Casters. Humans, with the strange power to harness the heat energy that fills the universe and convert it into weapons made of pure energy. This secret group has been around since nearly 1000 BC, preparing for the Final Battle...and now, that day draws near....


Note: the Caster HQ has a special crystal that measures personal talent. This stat cannot be changed, other than changing from Red to Purple, or an act of the Gamemaster. ::).

Stat levels, from weakest to highest: Clear (the crystal does not change colour). Blue, Green. Black. Red. Purple (Red becomes purple after much training). Gold. (PCs are not allowed Gold stat at this time).

Age: Lily is sixteen and a half, Maria is sixteen.
Bio: Lily and Maria are never seen apart from each other. On rare occasions when they were forced to train alone, their powers greatly diminished. They are both very kind, and neither of them is overly smart. (They're not stupid by any means, though).
Gender: Both Female.
Ability Level: Gold when together, Black when separate.
Appearance: Both girls are quite pretty, and look almost identical, aside from their hair and faces. (and taste in clothes). Maria has green eyes and long, wavy red hair, while Lily has medium length wavy blonde hair and brown eyes.

Name: Jeremy Dusk
Class: TBA.
Level: 50.
Gender: Male.
Bio: Jeremy is the (rather sinister) headmaster of the Caster Academy.
Appearance: short black hair, gold eyes, a cruel smile, and shiny glasses that make seeing his eyes difficult.
Age: Eighteen.

Name: Lord Genisus.
Class: Cyborg Caster.
Level: 95
Age: Old, exact age unknown.
Bio: All that anyone knows is that he is part of the Casters leadership.
Appearance: All anyone ever sees of Lord Genisus is his black cloak, which covers his entire body and hides his face in shadow.

Name: The Angels
Class: Angel.
Level: Varies.
Age: Varies.
Bio: The Angels are mysterious humanoid beings.
Gender: Varies.
Ability Level: N/A
Appearance: Varies.

Name: Gabriel
Class: Archangel.

Age: Many thousand years.
Gender: Male.
Bio: Gabriel is the leader of the Angels. He rarely speaks, and when he does, it is only to proclaim someone guilty or innocent.

Appearance: Eight feet tall and muscular, with tan skin, long golden hair and gold eyes, long horns atop his head, huge spiky wings, and golden body armour. He always carries his nine-foot sword, Avenger, with him.





Name: Sai Kha
Class: Devil warrior.

Age: Between 200 and 1000.
Gender: Male.
Bio: Sai is one of the main Devils, though he is not the leader. He prefers to fight alone, and hates it when one of his fellows gets involved.

Appearance: Slightly taller than average, with pale skin and short brown hair. He always wears a very expensive suit.


Name: Zeil Xan

Bio: Zeil is one of the main Devils, slightly lower on the chain of command than Sai. She does her best to seem cool and tough, but is actually a coward and has no objection to begging for her life if it comes to that.
Appearance: Long red hair with two small golden horns, dark green eyes, and a perpetual half smile. Even if she is completely terrified or in an incredibly bad mood, the half smile will never fully go away. She has a very attractive figure, and usually wears a purple and red outfit. -Probably dead, after what Dusk did to her.

Name: Seliroth, Dark Queen of the Second Sphere
Class: Devil Lord.
Level: 95.

Gender: Female
Age: Unknown.
Appearance: Seliroth is what most people imagine when they think of an angel. A long white dress, fluffy wings, a silver harp, and a halo. She has long blonde hair and eyes that perpetually change colour. Her body seems to give off a golden glow. She always has a kind smile.
Bio: Seliroth is always extremely polite. She has also been known to burst into tears after stepping on an ant. Oh, and she's one of the seven leaders of the Devils.

Name: Kass, Dark Lord of the Fifth Sphere

Appearance: Like Seliroth, Kass looks nothing like a typical Devil. He is tall and thin, with short dark hair, green eyes and glasses. No matter what he does, he manages to look awkward while doing it.
Bio: Kass is one of the seven leaders of the Devils. He doesn't ever get involved in the fighting, as his strengths are more mental. He has a major sweet tooth, and is never far from some form of dessert.

Name: Asmodia, Dark Lady of the Third Sphere

Appearance: Asmodia's true form is unknown - when seen, she generally appears as whatever the viewer finds most beautiful. Her true form is rumoured to resemble a blob of slime, but the veracity of this claim is unknown.
Bio: Asmodia may seem a bit ditzy, but she didn't simply get her title as one of the seven Devil Lords - she earned it.

Appearance: Emerira is of average height, with hair of alternating green and gold stripes. She has dark brown eyes, and often wears a sort of brown toga.
Bio: Emerira will tell you almost anything you want to know - as long as you pay in advance.

Bio: Zay has had an... Interesting life so far, to say the least. He's typically normal, and seems normal from the outside... However, he has a split personality disorder. His normal state is totally fine, friendly, outgoing, wants to help rid the world of evil... But then there's his crazy other personality. Said personality is, well, crazy. It randomly believes it's massively stronger than it actually is(Though sometimes that's true, but that's rare); yells out different types of memes like "I'M OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAND!"; taunts enemies with extreme precision; and does the 'power up' type of move from Dragon Ball Z... To little effect.
Appearance: Zay has black hair that his crazy personality insists to be spiked; his normal self doesn't really care much unless it's spiked like Goku's, and his normal self just puts it back to normal. His crazy self also tends to die his hair gold sometimes, which gets his normal self very annoyed. However, Zay has green eyes... Which does not help to get rid of the gold hair look at all. Also because of Zay's crazy self, Zay typically wears blue martial arts clothing, but only when Zay's crazy personality is in control. Otherwise he actually dresses normally, with a green shirt, and blue jeans.

Bio: Rhea is a cool guy; he fights stuff and doesn't afraid of anything.

Joking aside, Rhea is pretty much a normal guy. He does try to help out whenever he can, but hasn't truly been trying to fight criminals or so until just recently. He also gets teased a lot about his name, and the fact that his red hair stands out, but he explains both away most of the time, especially his name, since it was intended as a different spelling of 'Ray'.
Appearance: Rhea has messy red hair, though more auburn-like than glaring bright red. Rhea has amber eyes, though they were once more of a bright orange. Rhea typically wears a black t-shirt with a green jacket, and blue jeans. His shoes are black and white. Rhea also carries a 'badge' of sorts, that is black and green with a white skull on the front in the center. The skull's eyes are also red.

Ability Level: Highest that the ability level can be, without being Gold. I don't think you want the discovery of the Gold characters to be that easy. =P

Age: 18.
Bio: Quincy's had a fairly normal life for people in this era. She has been trained in the art of archery, and therefore, is more of a ranged weaponry person. For this reason, she typically carries around an empty bow, even though she can't use it without arrows.
Appearance: Quincy has shoulder length black hair, and blue eyes. She typically wears white shirts, with a blue skull somewhere on the shirt as an 'emblem'. However, she typically wears blue jeans, and blue and white shoes. Quincy carries a bow as well typically; but with no arrows. This will be used when she has her power under control, in-game, to fire Casted arrows.

Ability Level: Red
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown?
Bio: Mira is enigmatic. He is a new caster seemingly; yet has more casting experience than a new caster should. There is a 90% chance that he will simply bat away your cast, or somehow steal your cast. Aside from this, no information is known at this current time.
Appearance: Mira is typically shrouded in a red cloak-like vest. He has long fire-red hair, and has purple eyes that radiate a mysterious form of malicious intent. As stated above, Mira displays extraordinary casting potential, and typically casts a seemingly-solid longsword of nearly black dark red energy. Mira's ears appear to be mismatched, though whether this is correct or not is not known at this time.

Name: Kira Hikari
Level: 1, she hasn't fought anything, and isn't strong except for her uncanny ability to kill anything but demons relatively quickly.
Ability Level: Highest possible.
Gender: Female
Age: 23.
Bio: Kira has had an... interesting life, to say the least. She has spent her life trying to learn about law and justice, even of those from the past. However, one day, she came across what appeared to be an ordinary notebook, like would have been used in the past... Except, this notebook could kill. Literally. It turned out that it partially drew off her casting powers, and drew the rest of the power off another source. Due to this power, she has kept knowledge about the notebook hidden.
Appearance: Brown hair that has some curls, but not many. Kira had red eyes that seem to pierce you, and typically dresses in clothes that are black.

Zay randomly appeared out of nowhere... However; his crazy personality was in charge.
"HELLO WORLD!!!" Zay yelled out at the top of his lungs randomly, as he had on his blue martial arts outfit, a triumphant smirk on his face.

OOC: Already I can think of like 1000 things that he could mess up if his crazy side appears. xD

(Girl): *Backs away*

(Man in Black Suit): *Opens cell phone* "We've found him."

(Headmaster Dusk): "Good. Bring him to me. And if he resists...shoot to kill."

OOC: Jeremy has Men in Black? Wow. xD

"Hahaha!" Zay laughed, as he randomly dashed down the street.
"I AM INVIIIIIIINCIBLE!!!" Zay yelled out, obviously still in his insane personality.

(Man in Black Suit #1): "Taser?"

Zay fell down.

Five Men in Black Suits carried him into a giant limo. The windows of the limo (including the windshield) were painted black. The limo drove off.

OOC: The driver has the route memorized...but all others cars and people should run. :P

Zay simply laid in the limo, not moving, as he was unconscious and therefore couldn't do anything else.

After about an hour, the limo parked.

The sudden jolt sent Zay forward slightly, however, he was still unconscious even though he was knocked forward.

(Man in Black Suit #2): "I may have zapped him too hard."

*Water is splashed on him*

"Huh; who; what; where; huh?" Zay asked as he bolted up, looked around, and then blinked.
"Err... Where am I? Did my crazy self get me in trouble again?" Zay asked, as he realized he was wearing the martial arts outfit, and began to put two and two together about what happened. Though likely very wrong in that guess.

The door opened, and a man walked through. Only his face was visible, the rest shrouded in darkness. He adjusted his glasses and smiled cruelly.

"Oh? Didn't know Uryu was actually in this dimension." Zay said with a wide smile; likely having reverted back to his insane self.

OOC: ... Wait a sec... *Looks between that pic and the description* =P

"Welcome to our academy, my new student."

He raised his hand, and a glowing, transparent blue spear appeared in his hand. He hurled it into the air, closed his fist, and it vanished.

Zay clapped like a maniac, a sure sign he was back in his crazy personality.
"Good job, can you shoot arrows like that?" Zay asked with a wide grin, but then paused as what the guy said actually was processed by his personality's fragmented mind.
"Academy? Student? What are you talking about?" Zay asked, with a blank look on his face, as he blinked.

OOC: So much fun will be had with this character. xD

"According to our spies (we've been watching you for a good six months), we have determined that you have sufficient potential to join the Casters."

"Casters? I say, my good man, you lost me at the academy part." Zay stated, a blank look on his face.

OOC: If you mention anything about 'powers' or anything similar, I refuse to take ownership for anything he may or may not do, or anything he may or may not say. =P

"We Casters are humans with...unique abilities. For three thousand years, we have fought the Demons in secret. But now, the Final Battle draws near, and we need all the troops we can muster. Follow me, and we will measure your abilities."

"Abilities?" Zay asked, as he suddenly paid attention.
"Yeah, I have abilities; in fact, I have a bunch of abilities; would you like me to show you?" As he suddenly started to get more of a crazed look on his face.
"In fact, I'm also very strong, and can easily lift a car, want me to show you that too? I'm sure it wouldn't take long, and I could just use this limo as a demonstration if you wish, would that work? Or would you rather just some random car? I could also knock out someone in one hit. Or, ooh, i can shoot energy out of my palms! I'll show you that one later though, too much stuff that could get broken here. Anything else you wish to know about my abilities? I have lots of power, I could really demonstrate that easily, did I just say that? Nah, I don't think so, but how should I know? It's not like one of my abilities is uber memory, I believe someone else might have that, but I don't. 'Course; don't listen to anything my other self says, he don't know a thing, I'm the one you listen to, yes siree, definitely listen to me." Zay said with a rapid nodding of his head.

OOC: Now I see why Flipz was having so much fun in Skies with his Hippie character. xD

Zay was suddenly surrounded by glowing transparent blue knives, hovering in midair. "Shut up and come with me."

The knives vanished.

OOC: And why I love Shiza as a character. :P

Zay raised an eyebrow, and nodded rapidly, closing his mouth then.

The man led the way to a room made entirely of stained glass, with a large ruby podium in the center. A giant clear crystal was on the podium, and two very attractive girls were polishing the podium.

OOC: What would be funnier, insane Zay trying to introduce himself to the girls, or sane Zay? =P

OOC: Start insane, then switch. :P

But I assure you: They're not interested in either version.

OOC: Worth a shot anyway. But yes, that would so be good. >=D

Zay started in the room by following the man, but then saw the two girls, and any hopes of him staying on track, especially with his insane mind, were gone.
"Why hello there, ladies." Zay said, as he walked up to them with an insane smile on his face.
"What are you up to this fine, err, evening? Or is it day? Hmm; never can tell those two apart." Zay said, as he pondered that, but shook his head.
"None the less, how are you two, and what are you doing?"

The redhead created a giant hammer and smashed him with it.

Zay raised an eyebrow, as he barely dodged the blow.
"Now, now, ladies, no need to get feisty." Zay said, and then paused, and looked around blankly.
"Hmm? Now how did I get here? ... Oh, hello there, I don't believe we've met." Zay said with a friendly smile to the two girls, not realizing the mess his insane self had already caused.

The girls looked at each other.
(Blonde girl): "I think you hit him harder than you meant."

Zay was slightly confused at that.
"Hit me? What do you mean by that-" Zay started to ask, and then paused, realized what had happened, and sighed.
"Oh; I get it now." Zay said, and slightly chuckled.
"Split personality disorder. You must've just run into my insane self." Zay said, as he tapped his head slightly.

(Blonde): "Okay....I'm Maria Ross-er, Maria Koss. Sorry, too much Fullmetal Alchemist last night..."

(Redhead): "I'm Lily Star. You are? Other than crazy, I mean."

