a hurry... heading in that direction... Uh-oh. The Octorok thought, as it looked from the direction the sound was coming from, to the four Viralarirs, and sighed, as it held up a white flag, in anticipation of the fact it'd be trampled, sliced, or otherwise killed. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on January 04, 2012, 10:38:28 pm Vira 1: "It seems to be surrendering."
Vira 2: "Good, can we leave now?" Vira 3: "Could be a trap." Vira 4: "Snow is white too! I want a snow cone." Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on January 05, 2012, 09:06:50 am -==IC: Octorok==-
The Octorok got 1 second to attempt to move out of the way... And then the Bokoblin showed up. Yelling and laughing, they ran toward the four Viras, wielding their swords, and obviously wearing their fashionable underpants. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on January 05, 2012, 12:22:02 pm Viras 1 through 3 attacked the Bokoblins.
Vira 4: "Nice underpants!" Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on January 05, 2012, 02:09:53 pm -==IC: Bokoblin==-
The different Bokoblin who were there simply blocked, and counter-attacked. One of them, however, laughed, and nodded at the fourth Vira's comment, before proceeding to attack her as well. OOC: =P Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on January 05, 2012, 02:38:26 pm The three Viras kept fighting.
Vira 4 jumped backwards, talking about cheese as she did. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on January 21, 2012, 12:56:17 am OOC: What's going on with Kelss and crazy sword girl?
Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on January 21, 2012, 08:55:28 am OOC: No clue, you haven't responded with Kelss. =P
-==IC: Bokoblins==- The Bokoblins blocked, and then attempted to slash out at the fours' heads. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: The Truth on January 21, 2012, 01:20:31 pm OOC: Kelss was heading in the direction you told me to send her.
IC: The Viras dodged and attacked again. Title: Re: The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Destiny Post by: Magical Girl Mimi on January 22, 2012, 09:43:40 am OOC: Yes, and I don't really have a clue what I was doing with that anymore. >>'
-==IC: Bokoblins==- The Bokoblins blocked, but one brave one attempted to stab Vira in the shoulder, while the others simply slashed out at the other three. |
