The other day I met a teenage girl and we started talking about the careers we were hoping to follow. She mentioned without enthusiasm  that she was interested in photography, and I told her I had been on an award winning robotics team for the past two years and that I am going into mechanical engineering.
Her response: "Robotics?? What's that? Like you build a robot?"

We are spreading the word of this awesome program. It has been around for over 20 years, with thousands of teams around the world. Thanks to sponsors (such as NASA, Boeing, Google) and mentors who volunteer their time, any school can start a team (different leagues for ages 6-18). However, we cannot spread the word fast enough. There are still billions of people who have not heard of this program, and thousands who are missing out on an opportunity that is perfect for them.

Please watch this video and spread the news to anyone you know who might be interested. It could change a life.

Three years ago, I was introduced to a brilliant program that has completely changed my life.

This program isn't a classroom lecture... it is a 100% hands-on way of learning. Working side-by-side with professional engineers, I learned skills from detailed design on SolidWorks to public speaking. The result? Check it out for yourself! =D

Competitions are currently taking place across the world! Go to thebluealliance.com and "watch now".
The game the robots are playing?:

My team already had our competition. We placed 2nd and will be moving on to World Championship.