"My name is Zay Pod." Zay said, but then paused.
"Though, for some reason, people sometimes nickname me "Beeblebrox"; though I'm not quite sure why." Zay added with a shrug.

The girls looked at each other and made a face.

(Man): "Move along, girls. You have the rest of the night off. We need to use the crystal."

The girls happily ran out.

"Crystal? What's that for?" Zay asked, curious.

"Place your hands on it."

"For poooooower? Okay!" Zay said eagerly, a very good sign he was insane once more, as he placed his hands on the crystal.

The crystal filled with a brilliant red light.

"Ooh, pretty red light, that a good thing, or bad, because typically red means stop, so should I be worried, I don't think so, but I think that you should tell me, just in case I'm wrong, I'm rambling again, aren't I." Zay said non stop, and then blinked.

OOC: Insane Zay = Awesome. =P

"Red. Impressive power."

The man placed his hands on the crystal, which glowed a darker shade of red. "Now, for a formal introduction. I am Headmaster Jeremy Dusk, which you can also tell your sane self."

OOC: I accidentally typed "Jeremy Duck" at first. :P

OOC: xD I'll take that and run with it, thank you very much. =)

Zay nodded.
"Ah, I see then, nice to meet you, Jeremy Duck." Zay said with a smile, not even realizing that he had said that wrong.

*Jeremy takes a cue from the girls and bonks him with a giant hammer*

"DUSK."

"Ah, right, that's what I was saying, Husk." Zay said with a nod, still his insane self.

OOC: Running joke, anyone? =P

The hammer doubled in size and hit again.


"D. U. S. K."

Zay nodded.
"Okay Dust." Zay said with a smile, and subconsciously took a step back.

A glowing anvil fell on him.

"Dusk. As in, the time of day."


OOC: He's gonna call him Dawn next, right?

"Okay Dawny boy."

A giant frying pan whacked him.

"DUSK!"

"Roger, Tusk." Zay said with his insane smile.

The headmaster sighed and turned to leave, bumping into the girls as they reentered.

Zay smiled like an idiot, and waved at the girls.
"Hiya!" Zay called out, still in his crazy personality.

*The girls look at each other*

(Maria): "Still not interested."

The girls walked over to the crystal.

(Lily): "Mind if we check our powers, Headmaster?"

(Jeremy): "Be my guest."

"Not interested in talking? Alright, I'll just stand here then, and be... awesome." Zay said with a smile, as he leaned next to a pillar.

The girls placed their hands on the crystal. The crystal filled with a brilliant gold light...and exploded. the largest shard flew at Zey.

(Jeremy): "I'll...go find another crystal, I guess."

Zay ducked, and then stood up and clapped.
"Brilliant show; very nice job." Zay said, his insane self processing that explosion as being on purpose, but then stopped, and looked at the mess of exploded crystal.
"Now what happened here?" Zay asked, a frown on his face, as he looked up and raised an eyebrow at the girls.
"Did you two do that?"

(Lily): "Ah, the sane version. Yes...we overloaded the crystal again."

(Maria): "our powers are gold level, and it can only handle up to purple, so..."

-==IC: Zay==-

"Ah, I see." Zay said with a nod.
"If I got the info from my insane self properly; I believe my power level is about... red?" Zay said, and shrugged.
"It was a reddish colour I believe." Zay said with a sheepish grin, but then paused for a moment, and thought.
"So that would mean that your power is extremely great, wouldn't it?" Zay asked, to confirm his thought.

OOC: Still sane, don't worry. =P

(Lily): "Red is lower than purple, but it's not bad."

"No, no, you mentioned your powers were Gold, which is greater than purple due to the crystal exploding, which would mean your powers are extremely powerful, correct?" Zay asked, curious about that.

OOC: Still sane. =P

(Lily): "Well, we're kinda on the same level as...as..."


(Headmaster Dusk): *reenters the room*: "The Chosen Ones of God, which you are."

OOC: I called him Duck again. :headdesk:

Just then, the insane side decided to make his grand retrun.
"Ah, Ducky, how are you this fine day?" Zay asked, his wide goofy smile on his face.

OOC: =P

*Dusk turns and leaves*

"Hmm; apparently he has better things to do right now. Ah well." Zay said with his smile, as he looked back to the girls.
"So; what're you gonna do for the encore?" Zay asked, still thinking that the explosion of the crystal was on purpose.

*Both girls sweatdrop*

(Lily): "We...didn't do that on purpose."

"Oh, play modest, I get it." Zay said with a knowing nod.
"So; what are you two gonna do now then; make something disappear?" Zay asked, not realizing that could also apply to them making Zay be thrown out the window.

Zay found himself launched out of the room by a glowing catapult.

Huh. Well that's certainly different. Zay thought, as he flew through the air.

(Lily): "Nice."

(Maria): "Thanks."

(Headmaster Dusk): "You're getting extra dinner tonight, girls. Headmaster Duck indeed..."

Zay turned to his sane self mid flight, and looked around.
"Hmm. That's weird; why am I flying through the air?" Zay mused to himself, and played back the very insane events of just a few seconds ago.
"Ah. I see." Zay said, and nodded, right before he slammed into a wall, and was knocked out for the second time that day.

He woke up with a tall humanoid standing over him. Its skin was gold, it had bright red eyes, and strange mechanical parts sticking out of its body. It had long brown hair, short horns, and was very tall. It appeared to be male.

Zay blinked, and looked around.
"Huh. For once in my life, I'm not sure whether this is my insane personality, or actually me." Zay stated, and tried to see if he could get away until he figured out if this thing was friendly or not.

"Oh yes? And what forces might those be? If I knew, maybe I might be able to stop meddling with them." Zay asked with a friendly smile to the robot thingy.

OOC: Definitely one of my favourite characters. ::)

"Alright next question is... Exactly how am i doing that?" Zay asked with a blink, as he frowned slightly.

"Well I can't really change that. And if you meant my split personality disorder, that's not exactly something I can help." Zay said with a shrug.

"Well that's not fair; doesn't a man get to choose his own fate?" Zay asked, as he backed up slightly.

"No."

The being raised its arm...and was blasted away by a wave of energy.

(Maria): "We got here just in time!"

(Lily): "Sorry about getting you into this in the first place, by the way."

"Oh, thank you, now, uh, anyone mind explaining what's going on?" Zay asked with a blink, as he quickly stood up, and brushed himself off, paused as he realized he was still wearing the martial arts outfit, and sighed.

(Maria): "You just got attacked by an Angel."

(Lily): "Luckily for us, it was a low-level one. It retreated pretty quickly."

(Maria): "Even Headmaster Dusk has a hard time against high-level Angels."

"Ah, I see. Just one question; what are Angels?" Zay asked, as he beat his insane side to speaking. If he hadn't, his crazy persona likely would've asked something like 'Do these Angels weep' or something.

(Both girls in unison): "We have no idea."

"Ah, I see." Zay said with a nod.
"What do they want, though? Aside from wanting to kill me, of course."

(Headmaster Dusk): "They want to prevent us from achieving our destiny. They want mankind to lose the Final Battle."

"Hmm. Okay; how 'bout we start from the beginning, because I'm confused, and I'm the sane side." Zay said with a sigh.

(Dusk): "l'll explain..as long as you keep that insane side under control."

"I'm trying. It likes to choose bad times to appear though, which tends to cause me trouble." Zay explained with a sheepish smile.

(Dusk): "I see. Anyway...our legend is as follows...

Nearly three thousand years ago, our founder, the First Caster, had a vision. He saw an army of Demons rising from the depths of H***. He saw people with powers like his own (in other words, other Casters) fighting the demons. And he saw the end of the world...the Final Battle. His vision told him that there would come a day when the sever Chosen Ones of God would appear. They would be more powerful than any other Casters...(That is to say, they would have Gold-Level powers). They would battle the entire army of Demons..if they won, H*** would be destroyed and evil itself would cease to be. If they lost...Earth and Heaven alike would be overrun with Demons."

"Ah..." Zay said with a nod.
"I see then. So the Angels want to stop that?"

"So it seems...though, if they really are Angels, I wonder why they'd want the Demons to win..."

-==IC: Zay==-

"Maybe... They're Fallen Angels?" Zay suggested, with a shrug.

"Hmm...well, our scholars are fairly certain that God is no longer around...whether He is asleep or tending to another Universe, we don't know...but since He's not around, it's possible the Angels could have turned evil...We should get back inside."

-==IC: Zay==-

Zay nodded.
"That would be a good idea."

Dusk led the way inside.

(Lily): "So..do your personalities talk to each other?"

-==IC: Zay==-

"I only have two, me and my insane self; and we don't talk in the normal sense; though I can every so often go back and reflect on the events that happened. It's complicated." Zay explained.

(Maria): "Sounds like it."


(Dusk): "So, Zay...ready to begin your training?"

-==IC: Zay==-

Zay nodded.
"Yes, headmaster."

"Good." *Claps hands*

Two robots emerged from a door, heavily armed.

"Voice activation: Headmaster Dusk. Command: Kill this boy."

-==IC: Zay==-

Zay blinked.
"U-uh... What do you mean 'kill'?" Zay asked, as he didn't take his eyes off the robot.

The robots attacked him, using lethal force.

-==IC: Zay==-

Zay barely dodged the attack, his eyes wide.
"Uh; what;s going on?!"

OOC: He doesn't really know how to activate his powers. =P

OOC: I know. But in many Casters, their powers appear when they are in extreme danger, even if they can't control them.

IC: (Training Robot 1): "Exterminate."

-==IC: Zay==-

Zay, of course, turned insane at that moment.
"Now excuse me; how did Daleks show up here?" Zay asked, before he ducked to avoided an attack.
"If you seek refuge form the Doctor, I could definitely help; you don't need to kill me to make me help you."

OOC: =P Shouldn't've said Exterminate. =P

The robots were not impressed, and continued to attack.

Zay ducked out of the way, as he ran away from the robots, not sure how to handle them. Technically not even sure why they were attacking, given he wasn't anywhere near in control when they showed up.

The droids pressed their attack.

(Maria): "They'll kill him!"

(Dusk): "If he can't defeat them, he deserves his fate."

(Lily): "But-"

(Dusk): "If you even THINK about helping him, you'll be spending the night in the Training Room."

*Both girls gulp*

Zay ran away slightly for a moment, but then stopped, and turned around, and smirked.
"I command you, under section 13 of the Shadow Proclamation, to STOP." Zay stated, as he held his hand out, and a burst of red energy was sent from his hand to the robots who were after him.

OOC: I'm not sure how to categorize this; it's like an in-between personality almost. I don't know. *Shrug* =P

The robots were blown backwards.

(Dusk): "Shut down. Test complete."

The door opened, and a cloaked figure entered. Dusk and the girls instantly bowed.

(Dusk): "Lord Genisus! Welcome!"

"Genesis? Where?! That's one of my favourite bands!" Zay called out, signalling that he had returned to his insane side, yet again.

Lord Genisus looked carefully at Zay.
"Who is this?"

-==IC: Zay==-

"I'm Zay Pod, some people nickname me Beeblebrox, not sure why, nice to meet you, now has anyone seen where genesis is? I really want to meet them, and if they're doing a concert, maybe I might even get to sing onstage, that'd be cool." Zay said, as he started to ramble on mostly to himself.

"They've got gold records, yes." Zay nodded, totally misunderstanding the question.

OOC: xD

(Dusk): "No, he's a Red."


(Lord Genisus): "Then he has no value to me. The third Gold should be appearing very soon, keep alert."

-==IC: Quincy==-

Quincy walked through the nearby city, as she looked around. Her bow was safely fastened to her back, but she would be able to quickly grab it to use if needed... Though, of course, there was the problem of her having no arrows to shoot from the bow.
Of course, that was the only way I'd be able to carry the bow around... Quincy reminded herself with a sigh.

Arachaz followed Quincy at a short distance. Arachaz wasn't overly intelligent, but it did know that the human would make a tasty snack....

Gabriel, leader of the Angels, landed on the balcony of the hotel where the Chosen One was. This time, the Angels would get the Chosen One first....

OOC: You can now use both of the new chars.

OOC: Was gonna ask how that dictated where I start, and then I realized you meant me to start in that hotel. =P

Quincy walked along the nearby road, but had a strange feeling that something was behind her, but shrugged it off.
I doubt it's anything important. Quincy thought with a chuckle.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea was currently sitting on a chair, in the hotel that was mentioned.
Now why would someone tell me to come here? The person said it was important, but didn't say why... Rhea thought, his badge on a table nearby.
I've got a bad feeling for some reason...

The window behind Rhea exploded in a shower of glass. A humanoid entered. He was easily eight feet tall, with long golden hair and gold eyes, long horns atop his head, huge spiky wings, and clad in golden body armour.

Arachaz spat some webbing at the human, intending to eat her right there.

Quincy just happened to turn right at that moment, and the webbing passed right by her, leaving Quincy unaware that something was tyring to attack her, though she still had that feeling that something was following her.

Rhea frowned, as he grabbed his badge, and looked at the newcomer.
"What do you want?" Rhea demanded, as he mentally tried to determine what could actually be done at that moment.

Arachaz leaped at Quincy right as she bent over to pick up a penny and crashed into a wall.

(Gabriel): "Cast in the name of God...Ye not Guilty."

"What are you talking about?" Rhea asked, with a growl, as he stepped back slightly.

Quincy blinked, as she looked up, and saw the rubble.
"Huh. Someone must have been going too fast." Quincy said, as she then continued walking.

OOC: I'm gonna say she's really lucky, okay? =P

Gabriel drew a huge (IE, twelve feet) sword and pointed it at Rhea's throat.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea growled, and attempted toquickly figure out what to do; but in the mean-time, his badge began to inconspicuously glow, but not enough so that it could be seen.

Arachaz leaped at Quincy again.

Gabriel stood still, and said nothing.

Quincy, however, happened to trip at that moment, and fell to the ground, once again sending the being flying right over her.

"So, what do you want? And say it in English this time." Rhea said with a frown.

OOC: You planning on rescuing him, or am I supposed to fight my way out? Just wondering, so I know how to react. =P

Arachaz climbed out of the sewer he had landed in, annoyed. He spat more webbing at the human.

