So my uncle has a 15" 4:3 core 2 duo MacBook pro running lion. He called me the other day, and asked if i could help him make his Mac run windows programs. I told him I'd have to double check how but I could do it fairly easily. After doing a little reasearch, I didn't find any new methods, but was even more confused as to what will give the best overall performance, without dual booting into windows 7. The two main ones I'm considering are WINE and Parallels, but I know there are other methods. But what would give the best overall performance? I know there are Mac users here, so I hope you can help.

Talk To Me Quote ArchiveI've got no place to go, I've got nowhere to run. They love to watch me fall, they think they know it all. I'm a nightmare, a disaster, that's what they always said. I'm a lost cause, not a hero, but I'll make it on my own. I've gotta prove them wrong - It's me against the world. It is, in the end, whatever the **** I want it to be. And when I'm through with it, it's gonna blow a hole this wide straight through the worlds own idea of itself. ... Come on, lets go break their arms.

Okay, I'll spend what is quite possibly my last post here on this:
I use VmWare Fusion 4, and it works nicely. However, I'm considering switching to Parallels.

I've been trying to get Windows onto my iMac... I'm just trying to download the trial version for VMware fusion 4... Yes, try VMWare fusion. It's very good
