"You know something, I take it. It would be nice to know more, but if there is a creature that does what I described, then people must know and take measures to prevent it. Find its weaknesses. Stop it from reproducing. And, now, I want to know its weaknesses."

"Hate to sound too obvious but have you tried, say, Google?"

[Trijhak]

"I haven't had the time to google it. The past few days have been more than odd. But I will now."

Daniel left and walked to his 'room/apartment'.

OOC: you'll find that the TV in your suite has a keyboard and mouse, as well as a touchscreen.

Daniel entered his room, and searched for what he had described earlier on the TV/Computer, hoping to find more about what he had seen.

After some searching Daniel found a teenage girl's blog from a couple years ago. She described something similar happening to her at a Florida hotel. She described terror, and then as days passed it turned into a hesitant fascination. There was a small gap between posts , and then her entire demeanor changed. She still acted like the same person but something had seemed to have fundamentally changed about her. It was like she matured two decades in a day. Her grades skyrocketed and her social life dropped off. Blogs from her became more sporadic and eventually stopped.

Daniel felt a shiver run through his body. From what he could deduce, something similar happened to this teenage girl, except slightly different. But he still had to search more. This girl did not seem to share the same level of terror he had.

Following links and leads around the internet, he eventually came to a website featuring cryptids. Amongst the photoshopped creatures, hazy outlines, dogs with weird haircuts, reflective eyes in the dark, and deep see invertebrates, he saw a cruddy cell phone picture of almost exactly the creature he had seen.

Daniel gained a very small of amount of hope as he viewed the image. Perhaps the person who took this image was as terrified of it as he was. Notably, this  cell phone image had only been uploaded a week ago. Perhaps he could somehow contact the uploader of the image.

The image was linked to a Facebook account. A Bryan Francisco from Colorado. The account was locked to friends only, but there was an adress in the location field.

Daniel wrote down the address. He would need it later. This 'Bryan Francisco' seemed like someone that he could completely and fully trust, despite never having met him or talked to him in any form.

Further research on Bryan turned up a rarely used twitter feed, where he mentioned starting to go to sleep and seeing the creature, which then ran off. He managed to get a picture as it ran off. He also mentioned the feeling of extreme terror, but chalked it up to Entomophobia. A later post mentioned that his girlfriend had convinced him to get the house treated for centipedes, and one of the latest posts said he had been diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder .

He was not able to find any more information on this man

After not being able to find out any more information on Bryan Francisco, Daniel decided to search more for what he had seen two days before. Hopefully with different results this time.

He found a young child's drawing of the creature some time later, posted on the mother's Google+ Though done in crayon, it was fairly accurate. Apparently the child had seen it by the parent's bed. The child did not seem phased but the parents had freaked out. The mother's (Julie Davis) picture, phone number, and email were there, but no address, only the location marked as Ontario.

Daniel yawned while reading. It was about 1:30 AM.

Daniel wrote down the details, as he had done with Bryan Francisco's address, and turned off the TV/Computer.

He entered the bed, and tried not to worry too much. He needed the sleep anyway.

Daniel awoke from a dreamless sleep to knocking on his door, and the sound of Evanescence. He looked at the bedside clock, which read 7:30

Daniel got up, and opened the door. He was expecting to have had more sleep, but it was still sleep.

"Hey there. I got breakfast up. Quiche and sausage. Didja find anything out last night?"

OOC: yes, Tyler likes to cook.

[Trijhak]

"I won't be eating anything. And yes, I did find out several things... Later today, I'm going to contact someone through phone, and search an address on Google Maps. I'm closer to what I want or need to know."

"Alright then. Hey, your parents are gonna be wondering where you are. What're you gonna do about that?"
