Matt looked over and saw a blank look on Virnuk's face.
"Several decades ago one of the old tech giants, called Apple, went under. most of it was bought up by Google And Microsoft, the ones you read about in the history books. Our company, a Google spinoff, got Apple's not-very-good, but somehow very popular AI software, were tasked with making it a true intelligence. when our division got spun off, we kept the Siri name and brand. We've been putting the Siri intelligence into robots for years now. I was brought on to help Siri achieve sentience, which I did. First sentient prototype was shipped here for testing, and, it (somehow) got loose."