Gabriel pushed the blade slowly into Rhea's neck, drawing blood. A second later, he was sent flying.

(Dusk): "That was too close for comfort."

OOC: So, this takes place a few hours after Zay joined the Casters.

What's going on?" Rhea demanded, as he gripped the badge, which began to glow a little brighter.

(Dusk): "No time to explain. Follow us if you want to live-this being is too powerful to fight. Girls, hold that Angel off as long as you can, then run."

(Maria & Lily): "Yes, Headmaster!"

The girls Cast two identical swords, and rushed to confront Gabriel.

"But; if it's too powerful to fight, won't they get hurt?" Rhea asked, as he frowned, not wanting to just let them be attacked.

-==IC: Quincy==-

Quincy, however, had suddenly turned a corner, still unaware of what was going on, and the webbing missed once more.

(Dusk): "They'll run as soon as we're safely out of the building."

Arachaz leaped at her, overshot, and crashed through a building.

-==IC: Rhea==-

"Alright... If you say so..." Rhea said, and frowned again, but then ran out of the room, and started to run down the hall, as his badge continued to glow slightly in his hand.

There was an explosion, and Maria and Lily flew out the window.

(Dusk): "They lasted longer than I expected."

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea frowned at that.
"Isn't there any way we could help them? That thing has an agenda; by getting in the way, they'll likely be killed..." Rhea said, as he continued to run toward the exit of the hotel.

(Dusk): "Angels only kill the person they're after. Now that it's knocked the girls aside, it'll ignore them until they attack again. Now run!"

Rhea nodded, as he picked up his pace and ran toward the door... He was nearly there...

Gabriel's sword landed in front of him, cutting his hair slightly as it passed over him.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea stopped suddenly as the sword nearly hit him, and whirled around with a frown.
"Dang it." Rhea said with a growl, as the badge began to glow a little more noticeably.

Gabriel smiled, an expression that looked more like a grimace.
"Cast in the name of God, Ye Guilty."
He held out his hand, and the sword returned to him.

Rhea saw the sword return to Gabriel's hand, but didn't really care at that point.
Last stand huh? Rhea thought, as he still hadn't realized yet that his badge was glowing, even though the glow was getting brighter by the second.
"Then I better... Go down fighting!" Rhea thought, as he ran toward the Angel, gringing his teeth in anger, as he pulled his hand back.

OOC: First cast during this? =P

OOC: Sure.

IC: Gabriel swung the sword.

BOOC: Remember, the sword is nine feet.

As Rhea dodged the sword attack, the badge glowed very brightly, as he 'punched' out with the badge, a very bright glow of gold being released toward Gabriel, as Rhea simply growled at Gabriel, focused on this intently; but not realizing what was truly happening.

Gabriel leaped back.

-==IC: Rhea==-

"I suggest you don't test me." Rhea said coldly, as his badge continued to glow, and he simply glared at Gabriel.

(Dusk): "Get back here, you idiot! He's invincible!"

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea, however, simply 'punched' out with his badge once more, and sent out another blast of the glowing gold energy, intending to send Gabriel back once more at the very least.

This time, Gabriel ignored the beam of light and walked right through it, unharmed.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea narrowed his eyes, and growled slightly, as he backed up for a second, and then sighed, and ran out the door quickly with another growl.

OOC: Darn. =P

~~~Five Minutes Later~~~
The girls met up with Dusk and Rhea in a run down building a few block away.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea frowned, as he leaned against a wall in the building, and thought over the events.
"What did that thing want, anyway?" Rhea asked, as he held his badge in his hand still, though it wasn't glowing right at that second.

(Dusk): "No idea. The Angels started appearing fifty years ago, shortly after the nuclear war wiped out 95% of all life on earth."

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea frowned.
"Okay, rephrase, what did that thing want with me?" Rhea asked, not knowing why he was targeted.

"Well, the Angels appear to be targeting Gold Level Casters..."

Dusk then explained about the Casters.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea nodded, understanding this much faster than Zay did.
"So, these gold level casters are pretty much at their most powerful then?" Rhea asked, just to be certain of that.

(Dusk): "Correct, in term of pure potential. However, a Red or Purple level could easily beat up an untrained Gold."

-==IC: Rhea==-

"Ah." Rhea said, with a nod, but paused.
"So, what now?"

(Dusk): "You could train to become a Caster. Or, we could send you out and see how long it takes for the Angels to find you."

Arachaz hissed loudly and charged the oblivious human.

-==IC: Quincy==-

Unfortunately, Quincy decided on that moment to walk across the street, and the light turned green for traffic heading across that crosswalk right after she reached the other side.

OOC: =P

-==IC: Rhea==-

"I think this Caster stuff might be an intriguing possibility. I'll train to become one." Rhea said with a nod.

(Dusk): "Excellent. There's a secret tunnel beneath this warehouse that leads to the Caster Academy."

The last thing Arachaz saw was the underside of a garbage truck.


(Sai): "Hahaha! Impressive, girl! You just killed a twenty foot spider without knowing it!"

So saying, the Demon jumped off the top of the ruined building and landed before Quincy.

"Who are you?" Quincy asked with a frown, as she got ready to fight just in case she was attacked.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea nodded, and looked around.
"Let's go, then."

The man before Quincy bowed. He wore an expensive suit, had short light brown hair, and red eyes. "My name is Sai. I am what you humans might call a Devil."

Dusk led the way into the dark tunnel.

-==IC: Quincy==-

Quincy raised an eyebrow at that.
"And exactly what do you want?" Quincy asked, although she didn't drop her guard.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea followed, as he wondered why the Angel hadn't tried to attack them yet.
Or is it a case of that they can't attack here? Rhea thought, as he followed.

(Sai): "Nothing much. I just feel like killing."

As if in answer to Rhea's unspoken question, Dusk said "Angels can't go underground."

Quincy frowned, and prepared to fight if necessary.
"Oh really now?" Quincy asked, and grimaced slightly, as her bow would not be helpful at all right now.

-==IC: Rhea==-

"Ah, I see." Rhea said, and nodded.

Sai tapped Quincy on the nose, and she was hurled across the street.

(Maria): "Ow!"

(Lily): "Sorry."

(Dusk): "Quiet, you two."

-==IC: Quincy==-

Luckily for her, the light was red, so no cars were passing. That said, being flung through the air and hitting the sidewalk hard does hurt, and Quincy winced as she flipped a few times, and grabbed the bow off her back, and looked around for something pointy to shoot; anything.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea focused at that moment, both on getting through the tunnel, and recalling what had all happened that day, to try and make sense of it.
And it started off normal too. Rhea thought, as he slightly shook his head.

Sai laughed, bowed to Quincy, and leaped to the top of another building. An instant later, he was gone.

(Dusk): "OW! Well...I guess this means we've arrived. Or stalactites have appeared."

"How can you tell?" Rhea asked with a smirk, as he slightly chuckled.

-==IC: Quincy==-

Quincy frowned, as she stood up, brushed herself off, and then continued down the street once more.

(Dusk): "Because I just smacked my head on the trapdoor."

-==IC: Rhea==-

"That makes sense then." Rhea said with a snicker, as he waited for when they'd actually reach the interior of the Academy.

Dusk opened the trapdoor.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea waited, as he wondered how much longer it'd take for them to actually enter the Academy.

Dusk led them into the Academy.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea followed him, and looked around a little bit, but he was more focused on the training that would happen shortly than the decor.

Dusk led the way to the crystal. "Place your hands here. We want to make sure you really are a Gold."

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea nodded, and put his left hand onto the crystal. However, just then, his badge glowed gold once more, and the crystal did as well... Very briefly. And then it shattered like it did for the girls, as Zay clapped like a maniac in the corner.

OOC: =P

(Dusk): "Yep, you're a Gold."

(Lord Genisus): *Appears from the shadows*: "Those Crystals are very rare, Dusk..."

"Alright, next step?" Rhea asked, as he stretched slightly to prepare for the next part of the training.

(Dusk): "Girls, you know what to do."

Maria and Lily nodded, Cast swords for themselves, and rushed Rhea.

Rhea narrowed his eyes with a frown, as he jumped back slightly, and then punched out with his Badge like he had done back at the hotel, as another glowing blast was erratically shot forward.
It's strange. It's almost as if that instinct to use that power has always been there; yet I've never had it before. Rhea thought, as he reflected over how easy it had been to use that blast so far.

Maria used her sword to reflect the black back at Rhea, while Lily charged at him from the side.

Rhea rolled to the side to avoid the attacks, but frowned, as he gripped the badge with a frown.
How do I handle this... It's not the first time I've fought against a sword... Or with one. But there aren't any swords nearby... Rhea thought, as he tried to think of a way to combat this.

OOC: No auto-summoning something for me; I'm wanting to have Rhea figure this out, or have it activate when I want it too, since I have an idea, since this is pretty much a reference character. =P

Maria charged at him from the front, and Lily hurled a glowing sphere at him. The sphere had a picture of a bunny on it.

Rhea jumped back out of the way of the sphere, but also aimed to land to the right side as much as possible, to try and get out of the way of the charge attack, as he tried to focus.
What was that that Dusk said... You need to focus on what you wish to cast? Was that it? Or focus on how to... No, that can't be it... maybe it's focus on what to cast with... Rhea thought, as he tried to focus on his badge, for the moment.

OOC: Using items as a focus might not be required, but I'm still using the badge as a base. =P

Maria leaped backwards as the sphere exploded violently.

Rhea jumped backwards once more the avoid the explosion, as he concentrated on trying to generate something; anything, that might help.

OOC: Did you say weapons, or more focused blasts usually come first? =P

OOC: Blasts.

OOC: Perfect. >=D And then colour changes after all that, or in between the blasts and weapons?

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea frowned, as he tried to figure out how to handle this, when his badge glowed bright. Rhea frowned, but noticed that the glow seemed almost like it was about to form something.
That's what Dusk said would happen... So maybe this is a hint that my powers are starting to truly awaken... Rhea thought, as he jumped to the side, and tried to put some distance between him and the two girls for the moment, as he attempted to figure this out.
It still seems like energy, however... Rhea thought, as he gripped the badge, 8 interconnected spokes beginning to be visible surrounding his hand, as he continued to run for the moment.

OOC: This isn't actually a weapon or anything forming, it's more a set-up to Rhea's blast, seeing at it's pretty much Ichigo's Getsuga Wheel fullbring. =P

The girls pursued him.

OOC: Everyone starts with a Blue colour. If they're skilled enough, they can customise the colour.

OOC: =O Well THAT is awesome. I was thinking that everyone started out with the colour being the same as their energy type... And here I was making mistakes. D= At least now Quincy doesn't need any actual changes to her energy type for her reference to be accurate. =D

Rhea narrowed his eyes, and then grabbed his badge with both hands as the 8 spokes generated, and then whirled around and sliced upwards, as he released a blue 8-spoked 'wheel' of energy that was sent toward the girls quickly.
That's an interesting effect. I wasn't totally expecting that, but looks like instinct worked again here... Rhea thought, as he waited to see what happened.

The girls jumped aside.

(Dusk): "Hold!"

Rhea paused, with a slight frown, as he froze with his arm in the air, holding his badge, as he had already started to generate the next blast.
"Whatdya want?" Rhea asked, his eyebrows furrowed in slight annoyance at the brief interruption in training.

OOC: =P

"You passed the test, and I do not want my two prize students hurt. You will be moved to the Training Room."


(Lord Genisus): *silence*

OOC: I wonder if Zay is curious why Genisus wears a cloak that hides his entire body? >:D

OOC: Nah, I have another plan for Zay to get beaten up, and I doubt he'll like it to happen twice in a row. =P

"Alright then." Rhea said, as the spokes faded away, and Rhea put his badge in his pocket for the moment.
"Lead the way then."

OOC: aww...:P

IC: Dusk led him into an immense room.

-==IC: Rhea==-

However, right before they got there, Zay started to run at Rhea quickly.
"New guuuuuuy~" Zay yelled out, and right before Zay reached the two, Rhea held out his arm quickly, and sent Zay falling to the ground.
"Yes...?" Rhea asked, as he simply looked down for a moment.

OOC: =P

*Dusk facepalms*

Zay simply laid on the ground, as his foot twitched in the air, while Rhea shrugged off the fact that anything happened, and simply continued to walk toward the training room.
"So, how will this training work?" Rhea asked, curious at that.

(Dusk): "You will have to fight off many captured Demons and our automated defenses as long as you can."

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea nodded, as he stepped into the room, and then willed the first part of his energy blast to generate.
"Alright then, that sounds good to me."

OOC: Just to check, casted weapons are typically actually solid, correct?

OOC: They're more like lightsabers.

IC: Several combat droids attacked.

OOC: Hmm. Well, that still works, but then technically in a way, the pending blast is a weapon that does almost nothing to an opponent. xD

Rhea jumped to the left to avoid the blasts, and ran to the side, before he unleashed the wheel at the robots, and then summoned a second blast which he sent flying at the remaining robots.

The robots were destroyed.

"Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit. Maecenas porttitor congue massa."


(Dusk): "Ah, looks like you're attracted one of the captured Demons. Don't kill it, please."

"Is taking off some of it's limbs at least okay?" Rhea asked with a frown, as he gripped his badge to prepare for the next blast, as he waited for what happened next.

(Dusk): "Yes. Limbs regenerate."

A shadow moved swiftly across the floor.

OOC: Think Bongo-Bongo when he first escaped the Well.

Rhea jumped to the side, as he saw the shadow and attempted to avoid it. He then gripped his badge with both hands, and attempted to send a blast out at the demon, but noticed that the spokes on the wheel were beginning to vanish.
Maybe it has to do with me using this ability... Rhea thought with a slight frown.

OOC: Again, part of the whole Ichigo reference... That fullbring is just too awesome to not use. =P

The Demon rose up, becoming a six-armed humanoid composed entirely of shadows.

Rhea raised an eyebrow, kinda regretting the fact that he had used a blast on nothing, but said nothing, as he strafe-ran around the room, in an attempt to wait for the 'cooldown' for the blast to be over, and then launched a full-powered wheel blast at one of the Demon's arms quickly.

The demon opened its mouth impossibly wide and charged, intending to swallow him whole.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea, however, rolled to the right quickly, and aimed to have one of his wheel blasts aim upwards and slice through one of the demon's arms.

The arm grew back instantly, and the demon hissed angrily at him.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea, however, took advantage of his moment's distraction, and without a comment, sent a third wheel blast at the demon's leg, and then ran to the side, as he waited for the blast's cooldown to be over once more.

The demon turned back into a shadow and fled as two spider demons attacked.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea jumped back, and used the blast's passive form as a makeshift shield to attempt to guard against the Spider demons, however, that didn't really help that much, but did help to provide enough time for Rhea to get his blast back to full power... And he then sliced out with the blast at one of the demons quickly.

One of the demons was knocked out.

Rhea then quickly turned, and attempted to do the same to the other demon that was quickly approaching.

It worked.

(Dusk): "Good job! You've aced Kindergarten mode!"

OOC: Where is Quincy?

OOC: Very good question, roaming around waiting for someone to recruit her. ::)

OOC: Well...No active Casters are in the area..but both the Angels and the Devils under Sai's command are there. >:D

IC: *A snake-like demon slithers up behind her*

OOC: I didn't- Oh whatever. xD

Quincy, of course, continued to walk along the street, unaware something was behind her, as usual.

The serpent demon spat venom at her.

However, as is typical, Quincy avoid the move by her unawareness, as she turned a corner then.

The venom melted through a wall. The snake demon moved to strike at Quincy's neck, but it's head was suddenly cut off. Gabriel landed beside it and retrieved his sword, then approached Quincy.

(Dusk): "Ready for a harder mode?"

Quincy, however, simply continued down the sidewalk, unaware that anything was wrong at all.

"Bring it." Rhea said, as he gripped his badge, another blast being readied.

A giant scorpion demon attacked.

Gabriel walked up behind Quincy.

OOC: Just being near Gabriel makes everything look sort of distorted, so Quincy is bound to notice something. :P

(Zeil): An Angel?! What's he doing here? The Boss didn't say anything about a Gold here, so there's no reason for an Angel to be here. Unless they've...I'd better tell Sai.

*Zeil steps backwards and steps on a can, which crunches loudly*

(Zeil): Oh ****

OOC: 0_o That's the first time you've posted a bump so soon. =P Only reason I didn't post, was because I had a ton of other stuff to look at last night, and simply ran out of time, since Chuck was on. xD

Quincy frowned, as she felt a powerful force behind her, and noticed that things were... wrong. She quickened her pace, however, was ready to try and figure out another way to get away if she needed to.

OOC: Say... Could power be masked somehow? Just curious, there.

Rhea narrowed his eyes, and then gripped his badge, as he sent a wheel blast flying toward the scorpion demon quickly.
How long do I have to train at this? It feels like I'm wasting time here, which could be spent doing other things... Rhea thought, a frown on his face, as he prepared for whatever happened next.

OOC: It would be very difficult to mask power.

IC: Gabriel turned to Zeil. "Cast in the Name of God, Ye not." 

(Zeil): *gulps*

Gabriel turned back to Quincy and quickly caught up to her, still keeping an eye on Zeil.

The scorpion demon dodged and counterattacked.

OOC: Would it be possible to subconsciously do that though? To fool even the crystal? Or is that impossible? I'm just running through possible situations. =P

Rhea growled, even as he jumped out of the way.
"Is that all? Heh." Rhea stated, as he sliced out with a second wheel blast at the Scorpion Demon, shortly after he landed.

OOC: How much training is typically needed for a different stage of casting usage?

OOC: 1: The crystal is all knowing. :P

2: Not sure what you mean by different  stage.

IC: The scorpion demon spat venom and dodged.

Gabriel stepped in front of Quincy.

OOC: 1. Darn. It would've been so fun and epic to have everyone convince someone was a lowly blue or green caster, and then have their power revealed upon having a limiter released in an epic fashion to be a purple or gold caster. xD

2. Aka, like, get to the point where I can cast a weapon that'd actually do damage instead of simply being a in-progress stage of an energy blast. =P

Rhea rolled to the right, and ran for a little bit, as he tried to figure out what was the most dangerous aspect of the Scorpion, aside from it's venom spitting attack. He was formulating a plan of sorts, but those details would be the key between it working or not.

"So, you're the one who's been following me." Quincy stated, as she stopped, and frowned at the newcomer.

OOC: Hmm...once you defeat the Scorpion Demon.

IC: Gabriel advanced on Quincy. "Cast in the Name of God, Ye not Guilty."

*Zeil takes a step back*

Gabriel quickly threw his sword. it gave Zeil a haircut and returned to his hand.

(Zeil): "OK, I'm not moving."

-==IC: Quincy==-

"Why are you attacking people?" Quincy asked, with narrowed eyes, as she tried to figure out the best way to draw her bow, before the weird person attacked.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea frowned, and then looked at the tail, and then smirked.
"Alright then." Rhea said, as he then ran straight forward at the demon, ready to move to the right to avoid any venom attacks, as he gripped his badge with both hands, energy radiating around it to form the spokes of the wheel blast, which he released at the scorpion demon's tail when he was close enough... Close enough that the demon couldn't dodge the attack, at least not fully, once he unleashed it.
"Rhah!" Rhea yelled out, as he sliced the wheel-like blast at the Scorpion quickly, partially using a jump to get closer, even as he swung the blast out at the tail.

OOC: All that was the same move, just expanding what happened. Think of it almost like those instant replays you see in anime series all the time, where the same attack happens multiple times, just to show the awesomeness of it. =P

The scorpion demon was knocked out.

(Zeil): "Hey! I an NOT a person!"

*Gabriel looks at her*

(Zeil): "Shutting up now."

Rhea landed on the other side, and his cast disappeared, as he stood up, and smirked at Dusk.
"That was child's play." Rhea stated as he smiled.

(Dusk): "Yes, it was. That challenge was designed for children seven and under."

Gabriel turned back to Quincy and raised his sword.

OOC: Just a note: The Angels are not evil.

OOC: No, they just want to kill people. =P

Rhea ignored that comment, instead yawning.
"Next." Rhea said, hoping the next challenge would be actually, you know, a challenge.

Quincy, however, was now holding a bow, though obviously with no ammunition, having taken the opportunity that Gabriel had given to draw her bow quickly.
"Why are you doing this?" Quincy asked, not really having any sort of plan... At all.

Twenty robots attacked Rhea.

(Gabriel): "Cast in the name of God, Ye not Guilty."


(Zeil): Is that the only thing he can say? I've gotta get out of here somehow...


OOC: Any idea at all what anime Gabriel and the other Angels are referencing? :P

OOC: I have no clue, and haven't since you first mentioned it. =P

"Is that the only thing you can say?" Quincy asked, skeptically, as she simply looked at Gabriel, but didn't lower her guard for the moment.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea looked around at the robots, and then smirked, as he jumped up, and gripped his badge, however, for some reason, this time it casted a sword, instead of summoning the first part of his Wheel blast. Rhea was kinda surprised, however, simply used it to his advantage, as he landed near one of the robots, slashed out at it, and then whirled around, and sliced through the second robot, as he waited for the twenty more to react.

Gabriel raised his sword.

(Zeil): While he's slicing that human up, I'll make a break for it..

The robots all attacked at once.

-==IC: Quincy==-

"Hey you, it's not safe!" Quincy called out, not realizing who the girl was, or the fact that she actually was running away, as Quincy prepared for the pretty-much imminent attack.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea smirked, and dodged to the side, and sliced through two of the attacking robots, before spinning around, catching some of the other robots, and then stabbing into another robot that had formerly been behind him. Rhea then backflipped away, and awaited the next move from the robots.

Seeing Zeil trying to make a break for it, Gabriel hurled his sword at her. She was not harmed, but she was pinned to the ground. Gabriel then turned back to Quincy.

The robots activated concealed laser blasters and began firing.

(Genisus): "I must be going. Keep me posted on the boy's progress...and keep looking for the other Golds."
So saying, Lord Genisus left.

(Maria): "What happened to him, anyway? Why doesn't he ever show his face?"
(Lily): "And why is his voice so distorted?"

(Dusk): "During the war...he was a soldier on the front lines. The first nuke of the war was dropped less than a mile from where he was fighting. He was nearly killed, and now, he is more machine than man."

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea smirked, and then jumped to the right, as he dashed out of the way of one of the blasts, and then sliced through another robot, and then gripped his badge with two hands, as the cast quickly shifted to the Wheel Blast form, and Rhea then unleashed the attack on any robots who just so happened to be in the way, his cast reverting back to his sword as he launched the blast.

(Dusk): "Enough."

Gabriel reached out to grab Quincy.

Rhea did stop... As the broken remains of the robots he had sliced through crashed to the ground quickly.
"I hardly even broke a sweat." Rhea said with a smirk.

Quincy, however, jumped to the side quickly, as she looked around for anything to use against her opponent, not sure why he was attacking.

(Dusk): "I saw. But I have a mission for you."

Gabriel grabbed for Quincy again, moving incredibly fast.


(Zeil): I've gotta get out of here somehow....

"A mission?" Rhea asked, with a slight frown. Training could definitely wait, then.

-==IC: Quincy==-

Quincy, however, twisted out of the way once more, again dodging the grab.

(Dusk): "We've gotten reports of an Angel in the former city of Manhattan, near the ruins of the Empire State Building."

Gabriel successfully grabbed her as she turned around.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea frowned, but nodded.
"You want me to investigate."

-==IC: Quincy==-

Quincy smiled slightly, however, as Gabriel had decided to grab her bow-wielding arm. Which meant that she could still fire arrows, even if there didn't seem to be any. And acting on instincts, that's exactly what she did, as a beam of energy generated between the handle of the bow and the string, and as Quincy released it, a large and not-really controlled burst of energy was fired out at Gabriel quickly.

(Dusk): "Correct."

The blast struck Gabriel, but he barely seemed to notice it. His grip did not loosen. "Cast in the name of God...Ye guilty."

Meanwhile, Zeil had managed to free herself from the sword. Once he's fully distracted, I'm running!

Quincy, however, fired off two more blasts quickly, after she realized she had fired what was technically an arrow from her bow, without having an arrow.

"Alright, what about transportation?" Rhea asked, with a slight frown.

(Dusk): "You have legs, don't you? Use them."

Gabriel was not affected.

A bead of sweat ran down the back of Rhea's face, as he sighed.
"How far away is it, first of all?"

-==IC: Quincy==-

Quincy then attempted to aim the blast at Gabriel's face.

(Dusk): "Two miles?"

Gabriel dodged and hurled Quincy to the ground.

Zeil took the opportunity to attempt to run.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea sighed, then ran out of the room, as he slipped his badge back into his pocket for the moment.
No use losing it on the way. Rhea thought, as he quickly ran out of the building.

Quincy was tossed to the ground with a wince, and kinda hoped that the person had let go in the process.

(Maria): "We're coming too."

(Lily): "Right."

Sadly, Gabriel had NOT let go.

Rhea simply nodded in response, as he continued to run toward his destination.

-==IC: Quincy==-

Quincy sighed, but fired off another 'arrow' at the person.

The arrow hit harmlessly.

Zeil took the opportunity to run, but tripped.

Quincy, however, kept shooting at different locations, trying to find a weak spot.

(Zeil): Ow...well, she is a persistent human. Shame it's impossible to defeat an Angel in combat.

OOC: How far away are they? Since I assume that they're headed to where Quincy is. =P

OOC: If they're running really fast...give them three more posts.

OOC: OOCs included? =P

OOC: No. :P

Rhea frowned, as he continued to run toward the destination, wondering if they'd get there soon.

(Maria): "I think you'll like being a Caster. We get three meals every day!"

OOC: Remember, that's a lot by their standards. The nuclear war, followed by the nuclear winter, killed all crops and most animals, plus destroying most factories and such. Also, after the next post, you can arrive. :P

"I see." Rhea stated, as he noted they were approaching the destination, and grabbed his badge once more, as he ran toward where the place they were supposed to be was.

(Zeil): Casters?!  Great. If the Angel doesn't kill me, they'll beat me up.

Gabriel held out his hand, and his sword returned to him. He raised it to strike.

-==IC: Rhea==-

However, Rhea slashed upwards at the sword.
"So, we meet again, huh? You just don't give up, do you?" Rhea asked Gabriel, with narrowed eyes.

"Cast in the Name of God, Ye Guilty."

Gabriel slashed out at him.

Rhea blocked the slash, but he could tell that the cast had only barely stopped the blow, however, Rhea then attempted to counter the attack, as he slashed out at the angel.

Gabriel dodged with ease.

Zeil once more attempted to run, but Lily Cast a blue square under Zeil's feet. Zeil fell again.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea, however, started to prepare his wheel blast, and then sent it out toward Gabriel quickly, as Quincy simply looked at what happened, shocked.
"Come on, bring it." Rhea said, as he focused on the fight at hand.

OOC: Follow up of the casting questions; what about casting to get a longer jump, or to jump in mid-air?

OOC: I doubt you could Cast a trampoline, but you could Cast a midair platform to land on and jump off of.

IC: Gabriel held out his hand and caught the wheel blast, absorbing it into his palm. "Cast in the name of God, Ye all guilty."
He pointed his sword at Rhea and attacked. Maria and Lily Cast a large cage around Zeil, then moved to help Rhea.

OOC: Well, I was thinking more making a section of the ground a trampoline, but either way, I guess that's the same thing. =P

And alright, that definitely works.

Rhea jumped to the side to avoid the blow, and then attempted to quickly counter the attack by slashing at Gabriel's sword-arm.

Gabriel blocked and swung again.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea, however, twisted to the side to avoid the slash, and attempted to stab Gabriel quickly.

Gabriel's armour protected him.

-==IC: Rhea==-

"Figures." Rhea muttered, and jumped back, so he could think of a different plan.

Gabriel pressed the attack.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea blocked the slash, but could tell it likely wouldn't block another slash unless he gave it a little time, and instead, attempted to stab up at Gabriel's neck.

Gabriel blocked and stabbed again.

OOC: He's the leader of the Angels. You can't beat him. He's not even trying.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea stepped to the side once more, and attempted to slam his elbow into Gabriel's face.

OOC: Maybe. =P

Which had the same effect as if he had slammed his elbow into a diamond wall.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea's eyebrow twitched, as he jumped back, and then shook his arm to try and stop it from throbbing in pain.
"Okay, so obviously that tactic won't work..."

Gabriel raised the sword again.

(Zeil): "If you let me go, I'll tell you his weakness! It won't kill him, but it will slow him down until I (er, you) can escape."

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea focused, and attempted to see any moment where his opponent seem to hesitate or so, as he also prepared to dodge the attack when needed.

(Zeil): "Hello?"

Gabriel unleashed a flurry of strikes.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea had to jump back multiple times, as well as block with his casted sword in order to avoid major injury, and growled.
"What is it? There are others you can chat with." Rhea stated, as he attempted to use the Wheel blast again.

Rhea's Casted sword shattered.

(Zeil): "You're closest!"

*Maria barely blocks one of Gabriel's attacks*

Rhea growled, and put his badge back into his pocket for the moment.
I knew that would happen... Rhea thought, and turned to Zeil.
"Fine; you tell us what to do first." Rhea said, as he motioned to Lily to try and undo the cast.

*Lily releases Zeil*

(Zeil): "Do what I do. RUN!"


*Zeil bolts*

(Maria): "....Coward."

A bead of sweat ran down Rhea's face.
"Well, you know what they say... When the going gets tough..." Rhea stated, and then grabbed Quincy and Maria's arms, hoping that Lily followed, as he took off the opposite direction than Gabriel.
"The tough get going! Come on guys, let's go!"

Gabriel watched them go, but did not follow. An instant later, he flew into the sky, surrounded by blue flames.

Sai emerged from his hiding place. "Interesting...Gabriel himself, wasting time on low level Caster potentials? What are those Angels up to?"

Rhea frowned, as he watched Gabriel leave out of the corner of his eye.
What is up with that guy...?

OOC: You did say that eventually 'uncontrolled' blasts while a casted weapon was in use would be possible, correct? Just want to check again. =)

OOC: Yes.

IC: (Maria): "What is with those Angels?!"

BOOC: Apparently, my @ and " keys have been switched...

"Don't ask me... This girl special as well?" Rhea asked, as Quincy glared at him for calling him just 'this girl'.
"'This girl' has a name, you know." Quincy stated, and Rhea rolled his eyes, but didn't respond for the moment.

(Lily): "Well...As far as we know, no Gold is supposed to appear in this area. So..."

OOC: Seems my keyboard randomly switched from US to UK. :P

"So nothing special." Rhea stated again, but then frowned.
"Your crystal ball couldn't be wrong, correct?" Rhea asked, even as he continued to run, Quincy totally lost conversation wise by now.

(Lily): "No. It can't be."
(Maria): "Plus, the Prophecy has been right so far."

"Prophecy? What prophecy?" Rhea asked, even as they continued to run, Quincy not even bothering to try and figure out what the heck was going on at this point.

OOC: So much for Rhea being a mentor. =P

(Lily): "A Prophecy detailing the origins of the Casters, and what will happen if we don't stop the Devils, and-"

(Maria): "Truck!"

Rhea frowned, as he jumped up, and then willed himself to jump again, and strangely enough, did so, which got the three he had grabbed earlier just enough room to clear the truck.
"You were saying?"

(Lily): "DON'T DO THAT!"

(Maria): "Let's just get back to the Academy. Headmaster Dusk will explain."

(Lily): "Man dressed as a sandwich!"

"I couldn't stop, we would've hit it." Rhea said, and shrugged, as he continued, wondering what Lily had meant, and noticed someone dressed as a sandwich, and ran around the man, quickly.
"Besides, if we stop, there's the chance that that thing will catch up."

(Maria): "Doubtful. We've fought Gabriel before, and he always lets us escape."

Rhea frowned at that.
"But... if he hates our guts... Then why does he let us escape?"

(Lily): "I doubt he's even capable of feeling hate."

(Maria): "And we have no idea what his goal is anyway..."

Rhea frowned, at that.
"But... If he can't hate... Then why does he fight us?" Rhea asked, not sure about what his goal was...

(Lily): "If only we knew."

Rhea frowned.
"Well, hopefully we can find some of these answers soon..." Rhea said, as they continued toward the academy.

Lord Genesus was exiting the academy as they approached.

Rhea slowed down his pace slightly as they began to approach, however, was still running fast, so that they could actually get there shortly.

"An Angel attacked this girl." Rhea stated, ignoring the look that Quincy gave him.
"And interestingly enough, that Angel was the same one who tried to attack me."

"That would be him." Rhea said, as he believed that was the guy, if Lord Genesis said so.

-==IC: Rhea==-

"But the question therefore, is what are they up to...? They let us get away, even though that theoretically wouldn't be something that would be good for them..."

Rhea frowned, at that.
"So then why do they attack...? And what's the story, anyway?"

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea explained how they had been talking about the legends and such on the way back.
"That's what I mean by the story; what's the story on what's going on?"

Rhea nodded slowly.
"So... I wonder why the angels suddenly changed their minds and decided to go all 'kill all casters' then...?" Rhea asked, and then paused, as a sudden realization came to his mind, after the fact that they continually leave them alive at the end, but always fight with enough strength to at least counter the attacks the casters send out...
"Could the angels simply be testing us?"

(Maria): "Sounds possible."
(Lily): "But what's with that 'Ye not Guilty' stuff?"

Rhea scratched his head at that mention.
"I have no idea, to be honest. Anyone else know what it might mean?"

OOC: I give up, I honestly have no clue what you're referring to. D=

IC: (Maria): "Maybe that we don't meet their standards? Or something?"
(Lily): "How do we know they're really Angels, anyway? They have horns, and they don't have halos or harps."

(Maria): "You have Caster potential."

(Lily): "We're going to train you to fight the Devils."

"I think I'll choose the training option, then." Quincy said with a nod.
"What can you do with this 'casting' anyway, though?"

*Lily demonstrates by Casting a giant soundproof cage around Quincy*

"Haha, very funny." Quincy said, and Rhea raised an eyebrow, smirked, and mouthed something that seemed suspiciously like 'This works even better than I thought', and narrowed her eyes.
"Yeah, nice job, now let me out." Quincy said, but obviously no-one heard her.

(Lily): "You want me to make the cage smaller? If you're sure..."

OOC: The girls are nice, but they do have a cruel sense of humour. :P

Quincy violently shook her head, while motioning for the cage to be increased in size, as she realized sound wouldn't work.

(Lily): "Oh, you want me to get rid of the cage!"
*The cage vanishes*
(Maria): "Why didn't you just say so?"

"I was trying to..." Quincy said with a sigh.
"You happened to make a cage that prevented me from doing so, however." Quincy said with a chuckle.

(Dusk): "You'll be able to do that to them, soon enough."

(Lily): "Hey, where'd Genisus go?"

Rhea blinked, and looked around with a frown.
"I dunno. Weird..."

(Maria): "He creeps me out..."

"So, what now?" Rhea asked, with a slight yawn.

(Dusk): "Now we figure out why the Angels wanted this girl. She's clearly not strong enough to be of any interest to them."

"What was that?" Quincy asked, as she gave Dusk a warning look.

"You're not powerful enough to be worth the Angel's time."

"And exactly how would you know that?" Quincy asked Dusk with an annoyed look on her face.

"Because you're not a Gold."

"One, how would you know that? And two, you aren't one either, are you?" Quincy asked, as she took notice of how Rhea was looking at Dusk with a raised eyebrow.

(Dusk): "No, I am not a Gold. But I am vastly stronger than you."

"And what makes you so sure of that?" Quincy asked, a skeptical look on her face.

Dusk removed a shard of crystal from his pocket. It glowed dark red when he touched it, but turned paler when it moved closer to Quincy.

"So you have a colour changing crystal? What does that have to do with anything?" Quincy asked, still not seeing how he was more powerful.

"This crystal is known as triylerium. It reacts to the presence of a potential Caster by changing colour based on their potential power."

"Maybe it's glitched." Quincy suggested, as she thought.
"Any good ways to actually see who's better?"

Dusk smirked. An instant later, Quincy was tied up by glowing rope, hovering in midair, with glowing birds flying around her.

Quincy raised an eyebrow, as she looked around.
"Really? Is that the best you can do?" Quincy asked, with a chuckle.
"Gotta give you credit though, that's kinda cool. But I think the soundproof cage was better."

Dusk did not seem to move, but a glowing gag covered Quincy's mouth, preventing speech.

Quincy raised an eyebrow, intrigued.
Still not seeing power, really, just skill.

Dusk released Quincy.

"Nice job, you do have a lot of skill, but what about power?" Quincy asked, with her eyebrow raised.

Dusk Cast a tiny cube and gently tapped Quincy with it. It exploded and sent her flying a full mile into the air. Dusk Cast a bouncy platform for her to land on.

Quincy raised an eyebrow, and landed on the platform, with a slight wince.
"Interesting." Quincy stated, as she got up, and then started to walk back toward Dusk, and drew her bow off her back, and then gripped the string, as she started to run toward Dusk, taking aim at the headmaster, as she drew back the bowstring, and some casting energy generated itself between the string and bow, which was then released toward Dusk, as she let go of the bow string.

Dusk raised his hand and caught the energy.

Quincy raised an eyebrow again, and fired off three more blasts at Dusk quickly.

Dusk caught all those blasts as well.

Quincy sighed, and then fired ten blasts at Dusk.
There's no way he can catch all those.

However, Dusk did.

"As entertaining as this is, we should get inside. We don't want to attract the attention of an Angel."

Quincy nodded.

IC: Gabrel landed on the roof of the apartment. The Gold within had not noticed him yet.

"Seems like it's definitely an interesting place." Quincy said with a smile, as she looked around.

(Boy): "INCOMING!!!"
A glowing sword passed over Quincy's head.
(Boy): "Sorry! I haven't figured out how to undo a Cast yet!"

(Dusk): "...Detention."

Quincy raised an eyebrow, as she noticed that some of her hair had been cut by the near-miss.
"Err, does that happen often?"

(Lily, Maria, and Dusk): "Yes."

Gabriel kicked open the window and entered. Amazingly, the Gold was still asleep.

"I see." Quincy said with a nod, though frowned, as she had a funny feeling something was going wrong right now, but shook her head to shrug the feeling off.

Gabriel grabbed the Gold. They had time to scream once before Gabriel covered their mouth and dragged them away...

OOC: Hmm. Not quite sure how to respond. =P

OOC: Whoops. :P
IC: Maria yawned. "It's getting kinda late. I say we go to bed."

Quincy and Rhea both nodded, and Quincy paused.
"Where are the rooms?" Quincy asked, curious.

(Lily): "We'll show you."

Quincy nodded, as she followed Lily, not sure where to go.

Lily and Maria led the way to a hallway.
(Maria): "Lily and I share room 207, right here. A little down the hall is room 212, where Rhea will be. Zay (you haven't met him yet) is in room 214, and Quincy, you'll be in room 719, which comes right after 220. Not sure why."

"I see." Quincy said with a nod, as she walked down the hall to where her room was supposed to be.

OOC: Timeskip?

OOC: But of course, unless you have other ideas. =P

~~The Next Morning~~
(Maria): "EVERYONE UP! BREAKFAST IS SERVED!"

Quincy yawned, and got out of her bed, as she walked out of her room, and then rubbed her eyes, as she was still somewhat sleepy.

(Lily): "I had a nightmare that this giant grin was eating me."
(Maria): "You might not want to go around telling people you dreamt the Cheshire Cat ate you."
(Lily): "It wasn't the Cheshire Cat!"
(Dusk): "...Why did the chef make spicy banana noodles for breakfast?"

"What's the chef's name?" Quincy asked, kinda curious.

(Dusk): "Bob."

"I see." Quincy said, partially not having any idea of why the chef would do things like that, but merely had an idea.

(Maria): "Better than yesterday's Pickled Octopus."

"I... I see..." Quincy said, as she frowned.
"Is it typically this weird?"

(Dusk): "Only since the Devils got his girlfriend."

Quincy gave Dusk a quizzical look, as she had no clue what he meant.

(Maria): "The Devils ate Bob's girlfriend."
(Lily): "We don't know for sure that they ate her, Maria. They might have just torn her to bits."

Quincy frowned at that.
"That's certainly not good." Quincy said, and thought for a moment.
"She was a caster too, right?"

(Dusk): "No, just a human."

-==IC: Quincy==-

"Ah, that would probably have been partly why." Quincy said with a shrug, but did frown.
"There's no chance she's still alive, then?"

(Dusk): "Considering that we found most of her internal organs...no."

(Maria): "There goes what was left of my appetite."

"Mine too." Quincy agreed, as she nodded.

(Lily): "Same."
"Good. That means you're available for a very important mission."

-==IC: Rhea==-

"A mission?" Rhea asked, with a frown, as he started to pay more attention to the conversation.

"According to the Prophecy, the next Gold should have appeared yesterday. But the apartment where we believe he lived is empty, and there are signs of a struggle.  We suspect the Angels got to him."

(Lily): "Who's We?"

"That's none of your concern."

"So, the next mission is to locate this Caster, and retrieve him?" Rhea asked, to guess the nature of the mission.

"If possible. But we have no idea where the Angels are based, and you are no match for any of them."

OOC: Currently fighting The Imprisoned for the second time. I might be a bit slow to reply as a result.

OOC: Groose.

"Is there any way to increase our power potential?" Rhea asked, with a slight frown.

OOC: The Groosinator is epic. :P

IC: "No Caster could ever be as powerful as an Angel. It would take the power of all seven Golds to equal the power of the Angels."

"Well, it looks like one or two of us might have to get even more powerful." Rhea commented, as he stretched slightly.
"That, or find this person quickly."

Rhea nodded, and walked out of the room, a slight smile on his face.

(Lily): "What are you smiling about?"

-==IC: Rhea==-

"Nothing, really." Rhea said with a shrug, though the truth is that it was amusing that he essentially got permission to find this Gold no matter what simply by mentioning about having to get stronger otherwise.

OOC: =P

(Maria): "OK...if we just head this way, we should arrive at the apartm-"
*Maria walks into a pole*
(Maria): "Ow."

"Apparently not directly that way." Rhea said with a slight chuckle. However, he was tensed for some reason, as he had the feeling something... wasn't right.

Sai ducked behind cover before the Casters could notice him. He turned to Zeil. "Good work, following them to their base."

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea frowned, he had looked around, but hadn't seen anything.
"Let's keep on going..." Rhea said, and turned back to the way they were going, and saw black-red energy dissipating, and frowned, as he gripped his badge, not liking the implications of what might be happening.

OOC: Also, I have an idea, so don't mind me if things seem off. =P

(Lily): "Come on! Let's go!"

Rhea started to walk forward, but stopped again, as a wave of the black-red energy nearly hit him, and sliced into the pavement.
"Heh, heh, heh." A laugh cut through the air, as Rhea frowned, and then looked around, cautious, as he gripped his casted sword, not sure of where the source of the laugh was. Rhea saw a barrier in the distance, which was kinda odd, as the reason he could see it, was because of fluctuating waves of energy being tossed off it. Rhea slowly walked forward, and saw a being, who stopped, and turned around.
"Huh... Other Casters, huh?" The being asked, as Rhea walked forward, and scowled.
"They just had to interfere... Otherwise, we might've been able to recruit another." The person stated, as Rhea could see now that the person appeared to have some sort of obsession with the colour red.
"You're just in time. I was started to get... upset at this situation. However; you could work to my advantage... Get rid of this barrier. If I can make a wild guess; you're probably looking for the same thing I am." The person said, and Rhea narrowed his eyes at the person, suspicious.
"Who are you?" Rhea asked, and the person chuckled, and grinned maliciously.
"My name is Mira... I am a Caster myself... But I for one do not follow them." This person, apparently named 'Mira' said.

(Maria): "What do you want?"

-==IC: Mira==-

Mira sighed, as he held his head in his hand.
"Do you seriously wish me to repeat myself? I want this barrier gone; but I haven't been able to destroy it myself. Since we likely share a common goal, we both want the same thing, it's in your interest to help me anyway." Mira stated, as he casted his sword again, and slashed against the barrier once more, but all that resulted in, was the black-red energy colliding against the light the barrier gave off, and no damage to the barrier, which caused Mira to sigh again.

OOC: What is the barrier?

OOC: Probably just some random barrier; however, I've got an idea for why he wouldn't be able to get through, but I would. ;) Maybe it's got more light casting energy than dark casting energy? As for what it looks like, it probably looking just like a shimmering version of what's beyond the barrier, maybe with a slight glow.

OOC: I mean, where is it, what's it for, etc.

OOC: Where it is: Right in front of us, where Mira's slashing away.
What it's for: To keep... 'certain people' away from where the potential Gold might be.

OOC: We're there already? I though we just left the academy, and it's a long walk. ^^;

OOC: Well, I figure the barrier covers maybe half the way; and that we kinda time-skipped the rest that the barrier doesn't cover. ^_^;

OOC: ...Sure, why not. :P

IC: (Maria): "Why should we help you?"

Mira sighed, as he shook his head.
"You certainly are dense, aren't you? I've said it like three times now. We share a common goal... We both wish to get past this barrier." Mira stated, and then smiled, as he briefly licked his lips to prevent them from getting dry.

(Lily): "I think what she means is, why shouldn't we take you AND the barrier out?"

-==IC: Mira==-

"Do you really think you can take me on?" Mira asked, and smirked, as he licked his lips again.
"Alright then, try." Mira said, as he dissolved his casted sword, overly confident for the moment.

OOC: </waiting>

Two giant glowing hammers smashed into him as a glowing anvil dropped from the sky above him.

OOC: Wait; wrong RPG, whoops.

-==IC: Mira==-

Mira, however, smirked, as he stopped the two, and reversed the hammers so that he could grab them. Mira then tossed one in an attempt to smash the Anvil to pieces, and then threw the other right back toward the others, a smirk on his face.
"Novices. You blatantly allow me to read your attacks, which means that I can stop you any time."

While Mira was talking, super strong glowing ropes snaked their way around his legs.

Mira simply snapped his fingers, and an equal number of glowing 'crystals' sliced through the ropes, as he simply smiled.
"What; are you all novices? Are none of you willing to actually fight me?" Mira asked, and turned his head for a moment, as Rhea attempted to attack the mysterious caster with a slash from his sword while Rhea jumped toward Mira. Mira, however, simply caught the sword in his hand, much to the surprise of both Quincy and Rhea.
"All novices... The whole lot of you."

*Right above the group*
"Cast in the name of God, Ye all guilty."

Mira scowled.
"Of course that servant of the gods had to show up. The reason I have to waste my precious time here." Mira said, as he casted more of those crystals, and sent them flying at Gabriel, as it was obvious who the voice belonged to.

Gabriel was not affected. He landed behind Mira.

OOC: Ghirahim? :P

OOC: You're only just noticing? xD I've been making him as Ghirahim like as I could straight from character creation. =P(Hence why when we first see him, he's pounding the heck out of a barrier. =P) And, it actually does fit, since, well, Gabriel literally is a servant of the gods. =P

Mira whirled around, as his cloak swirled in the wind. Mira gripped his sword, and licked his lips, as he rushed toward the Angel with a roar.

OOC: Have certain characters prepare to step in just in case things get bad; I don't think Gabriel should necessarily hold back against this guy.

OOC: God singular in this case. :P
And if you're sure...just remember, the Angels have the power to kill player characters if the PC does something reckless....
IC: Gabriel smashed Mira with the flat of his sword, sending Mira flying thirty feet into a wall.

OOC: Well yeah, but it doesn't make as much sense. =P
Even if that particular PC player doesn't give permission for that? =P

Mira growled, and snapped his fingers, as more crystals attempted to attack Gabriel. He wouldn't move until Gabriel actually attempted to attack him again, but this time he would block the attack.

OOC:
2: If the PC does something really reckless or stupid, yes. But as you've seen before, Gabriel usually uses restraint, and always lets PCs flee.

IC: The crystals shattered as they neared Gabriel.

OOC: Yeah, well, Mira's more or less totally reckless, like Ghirahim. =P

Mira narrowed his eyes, however, sent a circular row of crystals toward Gabriel.

OOC: One difference: Ghirahim was a living sword, like Fi. Mira's human. :P

IC: The crystals shattered again. Gabriel slowly walked towards Mira, drawing his blade as he did so.

OOC: Well, he's not fully like Ghirahim that way, I'll admit. =P

Mira smirked, and licked his lips once more, as he snapped his fingers, and a second sword appeared, a malicious smile on his face.

Gabriel held out his hand, and Mira's sword shattered.

(Lily): "Is that guy stupid? Why isn't he running?"

(Maria): "For that matter, why aren't we running?"

Mira smirked, and simply slashed out with the second sword he had, as he casted another.

OOC: Have I ever made any mention of the fact that you appear to love invincible characters who can act as Antagonists to some? =P

OOC: There's a reason the Angels are so powerful. It wouldn't be any fun if you could beat the (maybe) final boss at the beginning of the game, would it? :P
As for what happened in Centurion...I have no excuse. :P

IC: Gabriel blocked.
(Lily): "That guy must have a death wish!"


OOC: Remember what the final boss of Skyward Sword said to Link when Link challenged them?

OOC: I'm not say curb-stomp them... I'm saying it like a Ghirahim fight. =P

Mira, however, slashed out at Gabriel once more.

OOC: Before. Like, when Link first raised his sword.
IC: Gabriel grabbed the sword and wrenched it out of Mira's hand.

OOC: "How funny. There is actually someone who is foolish enough to challenge me. It's too bad that bravery is misplaced."

Mira narrowed his eyes, and laughed maniacally.
"Heh. Looks like I wasted too much time here. We'll meet again; that goes for all of you. However, don't expect me to go so easy on any of you the next time we meet." Mira stated with a smirk, as he snapped his fingers, and seemed to vanish.

OOC: He didn't teleport. =P He is making his way from the scene very quickly, however.

OOC: No. The part where they're talking about how humans used to flee before them, and that Link is the first one to stand up to them.

IC: Gabriel turned to face Rhea, Maria, Quincy, and Lily. "Cast in the name of God, Ye Guilty."

OOC: Ah, that's the other part I was thinking about. Wouldn't entirely fit Mira still, however...

No-one did anything for a moment, however, Rhea then stepped forward, and simply looked at Gabriel, not moving aside from that and obviously the flickers of energy that was being sent off from his sword.
"What is your purpose in doing all this?" Rhea asked, though he doubted that there would be an answer.

Gabriel stared directly into Rhea's eyes. "Justice."

Rhea nodded, impressed.
"See? That wasn't too hard, was it?" Rhea asked, but then turned serious again.
"Next question, why do you attack us humans?" Rhea asked, wanting to know that.

"Humans? No. Not humans."

Rhea frowned, at that moment.
"But... Then, why do you attack us human Casters, then?" Rhea asked, as that answer didn't fit with everything else that had happened.

OOC: Wording of that phrase is intentionally specific. =P Even though Rhea was simply stating it that specifically to try and get Gabriel to notice what was going on... It serves a second purpose. ;)

"No human Casters."

OOC: It's hard to write for Gabriel - he's not a talker, so I have to express a lot of stuff with a few words.

Rhea stared at Gabriel blankly.
"What do you mean, 'no human casters', look at my badge!" Rhea stated, as he held up his hand, the casting energy flowing around the badge for the moment, in a non-shape; he had temporarily reverted his cast to simply energy, as an attempt to point out to Gabriel that there were indeed humans who could cast, not as an attempt to attack.

"Not Human."

Rhea sighed, as he shook his head.
"I most certainly am human; why wouldn't I be?" Rhea asked, as he was pretty certain he was getting nowhere with Gabriel after that brief possibility of him having common sense, or logic.

"No. Not Human. Not Devil, but not Human."

Rhea sighed at that.
"Okay; so can you explain this? Why are you so against the casters, when the Prophecy says that the Casters will help defeat the demons?" Rhea asked, a frown on his face after the rest of the discussion.

"Prophecy...That is not the Prophecy."

Rhea was nodding, and then paused, and frowned, as he looked up.
"Wait, what do you mean it's not the Prophecy?" Rhea asked, as he looked surprised, confused, and incredulous all at once.

"Not the Prophecy."

OOC: Back in five minutes.

Rhea sighed.
"Yeah, you just said. But how is it not the prophecy? If it's not the prophecy, what is the prophecy?" Rhea asked, with a frown, as he had a bad feeling.

*Gabriel begins speaking in some long-dead language*

"For those who aren't multi-talented, language-wise?" Rhea asked.

OOC: I was so tempted to write the "seven half bloods" prophecy from Percy Jackson as an answer. :P

IC: "When the End of Days shall come, the seven chosen shall stand at the crossroads, guiding the way to the future. And upon them shall fall the duty of guiding Man to the proper way. Three choices shall these chosen have: The Way of the Devils, the Way of the Right, or the Way of Man. And the chosen ones shall fail, sabotaged by those they trust, and the Darkness shall swallow all."

OOC: You should have. You really should have. =P

Rhea raised an eyebrow at how Gabriel said so much in one breath.
"I see... Well then that is certainly different." Rhea said, and thought for a moment.
"Is this why you have been attacking the casters?" Rhea asked, as thing simultaneously started to make sense, and started to make even less sense.

"You have Knowledge. Use it."

*Gabriel rises into the sky, surrounded by flames*

Rhea looked up as Gabriel rose into the sky, and then simply nodded.
Things just got a whole lot more complicated... Rhea thought, as he looked at the barrier, which seemed to have changed. It glowed a little, and then shattered into fragments of energy, which then disappeared.
"Well... Should we go forward, or head back?" Rhea asked, with a frown.

(Maria): "Well, we do have our orders."

(Lily): "But this doesn't explain why Gabriel was after you, Quincy..."

-==IC: Quincy==-

"Yeah..." The girl said with a frown, and thought for a moment.
"It also doesn't explain why those other guys wanted me either." Quincy mused, as she was not sure of that at all.

(Lily): "Other guys?"

-==IC: Quincy==-

Quincy nodded.
"Yeah, like that one you had captured in that cage when you were helping me."

(Lily): "You mean Zeil? She's mean, but harmless as long as you don't give her an opening."

-==IC: Quincy==-

"There were apparently two others, though I only saw one. I apparently killed the other somehow, but I don't see how that's possible." Quincy explained.

(Maria): "Can you describe the one you saw?"

-==IC: Quincy==-

Quincy described the demon that she had seen.

(Maria): "Sai..."

-==IC: Quincy==-

"So, who's that?" Quincy asked, with a blink.

(Maria): "He's high-up in the Devils."

-==IC: Rhea==-

"Devils? Are they like Demons?" Rhea asked, just to be sure.

OOC: I'm calling them Demons, if only because of Ghirahim's title. =P

(Sai): "Same thing, really."

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea narrowed his eyes, as he whirled around, and got into a fighting position, sword held in front of him. Quincy also reflexively drew back her bow, an arrow of casting energy appearing between the string and the bow itself.

Sai bowed.

"What do you want?" Rhea asked, as he pointed his sword toward Sai.

"Nothing much. My boss wants me to check your power, so..."
*Snaps finger*

*Two huge lizard demons appear*

Rhea then simply slashed out at one of the demons, sending out a circular 'wheel' of casting energy, which attempted to slash it in half. Quincy then attempted to fire an arrow through the second demon, though obviously it wasn't as powerful.

OOC: I just noticed, the wheel of energy is identical to Skyward Strikes. =P

Several hawk demons attacked as the lizard ones were destroyed.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea slashed out at one, and then used a Wheel blast on another. Quincy helped by firing a couple arrows from her bow at the demons that Rhea couldn't hit, at that moment.

More hawk demons attacked.
Meanwhile, Zeil, randomly wearing a (very) flattering Santa suit, snuck up behind Quincy, holding a dagger.

OOC: Shiza's not the only one that can randomly change outfits in under a second!

Quincy inhaled quickly, as she whirled around, and attempted to kick the dagger away.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Meanwhile, Rhea slashed through the hawk demons that attacked, though as more and more progressively attacked, he figured he wouldn't make it through this fight... Right as malicious laughter rang out through the air.

-==IC: Mira==-

Mira clapped, as he walked out from behind Sai, an evil look on his face. Mira licked his lips once more, as he grinned.
"Perfect. That barrier is gone, and while I don't know if the target has been moved, it's certainly helpful. Now then. Will you help me with getting this target?" Mira asked, even as more and more Hawk Demons began to surround Rhea...

OOC: Make any sense now? =P

(Sai): "Depends. What is your target?"

Zeil stabbed at Quincy's heart as more and more hawk demons attacked.

OOC: Not sure. :P

Mira sighed.
"You fool, you already know, there's no need for these... humans to be deceived anymore. The barrier's down, after all. Besides, I was talking to them. Some of them may be... Useful." Mira stated, as he turned back to the other casters, a malicious grin on his face.

OOC: Demon Caster Mira (is) Him. =P

Quincy slammed the dagger out of the way multiple times, even as she continued to jump back. She was really annoyed that she was no good at hand-to-hand combat, aside from what she was trying right at that moment...

Rhea growled, even as he sliced the multiple hawks out of the air. He glared at Mira, as his sword flickered slightly.
"You... You think I would help you? Never." Rhea stated, as a flash surrounded Rhea, and then exploded outward, as more and more hawk demons were slashed in half. The light faded, and Rhea stood there, the casting energy effectively surrounding him as 'armour' of sorts while the outfit's colour directly depended on the colour of the casting energy, the outfit itself looked almost like a tunic, though slightly streamlined for the arms and legs. Rhea frowned with narrowed eyes, as he pointed his sword, which now had the beginning of a guard, toward Mira, a scowl on his face.
"So, you're helping them? Why?"

OOC: Okay, might've gone slightly out of order(I think casting colour was next), but I wanted Rhea to have a slight costume change. =P

OOC: I'm hoping you're not implying Mira is the Devil. :P
IC: Zeil stabbed again and again.

OOC: Not replying to Mira until I know what you're implying. :P

OOC: No; I'm implying that Mira is a Demon Caster. =P I'd go for Demon Lord, but Ghirahim already took that title. ::) Though, I'm willing to have Mira be as good a position in the organization as possible. =P

Quincy continued to block, as she attempted to pull the string on the bow back to unleash an attack.

(Sai): "I barely recognised you, ¥çƨř!"

Zeil threw away the dagger and randomly pulled out a whip.

Mira brushed his hair back, and then smirked, as he summoned another sword, and looked at Rhea with an arrogant smile, as he rushed toward the human. Rhea narrowed his eyes, and then gripped his casted sword with one hand, and then rushed forward.
"Pathetic! You might think you have more control over your ability; but the truth is it's just showing even more how much of a novice you are." Mira said, and followed that up with a slash to prove that. Rhea blocked the slash with his left arm, but was still knocked back, and off his feet. He stood up, and noticed a hard-to-miss gap in the casted energy around where he was hit, and a cut in his arm, not too deep, but obvious. Rhea gripped his sword, and Mira chuckled.
"See? While you might have some slight skill to use casting energy like armour; it's useless if you can't figure out how to use it to defend yourself." Mira taunted, as Rhea growled, as rushed at the demon, as he attempted to slash him, however, Mira simply grabbed the tip of the sword, and held it in place with simply two fingers.
"What's wrong? I thought you had more in you. Guess I was wrong." Mira stated, and Rhea narrowed his eyes, and pulled the sword away from Mira's grip, as the demon simply licked his lips with a malicious smile.

Sai smiled. "Well, I guess I'm not needed."
Sai turned and left, but more hawk demons continued to attack.

Zeil swung her whip at Quincy.

Mira moved to attack, and Rhea dodged to the right, as he sliced through multiple hawk demons, and sent one of his energy blasts in Sai's direction.
"Where do you think you're going?" Rhea asked coolly, even as he fended off an attack from Mira.

-==IC: Quincy==-

Quincy jumped to the left, and then fired off an energy arrow at Zeil, slowly getting the hang of how to easily do this casting stuff, and getting more experienced in how to work with casting energy.

Sai chuckled, snapped his fingers, and transformed into a cloud of bats, which flew off.

Zeil blocked the arrow with the whip and swung at Quincy again.

Rhea growled, and sent an energy wheel toward Sai, however, Mira simply deflected the attack, instead sending it flying toward Quincy... However, the aim for that wasn't exactly the greatest, and it instead was sent flying toward Zeil.

Zeil whipped it away and swung at Quincy again.

Quincy, however, allowed the whip to grab her bow, and then fired an energy arrow at Zeil quickly.

Zeil barely dodged. The whip wrapped around Quincy's legs, and Zeil yanked it.

Quincy was knocked to the ground, however, before either could react, a cut appeared on the whip, which then caused the whip to be split in two, as Rhea stood nearby, and looked at Zeil with a frown.
"Just what are you trying to do?" Rhea asked, his eyes narrowed. He remembered how she had deceived them earlier.

(Zeil): "Trying to whip this girl to death?"

-==IC: Rhea==-

"Stop that." Rhea said, as he pointed his sword toward Zeil, even as Mira chuckled. However, Mira stopped his chuckling, when Quincy fired three arrows toward him.
"Pesky girl..."

Zeil turned to Rhea and cracked the whip. "You asked for it."

-==IC: Rhea==-

"Because half a whip is so intimidating." Rhea stated, as he rushed toward Zeil, the casting energy from the makeshift armour serving a second purpose as looking like a cloak that trailed behind him in the wind.

Zeil backflipped away, pulling out a second whip. Her outfit had somehow changed to a black dress with spikes around the neck.

OOC: The hawk demons are still attacking.

OOC: I assumed that the other two were attacking them as well. =P

Rhea, however, was unamused, as he sent out a wheel of energy from his sword, and then proceeded to slice through two more hawk demons.

Zeil leaped over the wheel and swung the whip again.

Rhea, however, dodged to the left, and sent another wheel blast at Zeil quickly.

OOC: Again, think Skyward Strikes. =P

Zeil appeared behind Rhea. She could have whipped him right then, but instead held the whip over her head for several seconds before striking.

OOC: Think when Ghirahim teleports during the first battle. :P

Rhea, however, slashed out toward Zeil while she had left an opening, as Mira narrowed his eyes at Zeil, and muttered something about stealing the moves that couldn't be used against opponents.

Zeil shrieked, but didn't drop the whip. She wrapped it around Rhea's neck and yanked.

Rhea growled, however, he then slashed upwards, as he attempt to slash the whip in half once more.

OOC: What happened to 'if you threaten her, she'll take off'? =P

OOC: She still has enough of an advantage. If she were in a cage with a gun pointed at her or something similar, she'd be begging for her life and revealing all the secrets of the Devils.
IC: Zeil jumped backwards. ****** Sai! Why do you always run off?

Rhea, however, didn't skip a beat, as he simply dashed toward Zeil with a serious look on his face, this time aiming to outpace Zeil.

Zeil pulled out a shotgun and fired it.

OOC: a very primitive shotgun.

Rhea, however, jumped over Zeil as she was grabbing for the shotgun, and landed behind the demon, as he put his sword to her neck.
"I don't think you want to fight anymore." Rhea suggested, with a scowl on his face.

*Zeil drops the gun and raises her hands above her head*

"Don't kill me."

"You're our prisoner now, then." Rhea stated, as he nodded to one of the other casters, to try and find some way to immobilize Zeil, without giving any way of escape this time.

OOC: =) Now we have a prisoner. =P

*Maria creates ropes to tie Zeil up*

Rhea then looked over to where Mira was fighting Quincy, and then ran toward the demon caster quickly, as he held his sword to the side, and then jumped up, as he attempted to slash the demon in half. However, Mira simply jumped back, and narrowed his eyes.
"Well, well. You've done much better than I thought you would... Hmph; fine, I'll let you live... this time. If only because the odds are very much against me." Mira said, with a smirk, as he did the same thing that he did to get away from Gabriel.

(Zeil): "What about me?!"
(Sai): "Don't worry, my dear. I won't abandon you yet..."
A cloud of bats swarmed the Casters.

Rhea narrowed his eyes, and slashed out with his sword and a wheel blast at the different bats, even as Quincy fired casted arrows at the bats as well.
"Maria, don't let the demon escape." Rhea stated with a frown, as he wondered if some sort of cage could be made.

One of the bats got past both Rhea and Maria, smashing itself into the ropes around Zeil. Nothing seemed to happen...

Rhea growled, and slashed out at the bat, and grabbed onto Zeil's shoulder for good measure. If this one got away again, it wouldn't be because he didn't try this time.

Unfortunately, Rhea had grabbed Zeil's dress, and since she was wearing another dress underneath it, she slipped out of it as soon as enough bats had hit the ropes to shatter them.

OOC: You can still catch her...

Rhea growled, and then dashed forward, as he attempted to grab Zeil's arm this time.
"Maria, could you do something to stop her again?" Rhea asked, as he continued to try and catch Zeil.

Zeil avoided Rhea, but then ran right into Maria. They both fell.

Rhea stopped suddenly, and a bead of sweat ran down the back of his head.
"Uh, err, good job..." Rhea stated, as Quincy sighed, and shook her head, and then grabbed Zeil's hands, so as to make sure she didn't get away this time.

Sai reformed behind Lily, stabbed her through the heart, and vanished. Lily collapsed.

Rhea growled, and sent out a wheel of energy at where Sai had been, and growled once more, as he ran over to where Lily was.
"Lily? Answer me! Lily?!"

OOC: </typical person response>

*Lily twitches*
(Maria): "She'll live, but we need to get her to a doctor."

OOC: The hawk demons have stopped attacking.

"There are some at the Academy; right?!" Rhea asked with a growl, as he looked around to make sure nothing else happened.

OOC: Interesting, this. =P

(Maria): "Yes, of course."

-==IC: Rhea==-

"Let's go." Rhea stated, not wanting to just stop their mission; but circumstances were certainly not what was expected.

OOC: Again, this situation happening now's coincidental timing is certainly not lost on me. xD

IC: (Maria): "Let's get her to the academy."

Rhea wondered why she had restated what he just said, but deactivated his cast, picked up Lily carefully, and then started to run toward the Academy. Quincy, meanwhile, had gripped Zeil's arms, so that she couldn't run away.
"Maria, could you tie her up again?" Quincy asked, as it would be easier to have Zeil be a prisoner, if she didn't have the potential to run away, or attack.

Maria tied Zeil up again.

"Alright, let's go."

Quincy nodded, but looked at how Rhea had already put distance between them by running ahead.
"Yeah, I don't think Rhea needed to hear that." Quincy said with a chuckle, as they started toward the academy again.

"What happened?!" Dusk looked quite worried that one of his Golds had been injured.
Maria sighed. "Sai ambushed us."

"We fought them, and caught one of the demons, however." Quincy added, as she motioned to Zeil.
"I also had my powers advance during a fight with another demon, who was apparently named 'Mira' too..." Rhea stated, but then paused.
"There's just one thing about that. He seems to be both a demon... And a caster."

(Dusk): "Hello again, Zeil. Wait, what? A demon with Casting powers? How is that even possible?"

-==IC: Rhea==-

"I don't know." Rhea said with a frown.
"However, it seems to be possible. He has long red hair with purple eyes, and is very arrogant. He typically wields a sword, and even took on Gabriel without even blinking an eye." Rhea said, and then remembered what he had been told.
"Oh, yeah, and the prophecy we have is not exactly correct."

(Dusk): *slightly threatening tone* "Not correct? Whatever do you mean?"

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea explained what Gabriel had said, and then recited the prophecy as it was supposedly supposed to be.

*Still in slightly threatening tone* "And you're...sure...this is the correct prophecy?

-==IC: Rhea==-

"It would explain a few things, especially now that we know about this new demon caster." Rhea said, with a frown.

(Dusk): "But still, that prophecy has guided the Casters for millennia. And now you're saying it's wrong? How do you know that Gabriel wasn't trying to trick you?"

-==IC: Rhea==-

"It's certainly possible; however, before that, he said that he was acting for justice... And then he happened to mention that there are no human Casters." Rhea said, and frowned.
"I'm starting to wonder if Casters are only half human or so... That would explain how there is a Demon Caster. But; that opens up another big question..." Rhea explained his theory, and then frowned.
"What would be the other half?"

"The Prophecy we have does mention that the Golds are "like Gods"..."

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea blinked, and then groaned, as he slapped his palm to his face.
"Of course. Well, that makes sense for that, then." Rhea said, and then thought for a moment.
"Maybe parts of both are correct, then. Or, maybe the prophecy has been altered by destiny somehow..."

"The odd thing is...supposedly, Gabriel is the one who told us the Prophecy in the first place..."

"Hmm..." Rhea said, and Zay just so happened to walk by, and hear that part.
"Ah, oral tradition... The most unreliable method of recalling information." Zay stated, and nodded as he walked away, as Rhea blinked at the randomness.

OOC: Fi has a point with that quote. =P

(Maria): "He has a point."
(Dusk): "What did the doctor say?"
(Maria): "She'll be fine. She just needs a few days to recover."

"So... What do we do now?" Rhea asked, with a slight frown.

OOC: For kicks, it'd be fun if Rhea and Dusk had a training fight. =P

OOC: OK, but how would I fit that into the story? Tell me how, and I'll do it. After you post in S.H.I.R.A. :P

OOC: I dunno, and I still have nothing to respond to, since Lloyd's currently tied up. =P

But wait, as for tying it in, maybe Dusk wishes to test my skills, since I'm almost positive Rhea mentioned that his powers evolved again?

Rhea smiled at that.
"Why don't we find out; how about we try my new skills against yours?" Rhea asked, however, gripped his badge, as the casting energy enveloped both the badge and himself, forming the outfit he had wielded earlier.

OOC: Say, could you form a shield with casting energy? =P

OOC: Sure. Basic power.
IC: Dusk smiled cruelly and adjusted his glasses. "Let's go."

"Here, or head to the training room?" Rhea asked, but gripped his sword anyway.

In answer, Dusk unleashed a beam of energy at Rhea.

Rhea smiled, and jumped to the side, as he then gripped his sword, and launched a wheel-shaped blast of energy at Dusk in response.

Dusk jumped over the wheel and summoned millions of tiny lasers to fly at Rhea from every direction.

Rhea did the obvious thing... He jumped toward Dusk. he did whirl around and unleash a 'wave' of energy around him to block some of the lasers, but his main goal was to get closer to Dusk, especially since he would likely not target near himself.

Dusk leaped away and summoned more lasers.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea, however, simply kept running toward Dusk, as he dodged or deflected all the fatal attacks, and most of the non-fatal ones.

An invisible (but definitely there) wall appeared in front of Rhea.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea, however, slashed out at the wall quickly.

OOC: How? It's INVISIBLE. As in, there is no sign whatsoever of it's existence.

OOC: Well, it was created from casting energy, right? Shouldn't there have been even a slight hint at it? If not, then let's say that he did that after crashing into it, or even nearly crashed into it. I'm not quite sure on that, the only other barrier seen so far has had a rippling effect. =P

OOC: No visible effect. That's how skilled Dusk is.

OOC: Well whatever, let's go with either nearly crashing into it, intuition, or actually crashing into it. =P

OOC: Crashing into it. :P

OOC: Well either way, he's attacking it, so... =P

A giant glowing crate fell towards him.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea dodged to the side quickly, as he didn't know what the crate was, but figured it was nothing good.

OOC: Just a glowing crate. Nothing inside.

IC: A glowing dragon appeared and flew at Rhea.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea narrowed his eyes, and gripped his sword, as he then sent a spiraling wheel blast toward the center of the dragon, aiming to cut it right in half. All the while, Rhea looked around for where Dusk had actually gotten to.

The dragon dodged.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea, however, quickly shifted his aim, and fired another blast, not directly at the dragon, but toward where the dragon would be headed.

The dragon shattered. Dusk launched a glowing missile at Rhea.

This time, Rhea didn't hesitate, as he launched another wheel of energy at the missile quickly, concentrating even as he did so.

A glowing anvil fell at him.

-==IC: Rhea==-

That one, however, Rhea quickly dodged.

(Dusk): "Hold."

-==IC: Rhea==-

"Yeah, what?" Rhea asked, as he froze in the middle of preparing to send another energy wheel toward Dusk.

"We should move this to another room before we destroy my collection of glass sculptures."

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea's eyebrow twitched.
"I could have told you that before we started to fight in the first place!"

"Let's go." *adjusts glasses*

Rhea nodded after they reached the training room, and held his arm to the side, once again activating his 'casted armour', as a circle of swirling wind surrounded him at the level of his feet. Rhea then dashed forward, hoping that this time Dusk would simply fight him head on.

Dusk Casted a sword and spun to face Rhea.

Rhea deflected the slash from the sword to the side, and then attempted to slash out at Dusk once more.

Dusk dodged and slashed again.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea blocked, and then kicked out at Dusk quickly.

Dusk dove under the kick and stabbed at Rhea's back.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea, however, quickly spun around, and deflected the stab to the side.
"Good, but not good enough." Rhea said, as he slashed out at Dusk once more.

OOC: What is he slashing out with again?

OOC: That casted sword he's always using. =P It was initially more like a beam saber, but with each enhancement Rhea gets, and with his skill in casting increasing, it continually gains more integrity. Now it's looking like a normal sword, though probably more on the 'shortsword' side, than on the longsword side. But that's mostly just because of his inexperience still. =P

OOC: Thanks.

IC: Dusk caught the sword.

Rhea, however, kicked out at Dusk quickly in response.

Dusk caught his leg as well.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea then decided to just plain old punch Dusk in the face.

Dusk was not expecting that. It worked.

Rhea jumped back, and waited for Dusk to recover.

Dusk Casted a twenty foot long sword, decided it was too long, and decreased it to five feet.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea smirked, and then ran toward Dusk quickly, and slashed out at him.

Dusk blocked, jumped over Rhea's head, and kicked at him from behind.

-==Rhea==-

Rhea stumbled forward, and then turned around, as he smirked.
"Alright then, bring it."

Dusk raised his hand. A glowing cube surrounded him as millions of glowing arrows rained down.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea narrowed his eyes, as he dashed forward, and attempted to dodge the falling arrows of energy.

OOC: Take note, I don't have any barrier techniques yet. =P

Dusk snapped his fingers, and the cube protecting him and the arrows all vanished.

Rhea then took that moment to rush toward Dusk quickly.

Another invisible wall appeared in front of Rhea.

Rhea crashed into it. Again. He growled, and then slashed through the wall once more.

Dusk hit Rhea with a glowing hammer.

Rhea absorbed a lot of the blow with the armour of his left arm, however, the blow still shattered the armour, and damaged his arm and caused Rhea to wince. However, since he was right handed, that didn't do much.

Dusk Casted another sword and pointed it at Rhea's throat. "Ready to give?"

Rhea chuckled, but didn't make any moves, as he couldn't.
"I would've had you if you hadn't switched attack types so much and hid."

"Oh, and the Devil's are going to play fair?"
The sword vanished.

-==IC: Rhea==-

"Oh, I understand they won't. I'm just saying that I don't have those abilities yet." Rhea said, and shrugged, as he deactivated his cast.
"That invisible wall was kinda unneeded, though." Rhea muttered, as he rubbed his nose.

Dusk chuckled and adjusted his glasses.

-==IC: Rhea==-

"So, what now?" Rhea asked, as he held his left arm.

"You should go check on your friend Lily."

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea nodded, as he walked out of the room, and then headed toward the Hospital wing.

Maria was sitting next to Lily's bed. Lily was asleep.

"She okay?" Rhea asked with a frown, as he walked into the room.

"She'll be fine...Thank God...I could never forgive myself if something happened to her..."

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea nodded, and frowned.
"What happened to Zeil, anyway?" Rhea asked, hoping she was locked up still.

"I may have been a little rough on her. I think she's still unconscious."

-==IC: Rhea==-

"Good." Rhea said with a nod.
"Now we have to figure out what we should do next..."

"I'm not leaving Lily's side."

-==IC: Rhea==-

"I see..." Rhea said with a nod.

Dusk entered the room. "Rhea, you still need to investigate the Gold's apartment."

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea nodded, and walked out of the room, and then out of the academy, and headed toward the apartment again.

There were signs of a struggle in the apartment.

-==IC: Rhea==-

Rhea frowned, as he looked around the apartment, for signs of who this Gold may be, and where the Gold may have been taken.

There was a photograph of a teenage boy sitting on a bench next to a girl of about the same age.

OOC: You're so not making this easy to figure out, are you? =P

Rhea was intrigued, as the actual person could be either of those two, and continued to look for clues as to who this Gold was.

There were several other photographs of the girl.

Rhea frowned, and then attempted to find other things; like, you know, a name.

There were no clues as to the name of the Gold.

Rhea sighed, and looked around the room to make sure he hadn't missed anything.

He had missed something. Namely, he had missed that Gabriel had been standing there watching him the entire time.

Rhea paused, and blinked, as he looked at Gabriel.
"Oh, hello there again." Rhea said, as he nodded to Gabriel.

"Cast in the Name of God, he was Guilty."

-==IC: Rhea==-

"Nice twist on your usual saying, I like it." Rhea said with a chuckle, but then paused, as he realized what Gabriel had said.
"'He'? What do you mean by that?"

"The boy that lived in these chambers."

-==IC: Rhea==-

"Ah, so, what did he do to be 'guilty'?" Rhea asked, intrigued.

OOC: Red herring much? =P

OOC: :P

IC: "He was Guilty."

OOC: I think it was a red trout, actually. ::) Herring's too small. =P

"Yeah, you kinda already said that, but how was he guilty?" Rhea asked, as he chuckled slightly.

Gabriel looked at Rhea as if he didn't understand the question.

Rhea sighed.
"What did he do to be considered 'guilty'?" Rhea asked again.

"It is not what he did, it is what he is."

-==IC: Rhea==-

"Okay, so why does being a caster automatically make you guilty? You said yourself that the seven casters would choose their own path... And the most plausible path, is the one that will lead to the Demons being destroyed." Rhea said, as he didn't understand why Gabriel was automatically considering all casters evil.

"The Golds must be trained to ensure that they stay on the right path. I will do that."

"Ah, good, we're finally getting somewhere." Rhea said, with a smile.
"So, then, all this stuff with you appearing... Can I guess that it is simply to test us?" Rhea asked, to make sure.

OOC: Why do I have a suspicious feeling about that prophecy now?

"No. I must destroy those that go against the right path."

Rhea sighed.
"How do you know who are going against the right path?" Rhea asked, as he raised an eyebrow.

"It is obvious. Ye Guilty."

Rhea sighed, as he tried to figure out what to do.
"So, basically, everyone who doesn't go for training with you is 'guilty'? Even though they might have the exact same goals as you do?" Rhea asked, as that made no sense to him.

"Ye do not understand."

Rhea sighed.
"No, I don't, because you aren't making yourself clear. Why do you consider us guilty, just because we haven't gone with you to 'ensure we'll stay on the right path'?" Rhea asked, and frowned.
"I ask, because I do what I perceive is right when I do that... And right now, I perceive that the Demons are the threat here."

OOC: If you want, address that second part as if it's a second post, just have Rhea be interrupted in your post as he goes to respond to the first part. =P

"Man's perception is flawed."

Rhea sighed.
"I thought you were just going on about how I wasn't human? Or, can you confirm I'm half human?" Rhea asked, and then frowned.
"But answer me this... If I'm half human, and half something else... Then I'm half what?"

Gabriel did not answer.

"Can I take a quick guess then?" Rhea asked, as he sighed.
"I've heard that one reason the Angels are so against us, is because our powers go against what you stand for. The question then, is how we got the powers..." Rhea said, as he closed his eyes.
"However, you said I'm only half-human. That still leaves the question of what the other half is... And I believe the two questions are tied into one." Rhea continued, and then opened his eyes.
"Half human... Half god. Demigods. Am I right in that?" Rhea asked, as he looked at Gabriel.

OOC: technically I should've seen that earlier, if it's correct. Given Percy Jackson and all, and you resisting the urge to quote the Second Great Prophecy. =P

"Some humans believe that all humans are descended from God."

"I'm meaning a little more literal than that." Rhea said with a slight chuckle.
"Like those old myths the Greek had back in their day."

"No Human in these times has been part God."

"Hmm, well there goes my guess, what is that 'second half', then?" Rhea asked, as he honestly had no clue now.

OOC: *Shrugs* That was my only guess. xD

"It is said that long ago, the world was flooded to wipe out the sinful humans that had descended from Angels."

Rhea blinked.
"So, wait, you mean, I'm half Angel?" Rhea asked, to see if that was what Gabriel was trying to imply.

Gabriel did not answer.

"If that's true, then I'm still not sure why you attack every so often, especially when we're trying to destroy the Demons as well." Rhea said with a slight frown.

"Knowledge will come in time."

Rhea sighed.
"So, who is this Gold, anyway? At least let me find that out easily." Rhea said, as it was easier to refer to someone by their name, than 'that Gold guy'.

"His name is irrelevant."

"You sound like one of those Borg from that old space show." Rhea said as he chuckled.
"And if his name is irrelevant, then it wouldn't hurt to say it, would it?" Rhea asked, as he looked at Gabriel.
"Besides, what am I going to refer to him as otherwise? 'That Gold guy'?" Rhea asked, as he didn't know why Gabriel wasn't wanting him to know the name.

"His name was irrelevant, so I did not learn it."

A bead of sweat ran down the back of Rhea's head.
"... Are you absolutely sure that he is actually a Gold?"

"Of course. We do not fail."

"So, uh, how do you track the Golds, anyway?" Rhea asked, as he was intrigued by that; especially since Gabriel said they didn't fail.

"We can sense them."

"Figures. I was gonna say that, but I thought it might be cliche." Rhea said with another chuckle.
"So, with training, theoretically, could Casters sense other Casters?" Rhea asked, as he was now curious about that.

Gabriel did not answer.

"This conversation is very one-sided, I've noticed." Rhea said, as he was denied an answer. Again.

Gabriel still did not speak.

Rhea tried to return the favour, as he simply furrowed his brows and frowned, as he stared back at Gabriel.

Rhea simply stood there with a blank look on his face, as a sweat drop ran down the back of his head.

Rhea frowned, and sighed as he shook his head, and exited the apartment, as he headed back to the base.

A woman in a white dress was crossing the street, heading in his direction. She had fluffy white wings and a golden halo, and carried a silver harp.

Rhea noticed the woman, and frowned.
Who's she? Rhea thought, as something seemed off about her, somewhat. Aside from her weird sense of fashion.

The woman was walking very slowly, and didn't seem to have noticed him yet.

Rhea frowned, as he continued to just walk down the street.
Maybe she won't notice me. Rhea thought.

"Oh, hello."

The woman had a very musical, soothing voice.

Rhea frowned, as he looked at the woman.
"Hi." Rhea said, as he was noticed after all. Something still seemed odd. But she seemed nice for the moment...

"Where are you going? You seem nervous."

"Back to my friend's place. She's sick." Rhea said, as it was technically the truth.

"Oh, I know a bit about medicine. Can I help?"

"Maybe, but when I said sick, I meant more bed ridden due to a very serious injury." Rhea said with a shrug.

"Oh, I can help with that too!"

Rhea nodded.
"Ah, I see. So, you're some kind of nurse, then?" Rhea asked, as he raised an eyebrow at her outfit.

"No, not exactly."
